A Tails x Cream Crossover fanfic in BOTW Universe
Chapter one
It has been nine years since Dr. Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik has stopped trying to take over the world and as a result the world of Mobius enjoyed nine long years of peace. Sonic and Amy have gotten together during the nine years and traveling the world only appearing in the Olympic Games both summer and winter.
One morning Miles "Tails" Prower who goes by Tails by most is now 17 years old after the nine years of peace was working on an idea he had after meeting members of the Mushroom Kingdom in the Olympic Games over the years. He wondered if it is possible to go to different universes and time periods without needing Chaos Emeralds. Tails has grown over the years making his height now 4'6 or 140cm. His tails have grown to a bit and while he does not have clothes on, but he does have a pair of googles on his head with a belt to attack stuff to it. While working on the machine to bring his idea to life he heard the doorbell ring. Tails went to answer it and was none other than Cream the Rabbit with Cheese the Chao. Cream has grown in the nine years. She is now the same height as Tails since she was a little shorter than him nine years ago, her ears have grown longer and even has grown a little hair from the center of her head. Cream still is the kind, friendly, caring and compassion rabbit after nine years. She is wearing longer orange dress to complement her height that has her signature green bowtie with orange shoe with a splash of yellow. Cream has yellow umbrella with her in case it started to rain. Cream says with a smile 'Hey Tails.' Tails says back with a smile of his own 'Hey Cream.' Cream was the one who always somehow made his day wonderful in almost any way whenever he saw her. Tails is grateful Cream still has that sense of wonder and is the gentle soul when he first met her. Tails than asks 'What brings you by today Cream?' Cream than hugs Tails looking at him with worry saying, 'Tails when was the last time you got sleep?' She says this because Tails looks very tired. Tails says, "I am sorry Cream that I have not had sleep. I did not sleep because I have working on a portal" Cream asks with wonder "A portal to where Tails?" Tails answers with "A portal into another universe or another time. The idea came to me after spending time with Mario and the rest of the Mushroom Kingdom over the years that I want to find other places to go and discover." "That sounds wonderful Tails and that you are determined on the project, but please don't do all that at the expense of your health because I am afraid you will hurt yourself so badly! What if I come here someday and I find you on the floor either in pain or worse dead?" said Cream with tears coming from her eyes. 'Promise me that you will take care of yourself Miles! Please!" asked with a plead from Cream. Tails was shocked she said his actual birth name. After shaking the shock off he hugged Cream and said to her "I promise you Cream because I know how much you care and are so wonderful just being you!" Cream says, "Of Course Tails you matter to me very much and if you want, I can come in!" Cheese says "Chao. Chao./(That is right Tails.)" as he lands on Tails' head. Tails says, "Thank you Cheese. I can use a break." Tails than says "Come inside Cream and Cheese." Cream responds, "Thank Tails. We can get you something to eat as well and so I can make sure you rest up when it gets late." "Thank you very much Cream! I know I really appreciate you very much." said Tails.
As they are eating Tails looks at Cream thinking to himself 'She is so wonderful, and I just can't help but fall in love with her. I want to ask her out so much and if I can get the portal working as well as find a place to take her for a romantic setting to confess.' Meanwhile Cream was thinking to herself 'He is just so wonderful, and I just love him so much. I wish he took better care of himself, but he always did put other first before himself. I will make sure nothing terrible happens to him. I know I can ask if I can help with the portal that way it would take less time to make.'
Cream says, "Hey Tails." Tails responds, "Yes Cream." Cream asks "Can I help you with the Portal? I am asking because maybe with two hands as well as four hands can help you." Cream looks to Cheese who nods in agreement. Tails smiles while thinking 'She even wants to help me even if for as long as she can.' Tails says, "Sure Cream you can, and I am very thankful you are offering your free time to help me." "Of Course, Tails you are one of the most important individuals to me." Said Cream while smiling. So, Tails, Cream and Cheese head off to the room where the machine is and got to work. Cream left her umbrella in the dining room since she did not need it. Tails and Cream ended up working so well together with making the machine for the portal. Cheese helped as best he can with being a small Chao.
