Jon Moxley sighed as he parked in the parking lot of his favorite bar. He had a horrible day and honestly just wanted to drink his sorrows away. He walked into the bar and right up to the bartender, Eddie Kingston. He was new, Jon had never seen him before. "What can I get ya?" Eddie asked him.

"Where's the usual bartender?" Jon asked grumpily.

"Oh you mean Joey Janela? Joey's on vacation for a week. Left me in charge."

"Figures. Dumbass is always taking time off." Jon grumbled.

"What can I get ya?" Eddie asked him again.

"Jack and Coke. Make it strong. I just want to forget today ever happened."

"I don't mean to pry, but may I ask what happened?" Eddie asked curiously.

"It's a long story..." Jon sighed.

"I got time." Eddie said as he handed Jon his drink.

Jon took a huge sip of his drink before starting. "Well it started with my boyfriend, er, ex-boyfriend, Kenny, breaking up with me. No reason why at all. He just broke up with me then left, taking all his things. I was heartbroken. Then, I was late for work and my boss fired me because I'm always late. So yeah, today fucking sucked ass. I just want to get drunk, go home, and pass the fuck out." He finished his drink, slamming the glass back on the bar. "Another one." He ordered Eddie.

Eddie reluctantly poured Jon drink after drink. Hours later, Jon was absolutely wasted and it was about time to close the bar up. "Alright dude. I'm gonna call you a cab."

"No cab. -belch- I want you to take me home haha." Jon cackled.

Eddie sighed. He would much rather take Jon home than let the wasted man drive. He reluctantly agreed. He closed up the bar then guided Jon to his car. About halfway there, Jon just stopped walking. Eddie wasn't sure what Jon was doing until he saw the younger man vomit onto the sidewalk. When he finished throwing up, he stumbled the rest of the way to Eddie's car, almost tripping a couple times. "Dude. You're way hotter than Kenny.." Jon complimented when he got in Eddie's car.

"Stop it. You're just saying that cause you're drunk. Can you even remember where you live or do I have to take you back to my place?" Eddie asked, rolling his eyes.

"I forgot where I live." Jon cackled.

Eddie sighed, deciding to drive Jon back to his apartment. Halfway there, he heard Jon groan. "Dude, do not puke in my car. I swear to God." What the hell did he get himself into? Jon groaned some more then began to vomit onto the floor of Eddie's car.

"Motherfucker. I told you not to do that! I oughta drop your ass off right here."

Jon finished getting sick and cackled. "It was coming too fast to have you stop the car."

Eddie sighed, pulling into the parking lot of his apartment building. When he was parked he helped Jon out of the car then grabbed the mat from the passenger side that Jon had puked on. He walked over to the grass and shook it out, getting most of it off. He hoped the rest would come off in the sink. He looked over at Jon, who had whipped out his dick and started pissing in a bush. "Dude! I have a fucking bathroom, you could have waited! I have neighbors, you know!" Eddie was starting to get pissed off with Jon's actions until he noticed that Jon had an erection when he finished relieving himself. Eddie bit his lip, feeling himself get hard. He hadn't told Jon, but he was gay himself. He quickly looked away when he noticed Jon staring at him. 'Oh no...can he see my hard on through my shorts?' Eddie thought to himself. He blushed a deep red then guided Jon up to his apartment. He sighed as he looked in his closet for some extra pillows and blankets. Once he found some, he brought it to Jon, who had sat down on the couch. "Dude your fucking apartment is amazing."

Eddie rolled his eyes and grabbed a trash can, setting it next to the couch. "If you need to puke anymore, please try to get it in the can." He sighed, heading to his bedroom.

It wasn't long before Jon had fallen asleep. The next morning, Jon awoke with a pounding headache. He groaned. "Where am I?" He asked when he realized he wasn't home.

Eddie, who had begun to cook breakfast, answered the now sober man. "You got drunk as fuck last night and wouldn't let me call you a cab. So I gave you a ride, of course you were too drunk to remember where you lived, so I brought you back to my place. Dude, you were horrible last night. You fucking puked in my car, whipped your dick out right in the open and pissed in a bush. It was embarrassing, man. You even flirted with me a few times."

"Oh.." Jon's face turned red, immediately remembering why he went to the bar in the first place. He sighed sadly. "I'm sorry..." He mumbled. He looked down, feeling the depression coming back.

"It's not a big deal, man. After hearing what you went through yesterday, I completely understand why you wanted to get drunk."

