Hey guys. It's been such a long time, huh?
I honestly forgot about this account, but I'm back! I'm going to be updating all my stories and re-making them, maybe deleting the ones I'm not interested in or I don't like.
This is the first story I'm re-writing!
I'll have some notes at the bottom!
Enjoy :D.
Peter Parker stared down at his aunt, tears freely streaming down his face. Aunt May's lifeless eyes looked back up.
Remember, with great power comes even greater responsibility.
Those were her last words, something Ben had always said to Peter as a little boy.
"May, May no. Open your eyes please, don't leave me. I can't fucking take that. Please no, not like this."
Peter sobbed as he held May's hand, barely able to breathe. He could hear a voice talking to him, but couldn't understand what they were saying.
He sobbed until he couldn't anymore, finally blinking away the tears that were left and saw an older woman in front of him, holding his hand gently. "Are you okay, Peter?" Shaking his head, the young teen pulled away. "Who are you?"
"My name is Marleen Hunter, I am a social worker working on your case. I came here after I heard of your aunt's passing. I'm so sorry that we have to do this so soon, but you don't have any living relatives, correct?"
Peter nodded, looking heartbroken at that fact. "We have to find you a place to stay, okay? Either you can come with me and we can get you into a foster home, or if you know anyone who can take you in, you can call them and bring them here. I'll have to talk with them, but we can figure it out."
The teen took out his phone as a response, knowing one person who could help him.
Calling said person, he waited for him to pick up.
"Mr. Stark, is that you?"
Tony Stark was tinkering in his lab when the kid called him. Slightly annoyed, he answered it on the third ring. "Wassup kid, you realize how late it is, right?"
"I-I'm sorry to bother you sir but-I-fuck-need help."
Freezing, the man put his tool down, already getting things together. "Where are you?"
"..The hospital near that shopping place you and I went to, with the lego store."
Grabbing his coat, Tony was already out the door and hopping in the car, giving Happy directions.
"I'll be there in a second okay kid? Just wait, I promise I'm on my way."
"Thank you Mr. Stark, I didn't know who else to call."
The kid then hung up, and Tony was freaking out. Was the kid hurt? That wouldn't be good, especially with Peter's DNA being like a spider's. They have been careful about making sure he never got in an accident that would need somewhere else like a public hospital, and instead Peter always went to the Med Bay.
Parking in front of the hospital, Tony rushed out and towards the receptionist, who looked shocked to see him there.
"T-Tony Stark? What can I do to help you?" She smiled but looked worried. He ran a hand through his hair. "I'm here to see a kid named Peter Parker. Is he here?" She opened her mouth, but then there was a shout of Tony's name.
"Mr. Stark!" Arms wrapped around his waist, and there was a mop of brown hair in his vision. "Kid? What happened?" Peter sniffed. "May…It's May…" Tony felt him softly crying in his arms.
"Shh kid, I don't know what's really going on, but I'm really scared something happened to May. Can you tell me? I can't help if I don't know what's going on."
Backing up and wiping at his eyes, Peter took a deep breath. "May was on her way home when she called me to let me know she was getting food after work and wanted to know if I wanted anything. I was telling her about my day when she suddenly screamed-she got in a car crash, Mr. Stark. She's gone." He started crying again, and Peter held him once again, rocking him and whispering reassuring words in his ear. "I'm so, so sorry kiddo. I'm here, I'll make it all better, I promise. I'm guessing a social worker is here?" With a nod from Peter, Tony knew what he had to do.
They stayed like that, Tony helping Peter to a chair and still holding him. He could see a woman nearby, watching them with a gentle smile, and guessed that was the social worker. She was waiting patiently for them to finish having their moment, which he was grateful for.
When Peter fell asleep, he rested his head on his mentor's shoulder, finally getting some sleep.
The woman then took the chance to step forward, smiling slightly. "Hello, I think we need to talk about Peter's future, and his living situation."
Okay that was the new first chapterrrr! I'm so excited to keep writing on this account, I hope you all enjoy this story!
I'm going to work on the next storys, but I'll be back soon to keep writing! Bye!
