Hello everyone, this history is a remake of my first fic, the reason I do this is because I am not really satisfied with how the history developed so I decided to rewrite it, the history will have some changes from the original but nothing to radical, the biggest change is that is now in English, that out of the way lest begin with this.
Character description
Sailer: 15-year-old boy with red eyes and long brown hair that he tucks into a ponytail, wears a long-sleeved white shirt with black pants and boots.
Grandfather: A tall, somewhat stocky older man with a snow-like mustache, red eyes, and a civil captain's garb.
Mother: Slim woman with brown hair and red eyes, wears a long white dress with a long blue ribbon around her waist.
Father: Tall black-haired man who always wears a suit.
Brother: Young adult with black hair and red eyes wears a white shirt with a brown sleeveless jacket, wears round glasses.
It was a calm morning in the Unova region, for everyone except for one Zorua that was running in fear, the poor dark fox was being chase by an enemy in whom illusions will be of no use, the pokemon kept on running, and behind it was its chaser, followed by something more, "Quick Bisharp, X-Scissor" said the other chaser that revealed to be a human, the pokemon obey the command and jumped against the Zorua, the attack landed and launched the dark fox to the air to then falling a short distance from its aggressor "Well done Bisharp, now let it to me", Zorua looked up trying to distinguish the human but the sun was raising behind it, and the only thing it could see was a tall figure that then throwed something, and after that everything became dark…

Me name be Sailer Bates, Sailer Armando Bates Aubrey fer the complete name, an' 'ow ye may notice fer me way to speak I be a sailor, but not one o' them cowards that there 'ide behind big metal boxes that there they call ships, I be a true sailor! I may be young, 15 to be exacts, but I be still more brave an' experimented than most o' them freshwater sailors, but like every child I got the dream o' become a pokemon trainer, but when the time arrived, I been I the far side o' the seven seas from me 'ome in the Unova region, but now I be 'eadin' aft 'ome, an' once we arrived I will start me voyage.
"Sailer, we arrived" said a voice from the other side of the door, I stand up and then get out from the dark room where I was and then said "Ahoy there Cap'n" I said at the man that was standing there, a tall and old person, my grandfather "Please stop, you are a sailor not a pirate" he said "Fine I'll stop" my grandfather took a pipe from his pocket "Follow me" he said while putting the pipe in his mouth, then we started walking, we got off the ship and then continued walking across the harbor and then the forest to finally arrived at a small town, "This Sailer, is Nuvema town, here is where the most of the trainer in the Unova region start their journeys, and now is your turn, now let's go, your parents are waiting for us", the town was small, but even so it felt like if it was full of the emotions of all the other trainers that once make their first steps as pokemon trainers in this place, and now it was my turn, "So you finally arrived" a feminine voice said, "Your mother and I have been waiting for you" said this time a masculine voice, I turned around to see my parents there, "Good to see you again son" said my father "Your father is right, long time not seeing you" continued my mother "I told he was fine Gabriele" said my grandfather to my dad "I know but he is my son, my job is to worry about him" answer my father "Well, we can start if Stephen isn't here" said my mother "Soo my brother is late as always" I said "In his defense he said he had work to do, he is a doctor and you know how busy is that profession" said my father in defense of Stephen "He may be a doctor but better for him to come soon, we didn't traveled for 2 months just to stand still in one place for several hours" said my grandfather "Dad you still have to learn to be more patience" finished my mom.
