Finally was able to get this one out. I'm excited for this season, I really am. And it feels amazing to come back to writing these types of stories. I want this first episode especially to be good because I remember the first episode of my last season was a bit clunky compared to the rest of the season. So this is my chance to improve off of that. This one will be twice as long because it's the premiere and I want to make it special by making it feel like one of those 2 hour premieres. So yeah, hope I did that ok. I barely managed to scrape 20,000 words with this one so yay for me I guess.

Just like the last one, this one will have 16 chapters including the recap episode before the merge, the 2 part finale where I'm not sure where to split it up and of course, the Reunion show. I'll also be doing the Ponderosa series for this one since the first one came out better than I thought it would and I consider it to be a great way to clear up any missing character arc points and was a breath of fresh air to the whole competition side of things where we got to focus on them more as people. My goal however is to make this season longer and aim for 200,000 words. I ain't going to do filler or anything though, just want to make sure I add more content to each episode to create a good story for you guys.

So hopefully this one will be a good start to the season!

EPISODE 1: FOOD FOR THOUGHT

The episode opened with an underwater shot before quickly resurfacing, showing the wild jungles that the castaways will be living in.

Jeff: On the coast of the Adriatic sea, a place known for it's intangible goods and colorful beaches with a population of over 4 million people. This is Croatia! In just a few moments, this area will be home to 18 Americans for the next 39 days. They have been divided in to 3 tribes and must work together to overcome the odds.

The next scene showed Jeff on a jet ski, approaching an abandoned island with an open cave.

Jeff: Over the course of Survivor, many castaways have found themselves in interesting dilemmas which either worked to their success or led to their failure in this game. And this season, we're taking this to a whole new level.

He then got off his jet ski as he arrived at the island.

Jeff: This is the temple of secrets. Over the course of this game, castaways will be exiled to live on this island, however, each visit comes with a choice to make which could make or break the player's game or the people around them.

Jeff then went inside the cave where there was a hallway with multiple setups, each set-up came with a choice of 2 things and also showing a note in the middle. Some of these choices included "Food or Shelter" and "Camp Visit or Camp Raid". There was also an immunity idol shown which had a skull symbol on it.

Jeff: How will this impact the game? We'll find out soon. But one thing is for certain, as soon as these 18 American's arrive, the game will be on from the get-go, as 2 people will find themselves on this very island, forcing them to make a choice on Day 1.

The camera then panned over to a train which was passing through Europe. Inside the train were shots shown of the players.

Jeff: These are all strangers coming in from different walks of life, forced to work together to create a new society while battling the elements and each other. They must learn to adapt or they'll be voted out of the tribe.

Jeff was then shown back on his jet-ski, leaving the island.

Jeff: In the end, only 1 will remain to claim the million dollar prize and the title of Sole Survivor. 39 Days, 18 People, 1 Survivor!

The camera then zoomed out, showing the temple of secrets one last time before playing the intro.

The train was getting closer and closer to where it needed to be. Behind the main train, were 3 separate cabins following, each cabin holding 1 tribe of 6 people. The camera zoomed in to the first cabin which had the first tribe on board. There were 6 people shown doing their own thing.

Damian (confessional): I am a glorified ex criminal. I got arrested 6 years ago for robbing a bank, drunk driving, pretty much the usual stuff you get arrested for nowadays. These people are probably gonna be intimidated by me, heck I expect them to be. It wasn't easy going through all that community service and jail time just to apply for Survivor. So, this'll be just as fun as stealing candy from a baby.

Moana (confessional): Coming in to this game, I know I'm up against some stiff competition, even looking at my tribe here. We got someone who's covered in tattoos and piercings and all that jazz so he's probably going to be an issue to deal with. Then I look to my other side and see this other dude who looks like he has something that he's trying to keep a secret from everyone. Not sure what it is, but it scares me.

The camera then panned to the second person that Moana was talking about who was just looking out the window nervously.

Luke (confessional): I am already nervous even before getting off the train because I know that I have a large chip on my shoulder that I was going to have to deal with. My name is Luke Kalahan, and if you've already connected the dots, you would know that I am the younger brother of Sabrina Kalahan from last season.

A short montage was shown of Sabrina who was getting in to arguments and causing all sorts of drama.

Luke (confessional): I had no interest in Survivor until after I saw her play. And now that I'm out here, I want to prove to her and to everyone else that you can win this game by being decent to other people and having a level of self awareness.

The camera now went to the second cabin which had the second tribe on board.

Vinnie (confessional): I am a professional poker player, I have built my life around lying and deceiving other people and getting to steal their money as a result of it. Survivor is the same challenge however it's only 39 day career, and I expect to go the entire distance. These people may not be a fan of how I play but hey, when a million dollars is on the line, everyone else's opinions kind of just fade out.

Gail (confessional): When people look at me, they see this whole introverted Brainiac that keeps to herself a lot and doesn't like to talk to others. But I am known for having some pretty solid social skills. And I think that this group of people that I'm playing with, I'm going to have lots of options as to who I can trust and who I can afford losing. This game is on already and I couldn't be more excited.

Lauren (confessional): There couldn't have been a better season for me to be on. I love Croatia, I think it's absolutely beautiful. I've been there on 3 separate holidays with my family and we always have a good time. And I also think this gives me a bit of an advantage because it's always useful just to know your surroundings and I think that I'm going to be able to be a huge asset to my tribe.

And lastly, the third cabin on the train contained the third and final tribe on board.

Kenny (confessional): Survivor I feel has been the only good part of my life that I can remember. I have struggled a ton for myself financially and this game has always given me hope. And now that I actually get to be on here? There's no other option for me other than to win so that I can provide a better life for me and my family. I definitely think I'm the most prepared in terms of the survival aspect, and I think that'll really help me connect with these people.

Jayda (confessional): This whole goth look that you see right now, that is me, this is my persona. And I have put up with a lot such as high school bullies and annoying brothers and sisters. It all made me move out and start my own life where I have worked as a retail buyer. It has been a true test to how smart my personality is because I have made almost everyone I work with cry at one point or another. So I am ready to just get to work and see my game take off.

Nigel (confessional): A 32 year old comedian, yep, that's me. I don't really have much of a strategy apart from figuring out how to not be the first one voted off. If I can get past that, then I may actually stand a chance in this game. But for now, I just gotta try and keep my mouth shut, play up the social game a bit and maybe people will like me enough to want to put up with me a bit longer.

The train then arrived at it's destination and everyone from all 3 cabins got out. They all then made their way through the village where there were tons of people watching. They then got on a boat which took them to an open beach where they all met Jeff. They also saw a variety of equipment spread out around the island. They soon get off the boat in this one big group where there were 3 tribe mats in front of them.

Jeff: Alright, welcome to Survivor Croatia!

Everyone cheered and clapped their hands in excitement.

Jeff: Ok, let's get started. Now, while you were staying on that train, you were each assigned a cabin to stay in. Those of you that were in cabin 1, go ahead and step on the blue mat.

Curtis, Luke, Sarah, Moana, Damian and Rachel all followed these instructions as Jeff tossed them their buffs.

Jeff: Your guys's tribe name, Kornati.

Everyone on the mat all greeted and hugged each other before putting their dark blue buffs on. Jeff then turned to the bigger group.

Jeff: Those of you that stayed in cabin 2, head to the yellow mat.

Andy, Dianne, Gail, Lauren, Vinnie and Zane all stepped on to their yellow mat as Jeff tossed them their yellow buffs.

Jeff: You guys are the Vorona Tribe.

Everyone on that tribe took a likeness to the name as they all greeted and hugged each other as well as equipping their buffs.

Jeff: And as for the rest of you who were in cabin 3, head to the pink mat.

Brendan, Kenny, Emily, Kate, Nigel and Jayda all stepped on the pink mat. Jeff then threw them their pink buffs.

Jeff: You guys are the Juburi tribe.

Now that everyone was officially split up in to 3 tribes, Jeff went ahead and explained to them how this season would play out.

Jeff: All 3 tribes are going to be living in completely different areas in this vast Croatian jungle. This is made to test the most toughest of Survivors. For the next 39 days, your ability to adapt is what's going to get you to the end. What some of you may not know is that the game has already began so your skills are going to get tested right out of the gate.

The camera then went around the island, pointing at the various items.

Jeff: Scattered around the island are items that are going to help you over the next 39 days. Some of these items will offer short term value, other items will offer long term value. You each have 2 minutes to gather whatever you find back to your tribe mat. Once it's on your mat, it's yours.

Everyone nodded at this.

Jeff: In addition, there's something else at stake. Something that every person that has played this game is afraid of is being the first person voted out. Now there's an opportunity for you to prevent that. In addition to these items, there are 2 individual immunity idols hidden around here. Find one of those idols and bring them back to your mat in the time limit, you cannot go and grab anything else however you are guaranteed safety at the first tribal council of the season.

Everyone was left shocked at this twist.

Jeff: This means that even if your tribe loses that immunity challenge on Day 3, you won't have to worry about getting voted out. However, there's also a catch to this, if you get one of the idols back in time, instead of heading to camp with your tribe, you will get on a boat and head to a secluded island where you will spend your first night there, meaning that you miss out on that quality bonding time with your tribe. And those first impressions are a big factor in a game like Survivor. And to make things more interesting.

Jayda: *Sigh* there's more?

Jeff: The island that you will stay at is called the temple of secrets. Once every couple of days, one of you will be able to visit that island where you will make a decision which can make or break your game. Everyone understand?

After their response, everyone prepared themselves to race out and get what they need.

Jeff: Here we go, Survivors ready? Go!

And after his signal, all 18 players raced past Jeff and in to the jungle where they already spotted some of the items. These were short term items such as fruit which a couple people were already bringing back to their tribes. One of the people from Vorona, Dianne was looking past the items and looking for one of the idols.

Dianne (confessional): After Jeff told us that these immunity idols could guarantee us safety, I was already racing to look for one of them, I didn't even care about the other stuff, I just know that I didn't want to be the first one voted off.

She kept looking until eventually she found one of them next to a crate of chickens.

Dianne: *Whispers* Yes!

She then saw one of her tribe mates, Lauren searching through some stuff.

Dianne: Hey, there are some chickens here!

Dianne (confessional): I knew the chickens were only going to slow me down, seeing that we only had 2 minutes.

Lauren then turned and grabbed the chickens and raced back with them.

Lauren (confessional): So this girl who's on my tribe wanted me to get the chickens for some reason. Not sure why but I didn't think much of it, I knew we needed those things so I just went for it.

Jeff: 1 minute and 30 seconds left!

Dianne meanwhile managed to make it back to her mat with the immunity idol in hand.

Both the Kornati and Juburi tribes started to have their mats filled while Vorona was falling behind.

Jeff: You are making decisions that are going to impact you for the next 39 days! There is stuff to be found in every nook and cranny!

Nigel learned this the hard way as he pulled a fish out of a bush.

Nigel: Ew, you stink!

Meanwhile, Damian was jogging a long, not really doing much until something caught his eye, it was the second tribe idol.

Damian: Huh, well that was easy.

