On top of the Eiffel Tower stood a young girl in a red costume that that had black polka dots covering it. This is Ladybug, one of Paris' superheroes, but outside of the mask, she was known as Marinette Dupain-Cheng, but nobody knew that. Nobody except her friends, Team Miraculous. After she became the new guardian of the Miracle Box a year ago, she and her partner, Cat Noir decided to make the temporary heroes into permanent holders of their miraculous along with revealing their identities to them and each other. When everyone's identities were revealed, it was a surprise for them except for Ladybug who basically knew. But when Cat Noir revealed his, that was a shocker, might as well add Ladybug's identity to add to the shock even more.

But right now, she was holding onto something in her hand. She told the team to meet her at the Eiffel Tower to have a discussion with her, but she didn't tell what it was for yet. Honestly, this is something that she has been having a hard time to decide and she want the others opinion.

After waiting for almost 30 minutes, her team arrived at her location. The team consisted of the heroes Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace, Pegasus, Viperion, Ryuko, and King Monkey. Ladybug was happy to have a team now. It made a lot of things easier like in case they needed backup instead of going away and coming back.

"So M'Lady," Cat Noir started with his usual suave style voice. "you called us all here for a reason."

"I did, kitty." Ladybug confirms. "I've been thinking about something for some time now and I wanted all of your opinions on it."

"So, what did you want to talk to us about?" Rena Rouge asks curious.

Ladybug looks at the item in her hands nervously, before showing them. "This." she says as she held out her hands. Upon looking at said item, it was one that they were all familiar with. A hair comb with a bee handle on it: the Bee Miraculous.

"Are you seriously thinking about recruiting her again?!" Rena practically shouts with a mix of shock and anger.

"I know that it's pretty much a risk," Ladybug tries to start only to get interrupted.

"A risk?" Ryuko asks "It's basically begging for Hawkmoth to remind him about our identities again." she finishes.

"I calculate that the risk of doing this will be even larger than the first time." Pegasus states

"Can she even be trusted again?" Carapace asks. "We all know what she's like."

"Guys!!" Cat Noir yells getting their attention. "I get it. After what happened with Miracle Queen, Chloé is the least likely choice when it comes to something like this. But if I had to pick between her and someone that has no experience, then I would pick Chloé a bit more."

"And that's something I've noticed in her change of attitude." Ladybug says as everyone looked at her. "Ever since I took her miraculous away and her parents started making amends with each other, she is completely different person."

The others started to think back. Ever since Miracle Queen, she was completely different. Sabrina abandoned her after Sabrina said that she was tired of being her slave and just walked away from Chloé. And whenever someone said something bad about her, she never gave a snarky response back. She just huffed and walked away. And to top it off, Chloé never cause an Akuma ever since. They hated to admit, but they almost miss how Chloé was.

"So," Viperion started to ask. "what do you have in mind about how we approach this?"

"Wait, you're actually supporting this?" Rena asked him like he had grown a second head.

"No, I'm not." Viperion stated before continuing. "What I mean is, if you are really wanting to recruit Chloé again, then I, along with everyone else here I assume, want to make sure that she can be trusted again, before we reveal ourselves to her."

Everyone really couldn't argue with that. It was actually a great way to make sure that she was trustworthy again. Soon everyone started to agree with Viperion, all but one.

"Rena, are you willing to trust her again?" King Monkey asked her.

Rena Rouge thought about it a little bit more, then decided, "She gets 2 weeks to see if I can trust her. If she fails, then we won't give her a miraculous of any kind again."

Ladybug smiles and said "Thank you guys. It means a lot to me." Then she and rest of the heroes took to the hotel.

Chloé Bourgeois laid on her bed in her PJ's thinking about her life. For the longest time, she idolized her mother. So much so that she ended up acting like her. But no matter how hard she tried, her mother never bother to even acknowledge her. That led to her becoming the worst person in school. But when she found a strange hexagonal box with a miraculous in it, her life felt like it changed for the better. But she ended up revealing her identity to all of Paris, becoming akumatized, and siding with the villains, and for what. All because she was jealous? Because she was never appreciated? Even she didn't know.

Then after her miraculous was taken from her and her parents making amends, she didn't feel like herself anymore. Everyone hated her, Sabrina left her, and she no longer had the same confidence she had before. She had no one, nothing, all alone.

Then suddenly she heard a knock coming from her balcony. She got up and went outside, and you could imagine her look of surprise when she came face to face with superheroes. She was honestly surprised that Paris' heroes would've even came back to her.

"Hey Chloé," Ladybug starts. "there's something that we'd like to-" but was cut off immediately.

"Wait," Chloé interrupts Ladybug. "Please let me say what I need to say before you start. Please." Ladybug, as well as everyone else, was surprised at this, but let her speak anyways.

"Look, I know what I've done last year was unforgivable and you all probably still hate me for that." Chloé says, missing Rena's glare. "But I'm not asking you to forgive me, because I know I don't deserve it. What I am asking for you do to is, please try to understand that I let my emotions get to me and it didn't help that Hawkmoth came to me. I've been trying to get better, but no matter what I do, it rarely feels like it does anything. I'm always alone, everyone hates me, I feel like I don't belong anywhere. I only wish I had the power to make it all right."

This surprises everyone. Never in a million years would they have expected Chloé to say something like that. Maybe she is trying to change. Rena thought.

"That was what we wanted to talk to you about." Ladybug said as she pulled out a familiar hexagonal box that Chloé remembers. "Chloé Bourgeois, this is the miraculous of the Bee, which gives you the power of paralysis. This is to be used for the greater good."

