Chapter 1: Beginnings
Hilda's room
The beeping of an alarm clock pierced the calm silence of the room, waking up the sleeping blue-haired occupant. After rolling and sitting on the edge of the bed she silenced the alarm clock, before she groggily switched on the lamp and opened the blinds to see the outside which is still dark out apart from the light from the horizon and the street lights illuminating the streets, all is quiet apart from the occasional sound of a vehicle passing through.
The occupant got out of the bed before doing some stretches, switching on the room light, and instinctively made the bed. After completing the tasks, she greeted her elf friend Alfur who is up earlier than her, which he replied to her greeting.
After greeting her, Hilda goes to the bathroom to prepare for the day.
David's room
An alarm clock beeped from across the room waking up the occupant from bed, who immediately jumped out of bed and walked to silence the alarm. After silencing the alarm, switching on the room light, and opening the blinds, he stretched before he made his bed.
After putting his two stuffed animals back on the bed, which Hilda and Frida told him he is too old for it but they are ok with him having it. He goes to the bathroom to prepare for the day.
Frida's room
The beeping of an alarm clock sounded from across the room, causing the occupant to wake up and silence the alarm clock. After silencing the alarm clock, she switched on the room light, and drew the curtains before she made her bed, an improvement from her past. After making her bed she goes to the bathroom to get ready for the day.
All Three Simultaneously
After they all have washed themselves, brushed their teeth, put on their outfit for the day, and switched off the lights to their respective rooms they all go to the kitchen to help prepare breakfast with their respective mums and dads.
Hilda
After leaving her room with her sling bag and dressed in her attire for the day, she walked to the kitchen and dining room combination of her Family's flat to see her mum Johanna, her nisse Tontu, her elf Alfur, and her biological dad Hiram or known to everyone as the Bell keeper, revealed to everyone after the events of the Mountain king.
After greeting her Parents, Tontu, and Alfur, she grabbed some mugs before putting it on the table. Hilda poured her Parents some coffee, and she poured herself a nice mug of orange juice, and help to set the table while the both of them are preparing breakfast.
David
After going down the stairs from his room with his backpack and dressed in his attire for the day, he entered the kitchen and dining room combination of his family double story flat to see his parents, his elf Alvin who is the same one who is to replace Alfur, but returned back after signing the eyewitness confirmation form. However, he has returned with the same role as Alfur which is the Trolberg correspondent.
After greeting all of them he helped to set the table, and poured everyone except himself a mug of coffee, which he poured himself a nice mug of apple juice, while his Parents prepare breakfast.
Frida
After dressing in her attire for the day, and doing some final checks, she headed downstairs to the kitchen of her Family Terrace house for breakfast. Where both her Parents are preparing breakfast, her mum asked her to help bring out the milk, coffee mugs, and plates. After setting the table she grabbed a bowl and cereal, before pouring herself a bowl of cereal before milk for her breakfast. She poured herself some coffee with creamer and sugar.
After a while her elf Adeline arrived, who is the same one that is part of a team to bring Alfur back, but returned empty-handed after Alvin filled up the paperwork. However, now she is the Trolberg correspondent together with Alfur and Alvin.
The Bell keeper, the Parents of David, and Frida are able to see the elves after they signed the paperwork.
After Breakfast
After all three had breakfast with their respective families they all helped to clear the table, while their mothers are preparing their lunches for the day. After clearing the table they did the dishes while doing the dishes they heard either the radio or television which they left on since breakfast, go to a news broadcast. The news first started with the weather report which called for a clear and sunny day which everyone is thankful for, before going to the day's headlines. After a while, the headline goes to something involving Erik Ahlberg and the Safety Patrol.
All three commented after rolling their eyes "When will he start to learn that some of his actions will do more harm than good for Trolberg and its inhabitants.".
All their parents agreed with their child's comment, especially Hilda's father who has seen the fallout from one of Ahlberg's schemes involving the bell ringing, however he and his daughter who was unknown to him at that time put a stop to it. However, since revealing to everyone that he is Hilda's dad he resigned from the Safety Patrol and got a new job which allowed him to spend more time with his wife and daughter.
Suddenly the parents realised something about their respective child.
"Wait a second aren't you…."
Before they finish their sentence all three looked at the clock and realised that they are going to be late to meet with their friends at the central belltower. All three told their Parents that they will be meeting their friends at the Central Bell Tower soon before they said "Love you mum, love you dad, I will be back hopefully by dinner time, will call if there are any changes." After saying that all three picked up their respective elves, lunches, bags, water bottles, cardholders, wallets, and phones. Before they put on their jacket, helmet and for David a pair of black rectangular framed prescription glasses. After putting on their shoes or for Hilda her boots, they went out of the front door after their parents acknowledged their goodbyes.
All three cycled to their destination which is the Central Bell Tower which is relatively close to their houses. Upon reaching their destination, they all met at the entrance and dismounted from their bikes and are let in by a Safety Patrol officer at the entrance after showing their identification, before they secured their bicycles at the designated parking area, and before they start their day.