He then heard footsteps behind him and saw Kenny turn up. He then saw Damian with the idol.

Kenny: Damn, you beat me to it. Good job.

Damian: You can have it if you want.

Kenny: Really?

Damian: Yeah.

Jeff: 1 minute left!

Damian: We have each others backs in this.

Kenny: Sure!

Damian then tossed Kenny the idol and ran off.

Damian (confessional): I wasn't that bothered about being safe at the first tribal council, I didn't really think it was worth it. So I gave it to him and said" We have each others backs, right?" And he was like "sure", so that was good enough for me.

Kenny (confessional): Not sure what his thought process was considering we weren't even on the same tribe or anything, but seeing as we only had a minute left, I didn't care enough to think about it, I just wanted to make it back to the mat in time.

Moana meanwhile was searching through trees and came across an envelope reading "secret advantage". She wasted no time in grabbing it.

Moana (confessional): So I was in the middle of gathering fruit and on the floor, there was this envelope, I didn't get a chance to read what it said, I just grabbed it and shoved it in my pocket. It was just one of those adrenaline rush moments. Didn't know what it was but I knew it was important.

Jeff: 30 seconds left! You need to hurry!

Everyone was now scrambling more than ever now to get what they needed to get on to their mat. Kenny managed to make it to his mat in time and breathed a sigh of relief. He then glanced over and saw Dianne with the other one.

Sarah: Guys, need some help with these chickens!

Rachel: I got you!

Jayda then helped Sarah get the chickens back to their mat.

Jeff: 5, 4.

Moana was getting closer to her tribe mat.

Jeff: 3, 2.

She jumped to it just in time.

Jeff: 1, everyone stop! That's it, drop your items, head back to your mats.

Everyone dropped any items they were about to bring over. They all glanced at what they had gathered.

Gathered items.

Kornati: Coconuts, papayas, fish, a machete, some wood, secret advantage (Moana), chickens, palm fronds.

Vorona: Chickens, bananas, apples, fishing gear, palm fronds, tribe idol (Dianne), pineapples, pots and pans.

Juburi: Flint, a machete, pots and pans, mango's, a hammer, tribe idol (Kenny), plantains, bananas, fish.

Jeff: Wow, got quite the collection from each tribe. Now, I see 2 of you decided to go for the immunity idols. Guy on Juburi, first name?

Kenny: Kenny.

Jeff: Kenny, why'd you decide to go for the idol instead of helping your team.

Kenny: Like you said before, no one wants to be the first one out. And I'm sure that whatever lies on that island, her and I can both deal with.

Jeff: And the girl on Vorona, first name?

Dianne: Dianne.

Jeff: Dianne, you agree with what Kenny is saying.

Dianne: Absolutely. I mean that's what Survivor is about, it's about decisions like these.

Jeff: Well congratulations, Kenny and Dianne, you both managed to guarantee your safety for at least the first 5 days. There is a catch though, you both have to spend the night together at the temple of secrets where you will have a decision to make on behalf of your tribes. Get on that boat, it'll take you there, good luck.

Both of them nodded while they got on to their boat which headed off towards the temple. Jeff then turned to the rest of the group.

Jeff: As for the rest of you, the only chance you have of guaranteeing your safety in this game is the immunity challenge in a couple days time. On the bright side, you all get to use that time to bond with your tribe, see what you can do from there. Here's a map to where each tribe will be staying.

He then tossed a map to each of the tribes.

Jeff: Alright, grab your stuff and head out. Good luck!

Lauren (confessional): Well damn, that explains why Dianne wanted me to get those chickens, she wanted to get back to the mat with her idol. That just tells me how sneaky she can be. And it scares me for what's to come down the road here.

Sarah (confessional): This season is no joke, 1 person from each of the other tribes are gone for the first night. Hopefully that's an advantage for us and we can prepare ourselves to kick butt in that first immunity.

Brendan (confessional): Hopefully the decision Kenny made will only put the target on his back, meanwhile I can focus on building my alliances and dominating this game to the merge.

KORNATI DAY 1.

All 6 members of Kornati were carrying their stuff and were relieved to have arrived at their new camp where they saw their tribe flag.

Rachel: Home sweet home!

Curtis (confessional): Arriving at our new area, everyone was excited to meet each other, some were incredibly happy to be here. And I think our tribe has proven how loyal they are because there's 6 of us, the other tribes only got 5.

Everyone all dropped their stuff and went and shook hands with each other.

Curtis (confessional): I'm just excited to get this game on the road and do what needs to be done around here.

Rachel: So how should we do this?

Curtis: We all just wanna go around in a circle and get everyone's names and stuff?

Everyone agreed to the idea and started to go around getting people's names.

Moana: So my name's Moana, I am a meditation instructor and I live in California, I am 34 years old.

Luke: My name's Luke, I am a lifeguard from LA.

Everyone was surprised and happy at Luke's job.

Luke (confessional): I think that's another thing about our tribe, we all have these unique jobs that you wouldn't think about usually. I dunno, it's a great feeling though, knowing you aren't the only one out here that has this complex lifestyle.

Damian: My name is Damian, I live in Florida and I am a tattoo designer.

Rachel: Yeah, you seem like that kind of person. You do have nice tattoo's.

Damian: Yeah, thanks.

Damian (confessional): I didn't want to tell everyone that I was an ex criminal because i didn't want them to get scared of me or anything. I want them to feel like they can trust me enough to want to be around me, and that they don't have to sleep with a machete next to them for the first couple of nights here.

After everyone made their introductions, they all started to scatter and work with what they have. Meanwhile Moana walked off to the side to read the note that she picked up.

Moana (confessional): After everyone got done introducing themselves, I kind of wanted to separate myself real quick from the group because there was this note back at the whole marooning area. So I wanted to sort of read that to see if there was anything useful. I made sure that no one was following me. I wanted to just keep this to myself.

After finding herself a secluded enough spot, she took out the note.

Moana: Secret advantage. Ok, something good then. I'm already excited.

She undid the note and read what it said.

Moana: "Congratulations you have found a secret advantage in the form of information in this game. Hidden at each of the camps is a hidden immunity idol." Wow, those things are powerful. "These immunity idols can be played after the votes are cast but before the votes are read. If you feel like you are in danger, give the idol to Jeff and any votes cast against you or the person of your choice will not count. The last time these can be played is when there are 5 people left."

Moana (confessional): So I read the advantage and it was information that there was an immunity idol around this camp. And sure as hell I wanted to find that thing as soon as I could. Luckily the second part of the note was a clue to where the idol was. But before I could read it...

Rachel: Hey, what you got there?

Moana: Hey, I found this back at the marooning.

Rachel: Oh cool, what is it?

Moana (confessional): Rachel just came out of no where and saw me read it. So that left me with no choice but to show her. Who knows, maybe it'll get her to work with me.

Moana: It's a clue to an immunity idol, there's one around this camp somewhere.

Rachel: Oh cool, what does it say?

Rachel then sat with Moana as she read out the clue.

Moana: Doesn't say anything, it's a map.

Rachel: A map of our camp?

Moana: Yeah, look. There's the water well, that has an X on it, there's the rock pool to the right of camp, and then there's the rain forest when you go deeper in to the jungle.

Rachel: So the idol must be in one of those 3 spots.

Moana: Yeah, it'll take forever to search for though, and we've been gone long enough, the others might get suspicious of us.

Rachel: We should probably head back.

Rachel (confessional): People see me as just a pretty face, but they don't see the ruthlessness behind the face. I'll stick with Moana for now but that immunity idol is only going to make her a bigger threat down the road. So I'll have to turn on her at some point so I won't have to worry about that idol.

Moana and Rachel headed back and passed Damian.

Moana: How you doing?

Damian: Good, just gathering some leaves for when a tsunami happens. I think the shelter will work here.

Rachel: Yeah, I agree.

Damian (confessional): Those girls, they're up to something, I can tell. I don't want to make any sudden moves just yet, heck acting on impulse is what got me locked up in the first place. I just want a peaceful first night with these people. We're getting our shelter sorted out, I'm having fun, I just want to keep it that way. Having to start out with 3 tribes is already enough of a pain.

VORONA DAY 1.

The 5 members of the Vorona tribe carried their stuff to their new beach and were all relieved when they saw their tribe flag.

Zane: Here we are guys!

Gail: Finally.

Everyone all dropped their things and started to greet each other.

Andy (confessional): When we got to our camp, there was just this feeling inside of me that couldn't wait to start. I'm excited to just start building the shelter, making alliances, voting people off. This is what I came here to do.

Vinnie: Alright, what should we do first? Fire or shelter?

Gail: I think a couple of us can get started with the shelter.

Lauren: Yeah, I'll go and get some wood and bamboo.

Gail: Yeah, me too.

After the girls left, the 3 guys went and got some bamboo so that they can start fire.

Zane: So from what I know, this stuff needs a lot of energy. I mean, I don't wanna take charge or anything.

Andy: That's fine. I'm sure we can figure it out.

Andy and Vinnie then took the pieces of bamboo and started rubbing them together.

Zane: Start off slow so you get a better feel of it. It'll start to get warm.

Zane (confessional): I kind of wanted to take charge of things around here. If these people know that I know what I'm doing, they'll keep me around for sure.

Vinnie: Right.

Vinnie (confessional): Zane kinda took the leadership role in terms of us trying to start a fire. Everyone knows that taking the leadership role in this game can mean being the first one voted out.

Gail and Lauren then watched from the distance.

Gail: They're starting fire already?

Lauren: Sure looks like it.

Gail: Zane is doing a lot of talking over there.

Lauren: Just let him do the talking.

Gail: Alright.

The two then started to gather some wood using the machete.

Gail: So what is it you do for a living?

Lauren: I work in an ice cream shop.

Gail: Oh really? That's cool.

Lauren: Yeah, there wasn't many jobs out there for me, that was one of my only options and hey, I enjoy it.

Gail: So what do you think about this whole temple of secrets thing?

Lauren: It's a lot. I mean I already know Dianne is pretty shady after putting herself before the tribe.

Gail: Sucks that she's safe and all.

Lauren: It's only for the first tribal. We can get her out easily after that. I think we can get the guys on board with that.

Gail: I think so too.

Gail (confessional): I'm getting a good vibe off of Lauren. She seems to see eye to eye with me about what's going on. So I definitely think it's important for us to stay together.

Lauren: If we do end up losing, we're just gonna have to get Dianne with us.

Gail: Agreed.

Lauren (confessional): I know that in this game, I was gonna have 1 person that I know will have my back and someone that I would want to go the distance with. And I think Gail is that person. She's really smart and looks like she'll be able to handle herself.

Back with the guys, they were able to get some smoke. They then blew on it and a couple flames started appearing.

Andy: Yep, it's starting to smell.

They then gathered some sticks and wood and made a nest for the fire.

Lauren: Oh did you guys get it?

Zane: Yeah, we got it just fine.

Zane (confessional): We managed to make fire in the first hour or so. We didn't even need that flint, you can't beat this.

Vinnie and Gail then watched from the side as Zane and Andy both celebrated.