A few minutes later Stephen arrived, he was covered with sticks and leaves form the bushes of the forest "Sorry for arriving late but, better not get into details" he then looked back to me and said "Jolly to see ye again brother" said my brother "Aye" I answered "Well, lets go to the point of this meeting everyone" said my grandfather who took the pipe in his hands and then start am speech "Today lady and gentlemen, we meet to commemorate the beginning of the journey of Sailer, how you know becoming a strong pokemon trainer is something that everyone in our family need to eventually achieve, and even so he is starting his journey late, that put him in an advantage, he is more prepared than most of the beginners, but that isn't enough" now speaking to me he continue "Sailer, in your Journey you will face numerous challenges but I know that you are going to be able to stand up against everything the destiny launches you" then taking something form his pocket he said "Normally as a family tradition the men get a Magikarp as his starter and the women a Feebas, but after a little and with a little I mean a lot of insist, we decide that this pokemon I have here, will be the perfect partner to begin your journey" my grandfather throw me the pokeball, I took the object in my hands for a while, whatever was in the pokeball was going to be my partner and first pokemon, I was nervous I am not going lie, but at the same time anxious, I took a deep breath and then call out whatever it was in the pokeball, the thing stated to shine and then a bright ray of light came out and started forming a small, quadruped shape, and an instant after the pokemon reveal itself, a… Zorua, a grimace formed on my face.
"Is everything fine?" my mom asked, I smiled and then said "Yeah everything is fine just… thanks" Let's just say that I had bad experiences with the dark type pokemon more specifically the Zoroarks, in the place where I born it was full of them, and they were really aggressive, its sure that everyone on that town has been attacked at least once by one of those things and I am no exception, I just hope they now what are they doing.
"Well, now that you have your first pokemon, you will need this" Said Stephen wile handing me a pokedex and some pokeballs, "Professor Juniper gave them to me a moment ago, she was busy, so I decided to give them to you personally" then he took a pokeball from his pocket and said, "And to inaugurate this occasion what about a quick battle?" said he while smiling, I smiled back and was about to accept his challenge, but our father stop us "What about you let this to me?" Stephen looked disappointed but he let my father do it "Now Sailer, the fact that I will be your first ever challenge doesn't mean that I will take it that easy on you, so be ready" then he took a pokeball and throw it showing a Nidoran Male, the purple pokemon quickly took defensive position, "Ok Zorua, let's do this" the dark fox jumped into the battlefield ready to fight, and my first ever pokemon battle begun, "Nidoran Poison Sting" the Nidoran started its attack, a bunch of stings got launched against Zorua, but I reacted fast enough, "Zorua down" the small black pokemon threw itself to the ground letting Nidoran attack pass above its head, "Now Zorua, use Scratch" Zorua stand up and then launched itself against Nidoran and tried to land the attack "Jump back Nidoran" the purple pokemon jumped back dodging Zorua's attack, "Use peck" without losing time Nidoran launched itself against Zorua so quickly that I didn't had time to react and the attack impacted against Zorua launching the dark fox back.
"You need to think with strategy Sailer" so strategy, in that case "Zorua use Torment" Zorua followed my command and landed the move, "Nidoran Poison Sting" the purple pokemon attacked with the move once again but I was ready for that "Zorua get down and then use leer" Zorua did what said, after leering Nidoran had its defense lowered, so now scratch would do more damage "Zorua Scratch" the dark fox jumped against Nidoran and manage to land the attack, "Nidoran end this with peck" Nidoran jumped to the air, now it's out change, "Zorua, Scratch!" Zorua jumped and before Nidoran could land its attack Zorua hit it with the Scratch, then both pokemon fell to the ground, Zorua was still standing, but Nidoran was defeated, giving me the victory "Well done Sailer, you manage to get your first win in your first battle, and against your own father, and believe me, he is a really strong trainer" my grandfather said congratulating me "You have a lot of potential, don't waisted like your father did" he just laughed a little.
I turned to Zorua and crouching I said, "So are you ready…" I wasn't sure of its gender "It's a girl" he said "Well girl, I thinks its time for us to start" I stand up and said goodbye to my parents and my grandfather, but Stephen followed me a little, I was carrying Zorua during the way, she fight really well, so the rest was deserved "Well Sailer, mom and dad will return home, and the captain will go back to the ship" he said "Aren't you coming back to? You are the doctor after all" I asked "At the beginning I consider it, but I will stay here in Unova in case you need help, and because I want to be testing you once in a while" we both laughed for a moment, Zorua looked like trying to understand what was going on, we arrived then to Accumula town, "Well, here is where we take different paths, I recommend you going to Striaton city first to take on the gym there, take brother, and don't forget training, because next time we see each other dad wouldn't not be there to save you, see you later brother".
