Author's note 1:

At first I tought: Perhaps I should publish this thing on another site. This is after all the main brain where I upload most of the "realistic" fanfictions.

But then I read a work of another Author: The sinopys was of "adventure" and "hurt/comfort" but it was basically a parody (It's a fanfic of another game, not destiny)

So, I contacted my brain and: If there are Authors who dare to upload this crap, why can't I do the same with whatever story I want?

So, after searching for 1000 years I never found a female!Oryx fanfic: To the the truth I found 2 of 'em. One was on standby and the other had shitty grammar and was abbandoned.

Having said this…

Enjoy!

The calm breeze trough the Cosmodrome was always refreshing, even tough you had to walk trough destroyed buildings and bones of dead people, it had history. History of humanity and its reaches, from the first homos to travelling to space.

The Moon? First squad going to the massive planetoid was in 1969, nothing much to say there. Until the arrival of the Traveler and new technology, it became one of the most important researches station. And then the Hive came… or rather woke up and destroyed any hope.

Venus? Clovis Bray did clearly a number over the evolution of the colony, it became one of the biggest archives. And now? Now reduced to a dead zone divided between Fallen and Vex, the latter always wanting to create their own version of the planet with their techs.

Mars? Home of Rasputin. Clovis Bray's main installment rested on the red planet. The Cabal had some sort of love-story with the massive planet since they can't be seen in any other place.

Each destination was touched by the Traveler.

And touched by Him.

He killed the Heart in the Black Garden and even helped the Queen of the Reef dismantling the House of Wolves. But there is something he did which put a bountie on his head.

Killing Crota…

He did it to protect the City from his wraith, to save everyone. But he never imagine it would have taken the attention of Her.

Auryx, the Taken Queen.

She came to the Solar System for revenge, first targetting the Cabal base. Taking them…

Thanks to Cayde's help he infiltrated the Dreadnaught and disabled the weapon, it killed the entire Awoken army and it was close to ending his- Eris Morn's ship.

And when he finally arrived to confront Auryx?

She firstly looked arrogant, almost certain of winning. Too bad the first thing in combat is to NOT understimate your opponent, something she did for the countless wins she did in eons.

She was on her knees but seemed almost… satasfied with his win?

In fact, deep in her mind. She knew he was stronger than her in this form, perhaps he could put up a fight in her realm. But he was not strong enough…

But that was okay, she found something else in the guardian…

She found the perfect King to rule with…

She used the energy of her sword to flee back to her taken realm. She had to prepare her best wizards for the ritual, Savathun tought she was the only one to come up with plans while her two sisters only used their fists?

Auryx grinned with her teeth. Oh, how wrong her sister was…

His name was (but he gave it himself since he did not remember his past life) Gabriel. After waking up from a hundred of years nap he read the name on a Pub entrance in the Cosmodrome and decided to take it.

He tought Auryx would be dead, but she apparently fled to her original realm and he took the task of finishing the job.

He still had some Crota's essence on his body and this allowed him to enter her domain.

The first takens and Hive did not scare him at all.

But at one point he found himself bleeding, a cut over his chest and his ghost destroyed. Pieces of metal all over the dark floor.

He shared a few tears for his partner but went ahead, he know he will die, but Hell if he wasn't going to fight like the true Titan he was.

He gritted his teeth as screeches filled the air, he brought his palm up and crackled it with arc. They were right on schedule, he could take a few rounds to empty his frustrations. Cracks of electicity pumped in his hands and veins. The Knight and Acolytes surrounded him, taking all of his sides. With a battle of cry but leaped in the air and smashed his fist on the ground.

The horde never stood a chance…

He felt something dripping from both of his cheecks. Was it blood? Or were these tears? He didn't care. Clutching his wound and throwing away his helmet, he began to walk inside the empty halls, no Light in sight, just Darkness.

Auryx watched from her orb how the Titan named Gabriel proceeded. She saw him losing his ghost, how one of her children slashed him across the torso, the Titan slammed his fist on the responsible and cracked its skull. She was impressed at the guardian's stamina, she allowed some of her fantasies to become reality and she could feel herself leak a little.

She almost reached her claw for her lower part but stopped. Soon her King would come and change his appearance for both of their needs, then he could satasfy her.

She gave a loud purr. "I cannot wait for you to reach me, my King" she stared at how he threw away his shotgun and rocket launcher, only proceeding with a gun in his hand. Perhaps in the past she would have considered any being insane for thinking of fighting her brood with a small weapon like that.