Vinnie (confessional): So we got the fire going, actually Zane pretty much helped us with it. And I sense a bit of a target forming on his back.

Gail: Did you sense how Zane was during that?

Vinnie: Sure did. He's taken charge on a lot of things around here. I'd say just keep him happy. Make him feel good about being the leader.

Gail: Already there.

Meanwhile, Zane, after assembling the shelter and doing a decent job on the fire, looked over at the chickens and sighed.

Zane (Confessional): I really wished we didn't get the chickens to be honest. I am a vegan, have been for a while now. Ever since I was 15.

Zane then pet the chickens from within their cages.

Zane: Don't worry little guys, I'll keep you safe for as long as I can.

Zane (Confessional): So hopefully I can find a way to avoid getting these chickens killed for as long as I can.

JUBURI DAY 1.

Juburi found their tribe flag and all headed towards it and set their stuff down.

Emily: This is amazing.

Nigel: I know, I've always wanted to be on the pink tribe.

Brendan: Alright, well let's get to work on our shelter.

Brendan (confessional): I'm happy with this tribe, we seem like a decent mix of brains and brawn and we all seem to know what we're doing.

Nigel: Ok, how do we build the shelter?

Brendan (confessional): Well mostly anyway. Nigel seems like he's forgotten what show he's on.

Jayda: We've already got some flint for the fire. We just need to get wood and leaves and stuff for the shelter.

Everyone was shown getting to work by chopping wood.

Kate (confessional): So far everyone seems to be in a good working mood. Brendan kind of took the leadership role a bit there. That did bother me, it was like everything had to be the way he wanted it.

Brendan: I think here would be a great spot for the shelter.

Emily: Yeah this looks nice. There's plenty of space around here.

Brendan: Do you guys want to just start gathering wood and stuff while I can try and get the fire going.

Brendan (confessional): I can already sense that our tribe has got an edge. We got some great tools and some food for the first couple of days. The fish we're probably going to eat as soon as we can because that stuff can get rotten real fast.

A short montage was shown of everyone getting to work on the shelter. Meanwhile, Emily and Jayda were both working on gathering leaves for the shelter.

Emily: Are you the kind of person that just wants to talk strategy right away?

Jayda: Yeah, I can be.

Emily: Ok, good. You know, this whole thing would be a lot easier if Kenny was here.

Jayda: I know, he seemed like he had a couple of good skills that could have helped us out.

Emily: Well that just goes to show you that he's out here for himself.

Jayda: I know. But we can't vote him off straight away.

Emily: Who do you think then?

Jayda: Brendan helps out a lot around camp. Nigel I don't think knows what he's even doing.

A short clip was shown of Nigel struggling to use the machete.

Nigel: I'm too old for this.

Jayda: He'd be an easy first boot if it came down to it.

Emily: I guess but is he really a threat though?

Jayda: Threat or not, better him than us.

Emily: True.

Emily (confessional): I do think that Kenny has made a major mistake because we are not in the individual phase of this game yet. We're still in tribes and that idol will only get you through the first tribal which we may not even go to.

Jayda: I think when he gets back, we need to make him feel comfortable enough so that he has nothing to worry about so we can get rid of either Nigel or Kate and then we get him out on the next vote.

Emily: Sounds good to me.

Jayda: Great.

After the shelter was built and the fire was going smoothly, they all decided to get to introductions.

Brendan: So my name's Brendan, 25 years old and I am a football player.

Everyone, specifically the girls on the tribe took interest in this new job.

Nigel: So my name's Nigel, I am 32 years young and I work as a comedian down in California.

Jayda: Oh nice...

Nigel: And while I'm at it, there's someone I'd like you guys to meet.

Nigel then reached in his bag.

Brendan (confessional): When Nigel announces that there's someone he'd like us to meet, I was instantly in paranoia mode, does he have a stowaway hidden in that bag or something, what is he talking about.

Nigel then pulls out a puppet dressed in chef's clothes.

Nigel: This is Mr Chef, my best friend of 10 years now. Got him when I was out shopping for props for my next show.

Brendan (confessional): Then he shows us this creepy puppet doll thing who he calls Mr Chef. Not sure why you'd have that for a luxury item but hey, maybe it's to keep his mental state in check or something.

Emily: So you're like a Ventriloquist?

Nigel: I guess you could say that, but us 2 have a bond deeper than the ocean.

Jayda (confessional): ...Who is this lunatic?

Nigel: Say hello Mr Chef.

Nigel then brings the inanimate object to life.

Mr Chef: Greetings, can I order you guys a new tribemate since Kenny went to go spend time sleeping with a girl on a separate island?

Jayda (confessional): Puppet handling may have been popular back in the 80s but we're in the 21st century, stop living in the past.

Nigel (confessional): Yeah I knew coming in to this that I would have a tough time introducing myself. I'm in the same tribe as Brendan, he's the golden boy, the alpha male in the tribe. How the hell am I supposed to compete with that?

Brendan: Anyways, I think we're all set for the first couple of days. Think we can just relax now.

Jayda: Great, cause that took way too long.

TEMPLE OF SECRETS DAY 1.

The boat arrived at this mysterious island and both Dianne and Kenny got off. They instantly took notice of both the giant snake statues on both sides of the cave. They then saw a sign in front of them.

Dianne: Great, I'm already getting the spooks.

Kenny: Same. Let's see what this says.

Dianne (Confessional): So it's Day 1 of Survivor and I find myself on this remote island that kind of reminds me of Exile. I want to make the most of this situation and see what I can do moving forward to better my game in the long run.

He then approached the sign outside the cave and read it.

Kenny: "Welcome to the temple of secrets, a place where your decisions have an impact on the game. Inside the cryptic cave, you will find a bunch of sections. Find the section that corresponds to what day it is and read the instructions provided." This is so cool.

Dianne: Yeah I've never even been in a cave before.

Both of them then entered the cave and grabbed the lit torches shown on both sides of the entrance.

Kenny: At least now we don't have to worry about fire.

They both came across the only section that was available to them.

Dianne: Look, there's rice.

Kenny: Also some wood.

The rice and wood appeared beneath the section of writing on both sides. They then proceeded to read through the instructions.

Section #1 - Day 1 - Food or Shelter.

As you both know, you have decided to forego going back to camp with the rest of your tribe in exchange for immunity at the first tribal council of the season. You are both going to spend the first night here and return to your tribes the next day. As a result, your tribemates can easily view you as an easy person to get voted out of the game, this may be a way to change that. Underneath these instructions is a jar of rice and some shelter wood. You will both have to decide between you who will return to their tribe with the rice and who will return to their tribe with the wood. This may just be enough to earn the good graces of your fellow survivors. That's not all. Hidden within one of these essentials is a clue to a hidden immunity idol that's somewhere around your camp. Find it and you can protect yourself from being voted off at any tribal council you go to up until there are 5 people remaining. Good luck, and remember, choose wisely.

Dianne: A hidden immunity idol, that is powerful.

Kenny: I've watched last season and I know that having one of those is always a good thing.

Dianne: So where to we think the clue may be hidden?

Kenny: I personally think it's in the rice since it would be better camouflaged. But again, I don't know what this clue even looks like. It could be a symbol on one of those pieces of wood for all I know.

Dianne: Yeah, I don't want to overthink this, especially when it's this early in to the game.

Both of them then stood silent for a moment, examining both of their options.

Dianne: Well after seeing my tribe, I think they could really use the rice honestly. You know what they say, food for thought.

Kenny: I guess that's fair. Plus my tribe seems like they'll know how to use that wood. So it's decided?

Dianne: Guess so! Good luck on finding that clue!

Kenny: Likewise.

The both of them shook hands as they went to claim their respective tools. It was now getting late. Kenny set up a mini shelter based on what they were provided.

Dianne: You're pretty good at this.

Kenny: Thanks. I've had some skills.

Dianne (confessional): There is a possibility that I can work with Kenny moving forward. Since both of us knows that 1 of us has a chance of finding an idol and then there's also the knowledge that all 3 camps have an idol. If we both manage to find those idols, that could mean something real powerful.

Dianne: So there's an idol hidden at each camp?

Kenny: Sure sounds like it, yeah.

Dianne: So clue or not, we both need to try as hard as we can to find those idols.

Kenny: Yeah, and if either one of us ends up on Kornati, we could try and find that.

Dianne: Imagine that, us two working together with 3 idols. We'd be unstoppable.

Kenny: That does sound exciting. Here's hoping we both make it through these first couple rounds.

Dianne: Yep.

Kenny (confessional): Working with Dianne? It's definitely an option. She is easy on the eyes that's for sure. That and she's also pretty smart in knowing that each beach has an idol. But I'm not certain on anything yet. I've also got this thing with that Damian guy from Kornati. So he'd also seem like a good person to team up in this game with. After all, I haven't even spoken a word to anyone on my tribe so I need to get a good feel for everyone first before I make any big decisions.

Dianne: Good night dude.

Kenny: Good night.

KORNATI NIGHT 1.

The sun was now set as the Kornati tribe was enjoying themselves and their company. Everyone was in the shelter, resting. Meanwhile, Curtis and Damian went away from the shelter and made sure they weren't in ear shot.

Curtis: So here's the thing, I think the girls have got their own thing going.

Damian: You think so?

Curtis: Yeah, didn't you notice how long Moana and Rachel were out for?

Damian: I never gave it much thought honestly but yeah, I guess you're right.

Damian (confessional): Right now I'm just trying to play dumb. So when Curtis tells me about this possible girls alliance, I'm like "Oh really? I had no idea!" Pfft, please of course I know.

Curtis: So I'm thinking us guys need to form something to take them out.

Damian: Yeah I guess that could work. Luke seems like a pretty trustworthy guy.

Curtis: But us two can be honest with each other, right?

Damian: Yeah sure.

Curtis: Good cause I've been meaning to ask you something.

Curtis (confessional): I've been suspicious of Damian for a while now. I swear I've seen his face on the news before. He used to cause a lot of trouble. So I just decided to get it out in the open and see if I can trust him.

Curtis: I swear I've seen your face before. Weren't you arrested a couple years ago for robbing a bank in South Carolina?

Damian paused for a second and decided to tell Curtis the truth.

Damian: Yeah, you live there don't you?

Curtis: Mhm, look bud, I won't tell anyone. I don't judge people for their past, I judge them for what they do here. And you've been a pretty straight up guy, so I know I can trust you.

Damian: Well thanks. And yeah, I do want to work with you.

Curtis: Let's see where this takes us.

Curtis (confessional): I think I did a bang up job at earning Damian's trust there. I know us 2 will be a force to be reckoned with for sure.

The 2 fist bumped before returning to their tribe.

JUBURI DAY 2.

The next morning, Brendan, Emily and Jayda were all relaxing in the lake, deciding to take a break. Kate watched the 3 of them having fun and then sighed.

Kate (confessional): There is always a struggle when it comes to trying to fit in because I do have insecurities that hold me back. Like when I saw my tribe walk off and hang out in the pool, I wanted to join them, I just have issues when it comes to... I guess letting loose and hanging out. I'm that kind of person that's very insecure about how they look, and I don't want to have to deal with that kind of exposure.

