New York: Queens

In the Queens neighborhood, we can see many things, the subway, grocery stores and even a dirty alley here and there, but that is not our focus, here we are focused on a specific person.

'Come on ! Why does my alarm clock never go off at the right time?!' Thought a boy who was apparently about 15 years old. He seemed to be in a hurry and was running nervously towards his destination. The boy in question had long brown hair to his shoulders and wore glasses that covered his brown eyes.

As he ran, the boy in a hurry saw an elderly lady having difficulty carrying her groceries "Do you need help?" he asked without thinking twice about helping

"Yes, thank you" The old woman thanked him with a smile and handed him some of her groceries "My way is through here" She said as she indicated where she was going

"Wow, how much stuff is here. Are you going to have a family lunch or something?" the boy asked gently

"No, I have a restaurant and I'm taking the ingredients" She replied but felt a little more weight in her purchases. The boy noticed and took a few more, which surprised the old woman

"Better be careful, my mother keeps saying that you can do harm if you force your own body too much" The boy said

"Thank you young man, but isn't that too heavy for you?" The old woman asked a little surprised by the boy's strength.

"Oh no. That's pretty light actually." The boy said surprising the old lady even more. They continued talking a little longer until they arrived at the restaurant in question

"Do you make Japanese food?" the boy asked with a hint of interest in his voice.

"Yes, you don't like it?" The elderly woman answered with another question.

"On the contrary, it's my favorite food. Well, right after my mom's Kreplach" The boy replied but left the old woman a little confused "It's yiddish." The old woman remains confused "It's Jewish food."

"Oh yes, I understand." She responds by concluding the conversation but the boy just remembered something else

" What time is it?" the boy asked

"I think it's like 8:10" The old woman answered the question

"Damn! I have to go or I'll be late! See you there, lady." He spoke as he ran out of the restaurant to run towards his destination.

While running the boy heard a noise coming from an alley. "Help! Someone!" seemed to come from a woman

'Damn it. Do the bandits dare to rob someone in the morning? This won't come cheap for them' The boy thought as he walked away from the alley

"Please take what you want but don't touch me" The woman asked while standing near one of the criminals. There were 5 of them and they were all pretty intimidating.

"Listen, honey, we do what we want. Nothing can stop us. So be quiet" One of the thugs spoke as he pointed a knife in her face

"Please don't... I have kids" The woman spoke with despair as she looked like she was about to cry in despair

"So what? I can see it in your eyes and if you think it's going to be okay, it really isn't." The assailant spoke and pointed the knife in her face and seemed to be ready to make a cut...

But he is soon surprised by a web ball in his hand and then in his face. "Seriously, you bad guys really like to do this." The boy in question said that, but now he was different. He wore a mask that covered his mouth, wore protectors on his knees and elbows, wore long red sneakers and wore a coat that had blue and red accents on the arms and wore fingerless gloves. But the detail that caught the most attention was... the spider on his chest.

The boy in uniform then punched the bad guy with the knife throwing him a little away "To be honest, I admit the only thing that scared me about you were those teeth. Like, I know you guys are bad guys and all, but that's not it means that you can go without a minimum amount of hygiene although I don't think you will need your teeth anyway" The boy looks at the woman who was in despair before but now her eyes were full of hope knowing that there was someone for the protect her "You know what, I hate to see people crying, I hate it so much, so let's do this, you guys keep quiet and surrender or else... I'll finish you, okay?" He spoke with a sarcastic tone, which irritated the bandit with the knife that ran towards him

The bandit tried to hit him but had his arm stopped by the boy who grabbed him by the wrist and threw him against a trash can. "Wow, whenever I try to be nice they do that"

"Come on! I thought it would be okay but none of you said we were going to face the f* Spider-Man son!" One of the robbers screamed angrily and boy decided to intervene

"Hey, it's Kid Arachnid, not "Son of Spider-Man. You guys are pretty dumb" Kid Arachnid insulted the thugs and two of them ran towards him but he dodged easily and jumped into a wall to get his momentum and punch one of them bandits while being attacked by the other from behind but jumped on him and gave him a kick then pinned him to a wall with the web.

The last two thugs looked even angrier and looked like they were intent on killing but the kid...I mean, Kid Arachnid didn't even care. He threw a webline at one of them and took a lunge, punching the second-to-last thug in the face as he glared at the last thug.

"Put the gun down. Lie down on the floor. And...Stay. Quiet." The bandit then obeyed and was soon knocked out by the young superhero. After beating the criminals without an ounce of effort, Kid Arachnid decides to check on the woman. She is slumped in the alley and then he reaches out to her to help her up. "Are you okay?" he asks, worried about her condition.

