Chapter 1 - waiting for some good news
For weeks, Jeff was a lost because his second adopted daughter, who is Piper and Jeff decided to take her into his family because her real father was get so drunk and badly hurt her, was laying in a hospital bed with a oxygen mask over her mouth and nose and she is on life support because she is in a coma - Jeff hate the word "coma" because he know that Piper may not wake up at all - and Jeff is going over that frightening day.
That was Tuesday 26th October in the morning at 08:30am, two days after Piper's 18th birthday, and Jeff is waiting for TB6 - the new Thunderbird that he built for Piper when she turn 18 years old - to come back to Tracy island after a test fly but when TB6 came into view, he saw that something is not right and he piloted TB6 into her landing spot and that is when Jeff's nightmare begin. Jeff open the door to TB6 and enter TB6 and as he look around for any inconveniences, that is when he saw her - his second adopted beloved daughter unconscious on the floor, one of her hand is on her chest and the other hand was chain to her pilot seat, and Jeff was in shook that he run straight to his second adopted beloved daughter and free her hand from TB6 pilot seat and Jeff pick her up and run outside of TB6 and got her to a hospital when he found out that she is in a coma
Jeff went to the bed with two doctors doing check on the equipment and Jeff took Piper's hand and put it near his cheek but when Jeff remove his hand from Piper's hand, he saw that Piper's hand stay on his cheek and he saw one blue eye and one green eye look at him and he look at the doctors with surprised eyes and the doctors start to remove everything from Piper and one of the doctors give a drug to Piper to help her wake up properly and leave the room to do some paperworks. Jeff smile and waiting for that smile from his second adopted beloved daughter and he got that smile, that he got when he went to Piper's school for Parents evening, and he saw that Piper was look at him with tears of joy in her eyes and Jeff just hug her and Piper hug Jeff back and then a doctor enter the room with a wheelchair and told Jeff that Piper is leave the hospital today and Jeff know that she is coming home today
