I was thrilled. I had just gotten my new gadget. After charging it, I put it on my wrist.
Strange. It already had a face installed, a green kaleidoscope circle that changed with every glance.
Flashing words appeared. "Epotoransu!"
"E-Epo…Epotoransu?" I read carefully.
The watch flashed brightly and I was knocked to the ground, unconscious.
When I came to, there was a boy standing over me. "Thanks for letting me out of the Omnitrix."
I glared at the watch. Should've known. I was gonna kill John. This was one of his plans!
"The O-Omnitrix?" I gasped out, getting to my feet. "You're—"
"Ben 10!" Ben grinned and steadied me. "Thanks for the rescue, but it looks like I can only use my powers when you're wearing the watch. Weird, I figured you'd be able to use the Omnitrix." He paused. "So that's what Azmuth meant…"
"Huh?" Was all I could say. Ben 10, in my bedroom. And all I could say was 'Huh'!
"He said he'd sent it to someone who would rather me use it than them." Ben said. "You a fan?"
"S-Sort of." I said. "I'm not a fan in the way you think, but I do know about all your adventures, Ben."
"What's your name then?" Ben asked, checking on his own Omnitrix. "And how do you know about me exactly."
"I'm Kuri." I said after a silence, contemplating my answer. "Welcome to the Order of the Red Lotis."
Ben whirled. "Like Redspots…this is Plumbers Secret Compound!"