"Yes, I thought it was the end of me...Thanks Spider-Man" She spoke with calm and gratitude in her voice

"Sorry but it's not Spider-Man, at least not yet" He explained

"Yeah but considering what you've done, I think you deserve that name. In fact, I was already saved by your father and my mother was saved by him too" She spoke to the boy's surprise

"Really? Well, sorry but I didn't know." He apologized

"It's okay, your dad saved thousands of people every day. It's nice to know he has someone honoring his legacy." She spoke and the boy even seemed to be a little flushed under his mask "If I may ask, would that Shadowcat person be your mother?"

"Well I can't say. Sorry" He replied but she looked at him suspiciously "Okay, she's my mother" He replied in a humorous tone "Do you need me to take you somewhere?"

"No need. Thank you" She thanked

"Alright, then see you around." Kid Arachnid said goodbye and decided to swing out of the alley

Rather than keep walking, Kid Arachnid decided to use his webs to get to his destination faster "Alright, I must have missed the first class but hopefully I should make it to the second class on time" He spoke to himself without even think about how weird this is.

He found an alley and decided to change into it. He stuffed his outfit into his backpack and changed into civilian clothes and then ran towards the building marked 'Midtown High'.

He snuck down the halls and decided to be careful to make sure no one would see him and he was successful at that.

'What happened' He thought and then looked for some sign of life in the hallways but found nothing but silence 'Am I in one of those horror movies that take place in a school? I hate movies like that, what fun is there in a movie where you're stuck in the same place for the entire movie? Though all movies aren't like that' He answered his own question in his mind.

He then saw the school janitor and decided to ask "Hey Stanley, what's crazy on Earth today? Everyone's gone" He asked amiably

"Ben, you shouldn't be here. Today is Saturday, go have fun or whatever" Stanley spoke with a certain comedic tone

"Seriously! I woke up at 7:00 on a Saturday!? My mom was right, I really should pay more attention to detail." Ben spoke with sadness in his voice

"But anyway, how did you get in here? I was sure all the doors were locked" Stanley asked

"I...I think there was an open one" Ben said while hiding the fact that he had entered through the roof and used his ninja skills to sneak into the school.

"It's ok but you have to go soon" Stanley said

"See you Monday, Stanley!" Ben said, saying goodbye

Ben decides to return to his family home in Queens and is greeted by a woman who appears to be making lunch. "Benny, darling, you should start..." Spoken, Kitty Pryde-Parker, Mother of Ben and wife of Peter Parker

"To pay more attention, I know, Mom"

"Incredible, you undoubtedly left without any of us noticing" Who spoke was Peter Parker

"Dad, I'm the son of a ninja, Mom trained me to do things like that since I was 9 years old and it wasn't even that hard" Ben replied, referring to the training he had with his mother

"Whoa, don't forget you were outdone by me, my bro" This time, the speaker was Casey Parker-Pryde, twin brother of Ben

Fun fact: when Peter and Kitty found out that they were going to have twin boys, they decided to honor them with the name of Peter's uncle and Kitty's father. One was named Benjamin Parker-Pryde and the other was named Carmen "Casey" Parker-Pryde

"Give me a break, why didn't you let me know it was Saturday?" Ben asked with a hint of anger in his voice

"Honestly, I'm bored," Casey replied. Casey and Ben loved each other but that didn't stop them from playing with each other from time to time, after all they were their father's children.

"By the way, where's May?" Ben asks wanting to know where his 17 year old sister May Theresa Parker-Pryde is.

"She said she had some appointments so she left early" Peter replied to his son

"By the way, how was your day, did you do anything interesting?" Kitty asked with slight concern in her voice. Of course her children had Peter's powers but that didn't stop her from feeling worried

"Well, I prevented a bunch of Meshuggas from assaulting a woman and managed to sneak into the school" Ben replied as he sat on the couch and grabbed a PS4 controller and started playing.

"It sounds interesting, but is there anything we should know?" Peter asked as he sat on the couch and saw Casey joining Ben to play video games

"I met an old lady who had a Japanese restaurant. Maybe I'll stop by later, you know I never stop eating good old Japanese food" Ben said and caught his mother's attention

" Do you think Japanese food is better than my Kreplach?" Kitty asked her son

"Nothing is better than your Kreplach, Mom. By the way, can you...?" ben was about to ask

"No. You can't eat that much Kreplach." She responded to Ben's sadness

" But we can't even get fat! Did you forget that we have metabolism proportional to spiders? " Casey replied while highlighting one of his powers

"It doesn't matter. Power or not, I'm your mother and you have to eat what I say" Kitty said while smiling

"It's okay. Oh dad, how are the aunt and uncle?" Casey asked, wanting to know Teresa Parker's location and her husband Kurt Wagner, the Nightcrawler of the X-Men.

"Teresa and Kurt are on vacation in Germany with Ren and they seem to be having fun. They should be back in a few weeks" Peter said

"Cool, maybe Uncle Kurt can teach us some more stunts" Ben spoke excitedly