She then finds Nigel hanging out by himself.

Kate: Hey Nigel, you doing okay?

Nigel: Yeah, I guess I'm fine. How's about you. Why ain't you chilling with the others?

Kate: I guess it's just not my kind of thing, I'm kinda insecure when it comes to stuff like that.

Nigel: Ain't that what Survivor is though?

Kate: It can be to some people. We're all out here for different reasons.

Nigel: Yeah I guess that's true.

Kate: I could ask you the same thing though. Why aren't you trying to "blend in?"

Nigel: I guess cause I can't. I mean look at me, I'm 32 years old, they're all in their mid 20s.

Kate: 32 isn't that old.

Nigel: Really?

Kate: Yeah, there's still a lot of life left ahead of you.

Nigel: Oh, well thanks for the pep talk.

Kate: No problem.

Kate (confessional): To be honest here, Nigel is the only one who I feel like I can relate to out here. He kind of reminds me of my Dad, he always had a sense of humor about things. And those are the kind of people I feel drawn too.

The 2 of them had their conversation interrupted by a ton of commotion going on near the sea. They decided to go and see what was going on.

Brendan: Hey guys! Kenny's back!

Kate: Oh, nice!

Kate and Nigel both raced out and saw Kenny coming to their camp on a boat. He jumped off and walked towards them with his pile of wood in hand.

Emily: So, how was it?

Jayda: Yeah, what did you have to decide.

Kenny: I got this pile of wood while Dianne got more rice for her tribe.

After hugging and shaking everyone's hands, Kenny set the pile down and everyone was impressed on how big it was.

Brendan: Well good choice. I can't wait to see the kind of things we can build with all this.

Kenny: Wait, actually, I feel bad about ditching you guys yesterday. I feel like the only way to make it up to you is to work with all this by myself.

Jayda: Wow, you sure about that?

Kenny: It's fine, I build stuff all the time. If I need help, I'll ask. You guys have done enough, time for me to do my part.

Brendan: Well thanks, it means a lot.

Kenny: No problem.

Kenny (confessional): I had to get myself alone and doing it this way ensures that my tribe knows that I'm aware of the decision I made and will want to keep me around longer, I can show off my building skills and most importantly, I can search for the clue to the hidden immunity idol. So as far as I know, this was perfect.

They all went to go back to their usual antics while Kenny was untying the rope.

Kenny: I don't even know what I'm searching for here. I just hope it's something that sticks out.

He kept trying to make it look like he was arranging wood so the others don't grow suspicious of him.

After a couple minutes of searching, he found this wooden bottle with a piece of string around it. He shook the bottle, making a rattling sound, letting him know that there was something inside.

Kenny: Yes, I think this is it.

He then stuffed the clue inside his pocket and continued to go to work. Brendan, Emily and Jayda watched him from the distance.

Jayda: He is so shady.

Emily: Why do I feel like there's something he aint telling us?

Brendan: I wouldn't be too worried. The safety was probably why he took it, that's powerful enough. All we have to do is stay focused and win that first immunity challenge. After that, we got nothing to worry about and can just get rid of him.

Emily: True. I think.

Kenny then opened the capsule and out came a rolled up note.

Kenny: Yep, I'm going to need some help with this.

Later that day, Kenny and Nigel were both walking through the jungle.

Kenny: So I can trust you, right?

Nigel: Not sure, can you?

Kenny: Right, well I'm going to trust you and hope that I'm telling the right person here.

Kenny then pulls out the clue that he found from the rice.

Nigel: What's that?

Kenny: A clue. There's apparently a hidden immunity idol around this camp somewhere and I want to find it.

Nigel: Mkay, what does it do?

Kenny: Any tribal council you go to up until there are 5 people left, you can play it before the votes are read to give yourself immunity for that vote and any votes cast against you will not count.

Nigel: Wow, cool.

Kenny: Yeah so I'm gonna need multiple people for this one.

Kenny then showed Nigel the clue, which was the same one that Moana found.

Kenny: The idol's in one of these 3 areas.

Nigel: So you want us to split up or something?

Kenny: Yeah, I'll search the rockpools, you can search the water well. Here.

Kenny then handed Nigel the clue.

Kenny: If it isn't there, try the rain forest. This'll help you find where it is. Make sure no one else sees you with it.

Nigel: Alright, thanks.

Kenny (confessional): Nigel seems very new to the game of Survivor. He doesn't really know what's what around here. So, I take that chance to share this info with him, he knows to work with me because I've got safety for that first tribal.

They both headed off in their separate directions. Kenny went to the rockpools while Nigel went to the water well. As soon as Nigel got there, he looked at the clue.

Nigel (confessional): So Kenny decided to give me the idol clue, there are already many things I can do with this thing. I can show it to Kate who's my other ally in this. Or I could just keep it. Then I hear my stomach go off.

Nigel then got hungry and decided to stuff the clue in his mouth.

Nigel (confessional): And I just went with option C which was to just eat the whole thing. I mean it was smart because I was hungry and I don't have to worry about people finding it.

He then swallowed it and let out a burp.

Nigel: Mm, not bad.

He then went to try and look for the idol. Kenny meanwhile was searching the rock pools like he said he was.

Kenny (confessional): Right now, Brendan, Jayda and Emily are all relaxing in the ocean. I have a gut feeling that they're talking about wanting to vote me out. And so I'm searching the rock pools and it's scary because it's within viewing distance of the others.

Kenny was throwing rocks towards the beach, giving others the impression that he was gathering rocks while also giving himself some more space as to where the idol could be.

Kenny (confessional): So I searched the left side, didn't really find anything. So I moved over to the other side to see if I had any luck there.

As he was searching, the others were looking towards him.

Brendan: What is he doing?

Emily: Gathering rocks? If it's for the fire then he has more than enough.

Jayda: Sheesh, the guy's trying way too hard.

Kenny was searching through more of the rocks.

Kenny: I'm starting to think it ain't here. Aw great, what am I gonna tell the others?

The others were now exiting the ocean to dry off, still keeping their eyes on Kenny, who was using a rock to help himself get out. He then paused midway as he felt some string getting tied across the rock.

Kenny (confessional): As I was getting out, I was using this rock to kind of help me since I've pretty much destroyed the rockpool area, but then I felt some string. And it felt like the same string that was on that clue, I then paused until the others were out of viewing distance.

He then waited until the others headed back in the shelter before lifting up the rock.

Kenny: Please let this be it.

He followed the rope to the other side of the rock where there was this small package tied within. He then untied the rock.

Kenny: *Sigh* I can't believe it.

Kenny took the package, unwrapped it and inside was a necklace and a folded note. The necklace was purple, square shaped and had a picture of a flower on the top and a horizontal crescent moon on the other.

Kenny: Cool, Croatian symbols.

He unfolded the note and read the first few words.

Kenny: "Congratulations you have found the hidden immunity idol. The hidden immunity idol will keep you safe from being voted off at tribal council. This can be played after the votes are cast but before the votes are read. This can be played for yourself or any player of your choice and any votes casted against you/them will not count. The last time it can be played is when there are 5 Survivors remaining in the game". Holy crap, this is huge.

Kenny (confessional): This is surreal for me. I now have an extra layer of protection and I can use it whenever I want until the final 5. And now the challenge is how can I make it work so I won't have to use it so early.

VORONA DAY 2

The tribe was mostly relaxing, meanwhile Vinnie was observing his tribemates.

Vinnie (confessional): So far Zane seems the most out of place on this tribe, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that. Gail and Lauren seem to be getting super close as of late. And Andy, his mind seems to be going a million places at once. So I think my best bet right now would be to form a close bond with Dianne, gain her trust because she has safety and therefore is the one with leverage.

Lauren: Hey guys, that a boat?

The tribe then looks off in to the distance and sees a boat approaching them.

Andy: Must be Dianne.

Dianne then jumped off of the boat with the jar of rice and approached them.

Dianne: Hey guys! Hope I didn't miss much!

Gail: Nope! Just our shelter and barely functioning fire!

She then shared hugs with the rest of the tribe.

Zane: That rice you got there?

Dianne: Yeah, Kenny and I competed in a game for a special reward for our tribe which I won.

Dianne (confessional): I know that people may get upset at the fact that I chose rice over building equipment, so to avoid all that, I'll make it seem like I'm an asset to my tribe in terms of challenges and see where it gets me.

Vinnie: Nice, we should be more than prepared for that immunity challenge now!

Zane (confessional): This is great, this means that the more rice we have, the less likely they are to turn to the chickens for food.

Zane breathed a sigh of relief at this. Later in the afternoon, Vinnie and Dianne were both left alone in the shelter.

Dianne: I've probably got a lot to catch up on, haven't I?

Vinnie: Yeah but don't worry. The basic premise of this right now is that it's guys vs girls. The girls are a pair and the guys are a pair.

Vinnie (confessional): What I'm telling Dianne is a half truth/half lie, it's a trick that's used on poker to trick your opponent. I know Gail and Lauren love to hang out quite a bit. But I don't perceive Andy and Zane to be that close.

Vinnie: I just want you to know that I'm not with the guys as much as they are with each other. I've just been without an ally.

Dianne: Right, I could use an alliance myself.

Vinnie: So what do you say?

Dianne: Count me in.

Vinnie: So is there anything else you got from that temple.

Dianne: Well...

Vinnie: Come on, I caught you up.

Dianne: Ok, fine. I've got information.

Vinnie: What kind?

Dianne: Well, Kenny and I found out that hidden at each of these camps is a hidden immunity idol.

Vinnie: What? Like the ones from last season?

Dianne: No, these ones are different. You can play them after the votes are cast but before they are read. So around the time Jeff says "I'll read the votes".

Vinnie: Ah, right. Yeah one of those can come in handy.

Dianne: So there is a chance that a clue to one of those idols is in that jar of rice.

Vinnie: So like a 50/50?

Dianne: Yeah, if I don't have it then Kenny does.

Vinnie: Right, but how are we supposed to find it.

Dianne: Maybe pour the rice in to something?

Vinnie: Aha, I've got a clean pair of socks I can use.

Dianne: Socks? Really?

Vinnie: You got a better idea?

Dianne: Not really, go right ahead.

Dianne went ahead and ran off in to the forest. Vinnie followed closely behind with his socks. The both of them stopped at a decent distance away from camp.

Dianne: We better hurry. We don't want the others noticing we've been gone for too long.

Vinnie: I'll go as fast as I can.

Dianne opened the lid while Vinnie slowly poured the rice into his socks, keeping an eye out for a clue of some sort.

Vinnie: Come on...

This went on for a while now with over half the rice being emptied in to Vinnie's socks.

Dianne: Come on dude, I don't think it's in there.

Vinnie: No, I just gotta keep on trying.

Dianne: We've been out for a while, we should get back.

Before Vinnie decides to give up however, Gail shows up and sees the 2 of them.

Gail: Uh... what're you doing?

Things were silent between the 3 of them for a few seconds.

