Olivia Benson was keeping a secret from her squad. She has a little sister that she has protected her entire life. Isabella Caitlyn Benson was her half-sister. She was five years younger than Olivia. Their mother had wanted another child, but couldn't be intimate with a man, so she had been artificially inseminated. You would figure that their mother would be able to love a child that she wanted, but that wasn't the case. Olivia was more of a mother towards Bella than Serena Benson had been. The reason why no one knew about Bella was that Olivia wanted to protect her from her line of work and from the perps that had made threats against her. Aside from that, Bella is a model and works in the Fashion Industry over in Italy. But what Olivia didn't know was that her little sister was coming home as she retired from modeling.
Bella had been a model from the time she was eighteen. That was how she paid for college. But after ten to fifteen years, Bella had everything she could ever need or want. She had degrees in Fashion, Finance, and Business. Bella wanted to open a store with a workshop, as she designed clothing and many other items. Bella loved modeling, but she wanted to do something different. But there was another reason why she was going home. For the last six months, Bella was being stalked. She knew who he was also. His name was James Hunter. Bella went on one date with him, but he creeped her out so bad that she cut the date short. For the last six months, James has been sending her countless letters and photographs. The photos consisted of pictures of her when she was out running errands, of her getting undressed, he had photoshopped himself into the pictures making them look like they had been dating, but the most distressing were the pictures of her in the shower.
Bella knew that Olivia and her squad could help her, so she was heading home. She hasn't told her sister about what has been going on. She was worried about how she knew Olivia would react. Her big sister was overprotective. When Bella arrived at JKF, she had her car service take her and her security guards, retired detectives, John Hawkins and Elliot Stabler to Manhattan Special Victims Unit. Elliot had known who she was upon sight because Bella looked so much like Olivia.
Bella knew Elliot and John's families, but sadly, Elliot and Kathy were divorced. Though, they were still good friends. They would always love each other, but they were never meant to be. And Bella was willing to wager that Elliot was in love with Olivia. Lord knows that Olivia herself was in love with Elliot. Bella knew that seeing Elliot for the first time in two years was going to be difficult for Olivia, but Bella needed her. She knew that James was going to find her and hurt her or die trying.
When Olivia went home that evening, she never expected to see her sister waiting for her outside her door with two former detectives that she knew quite well. Elliot, she would never forget. She has been in love with him since they first started working together. When he left without saying goodbye, that hurt worse than all the crap he put her through on the job.
"Bella, what are you doing here?" she asked, hugging her little sister close. "I need to tell you something, and you're not going to like it," she said as they all stepped inside Olivia's apartment. "What happened?" Olivia asked scared. She knew from the tone of her little sister's voice that something happened, and scared her more than anything.
"I'm beinging stalked. I went on a date with this guy, and he creeped me out so bad that I left in the middle of the date. I cut it short. For the past six months, this guy has been following me, sending letters, photoshopping pictures of himself with me on dates, but the worse are the pictures he somehow got of me when I was in the shower. I don't know what to do. Elliot and John convinced me to come tell you what was going on," Bella explained, and Olivia has never been so angry.
"What's the bastard's name?" she asked, her eyes flashing in protective rage at the thought of anything happening to her baby sister. "He said his name was James Hunter. I don't know if that is who he truly is, though," Bella said. "I'm going to protect you, little sister," Olivia said, when she saw the fear in Bella's eyes. She has never been this scared, not even after her former boyfriend tried to attack her. Thankfully, Bella knew how to defend herself, and got away, and was able to put that bastard behind bars. Olivia couldn't be happier that her sister was so strong. It took a lot of courage to come to Olivia when something like this happens.
You see, most people assume that models are loose, and gave it up easily. But Bella was never like that. She held onto her virginity until she met a great guy. The relationship didn't work out, but they were still best friends. Bella waited until she knew she could trust the guy before anything happened. Bella was one of those people who knew what was right for her, and fought for it. Furthermore, Bella and Olivia were the picture of strength and courage.
It took a little while longer to convince Bella to come down to the station with everything that Hunter had sent her, so it could be processed for prints. Bella was strong, but it still took a lot out of her to tell her story one or two times, let alone three. It was emotionally draining, and Olivia hated asking this of her little sister, but unfortunately, there was nothing she could do but be supportive.
It was time to put that bastard behind bars, and keep her sister safe. Olivia would have to step back from the case because it's personal, but her job was to be there for her sister in any way she could.