This was something that Chloé never expected to happen again. Are they really wanting to trust me again Chloé began to think. But as she reached out to grab the box, Ladybug quickly pulled it away and continued talking. "But one thing about this is that the miraculous are not to be used for selfish reasons. It is only for emergencies, patrols, and fighting Akumas or any villains. And think of this as a trial run. Before we decide to trust you with our identities, we must first see that you are trustworthy. You will be monitored by a hero for the next 2 weeks, if you do anything that not heroic or anything good, you won't be a hero with this or any miraculous again. Understood?"

Chloé nodded her head yes. She was determined to earn their trust again. And this time, she won't make the same mistakes she'd made in the past. Ladybug smile slightly and handed the box to Chloé. Chloé opened the box and a yellow ball of light swirled around her before the light faded to reveal the Kwami of the Bee Miraculous, Pollen.

"Greetings, my queen." Pollen said with her usual politeness.

"Pollen," Chloé started, "I'm so sorry for what I did to you when I was Miracle Queen. I promise to make it up to you." she finished almost in tears.

"It's ok, Chloé. I shall work hard to forgive you as well." Pollen said cuddling Chloé's cheek.

"That's another thing, Chloé," Ladybug said gaining the blondes attention. "you'll have to have a different costume and pick another name than Queen Bee. That's the part of you that you'll have to forget."

"I understand, Ladybug." Chloé says thinking it over and got an idea. "How about for my new hero name, Stinger."

The others had to admit, the name sounded so badass.

"Well," Cat Noir said, "it's getting pretty late, so I think it's time to call it a night?" The other's agreed as well. "Ok well, see you on your trial run then, Stinger."

After exchanging good nights between everyone, they left to go home. But before Ladybug took off, Chloé grabbed her hand and said, "Thank you, Ladybug. For willing to trust me again."

Ladybug smiled at this and said "You're welcome, Chloé. I wish you good luck on your trial run as well." Then she went home as Chloé went back inside with the determination to be the best person she can be so that she could become a better hero once more.

The 2 weeks went by so fast for Chloé that she almost didn't even noticed. One night after completely done with her homework, (yes, she had to do it) she got ready to go out again.

"Ready Pollen?" Chloé asked her Kwami.

"Whenever you are, my queen." Pollen answered.

"Pollen, buzz on!" Chloé says as she transforms into Stinger.

Her new suit had a bunch of things that made it unique among the heroes. Her mask and hairstyle was the same but somehow people never compared Stinger to Chloé. While her suit still looked like it originally did, it had a bit more padding similar to Cat Noir, but it was still more slimmer than his. She also got new weapons, twin bracers on her wrists that fired shocks of electricity. And a jet pack attached to her back with retractable bee wings that fluttered similarly like a bee. And while her special superpower, Venom, was the same, she could use it on her fists as what King Monkey called it, Venom Punch. And when she flew with her jet pack, a helmet came over her head to better protect her. (AN: basically think of Wasp from Ant-Man without the shrinking)

She met the heroes on top of the Eiffel Tower where they were waiting for her when she arrived.

"Hey guys." Stinger greeted them. "So, what are we doing tonight?"

She then noticed that all of the heroes were looking at her with smiles. "What's up, guys?" she asked feeling a bit nervous.

Ladybug was the first to talk. "It's the end of your 2 week trial run. And after discussing it, we decided that it's time that we revealed our identities to you."

Stinger was shocked at this. She completely forgot that her 2 week trial and while she was expecting to earn their trust, this was something she wasn't expecting.

"It's ok, y-you don't have to reveal yourselves to me if you don't want to. I don't mind waiting a bit longer." Stinger says not feeling like she was willing to go that far.

"It's ok," Rena Rouge began to speak, "it's something that I've been thinking about as well. At first, I thought that you weren't worthy of being a hero after what happened. But after seeing your dedication to helping others instead of yourself, you proved me wrong. So I'm willing to trust you with my identity as well." Rena finished as the others agreed with her.

Stinger felt her eyes well up with tears as she heard these words. They were willing to trust her with more than what she was expecting and she should trust them back as well.

"If that's what you wish," she started, "then I'm willing to trust you as well."

"Thank you, Chloé," Ladybug said, "just don't have expectations

With a nod from Stinger, they all detransfromed.

"Tikki, spots off!"

"Plagg, claws in!"

"Trixx, let's rest!"

"Wayzz, shell off!"

"Kaalki, dismount!"

"Sass, scales rest!"

"Longg, open sky!"

"Xuppu, naptime!"

When the lights subsided, who Chloé saw completely unexpected. Marinette was Ladybug, Adrien was Cat Noir, Alya was Rena Rouge, Nino was Carapace, Max was Pegasus, Luka (if she remembered correctly) was Viperion, Kagami was Ryuko, and Kim was King Monkey.

"Uh, surprise?" Marinette was the first to break the silence.

"Dude, I think we broke her." Nino piped up

"Logically, this was likely to happen." Max said running the calculations.

"So, do we snap her out of her trance or what?" Kagami asked

Chloé finally came to her senses. "Buzz off." she said as she dropped her transformation. "Ok so, I'm not mad, just surprised. I think I need some time to get used to it. But I'm not disappointed."

"It's ok." Marinette said. "It was a surprise for us as well."

After that, they all went to their homes as Chloé began to think that her life would get crazier than it already was. And you know what, she was great with that.

So while this chapter was more a before events of Arkham Origins, the next will hint towards the beginning of the game. The reason I started out the story like this was because I wanted to set up certain things that I want to write about. So until next time let me know your thoughts.