Dianne (confessional): And before we could do anything else, Gail walks in on us and I'm like "Oh crap, we're busted".

Vinnie: We're just measuring out the rice and seeing how much we have for each person over the next few days.

Gail. Using your socks?

Vinnie: Don't worry, they're clean.

Dianne: I mean, it's a lot of rice, we don't want to waste it so soon.

Gail: I guess that's true. Well hurry back, the others are getting suspicious of you guys.

Vinnie: Alright, just give us a couple of minutes.

Vinnie (confessional): This is not how I wanted my game to start. Now Gail is gonna tell everyone else that Dianne and I are this obvious pair and it's just... ugh, I'm so mad. And now I've got these rice infested socks now.

Gail then returned back to camp where the other 3 were waiting.

Andy: Did you find them?

Gail: Yeah, it was weird though.

Lauren: What happened?

Gail: They were pouring that jar of rice in to Vinnie's socks.

Lauren: What? Why?

Gail: They said they were measuring it or something? I dunno, I was confused by it myself.

Lauren: The hell? I mean, Dianne brought the rice back, you don't think they were looking for something, do you?

Gail: I don't know, I was more annoyed at the fact that they kept this from everyone else.

Andy: Yeah, it definitely sounds shady.

Zane: Did they eat any?

Gail: I dunno, I didn't get a good first glance.

Zane: Those 2 could very well be working together.

Gail: Well, Dianne has immunity. Do we have any problem voting off Vinnie first?

Andy: I don't. You guys cool with it?

Lauren: Yeah

The 4 then shook their hands before Dianne and Vinnie got back to camp.

KORNATI DAY 2

Everyone was out and about, doing chores around camp. Sarah was climbing trees while Luke was watching.

Luke: To your right, there's a bigger coconut.

Sarah reaches out and grabs it.

Sarah: You mean this one?

Luke: Yeah, that's great.

Luke (confessional): Our plan for today was to split off in to pairs to do different things around camp. The idea came from Curtis where he said that doing this stuff together will help gain team spirit. And right now, it's working. Sarah and I work well together, we've gathered quite a few coconuts for our tribe. It's going to be more than enough to fuel us for tomorrow.

Sarah: How many is that?

Luke: I think that's 8, awesome job.

Sarah: You too, let's bring this back to our tribe.

They both headed back to camp, carrying 4 coconuts each.

Sarah (confessional): I've worked as a fire fighter for around 4 years now. I do a lot just to keep in shape. One of those things is climbing trees. Not really the ideal form of exercise but it's something I enjoy doing. And having someone else on my tribe like Luke around really does help with what needs to get done around here.

They met up with Damian and Luke who were busy making a stake out of one of their spare pieces of wood.

Luke: Hey guys, what's up?

Curtis: We're just making a stake to help us catch some fish.

Damian: Yeah there are tons of those small ones swimming around the shallow side.

Sarah: Oh cool, anyway, we got some more coconuts.

Damian: Nice, where are the other two?

Luke: Yeah, they had the easiest job, to refill our canteens.

Sarah: I'll go look for them.

Luke: I wanna see if I can catch some fish for tonight. I want to make sure this tribe is as strong as it can be for tomorrow.

After Luke and Sarah went their separate ways, Curtis and Damian both looked at each other.

Damian: How's about I work on him, you work on her?

Curtis: Alright, sounds good to me.

They both went off. Damian met up with Luke down by the rockpools.

Damian: Any luck?

Luke: I've managed to catch a couple. They aren't too reactive.

Damian checked the pot and saw 3 small fish in there.

Damian: Wow, that's pretty impressive.

Luke: Thanks, anything for our tribe.

Damian: Seems like us 4 are doing the most work around here.

Luke: Those 2 just go off and talk to each other for long periods of time.

Damian: You've noticed that too?

Luke: Yeah. Makes me think they've got something going on.

Damian: We can have something too, you know?

Luke: You sure?

Damian: Yeah, us 2, Curtis and Sarah. The 4 hard workers. We keep this together, we can pretty much dominate in the challenges.

Luke: Right, but there's only 2 of them, what if we go on a losing streak?

Damian: Look, I've done the math. This whole 3 tribe dynamic ain't gonna last until the merge, which is usually at 9 or 10 people. We may find ourselves at different beaches.

Luke: Really? Guess I never thought of it that way.

Damian: *Laughs* dude, you've gotta get your head in the game.

Luke: Sorry, haven't really watched much of the show.

Damian: It's fine. Just stick with us and we'll make it through.

Damian (confessional): I don't know if Luke's just playing dumb or if he really hasn't watched much of the show. It is a great strategy, act like you don't know much in order to try and lower your threat level. But I don't think he's completely clueless so part of me just thinks that he doesn't have much knowledge.

Luke (confessional): Part of me was kinda playing up the act that I didn't know much but yeah, some of it's true. I didn't know that there could be a mix up, that I could end up going to a different beach. It's pretty embarrassing honestly.

Damian: So you in?

Luke: Sure, here's to hopefully dominating in the challenges.

The 2 high fived as Luke proceeded to catch more fish. Meanwhile, Sarah kept searching until she walked in on Moana and Rachel digging around the water well.

Sarah: What are you guys doing?

The 2 then looked up and it didn't take long for Sarah to receive a response.

Moana: Oh hey! We were actually meaning to look for you.

Rachel: We just didn't know how to come and get you without the guys getting suspicious or anything.

Sarah: Nah I get it. You looking for something?

Rachel: Something important.

Moana then got up and pulled out the clue. She then handed it to Sarah who read it.

Sarah: Whoa! There's an immunity idol here?

Moana: Yeah and it's important that the guys don't know that they even exist. We want to find it, use it and get the majority.

Rachel: And we want you to join us.

Sarah: Sure, where have you guys looked so far?

Moana: We tried out the rockpools earlier this morning while the guys were sleeping. Then we said we'd fill up the canteens but really we're trying to search under the water well.

Rachel: We've been searching for a while now. We don't think it's here. The only other place is that rainforest with that waterfall.

Sarah: That's quite a big area.

Moana: Yeah that's why I'm asking for you guys' help.

Rachel: And that's fine. Since you're the one who found the clue, you should just have the idol.

Moana: Thanks.

Sarah: Yeah that's fine with me. Let's get searching.

The girls then proceeded to jog to the rain forest, one behind the other.

Moana (confessional): Our goal for today is to find this immunity idol. With it in our possession, we can easily just use it to give ourselves the majority. But I don't really want to waste it that early. Working with Rachel and Sarah is just the beginning, I'm looking towards the endgame here. And if I can get that idol, it's the start of something really big.

All 3 then went and dived in.

Rachel: We should probably start with the rocks first.

Moana: Yeah, good call.

A short montage was shown of them moving rocks around.

Moana: I'm getting tired...

Rachel: Yeah me too... This is a lot of work.

Moana: How you doing Sarah?

They both turned and found Sarah completely underwater.

Moana: Wow, think we got the right person to help us out with this.

Rachel: I mean, did we really have a choice?

Moana: Fair point.

Sarah then resurfaced.

Sarah: Guys! I feel something! Help me get this rock back to shore!

Moana and Rachel both went over to where Sarah was and helped her carry the rock to the edge of the shore.

Sarah: You see that?

Moana: Yeah, it's some string.

Rachel then flipped the rock over and saw a package.

Rachel: Bingo!

Sarah: Yes!

Rachel: Care to do the honors? It's your clue.

Moana: Thanks.

Sarah (confessional): Part of me was debating if I should share this with them but the rock was so heavy that they'd notice instantly. So I went ahead and showed it to them. I hope this was the right move. Giving away immunity is almost never smart in Survivor.

Moana unwrapped the package which had a blue, circular necklace inside with 3 heads wearing crowns on it.

Moana: This is amazing.

She then unwrapped the note.

Moana: *Congratulations, you have found the hidden immunity idol"! Good job girls!

Moana (confessional): So not only did we manage to find something of value. We found out that they're also hidden amongst the other 2 beaches. So maybe when a swap hits, we can extend our alliance.

Rachel: Yeah thanks a lot for your help Sarah.

Sarah: Hey it's cool, I just hope we can all trust each other moving forward.

Rachel: Oh for sure.

Rachel (confessional): I'm not sure how this alliance with the girls is going to last, but right now they're useful to my game. So I'll stick with them until they become a liability to me.

Sarah was then on her way back and ran in to Curtis.

Curtis: Hey, you were gone for a while, what happened?

Sarah: It's fine, they just got lost on their way back.

Curtis: Ok cool. So I think us 4 need to stay together. Those 2 have got something.

Sarah: Yeah, fine with me.

Curtis: Ok cool, I just wanna keep this brief in case the girls are behind us or anything.

Sarah: Cool.

Sarah (confessional): So now I have a dilemma. I can either go with the girls who I know have my back, or I can go with the other 3 and get rid of that immunity idol that Moana has, but I'm also risking myself being at the bottom because I was probably the last person told of this. So, I'm not too sure what to do right now. I'm hoping we can win the immunity challenge so I won't have to worry about making that decision so early.

VORONA NIGHT 2

The Vorona tribe were all up, not being able to sleep without thinking about tomorrow.

Gail: We obviously want to be at our strongest for tomorrow.

Dianne: Agreed. What do you think we should do?

Vinnie: We got plenty of chickens, what say we have 1 of them.

Zane: Why? I think we're fine without having any extra food.

Vinnie: We want to make sure we win tomorrow. No one here wants to be the first one voted out.

Zane: Yeah but we have plenty of rice and fruit, why not just have some of that instead?

Vinnie: Why are you being so defensive? It's just 1 chicken. We eat chicken all the time.

Zane: Yeah you guys do, I'm vegan.

Dianne: Just because you don't want to eat the chicken, doesn't mean the rest of us shouldn't be allowed to.

Zane: This ain't just about me. I don't want us wasting so much food over one challenge.

Vinnie: So you're fine with us killing these things in say a couple days time?

Zane: Just watch, we're going to kill that immunity challenge and you'll all thank me.

Vinnie: And if we don't, you let us do it our way for the next time.

Zane: Pfft, if there is a next time.

Vinnie: Um, what is that supposed to mean?

Zane: You know what it's supposed to mean, I'm going to bed.

Zane then stormed off back inside.

Vinnie: What does he mean by that, guys?

Lauren: He's just mad, that's all. It's been a long day.

Lauren (confessional): We've tried so hard to keep the plan that we were going to vote Vinnie out quiet, and now Zane just blurts it out to him. I'm so annoyed right now. I don't know what we're going to do now. I hope we win tomorrow.

JUBURI DAY 3

Emily and Jayda were both on their way to collect tree mail with information on their first immunity challenge.

Jayda: I wonder how this is gonna work with 3 tribes.

Emily: I know. It's Survivor, anything can happen.

Jayda: Expect the unexpected.

They both opened the tree mail and saw 4 circles, all attached together vertically.

Emily: Wonder what this is, looks cool though.

They both got back to camp.

Jayda: Hey guys! Tree mail!

After a few minutes, everyone gathered around the shelter and Brendan was given the note.

