Treasured

Summary: Set Season 8 Episode 18, Last Day in Florida. What if Dwight's treasure actually concealed something different? Something surprising about a certain salesman?
I also cut out the part with the poisoned dart and substituted Creed with Jim.
Everyone gathered around Dwight's desk. Neatly resting in the center, in front of his computer was a wooden box. The tension in the air thickened by the second. It was wrong to be doing this but the suspense was nerve-wracking. All the members of the Scranton branch could only imagine the contents that were within. The box was the treasure.
The very treasure that Dwight specifically informed his subordinates not to touch when he set off to Tallahassee.
But how could anyone, anyone in the office resist opening it at this point? There were endless possibilities as to what awaited them. They had already made a list of potential ideas...now it was time to unveil.
Jim approached his frenemy's desk, he had volunteered to open it while everyone else kept a safe distance away. Their eyes glued to the action; curious but also cautious. This was Dwight's treasure after all. Dwight: the man who possessed various weapons as well as combat skills.
"Now, carefully open the box." Andy encouraged, his voice laced with caution. Jim slowly extended his arm out and undid the latch. Erin and Andy both flinched slightly as Jim opened the lid. But nothing happened. No traps. However, they were in uncharded waters now. No turning back.
The saleman stuck his hand in and pulled out the boxes contents. Jim was almost literally thrown off balance by what he had uncovered. What he laid eyes upon turned him white as a sheet.
"No way this is real. Dwight wouldn't. Would he?" Jim asked the doc crew. They simply shrugged as a response.
"What is it?" Erin wondered.
"Yeah Tunes, tell us. Don't leave us hanging."
Very carefully, as if Jim had a balloon inches away from a pin, he turned the photo around and revealed to his colleagues: a 4×6 headshot of Jim Halpert himself.
"It's a photo of me. Well, that's unexpected." Pam and Oscar's mouths fell open in disbelief. Everyone else looked on in stunned silence and as they muttered things under their breath, Jim casually gazed upon the side that was facing him.
Written on the back in smooth black ink, Jim read:
An idiot and a true friend. Just reading that over in his head caused his face to flush.
"Dwight cares about me more than he lets on. I guess he does treasure our friendship, even if he almost shows no emotion. I'm glad I work with him." He told the camera.
There was an extended pause before Jim spoke again. "I think I'll keep this little note on the back to myself."