Jon bit his lip. The pain and heartache was coming back. He looked at Eddie, trying to distract himself from his depressed thoughts. "Guess I never did properly introduce myself yesterday. The name's Jon Moxley."

"Eddie Kingston. Nice to formally meet you." Eddie said with a smile. "I hope you're hungry, I made the perfect breakfast for hangovers."

Jon nodded, getting up and walking over to the table. "It smells fucking delicious, man." Jon complimented Eddie.

"I do a little cooking in my spare time." Eddie smiled. "I hope you like omelets."

"I love them." Jon smiled, adding an omelet to his plate. He instantly bit into it, moaning at the taste. "So good." He told Eddie. Before he knew it, his entire omelet was gone. "Oh man, I'm fucking stuffed." Jon said. "That was really good, Eddie."

"Thanks, dude. Need any ibuprofen? I'm sure you've got a wicked headache right now."

"I do have one but I'm not one to jump to medication for a headache."

"You sure?"

"Yeah." Jon said, looking at his watch. "I gotta get home to feed my dogs. Can you give me a ride to my car?"

"Sure thing. Will I be seeing you again tonight?" Eddie asked him.

"I dunno. After hearing what I did yesterday, I don't think I wanna get that drunk again. Even though I'm still depressed about yesterday's events."

"Are you even alright to be by yourself?" Eddie asked, concerned.

"What do you mean?" Jon asked, confused.

"Are you suicidal?" Eddie asked, point blank.

"What?! No!" Jon scoffed. "Depressed and suicidal thoughts are two totally different categories! I mean, yeah, I'm depressed over losing my boyfriend then my job, but I'm not gonna fucking kill myself over it. Neither Kenny nor my former boss are worth the fuss."

"Alright, I just wanted to make sure." Eddie said. "How would you like a position at the bar? I gotta get the okay from Joey first but there is a position open."

Jon was shocked at the job offer but knew he shouldn't turn it down. "I'd love to!" Jon said with a smile.

"Great! Let me call Joey and get the okay." Eddie grabbed his phone, dialing Joey's number.

"Hello?" Joey answered.

"Hey, Joey! It's Eddie. I found us another employee!"

"Oh really? Who?" Joey asked.

"Jon Moxley."

"Oh him! He's one of our regulars! Yeah of course he can work at the bar! Get the paperwork started right away!"

"Thank you, boss!" With that, Eddie hung up. "You're hired!" He said to Jon.

"Oh my God. That is awesome! Thank you so much! I won't disappoint you!" Jon smiled.

"Alright, let's get you back to those dogs, okay? I'll get your paperwork started. It may take a week or two but we will keep in touch."

Jon smiled, heading towards Eddie's car. "Thanks for everything, man. I'm sure I was a real handful last night."

"No problem, man." Eddie smiled brightly. The drive over to the bar was silent but Eddie knew Jon had a pretty rough headache. When they arrived at the bar, where Eddie handed Jon his keys and a slip of paper.

"What's this?" Jon asked.

"My number. I'll be in touch with you."

"Guess I should give you mine too." Jon chuckled. He told Eddie his phone number, who wrote it down and put it in his wallet. "I'll keep in touch and let you know when you're ready to start."

Eddie watched as Jon walked to his car. He bit his lip, Jon sure did have a nice ass. He shook his head, knowing he would get hard if he thought about Jon's ass anymore. He turned his radio up loud as he drove back to his place.

Meanwhile, Jon had begun the drive back to his apartment. He sighed, his head was pounding and he missed Kenny. All that depression disappeared when he walked in his apartment to his two dogs, Blue and Benny. "Hey boys. Sorry I didn't come home last night." He said, getting a can of food out of the pantry. He split it into two bowls, handing the bowls to Blue and Benny. He walked his bedroom, feeling the emotions coming back. He growled, not wanting to cry. Finally he just grabbed a pillow and screamed into it. Yeah, he may have another job already, but goddamnit, getting over Kenny wasn't so easy to do.

When Jon finished screaming, he decided to take a nap, so the tears wouldn't come. He called the dogs into his room, and they jumped on the bed right away. Benny was the more cuddly dog, and he could immediately sense that Jon was upset. He cuddled up to his owner, whimpering as he pawed at Jon. "Hey Benny.." Jon muttered. He gave Benny a few pets before laying down. It wasn't long before Jon and both dogs were fast asleep.