Brendan: "A cart awaits to be pulled away, 2 of you are already guaranteed to stay, for 2 tribes, immunity is behind the door, for 1 tribe, a vote where one of you won't see Day 4."

Kate: Oh cool, so 2 of us get immunity.

Brendan: That's slightly more reassuring.

Emily (confessional): After finding out that 2 tribes will be getting immunity for these first few challenges, that makes things more scary. Because if we lose, then we have less room to hide.

IMMUNITY CHALLENGE DAY 3

It was now time for the first immunity challenge of the season. There were 3 separate carts shown, each with the tribe colors. There were also puzzle pieces in front of each cart on the tribe mats. The camera zoomed across, to the left where there were stages, each with a giant wheel.

Jeff: Come on in guys!

One by one, each of the tribes proceeded and got their first look at the challenge. They then reached their tribe mats and set their flags and things down before turning to Jeff.

Jeff: So, here we are. Our first immunity challenge. Kenny, how was camp after you returned from the temple of secrets?

Kenny: It was nice getting the chance to catch up with everyone.

Jayda: He actually proved to be a really huge asset. He came back with all this extra wood and got to work building stuff with it and also just being a hard worker in general.

Kenny: I just felt I owed it to them.

Jeff: Dianne, how about you. Have you been working hard around camp?

Dianne: I wouldn't say I was working hard. I was taking my time, trying to get used to my surroundings as to where I could be spending the next few days with and who I'll be spending them with.

Jeff: Rachel, how much of an advantage was it that all 6 of your tribe members were there from the get-go, did it help with camp life?

Rachel: Oh you have no idea. We got our shelter well put together, Luke's managed to catch a couple of fish which was pretty cool. We've managed to have a full 3 courses a day.

Damian: To be honest, it's just felt like we've gained weight during these first couple of days and our tribe can't wait to go out there and kick some butt.

The other tribes rolled their eyes at this.

Jeff: Seems you guys are eager for the challenge, let's get to it. Here's how it's going to work. On my go, you must race to assemble 4 wheels and place them on your cart. You must then push your cart through a series of obstacles. When you reach the sand pit, you must dig up a bundle of planks. You'll use those planks to fill in gaps in the bridge. Push your cart over your bridge, to the finish platform. Once there, you must then take your wheels off of your cart and use them to complete a turnstile. Finally, you will spin the turnstile to raise a fire wok, lighting the top of the platform. The first 2 tribes to finish, wins.

Jeff then brought out the covered idol.

Jeff: This is what you covet in this game.

He unveiled both the idols. One of them was a mini version of the King Tomislov statue with a couple people recognizing it instantly. He was shown to be on a horse. Both were in armor

Jeff: Now, this idol has 2 pieces. The knight, and it's horse.

Jeff then took the knight off the horse to demonstrate.

Jeff: Each piece grants immunity. First 2 tribes to finish, win a piece of the idol. This is important because with immunity in your tribe's possession, you cannot go to tribal council, you cannot be voted out of this game. Alright, I'll give you a minute to strategize, and we'll get started.

All tribes were now shown next to their carts with 2 people in the carts for each tribe. It was Moana and Luke for Kornati, Andy and Dianne for Vorona and Nigel and Emily for Juburi. Everyone else was left to do the puzzle.

Jeff: Here we go, the first challenge of Survivor: Croatia. For immunity. Survivors ready? Go!

The 4 members from each team not on the cart all ran out to the disassembled wheels where they first had to untie them.

Jeff: You have to assemble the 4 wheels, then put them on your cart.

Everyone had their pieces untied and already got to work. Already Juburi got their first wheel together. Kornati then had theirs a few seconds later. Both teams quickly got done their second ones.

Jeff: Right out the gate, Kornati and Juburi both with their first 2 wheels. Vorona taking a little more time.

Zane then started to panic, not putting the wheels in the right places.

Vinnie: Just let me do it.

Zane: Fine.

Kornati and Juburi both then managed to get the rest of their wheels done.

Jeff: Both Kornati and Juburi have their wheels. Vorona having no luck with their wheels.

As Vorona started to finally get their wheels together, Kornati and Juburi had their carts together and were preparing to take off.

Dianne: Come on guys! Their pulling ahead!

Kenny and Curtis both went ahead and pulled the ropes in front of their carts which got them moving.

Nigel: Mush! Mush!

Luke: Awesome job guys!

Jeff: The 2 leading tribes are now off! Vorona, you guys need to hurry!

Vorona got their first 2 wheels done but were struggling on their last 2.

Kornati meanwhile was moving faster than Juburi where Kenny was getting tired.

Brendan: C'mon dude, you got it, push through! They're still behind us!

Kornati then arrived at the barricade first and tried to plow through it. Curtis and Damian then tried to tear it up by hand. Vorona meanwhile finally had their wheels done.

Jeff: Vorona finally done with their wheels! Kornati working through the obstacle! Curtis and Damian tearing it up!

Juburi finally arrived right behind them and went to work as Brendan and Jayda both tried to clear the path for their cart.

Curtis then whipped through the last row but intentionally left some in the way for the other 2 tribes.

Jeff: Kornati are now through the obstacle! Juburi still trying to catch up! Vorona now has their cart prepared!

Vinnie and Zane both had their ropes wrapped around their bodies as they pulled the cart which started to move at a rapid pace.

Jeff: Vorona now making their way across the course! They are back in this!

Right after he said that, Zane, who wasn't looking where he was going, accidentally guided the cart to hit a nearby tree, knocking Andy and Dianne off it and Lauren to run in to it, hitting her stomach.

Jeff: An absolute wipeout for Vorona! Lauren you okay?

Lauren: I'm fine!

Vinnie: Watch where you're going!

Zane: I'm sorry!

They tried their best to get their cart back on track. Juburi had already passed the barricade and were catching up to Kornati.

Jeff: Juburi now across the obstacle!

Kornati meanwhile were the first to reach the sand pit. Rachel and Curtis both ran out to dig for the planks.

Jeff: Kornati, still with a good sized lead! They are now digging up the planks!

Juburi then followed a few seconds after. Brendan and Kenny now running to dig.

Jeff: Juburi now at the sand pit!

Curtis then found the planks and tried to lift them. Rachel then rushed to help him.

Jeff: Curtis has the planks for Kornati! Gotta untie em.

Vorona then raced through the already cleared barricade and to the sand pit.

Jeff: Vorona now making up some more ground, they're back in it!

Lauren and Vinnie were the ones digging, meanwhile Juburi had now found their planks but were struggling to get them out.

Jeff: Kenny and Brendan both have their planks for Juburi but are struggling to get them out! This could be Vorona's chance to catch up!

The Kornati tribe were now taking their time with the planks on the bridge, knowing that they have a decent sized lead.

Jeff: Kornati very much in control at this point! Taking their time with the planks and building their bridge.

Lauren: *groans* Come on...

Jeff: Lauren trying to pull those planks out all by herself. Seems difficult but it's working!

Juburi finally got their planks out and started to assemble. After finishing their bridge, Kornati began to pull their cart towards and up it.

Jeff: Kornati first over the bridge!

Lauren: I got it!

Vinnie: Nice job!

Jeff: Vorona now have their planks. Juburi still working on assembling their bridge. Vorona is catching up. Remember, 2 tribes get immunity! It doesn't matter when you finish as long as it's not last!

Juburi now got their planks in order and scrambled to stay ahead of Vorona.

Jeff: Juburi now has their bridge. Vorona now starting to fall behind again!

Kornati then stayed consistent and now arrived at the big wheel.

Jeff: Kornati has lead this challenge from the beginning, they are now the first to start working on that last puzzle!

Sarah: One in each place!

Damian: Right!

Jeff: Kornati now trying to get their wheels off! Juburi now across the bridge! Vorona almost there!

Juburi now reached their wheel. Vorona trying to get across.

Jeff: Juburi now at their wheel! Gotta finish the turnstile and raise that wok to get immunity!

Vorona was now across and made it to the turnstile quickly. They went ahead and got their wheels off.

Jeff: All 3 tribes are now working on the puzzle! It's anyone's game at this point!

Kornati were quickly getting their wheels together.

Jeff: Kornati getting closer.

Sarah: Come on! We got this!

Jeff: Both the other tribes now starting to feel the pressure!

Kate: Come on guys! Stay focused!

Kornati then completed their turnstile and waited for Jeff's signal.

Jeff: Kornati now have their turnstile complete! Start spinning!

All 6 members then got together and started running around the turnstile, holding a handle to raise the wok.

Jeff: They've now gotta raise the wok to the top of the platform!

Juburi was now starting to gain ground while Vorona was starting to slow down thanks to Zane getting frazzled.

Jeff: Vorona now falling out of it. Zane completely clueless!

Zane: I cant tell if this is right!

Vinnie: Of course it's right! It only goes one way!

Kornati neared the stop as they started to celebrate.

Jeff: Kornati is getting closer to the top...

And they all watched as their platform got lit.

Jeff: Kornati wins immunity!

All 6 members were all high fiving each other and hugged as they stood by to see who else was going to finish.

Jeff: We're looking for one more! Keep working! Both tribes have made some progress on their puzzle.

Dianne: Check that one! See if that works!

Jeff: Dianne doing a good job at keeping Vorona on track!

Juburi then got more of their pieces together and only had a couple more.

Jeff: Juburi close to finishing their puzzle!

Vorona was trying to catch up while Juburi had their puzzle done and went to work on spinning the turnstile.

Jeff: Juburi has their puzzle completed! They're starting to raise their wok! That's gonna do it!

Vorona tried to keep up but saw that it wasn't worth it and saw Juburi's platform, as well as their shot at immunity, go up in flames.

Jeff: Juburi wins immunity!

Juburi was less pleased and more relieved at the fact that they managed to stay safe from tribal council, especially the ones who felt they were on the outs. Jeff then took the Knight off the horse and walked to Kornati.

Jeff: Kornati, great job. You talked the talk and stayed ahead for most of that challenge. As a result, you get immunity!

Damian raised the knight high after he received it and his tribe shared a group hug.

Jeff: Juburi, nice work, you guys are safe from tribal council, no one going home from your tribe either.

They received the statue of the horse which they were also pleased about. Vorona were all sad and frustrated at the loss.

Jeff: Vorona, you know what's coming. Tonight, you're heading to tribal council where one of you, other than Dianne, will get the distinction of being the first person voted out of Survivor: Croatia. You will have the afternoon to find out who that's going to be.

The yellow tribe all nodded their heads at this.

Jeff: Alright, everyone gather your things and head back to camp.

All 18 survivors gathered their belongings and headed back to their camps.

VORONA DAY 3

The tribe returned to their camp, disappointed at their early loss.

Lauren: Tough luck guys. There are more challenges we can beat them at so let's not let it get to us too much.

Vinnie: Thanks, you kicked butt in that part.

Lauren: Thanks. But hey, we win as a team, we lose as a team.

Gail: Damn straight.

Gail (confessional): We lost todays challenge so it's tribal council for us. Respect to the other 2 tribes, they did a great job out there, they just had more heart than us.

Zane: I'm just going to go and lay down for a bit.