After hours of work they got to a point where they can give a test run. Cream did have concerns with the portal, and she is saying her concerns "Tails I have to ask. Will the portal be safe?" Tails did have the same concern as Cream because he is worried the portal could either explode killing himself, Cream and Chess or it could tear the universe apart. Tails responds honesty with "To tell the honest truth Cream I don't know because who knows what can happen along with the portal could explode or destroy the universe." Tails than ask Cream a request from her "Cream if by some chance the portal gets too unstable. I want you and Cheese to run as fast and as far as you while I try to contain it." Cream looks at Tails hard with the eyes with determination and responds "No! I won't leave you Tails because you matter to me, and I rather die with you than live without you! I won't leave you no matter how much you ask me to not now, not ever because I love you so much Miles 'Tails' Prower! So please don't ever ask that of me ever again." Cream looks at Tail pleading while Cheese agrees with a nod as his way saying he will not leave Tails either. Miles amazed that Cream would never leave him and declared her love to him says with emotion, "I love you too Cream the Rabbit! I promise that I will not ever ask that of you again.' Cream smiles and cries in happy tears not only with Tails understanding why she will not leave him, but also that he loves her too. This is considered one of the happiest days of her life that she will forever treasure. After Miles helps Cream dries her tears she says with a smile, "Tails while I am afraid of the results, but I am not afraid to face it with you. No matter what happens we are in this together." Tails says, "I feel the same with you Cream. Are you ready?". Cream responds with "Yes Tails. I am ready." Tails asks, "Cheese are you ready?". Cheese nods to the question in response. Tails and Cream held each other's hand while using their other to press the button at the same time. Cheese laid on top of Tails. They both said together "Here we go!" The machine started to ran while making a lot of noise all the while Miles was thinking 'Come on. Come on. Please work. Please!' Cream at the same time was thinking 'Please work for Miles. Please let this work for him.' After a few seconds of waiting a portal opened up showing a mythical world that has a beautiful lake, a luscious forest, a desert and a castle that had a triangle like symbol. "The world looks very beautiful Miles. I am glad we got the portal to work." Tails happy the machine works and the place that is shown to them is indeed beautiful. Tails is enjoying Cream call him by his birth name. Tails than said "Thank you for helping me Cream because of you I was able to do it." Cheese lets out a happy Chao! Chao! Tails says, "Cream I enjoy the way you call me Miles and You can call me that if you want from now on." Cream smiles at that and says, "Of course Miles since I do love your birth name and I will never make fun of it." They both looked at each other with love and smiled at one another. Tails places his right hand on Cream left cheek while she does the same with him. Tails says, "I love you Cream." Cream responds, "I love you too Miles" Cheese smiles looking at the two finally admitting they love one another. As they started to slowly lean to one another to kiss when suddenly the portal started to act up and turned into a vacuum. Tails, Cream and Cheese found cover, but no second later that cover got destroyed. Oddly enough only Tails, Cream and Cheese the portal was vacuuming up along with a book like object. They were screaming in fear and holding each other for dear life. They all got sucked into portal and turned off afterwards end with the machine itself exploding. There is one camera in the room as a means to document Tails' progress on the machine that he forgot to switch off, but will play an importance later on.
Where do the three end up, what awaits them and will they be able to get home?

Author's Notes
This is my very first fanfiction I have ever written after reading many fanfictions for over a decade.
It felt right to try to do one since i always wanted to and this year I finally took the plunge.
I started doing this first one my phone in my notes section so i have at least 4 chapters set maybe more.
As for Cheese the Chao I will have a mix of Translating what he is saying from writing it in or when Tails along Cream translate what he is saying.
My friend Namisky i sent a earlier verison of the first chapter and she said was good. I did add stuff to the first chapter since then to flesh out some stuff.
Since I don't see many Tails x Cream stories now a days I wanted to do something that focuses mostly on them while doing a crossover with The Legend of Zelda.
This chapter is meant to have Miles 'Tails' Prower and Cream the Rabbit to admit their feeling to each other and have a reason why they end up in BOTW universe.
My goal is to try to see how they are 9 years older as best as i can.
this is not a one-shot at all and will have chapters just not sure how long it will end up being as a warning
I will also introduces characters from different universes outside of BOTW and Sonic, but i will keep who i have in mind to myself until the time is right to introduce them
I will mostly try my best to stay true to the Breath of the Wild Universe with additions in between major plot events of the game.
I have no idea if I will be incorporating the sequel to Breath of the Wild as of now since we don't know the plot officially as of yet.
