In a world of green and blue, life is constantly threatened by the machinations of one man. A man who wished to transform the planet into an empire of metal and steel where his name reigned supreme. Time and time again the mad doctor would unveil a self-proclaimed brilliant plan to conquer the world and plunge it into one he would rule with an iron fist. But every time he would be thwarted by a speedy blue streak ready to race into action. One who would be a literal thorn in his side.

For many years, the courageous and wisecracking Sonic the Hedgehog battled the forces of the dastardly Dr. Eggman with the help of his friends and allies. But his most useful calling card came in the form of seven gems containing incredible energy: the Chaos Emeralds.

With Eggman scrambled once more after an attempt to borrow the world's life force went horribly wrong, Sonic now runs as free as the wind, ready for his next adventure. The Blue Blur awaits the mad doctor's inevitable next move, but unbeknownst to him, the Chaos Emeralds have mysteriously vanished from the face of the world...

In the magical land of Equestria, three tribes of ponies coexist in peace and tranquility. However, forces of darkness and deviousness seek to throw the residents into a state of mistrust and suspicion, weakening their magical potential. The only thing standing in their way is a force they would least expect: six ponies wielding magic greater than any other. The magic of friendship.

The loyal Rainbow Dash. The honest Applejack. The generous Rarity. The kind Fluttershy. The joyful Pinkie Pie. And their leader and newly-appointed ruler of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle. Strong-bonded and (mostly) fearless, they stand proud to defend their home from evil.

Long ago, the Mane Six were entrusted with six great magical artifacts: the Elements of Harmony. Through these symbols, they learned to harness their inner positivity and use it to shine the light in the darkness. But during their last battle, a malicious ruler destroyed the Elements, seemingly rendering the ponies powerless. Or so he believed.

Now Equestria is at peace with Twilight Sparkle adjusting to her new seat on the throne. And while all of her friends have vowed to support her every step of the way, Rainbow Dash longs for action. Every day, the cocky young pegasus soars through the skies of the land, awaiting the next great threat that had the words "please kick me in the flank" written all over it. Fortunately for the Wonderbolt, she wouldn't have to wait for long.

Although the band was victorious in trapping three of their greatest foes and now holds the true potential of the Elements on their own, such magic is too powerful to be truly abolished...

Seven gems of unlimited power.

Six artifacts of the strongest magic.

After catastrophic crises in their respective worlds, they were flung beyond the far reaches of space. Alone, they were powerful in their own rights…

But when they came together in a plane between dimensions, an explosion equal to that of a supernova went off. Their sparks touched like static electricity on a solid surface, drawn together by similar measures of power.

The Chaos Emeralds and the Elements of Harmony. Combined, their power would be too great to comprehend. The thirteen symbols spun together until they resembled a colored blur… and set both of their worlds into a state of imbalance.