Dianne: Fair enough dude.

As soon as Zane left the group, the others wasted no time in getting down to business.

Vinnie: I mean, there's no question as to who should be leaving tonight.

Gail: After that performance? Definitely.

Dianne: He's just going to be a giant liability for us moving forward. I mean, we have to win, we don't want to be down in numbers here.

Gail: True. Well, my votes decided.

Lauren (confessional): Originally, me and Gail as well as Andy and Zane all came up with this plan to blindside Vinnie if we lose. But then we're reminded of why Zane leaving is just better for the tribe in general. I mean, there's him being overprotective over the chickens, him taking charge on the first day, and then there's today in the challenge where he not only fumbled on both the puzzles but also for guiding our tribe's cart down to that tree.

Gail (confessional): Yeah, no doubt about it, i'm writing Zane's name down tonight. I know he was a number for me and Lauren but he's also the weakest link. And anyways, even if he does leave, me, Gail and Andy can still have the numbers to take out those 2 down the line, so really, it's not a terrible situation for my game.

Andy walked in on Zane talking to the chickens.

Zane: Sorry guys, I really did try.

Andy: Hey, I just want to let you know that the tribe is planning on voting you out tonight.

Zane: Thought so, I did everything bad that you can do in this game to get your whole tribe voting for you.

Andy: Hey, I said the tribe was. I never said I specifically was going to vote you off.

Zane: Like it'll matter. 4's still the majority. But thanks for telling me anyway. I'd never vote you off either.

Zane (confessional): I guess I just give in under pressure way too easily. I mean these people expect me to be built like a house. Just because I gave up smoking, don't mean I'm strong. I mean seriously. And I tried to save those chickens as best as I could, I didn't want them to get slaughtered or anything. I love animals! But hey, maybe I deserve it.

Zane then walked off, with his final words sticking in Andy's mind.

Andy (confessional): Tonight's vote may seem easy, but the easy vote is never always the smart vote in Survivor. And after thinking about it for a while, I actually like Zane and if it came down to who I think would get rid of me sooner, I think he'd keep me around a lot longer than some other people on our tribe. Who am I talking about specifically? Well, Gail.

Gail was shown laughing with Lauren over a joke they made.

Andy (confessional): I really don't trust her, at all. At first, she wanted to vote out Zane because he was being bossy, then she told us about Vinnie and the whole rice incident and proposed we vote him off instead, now the challenge ends and she's back to wanting to voting off Zane without any discussion about it. She changes her mind more than I change jobs.

Andy was then shown getting up and going off to look for Vinnie and Dianne.

Andy (confessional): Ok, Zane might be an idiot, but he's my idiot. I want to keep him around to guarantee a number for me and a shield for me. So what I want to do is that I'm going to expose what Gail said to Vinnie in hopes that him and Dianne may think about switching their votes.

Vinnie and Dianne were then shown to be talking.

Vinnie: I am so relieved that the target is off of us.

Dianne: I know, I am too. But let's think about after this vote. It'll be us against Gail and Lauren. We'll need Andy on our side.

Vinnie: Yeah, we'll need to talk to him beforehand to make sure that happens.

Dianne: Wait, that him?

Both of them looked over to see Andy approaching him.

Vinnie: That's him.

Andy: Hey guys! What's going on?

Dianne: Not much. We were just talking about the future, you know? After Zane leaves?

Andy: Right, that's actually what I wanted to talk to you guys about.

Vinnie: What do you mean?

Andy: It's probably worth telling you that there are other people that are worth getting rid of around here, for me, it's Gail.

Vinnie: Gail? What has she done?

Andy: If you guys don't mind me asking, did she just so happen to walk in on you guys pouring rice out in to socks or something?

The two of them looked at each other in disbelief before turning back to Andy.

Dianne: She actually told you?

Andy: Yeah, she made it seem like you guys were looking for something. She was also the one that proposed the idea of blindsiding you.

Vinnie: Really?

Dianne: Wow

Vinnie (confessional): I am completely shocked. It seems impossible that Andy would lie about this, how else would he have known?

Andy: So, we can still get rid of Zane, but I don't think it's the best thing for us moving forward.

Dianne: Yeah, I agree. She is the brains while Lauren is the brawn. We need Lauren for challenges, Gail has been playing both sides in order to keep those 2 safe.

Vinnie: She is smart, so smart, it's scary.

Dianne: Us 3 have to stick together here. For all we know, those 2 could be talking to Zane about this.

Andy: It is a possibility. Well look, how's about this? If you guys agree on voting with me to get her out, I will stick with you guys and us 3 will have the majority.

Vinnie: I could see that working out for us.

Dianne: Me too. I'm still on the fence though. With Zane around, there's no way we'd be able to win challenges or get that much done around camp.

Andy: I'll leave you guys to think about it. The offers on the table.

Vinnie: Thanks for telling us this.

Dianne: Yeah, thanks.

After Andy left. The other 2 were left completely conflicted.

Vinnie: Great, now what do we do?

Dianne: If Zane leaves, Lauren and Gail have no one to go after other than us. And Andy may feel obligated to go with them since we went against what he wanted.

Vinnie: There is a reason he came to us, he trusts us.

Dianne: But what if he could be playing both sides.

Vinnie then covered his face in his hands.

Vinnie: Why is this so difficult.

Dianne (confessional): We are only a few moments from heading to tribal council and after what Andy told us, it's getting us to second guess voting out Zane. Gail does seem to be the bigger threat here. She's tight with Lauren and she's good at persuading people to do what she wants. But this means having to put up with Zane who has just been the biggest pain in this tribe.

Dianne: Either way, this is gonna end up changing our games here.

Andy then met up with Zane.

Andy: So listen, I think I've found a way in which you can stay.

Zane: Don't pull my leg.

Andy: No, I'm dead serious. Tonight, I need you to write Gail's name down. I'll do the same.

Zane: You sure we can't vote for Vinnie here?

Andy: No, he's debating on keeping you around.

Zane: Alright.

Zane (confessional): So I was on my way off the island, pretty much accepting my fate here. But now a few minutes have passed, all of a sudden I'm staying and I haven't even done a damn thing about it. I knew there was a reason why I wanted to play this game, I just needed a reminder on what that reason was.

Andy: We can go after those 2 later, right now we need to focus on splitting up the bigger threats.

Zane: I see where you're coming from.

Andy: Ok, good. We're still in this, man.

The 2 then fist bumped. Lauren and Gail meanwhile were relaxing together. Gail started to feel uneasy.

Lauren: You doing okay?

Gail: I dunno, I just have this feeling

Lauren: Feeling of what?

Gail: Something just feels off about all this.

Lauren: You think they're conspiring against us?

Gail: I don't know. I guess I just want to make sure it ain't us who's leaving.

Lauren: I guess that's fair. Zane probably feels like he's leaving. I'd say just in case he tries to vote for us, we should tell him that we're still voting for Vinnie.

Gail: I just hope we ain't too late or anything.

The 2 of them got up from where they were laying and went off to look for Zane. They came across him talking to Andy and approached them.

Andy: Hey

Lauren: You guys good?

Andy: I am. I guess I was just surprised that it took you guys this long to come and talk to us.

Gail: We just didn't want to give them the impression that we're still 4 solid. Those 2 still think we're voting for you.

Zane: Right...

Lauren: And here's another thing too, this whole temple of secrets thing. It kinda bothers me. I don't think Dianne would be sent there just for some rice.

Andy: You think there's something more to it?

Lauren: Whatever it is, her and Vinnie both know about it. For all we know, it could be one of those immunity idols that were on Exile Island last time.

Gail: If we let those 2 get far with that, they're going to be impossible to beat.

Zane: That is true.

Lauren (confessional): My pitch to make sure that those 2 are still on for voting Vinnie is that this twist could be anything. And why should the person immune, Dianne in this case, have all that power?

Zane: Our best bet is to vote off her right hand man and her right after.

Andy: I just hope we're all on the same page here.

Zane (confessional): Lauren does bring up a lot of solid points. Last time, people weren't that bothered around the benefits of Exile Island. Do we really want to let that happen this season too? I don't think I want to take that risk.

Lauren: We can just hope it can be smooth sailing from here and our tribe will be more drama free.

Gail: I agree, we got more days out here, we don't want to spend them being as more drained as we already are.

Andy: Sounds good, thanks for the talk.

The 2 girls both nodded their heads and headed off to where they were.

Zane: Do we actually believe them?

Andy: I don't know. This whole 3 duos trying to end up in the majority is just hectic for me to handle.

Zane: Same here man. And I still don't want to kill those chickens so voting him off may prevent that.

Andy: Right, that too.

The sun was starting to set as everyone gathered their things and started the long hike to tribal council.

Vinnie (confessional): This is only the first council of the season and already there are so many moving parts in the Vorona tribe that no one knows what's going to happen or who ends up going home and how it'll effect the rest of our games. It's a lot to take in and I'm pretty nervous.

Andy (confessional): There are 3 people who seem like the most eligible to leave the game tonight. And even though my name hasn't been coming up, this is still anyone's guess. So whoever goes tonight could decide and set the stage for how the rest of this season is going to be played.

TRIBAL COUNCIL NIGHT 3

The Vorona tribe all made their way down to the tribal council area which was this jungle like area with a couple of cabins, decorated with Vines and tiki heads. They all entered the area and set their stuff down.

Jeff: Behind each of you is a torch, go ahead and grab one, approach the flame, dip it in and get fire.

All 6 of them followed Jeff's instructions as they each grabbed a torch and dipped it in the flame.

Jeff: This is part of the ritual at tribal council because in this game, fire represents your life. As long as you have fire, you are still in the game however once it is gone, so are you.

As soon as they're torches got lit, they then placed it where they got it and all sat down in front of the flame.

Jeff: Alright, welcome to tribal council. In a few moments, someone from this tribe is about to get voted out of the game, causing their adventure to come to an end. The only person that won't have to worry about that is Dianne as she decided to go for the idol on the first day. Dianne, do you think that decision worked out for you?

Dianne: I think it did. As much as I wanted to help out this tribe, I had to put my own best interests first. And now multiple people are approaching me about who to vote off.

Vinnie: She also got the tribe some more rice and proved that she is good when it comes to challenges so even if she didn't have immunity, I don't think she would have gone home in any scenario.

Jeff: Lauren, what do you think about having 3 tribes start off in this season?

Lauren: I was actually pretty mixed at first because while your chances of winning immunity and not being voted off are significantly higher, when you do lose then you realize that you have a 1 in 5 chance of being the first person voted out. And I think all 5 of us are feeling the pressure right now, not wanting our adventure to end only 3 days in to this thing.

Jeff: Andy, talk to me about camp life. Did you manage to make good use out of what you got from that marooning?

Andy: For the most part yeah, we got some use out of it. We got a pretty decent shelter set up and we still have some fruit left over.

Vinnie: There were some things that were "off limits" however.

Jeff: What do you mean?

Vinnie: Last night, we thought about maybe eating one of the chickens to get our strength up for the immunity challenge. Zane on the other hand, he didn't want us to because it went against his morals and beliefs.

