—Everyone is here!—announced Mario.

—Not everyone—contradicted Luigi. —Where's Princess Peach?

The participants looked around, trying to find the regent.

—The Links aren't here either!—Zelda noticed. —What did you do to them, Ganondorf?—interrogated, with angered tone. The others turned their look to the Gerudo.

—No way! I have nothing to do with this!

—Where they could be?—asked Daisy, worried.

In the Mushroom Castle, the "goners" were in the princess' office. She was sat at the office's table, sad and low-spirited. The Links were sat in front of her, worried.

—I won't take part in this Smash—revealed the regent.

—What?!—said Link, surprised and widening his eyes. The other two had the same reaction.

—Why?!—asked Young Link.

—I don't feel confident nor prepared—answered. —There are too much contestants way more powerful than me this time.

The four heard knocks on the door. Peach asked:

—Who is it?

—It's us, Princess—replied a deep voice. —Zero and Alucard.

—Get in.

The reploid and the vampire walked in the place.

—What's up?—asked the first.

—We heard that you were feeling down—said Alucard to Peach. —What's going on?

—She doesn't want to take part in Smash—explained Toon Link. —She doesn't feel confident nor strong enough to do it.

—If that's the problem, let's train the princess, then—Link said, standing up. —We'll do what we can to strenghten you, don't we, brothers?

—Yes—they confirmed.

—Thank you very much!—said the regent, less dispirited, pulling Link, Zero and Alucard into a hug, then Young Link and Toon Link.

—Dress lighter clothes and come—suggested Zero. —Big dress isn't properly for training nor fights.

—Yes.

The princess trained with each of 'em in their own world. The Links, Zero and Alucard taught her to fight with bladed, fire and propulsion weapons, boomerangs, explosives and martial arts. In the end, the boys took Peach to use the Maverick Hunter Base's simulator. There, she confronted monsters and robots that were once defeated by her brothers. The regent used everything she learned with them and destroyed the enemies.

—I'm ready—said Peach, after entering the Mushroom Castle's office, where her friends awaited for her. She was dressed with pink baby look shirt and jeans shorts, white long socks and pink medium barrel All Star, utility belt, ponytailed hair and the royal crown. She was carrying Parry, the parasol, and a frying pan on each side of her waist. On her back, carried a gatling machine gun and Exor, a long sword given to her by Princess Zelda, forged by Gorons. In holsters hooked on the thighs, there were two pistols.

—Wow!—exclaimed Young Link and Toon Link, smiling.

—Looking good, Princess—complimented Zero.

—Are you sure you're gonna take all these weapons?—asked Alucard. —Aren't they heavy?

—Yes, I am—replied, determined. —Thanks a lot, my brothers! Now I feel better and stronger to fight.

—Alucard and me will wait for your call, in case you need our assistance—said the red reploid.

The group left the Castle to join the others. The Hunter and the damphir took a different path to gather with the other assistants while the heroes and the princess kept going to meet the other contestants.

When they arrived, the reaction of most of them were the same as Young Link and Toon Link. Some looked wary, others just smiled.

—You're finally taking Smash serious, Highness?—asked Meta Knight.

—Not quite. I was just feeling myself unmotivated and weak, so I asked the boys help and they trained me.

—Are you feeling better now?—inquired Rosalina.

—Wanna try?—Peach challenged.

—Whoa, I like that!—aproved Wario, beating his fists one on another.

—ATTAAAAAAAACK!—Daisy shouted out, animated. The other Smashers ran to attack Peach and she drew Parry and the frying pan, preparing herself to battle.
