Privet Drive, night

"Good evening, Professor Dumbledore." Minerva said as she shifted out of her feline form. "Are the rumors true, Albus?" she asked.

"I'm afraid so, Professor. The good and the bad." Dumbledore replied.

"And the boy?"

"Hagrid is bringing him." Albus said, causing Minerva to look at him like he was crazy.

"Do you think it wise to trust Hagrid with something as important as this?" the Anamagius asked.

"Ah, Professor. I would trust Hagrid with my life." Dumbledore said. And as if on cue, Rubeus Hagrid arrived via flying motorcycle. But unbeknownst to the trio, another was watching them. Someone with a burning red eye.

"Professor Dumbledore, sir. Professor McGonagall." Hagrid greeted.

"No problems, I trust, Hagrid?" Albus asked, referring to the young Soul the Half-Giant was holding.

"No, sir. Little tyke fell asleep just as we were flying over Bristol." he said, bringing the child to Dumbledore. "Try not to wake him."

"Albus, do you really think it safe leaving him with these people? I've watched them all day. They're the worst Muggles imaginable. They really are-"

"The only family he has." Albus finished, cutting off his second-in-command.

"This boy will be famous. There will not be a child in our world who doesn't know his name." Minerva tried to reason.

"Exactly. He's better off growing up far away from all of that. Until he is ready." Dumbledore explained before leaving a letter in the folds of the blanket and apparating away with Hagrid and McGonagall.

After the trio was gone, the entity that was watching them approached the baby. To it's anger, the infant was shivering in the cold. Made sense though, considering it was November. Then, it saw the scar. For some reason, it gave off surges of Undead Magic.

Just like Godric's Hollow.

'If what that woman said was true, then this boy would be unhappy here.' the entity thought as it picked up the letter and tore it open. After he finished reading, he picked up the child and held it close. "Welcome to the family, Harry Potter." it said with a smile.

9 YEARS LATER

Castle Bleck, morning

The scene opens to a black bedroom. The entire room was black, except for the white lines and torches making the area visible to people inside.

The bed in the center of the room had a red velvet blanket covering the person sleeping in it. With a yawn that could fracture someone's eardrums, the person in the bed rose to their full height and showed who it was.

It was a 17-year-old boy with a single green eye and blonde hair. His right eye had been torn out years ago, leaving him half-blind. He stretched his arms as he got out of bed.

He put on a red jacket and black shirt before putting on a pair of gray pants. Before leaving his room, he took a mechanical eye from his desk and inserted it into his empty socket. He then left his room and walked through the massive ebony halls until he reached the kitchen. It was a small-ish room with only a table, countertop, and a pantry. With a tired groan, he finally saw his reflection in the sink.

"AGH!" he shrieked. "Wait. Is this "curse" ugly, or "normal" ugly?" he asked himself. "Knowing you, it's probably both." he replied, eliciting a smack to his own head. "HARRY! CALLIE! BREAKFAST!" he yelled upwards. In three minutes' time, two 11-year old children ran into the room and sat down at the table. The first was a blonde girl with green eyes and long hair that reached her shoulders. The second was a black haired by with green eyes and glasses. "How'd you two sleep?" the older boy asked.

"Just fine, Dad." the girl said as the boy put eggs and bacon on the kids' plates. "What about you?"

"Nothing of note to report." the other blonde said as he sat down with the children.

The older boy was Dominic Xiao-Long, more commonly referred to as "The Mountain King". 10 years ago, he fell through a rift in the dimensions and landed in Godric's Hollow. Once there, he felt an overabundance of Undead Magic. Tracing the magic to an old house, he found two corpses belonging to James and Lily Potter. One thing led to another, and Harry became a Xiao-Long.

Harry's step-sister, the King's true heir, was Calore Xiao-Long. She was born just a few days before Dominic found Harry. Since the two grew up together, they were practically siblings.

While they ate, something crashed into the window. Turning his head, Dominic saw an owl outside his castle. 'Odd.' he thought as he got up and opened the window. Once he got a closer look, he noticed a letter tied to the owl's foot.

"What is that?" Harry asked.

"It appears to be a piece of paper." Calore joked, getting a glare from her brother.

"I know that! I want to know what's written on it!" Harry corrected.

"Quiet, both of you." Dominic said, raising his free hand. "It's addressed to you, son." he said, handing the envelope to the boy. Harry opened the letter and started to read.

"Well. That's something." Dominic commented. "From what I'm seeing, this came from your original world."

"You're kidding!" Harry exclaimed, surprised.

"Nope, this handwriting is reminiscent of 19th Century England. The exact era you were born." Dominic explained. "If you want to attend this place, I won't stop you. But if you don't want to..."

"I'll go." Harry said. "I want to know more about my world, after all."

"I had a feeling you'd say that. Get dressed. I'll prepare the car." he said to the kids before going downstairs.

"So, what do you think it's gonna be like? Hogwarts, I mean." Calore asked.

"I don't know. Dad said it was the 19th Century there, so the technology might be a little behind. But I'm really excited about the new magic we might learn!" Harry said, ecstatic.

"Wait, we?" Calore repeated.

"Yeah. You didn't expect me to go without you, did you?" Harry explained. "I either go with you, or not at all." the boy said before going to his room to change.