Zane: Look, I just didn't think it was right to kill a living thing just for our own benefit. We have plenty of fruit around here anyway.

Jeff: But Zane, you have to understand that this was what you signed up for.

Zane: Right and I get that, it's just I wish these people got to see the situation from my point of view.

Dianne: And yeah, we do get it from your point of view but you also have to take in to account that there are 5 starving people on this tribe. Had you have actually let us eat what we want then maybe we could have actually won today.

Jeff: Zane, any regrets?

Zane: Yeah, maybe I should have just gotten off my high horse and let them do their thing. It was a selfish act and I do apologize to the people on my tribe that were nice and understanding of the whole thing.

Vinnie: So you're not apologizing to all of us?

Zane: No, I'll apologize to all of you when the chickens actually help us win next time.

Gail: Yeah, if there is a next time.

Zane: Pfft, okay.

Gail: No, I'm serious. One of us five are leaving tonight, that could be you. And after the way you were acting, I honestly don't see why not.

Jeff: Wow, Lauren was there always this much tension back at camp.

Lauren: At times yeah. We do try to not let it get the better of us but what can I say? This game is hard.

Jeff: Speaking of which, Gail, what is your take on the whole temple of secrets twist? Knowing that it'll take place through out the whole season?

Gail: I personally don't have any problems with it, we did get more rice out of it which was nice.

Zane was confused at this, surprised at how calm Gail was.

Jeff: Zane, your face right now, very confused like.

Zane: This is completely contradictory to what I was told.

Gail's eyes widened and was now starting to get cold feet.

Jeff: What were you told?

Zane: We were told that Vinnie and Dianne had went ahead and was pouring that rice in to Vinnie's socks for whatever reason. She was making it seem like Dianne had gotten more out from the temple than just the rice. And then she was the one who proposed that all 4 of us were going to vote for Vinnie to blindside him.

Vinnie tried to act shocked at this.

Vinnie: This true?

Gail: Look, it was nothing major, I just thought it was odd that you were going off from the rest of the tribe to do it, that's all. But no way in hell did I mention that there was something else involved.

Zane: Beep beep, my lie detectors going off now, Jeff.

Jeff couldn't help but giggle at this display of events.

Dianne: We only went away because we didn't want the sight to disturb you guys.

Zane: Yet you were fine with just chopping a chickens head off in front of us? What kind of sense does that make?

Vinnie: We were just measuring out the rice so we could plan on how much we should have. And anyway, the socks were clean.

Andy: If the socks were clean then why would we be disturbed?

Vinnie: Oh my God, dude.

Andy: So Jeff, I think it's easy to understand why we're all so tense.

Jeff: Zane, any other reasons the tribe would have to vote you off?

Zane: I guess. I mean I did mess up a lot in that challenge. What with the puzzles and the steering of that cart. I guess there's also the fact that I was trying to take charge of things around camp which I thought was going to help our tribe but surprise, it didn't.

Jeff: Lauren, did you pick up on Zane trying to take charge of things as he says?

Lauren: Uh, he did come off a little strong and abrasive very quickly. And that's no secret to the rest of us, we all know he messed up.

Zane: And I'll take full ownership of that. And to be honest, I won't be completely shocked if I wasn't voted out tonight.

Jeff: How disappointed would you be?

Zane: Oh, very disappointed. I've wanted to play this game for a while now and having it end like this? That'll be something I'll have trouble getting over for a long time. But at the same time, that disappointment will be for myself, not my tribe.

Jeff: Andy, did you feel like he came off a little strong?

Andy: A little yeah. But I don't think I took issue with it as much as everyone else did. In fact, I was fine with it because he did help us get fire in less than an hour. And as you've said before, fire represents our lives. If we don't have Zane around to help out with the fire, then our tribe's kind of at risk.

Jeff: Vinnie, you agree with that?

Vinnie: Yeah, he did give us the right technique on how to make that fire. But I also think that we could still handle ourselves as a tribe without Zane around.

Jeff: Right, well talk about the challenge. It seemed like Kornati and Juburi were both working well as a tribe. You guys, not so much. So how do you navigate where the center of all that conflict is?

Dianne: Probably who's causing the conflict. In that case, yeah, it was Zane. But there are many more challenges to come so we don't know if we're getting rid of the right person because they could come in handy in terms of keeping the rest of us from coming back here.

Jeff: Vinnie, Dianne brings up a good point. Your thinking about how you guys can come back from this and show the other tribes that you can compete against them.

Vinnie: Yeah, and that's another thing. I hate losing. I am an incredibly competitive person in my personal life and I just wanted us to win that challenge so we know that we can do it so it would bring up our moral as a tribe.

Jeff: Zane, do you think you would be a good asset in future challenges?

Zane: Depends. I mean, I made sure I let everyone know that I quit smoking a couple weeks ago. And just because I look built, doesn't mean I am built. I'm still trying to recover from those aspects of my life. I know that it was mainly my fault that we lost today. Being the first tribe to lose in this game is never fun. It is what it is though.

Jeff: Gail, is there always responsibility of how you perform in a challenge?

Gail: Yeah absolutely. I mean anyone can say that they're a body builder that can pull 200 pounds of weight behind them, and when you lose, that finger can always be pointed at you. But you could turn that around and say that we lost as a tribe. It's a scary thing but it always has been a staple of this game.

Jeff: So with that being said, Lauren, what are you basing your vote on tonight?

Lauren: I'm basing my vote on how we can be more unified and perform better in the future. Because this may not be our only visit if I make the wrong call tonight.

Jeff: And what odds do you give yourself that you will be here after tonight's vote.

Lauren: I'd say around 60%. I've proven to be a work horse in challenges and in camp and that I'm easy to get along with other than some of these people, but the way I have been associated with other people, it may come back to bite me.

Jeff: Alright, let's get to the vote. You cannot vote for Dianne, everyone else is fair game. It is time to vote, Andy, your up.

Andy got up from where he was sitting and headed towards the voting urn. He took a moment to relish the area he was in before casting his vote. Gail was up next as she voted for Zane.

Gail: You are a coward that cannot keep their mouth shut. I hope to god that you go home tonight.

She then folded the parchement and put it inside the urn. Vinnie was up next as he was still undecided on what to do. Shots were shown of both Gail and Zane just sitting there, both with nervous looks on their face.

Vinnie: This is just because I can't trust you and I need to have loyal people in this game.

Lauren was up next. She sighed as she had no idea how this vote was going to turn out. Zane was next as he voted for Gail.

Zane: You stirred up a lot of drama in these last couple of days. I'm not ready to go home tonight so I hope it's you.

Last up was Dianne who was also conflicted. She made her decision as she sat back down in her stump.

Jeff: I'll go tally the votes.

He headed off, shots of Gail, Zane and Vinnie were all shown, none of them certain on what was going to happen. Jeff then returned with the votes.

Jeff: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

All 6 of them watched as he pulled out the first vote.

Jeff: First vote, Zane.

Zane sighed at this, but tried to keep a straight face.

Jeff: Gail.

Gail: Damn...

Gail sighed at this, knowing who that vote was from.

Jeff: Zane. That's 2 votes Zane, 1 vote Gail.

Andy looked over at Vinnie and Dianne, who kept looking forward.

Jeff: Gail. We're tied, 2 votes Zane, 2 votes Gail. 2 votes left.

Vinnie and Dianne looked at each other, both uneasy about their decision as Jeff pulled out the next vote.

Jeff: Gail.

Gail was left completely shocked by this.

Jeff: That's 3 votes Gail, 2 votes Zane, 1 vote left.

Lauren: Wow.

Gail: I can't believe this...

Jeff: 1st person voted out of Survivor Croatia, Gail. Need to bring me your torch.

Gail: Good luck.

Lauren: Thanks.

Zane looked up and breathed a sigh of relief.

Gail: Nice one guys, really.

She gathered her things and got up. She fetched her torch and presented it in front of Jeff.

Jeff: Gail, the tribe has spoken.

Gail: Yes they have...

After her torch got put out, Gail left without a second glance at her tribe. She made her way out of the area, cursing her way out.

Jeff: Well the good news is, you survived your first tribal council. The bad news is, you're already down to 5 people left. Only time will tell if you've made the right decision. Grab your stuff, head back to camp. Goodnight.

Everyone left all got up with their torches and belongings in hand. The credits then began rolling as they headed back to camp.

Jeff: Next time on Survivor!

Vorona is sitting together around camp.

Jeff: Lauren finds herself in trouble.

Lauren (confessional): Everyone who I originally thought were at each others throats are now all one big happy family, and I could easily go home next.

Jeff: A reward challenge with big stakes.

Jeff: The winning tribe gets to pick who goes to the temple of secrets for the night.

Everyone was stunned at this.

Jeff: Sarah finds herself in a tricky spot.

Sarah (confessional): I am nervous as all hell.

Curtis (confessional): I'm not sure if she's as loyal as she says she is.

Jeff: And someone on Juburi finds out how real this game is.

Emily: Maybe I'm just not cut out for this game.

Final Words.

Gail: I have probably just received the biggest punch in the gut of my life. I thought I had this game all figured out, I thought I'd be able to slip under the radar and make it through.

Dianne's vote: You are way too smart for your own good and I just can't trust you.

Gail: Even though it was only 3 days, I still had a ton of fun with the time that I did have out here. I was just unfortunate enough to wind up on a tribe with 5 better players. That's a pretty crappy feeling to have.

18th place: Gail

I'd say this first episode came out pretty good. The first episode is always the hardest to write for me because I have to basically introduce everyone and everything and set up how things may go for the rest of the season. But I managed to get through it so I don't think the rest of the season will be as difficult to write. Could be wrong though. And then there's the whole thing with me balancing out the strategy, physical and character moments all in one which I hope I did good on doing. I also took the liberty of researching some Croatian culture to include in the season because I think that would have been cool. Such as the symbols on the immunity idols being from the coat of arms and the tribal immunity idol being the statue of King Tomislov. I'm hoping I can include more of this culture in to this season, make it kinda like Pearl Islands.

But yeah, this episode was fun to write. The whole 3 tribe dynamic is something I have wanted to do for a while now. And I didn't want it to just be another brain, brawn and beauty season because coming up with an original cast for that was something I just wasn't going to be able to do. I don't really feel like doing any of these "character theme" seasons as I want to have more freedom with who I put in what season and tribe. And people can argue that I did that for Panama with the whole gender and age difference but that was only for 1 episode and didn't have as much of an effect. Plus I had to have a way to make the cast more diverse in terms of how old they were and stuff like that. And don't worry, I promise the temple of secrets will be more fun than all of those advantage stacked islands like Ghost Island or IOI.

It feels good to be back and writing about this stuff. I did just give up on the interviews because I just wasn't having fun with those (I mean come on, I was out of my damn mind to think that I could do 18 of those things) and thought instead just to make sure everyone had a proper introduction with this season. So that's why I decided to delete them. But anyways, hope ya'll enjoyed this one. I can't promise I'll have the next episode up sooner but I'll try my best. Until next time, see you whenever!
