"Run!" A young flame monster shouted. The monsters had lost the final battle of the great war between them and humans that morning, and King Asgore himself had negotiated the terms of surrender, but no one but the monster king and queen knew what exactly the humans would do.

Rumors had begun to fly of what punishment the humans would inflict. Turning them all to dust, turning them all to stone, a couple of the many examples. A trio of monsters had managed to flee, after finding out what would become of the monster race. Imprisonment. A magical spell was going to seal the monsters underground.

The trio of friends were being chased by humans who were meant to guard the site as the spell was preparing to be cast. Aaron, the young flame monster, was flat out sprinting across a field, with Pebbles, a nearly featureless rock monster, in hand. Misty, a mermaid-like monster, was beginning to trail behind. "I can't keep up…" Misty wheezed. "No way I'm leaving you behind!" A confident Aaron yelled. He quickly grabbed Misty by the hand, and sped along using his fire magic as an engine for a speed boost. They raced on, and found a seemingly empty cave.

Aaron zoomed in, and quickly scrambled out of sight with his friends still in his arms. The humans called for and threatened them, but to no avail. And once the humans finally left, Aaron let out a sigh of relief. "We're…safe…" He said, now out of breath, exhaustion showing in his fiery form. "For now…" Misty muttered ominously.
