The Little Wolf wasn't exactly in any plan that he had. The plan was always the same. Get to Beacon Hills and find his way into the pack. Theo has always wanted power but he has never been one to want anything other than that. Scott's Beta though, he wants him. His angry blue eyes and his explosive temper are captivating.

Nothing has ever been captivating to him. Other than power that is. He has to be careful. Tread carefully. He doesn't want any warnings to go off. Stiles already seems weary of him. Leave it to
Stiles to question everything and everyone. That might be a problem.

Scott looks at him uncertain, while Stiles narrows his eyes at him. He just helped save Scott. He is not really sure why everyone has a problem. He looks over at the blue eyed beta again.

He looks angry and confused. He senses a tension between the Alpha and the Beta. He wonders what he has walked in on. This might be a lot easier than he planned. The seeds of doubt already seem to be in the pack.

"So you randomly moved back here?" Stiles asks, suspicion in his voice.

"It wasn't random. I don't do anything randomly." Theo smirks at him.

"Ok, why are you here?" Scott asks.

"I came back for a pack. I heard a lot about you. I've always been a loner. " He explains.

He keeps his heartbeat steady and smiles soothingly at all of them. The werecoyote scowls back at him. She seems to be a little less friendly than the others.

"We don't let everyone in pal." Liam scowls.

"Liam." Scott says in a warning tone.

Liam glares at Theo. His blue eyes angry and his chin lifted high. He seems to be a lot more fun than rest of them. There is that want again. Theo is confused by it. He never really cared for anyone but something seems different about this one. He sees himself in the Beta.

Liam rolls his eyes and growls. Theo smirks at him.

"Okay, well we gotta go." Stiles says abruptly.

"Ah. We will talk later." Scott smiles at him.

"Of course." Theo smiles at all of them.

They turn away and start walking back down the road. Liam turns back slightly and looks over his shoulder at him.

Curiosity. He can work with that. He flashes a smile at him and Liam frowns.

It wasn't that hard to be involved with everything. Scott has always trusted people more than Stiles. When he was younger he admired that about Scott. Now he can use it. He steps into the McCall house to untrusting eyes.

"Hey everyone." He smiles.

Kira smiles back and Scott does too. The rest not so much. Predictable. Theo is patient. He always has been patient. He follows the pack into the living room. He sits next to Liam, who moves a few inches away. He hears his heartbeat skip a beat as he moves.

He can work with that.

"Okay, for those of us that are in this pack, we would like to figure out what we can do about all these crazy people coming to town." Stiles points out.

"Crazy is a relative term." Theo says.

"Not really." Stiles frowns at him.

Stiles continues on. Theo notices Liam fidgeting back and forth. Every time Stiles mentions saving people and seeing the good, per Scott's words, he fidgets and frowns.

"I think we can talk it out and maybe we can avoid any fighting at all." Scott points out.

Theo sees it. It's just a moment, but it's there. The uncertainty in Stiles eyes and the disagreement in his body language. Scott forgets that everyone has hurt or killed someone in this pack. Scott seems to think everyone is always thinking as he does.

It's clear they don't. The seeds of doubt are already there and are growing even more. That's good news for Theo. Makes it a little bit easier.

"What if no one wants to talk." Liam protests.

"We have to try." Scott stresses.

"I guess I just don't get what happening right now. I mean they killed some people. We are going to just walk in and assume everyone is happy to sit and have tea?" Liam half growls.

"Of course not, but we don't kill people and we always have to make sure we do things diplomatically. " Scott explains.

Oh how touching. It takes everything in him not to roll his eyes. He listens and pretends to agree with Scott. Liam glares at him a few times, but there is no real threat behind his eyes.

They conclude their little pack meeting and Theo stands up to leave.

"Where are you living?" Stiles asks.

"My parents bought a house. I will show it to you sometime." Theo says.

"Hmmm." Stiles grumbles.

He says his goodbye and gets in his truck. As he pulls out, he stops. Liam is standing behind the truck. He wonders when Liam snuck out without him noticing. He comes over to the window and taps on it. Theo rolls his window down and raises his eyebrows at him.

He is somewhat surprised Liam is talking to him so soon. He acted very hostile in the house, but there appears to be more to the beta than he thought.

"Are you going to continue to pretend to agree with everything Scott says?" Liam asks.

That catches him off guard. He always assumed Stiles was the one paying attention to things like that. Theo is good at lying and always has been. Interesting that this beta was able to figure him out in there.

"I don't agree with everything but I don't want to cause any waves in the pack." He smirks.

Liam frowns. He doesn't look like he believes anything Theo is saying right now, but that's okay. He isn't running to ask Scott about it.

"I see. You seem like someone that likes to stir things up." Liam says.

"How would you know?" Theo sneers.

"I….have a feeling." Liam says, sounding slightly doubtful.

"What other feelings do you have about me?" He asks.

The Beta's cheeks turn slightly red but he shakes it off quickly.

"Okay, have a good night." Liam scowls.

"Do you need a ride?" Theo asks.

"Um….Stiles is taking me home." Liam explains.

Theo looks towards the window of the house to see Stiles talking to Lydia. He makes no sign of being ready to leave. He looks back at Liam and opens the door. He slowly and reluctantly gets in the passenger seat.

"Okay. I will let you know where to go." Liam says.

"Sure." Theo says.

He follows Liam's directions and parks in front of his house. He waits and he senses the questions forming in The Beta's mind. Liam's heartbeat speeds up and then he turns to Theo.

"Were you friends with Scott and Stiles?" Liam asks.

"We used to be in little league together. I wouldn't say we were friends. " He says.

Liam nods thoughtfully. His eyes showing curiosity and something else. He can't place what it is.

"Do you think that we should talk to THOSE HUNTERS?" Liam growls.

He has to be careful. He is going to be honest but he cannot too honest. He cannot assume that Liam is not a rebellious werewolf who just needs some time to adjust to his Alpha's ways. He pauses and shifts towards the werewolf.

"I think that if Scott wants to save everyone he can talk to them, but I don't want him to get everyone killed doing that." Theo explains.

"I'm sorry I'm asking. I'm putting you in a weird position." Liam says, his shoulders drooping slightly in defeat.

Sadness reeks off him and he looks like a puppy that is about to be sent outside to think about his actions. Theo doesn't really know what to say at first. He doesn't like anyone, but he sort of doesn't mind this werewolf.

"I'm already in a weird position. Everyone looks at me like I'm about to murder the pack. Or Stiles does." He smiles slightly.

Liam chuckles softly. His eyes lighting up a little more and he puts his hand on the truck door. He turns towards Theo and opens his mouth.

"You don't have to say anything else. It's fine. I get it." Theo says, interrupting him.

Liam looks down at his lap. Theo follows his eyes and realizes his hand is on Liam's knee. He isn't sure when that happened, but Liam's blue eyes widen slowly. His heart starts to speed up and he swallows, finally looking up at Theo.

There is a slight hitch in the younger werewolf's breathing and Theo can now confirm with certainty that he wants Scott's Beta.

He can be patient though. Only for a little while. He smiles and takes his hands off his knee.

Yes, Theo is not one to want anything except for power, but he will make an exception.