But she knew Gabriel was enough to cancel her superstition.

The sound of weapons scraping on the floor allerted another batch of her children. Gabriel only groaned and punched his way trough the horde.

"My queen?" Auryx didn't need to turn around. She already sensed the entrance of 2 witches. "Prepare the ritual. Our guest will soon be here…" the witches looked at each other for a moment, they both bowed in sign of submission. But the left one slightly raised her head. "My queen, I shall not decline your will..." Auryx motioned with her claw to continue. "…but I cannot help but wonder: Why would you crown a guardian as King? They are our mortal enemies…"

Auryx felt a bit of frustration over the witch dubitating her choices, but understood what she really implied. "That guardian was able to defeat me in my other form, he was so close at killing me…" her grin returned. "…and he only flinched during the fight. He will be the perfect King…"

The witches bowed and left the room. Auryx glanced at the orb for a second. "You will like your new position, Gabriel. I promise you that…"

Gabriel dropped to his knees as the horde closed on him. He killed thousands of these bastards, he can die peacefully now with a grin on his face.

His grin vanished and confusion appeared on his face as the horde divided itself in two groups and made room for two witches. They slowly floated and circled around him, perhaps they were inspecting him?

"What's your problem, ladies?" he caught their attention and he gestured at his body as blood drippled from the right corner of his mouth. "…afraid of ending a lightless guardian? Please, just finish me off so you can return to your homes" the witches tilted their heads at the display before one of them grabbed him by the shoulder and began to take him somewhere.

"Guess they want to take me to dinner before ending this…" he coughed blood.

He slipped on and off of consciousness…

But he heard some door opening and he was on throwen down on the floor. His bones cracking as he hissed in pain.

"Now, now. That's not how we would treat a guest…" the familiar voice cut trough the air and he raised his gaze upon the being in front of him. "…we wouldn't to break him… just yet…"

"Auryx…" he muttered as his strenght left him bit by bit. Auryx only smiled, Gabriel was confused on how that smile was genuine, pleased and… hopeful? The Queen floated to the guardian and raised his chin with a bony finger.

"We have business to discuss, Gabriel…" she pointed at the entrance. "…Leave us!" the Knights, Acolytes and Witches bowed and walked out. Once the door closed the Taken Queen traced her finger over the guardian's face, not to draw blood or to hurt him… but to… check him? It slithered over his cheecks and forehead as Auryx hummed pleased.

She let go of him and hovered to the end of the "room". Yes, it wansn't really a "room", Gabriel took his time to scan his surroundings.

First thing he noticed were 4 platforms on each end, 2 bigger platforms hovered over the smaller ones. The "room" itself was all opened, he could see the space all around him. And behind Auryx, Saturn stood in all of its glory.

He pushed himself on his feets, it took all of his strenght to do so. In moments like these, he missed the presence of his ghost. Sometimes it annoyed him, but it was his eternal partener… now dead…

His balance was off as he gripped anything to not fall down. Auryx was staring at Saturn, at the end of her throne room, her sword between her hands. Gabriel slowly walked, his left hand clentching his wound.

"Beatiful… isn't it?" Auryx's eyes never left the view as the guardian dropped on the floor beside her. Gabriel glanced at her for a second. "Why aren't you killing me?"

One of Auryx's eyes flickered for a moment. "Before I reveal the real reason… let me ask you something, Gabriel…" she fully turned to face him, he was unnerved by the sword. Auryx felt this and threw it away. "…Why do you follow the Light?" she continued.

He pondered this question for a minute. "Well… first thing, it revived me. I am grateful for that, if it wasn't for the Traveler I would still be bones and ashes, forgotten in time..." he spit blood and cleaned his mouth with a fist. "…I fight for it because it gives life to everyone, the right side. While the Darkness seeks destruction, Light seeks creation…"

Auryx remained silent as she listened. "…Our races have different customs, Auryx. While for you death, streght and power is what it takes to survive, for humans, exos and awoken show compassion and give a chance to everyone. Even the weakest…" he snorted. "…hell we protect the weakest from you…"

Auryx did not know if that was supposed to be an insult but kept her calm behavor. "But isn't it true? Only the strongest might survive in this world…" she glared a bit. "…you creatures. You think you know what is right? You think you know what is good for this world? We were taught the Sword Logic for a reason…" she slowly began to pace back and forth. "…And myself instructed the law: If I'd ever die then the Sword Logic wouldn't be plausible to follow anymore…"

"But I'm still here…" Gabriel could feel the pride and arrogant tone in her voice. "…And will still lead my forces…"

"You didn't seem that powerful when I put you on your knees, Auryx…" the Taken Queen stopped her pacing and breathed heavily.

"I've won countless battles, Gabriel. I have slained a worm god, Akka, and gained the power to take. I spoke with the Deep itself…" she approached the guardian and leaned to his face. "…you have no idea what you guardians are dealing with…" she got up. "But I admit one thing: with winning each battle myself and my worm began to understimate my opponents, I became arrogant. Deep down I knew one day someone would have been able to master my won powers…"

"And that day arrived…"

"Happy to know I was the first one to defeat you…" he muttered. The comment was ignored by Auryx.

"When I heard how you and your team slayed Crota, I felt rage, rage and hate. But in a way I've never felt them before. I tought that perhaps Crota didn't use his full power because of his arrogance…" she grinned. "…I was very wrong…"

"Seems to me that Crota was weak compared to any other entity I've ever fought…" in a split of a second he was against a column, Auryx's sword against his troath and the Hive Godess glaring at him.

"Do not mock my deceased son, Gabriel. It could be the end for you…" fuck this shit. If he was going to die, he will die without fear. He smirked and spit on her face, the blood entering her 3 eyes. She roared in anger and threw him on the floor like garbage. Gabriel took the time he had to take as much oxygen as he could inside his lungs, before he saw a sword coming in his direction.

He was too tired to fight, he just closed his eyes with a smile…

And the sword connected with the ground on his left shoulder…

His vision cleared again, Auryx was grinning like a mad woman as both of her 3 eyes glowed. "Arrogance, defiance, challenge…" she raised and pointed the tip of her sword to Gabriel's temple. "…that is what I like of you humans. Some of you scream and flee away in despair, but others even in the presence of death want to challenge, to not show their true fear..."

"I have a deal for you, Gabriel…" Auryx had her sword once again between her hands as she waited for the right signal.

That was enough to stir Gabriel's curiosity. "What kind of deal?"

If possible the grin on Auryx's face widened. "Few have impressed me over eons, Gabriel. You killed the heart of the Black Garden, Kings, Kells…" she hesitated for a moment. "…my own child. All of this caught my interest, so I offer you this deal: Take me as your mate and I will crown you as my King. I shall spare your people and give up any plans of attacking your precious Tower and Traveler…"

"What do you say, oh lover of mine?"

Great, now she started quoting the Ahamkara…

He was spechless at Auryx's offer, but he did not waste time and got over his shock. He pondered his options…

He could immediatly deny as any other person would do, this however could lead to his death and a fight worst than the battle of 6 fronts. This time the Tower wouldn't stand a chance and Auryx would win…

He could accept her offer: he would keep living and the Tower could be safe, this however could be a trick and Auryx could demand him to fight his own home. But he could always warn the Vanguard with a message or something else.

Neither choice was appealing, but he had to make one…

He sighed. Auryx was impatient, he could tell that by her body language.

"I-i…" Traveler, his troath hurt so much. He talked just fine even with blood in his mouth until now, why was it so hard to answer?

"I… accept your offer, Auryx…" Auryx's eyes lightened up and her grin returned.

"Then it's settled, I prepared few witches for a ritual. We need your body to be more… suitable… for our race, Gabriel…" the doors opened and a bulky Knight came. "…please escort our guest to his next destination, and don't kill him…" the Knight bowed and grabbed Gabriel by the shoulders, it began to drag the guardian away.

"Oh, and Gabriel?" the Guardian lifted his eyes to the Taken Queen. "…I look forward to our time together… my King" Gabriel could only give a weak glare as the doors closed.

Once Gabriel was escorted out, Auryx gave a sigh of relief and turned back to admire Saturn.

"Everything is going as planned…" finally after eons she had a King!

And now she had a feeling, it was not the destructive need her worm demanded to satasfy its nature.

It was something else…

"Savathun isn't the only smart member of the family…"

She patiently waited for her King…

Author's note 2:

READ THIS! READ THIS READ THIS!

Okay, let me know I did some lore wrongs or grammar mistakes.

I will try to keep this as canon as possible but of course some things need to change in order to accomodate the story's lore, mmm?

Now, for those interested in this story, who know the destiny lore (and possibily know decent grammar), please PM because I need to discuss a thing regarding this newborn fanfiction.

Fiamma out!
