It's been seasons after our battle against Outworld... and my new life at Watership Down began. My PTSD flashbacks worn off overtime, with the help of my new family-friends of rabbits and warriors for Earth. Despite of having the ability to morph into a rabbit, I never considered of having a doe. Instead, I attend to do what is best for my family... especially looking after my kid sister, Katie. She started to grow over time. Surprisingly, she was able to morph into a rabbit, as well. It was beneficial, so she could learn how to be a rabbit. We were given great instructions from our new family of Rabbits. After the Earthrealm Warriors left, Katie and I decided to remain, since there's nothing else for us back at home. We both came to an agreement that we start a new life and a new beginning. Hyzenthlay looked after us, as our adoptive mother, since Captain Holly... my adoptive and surrogate father, who was killed, while defending our warren. However, I knew his spirit is with us. Ever since after I've encountered him in the Netherrealm and freeing his soul, he now resides in Frith's Meadow and part of the Owsla for The Black Rabbit of Inle'.

Back at home, we were train to be as rabbits, as well as combat. Which we were specifically trained under Bigwig. Over time, human life started to return... as well as fresh flayrah in gardens beginning to grow again. It was a very rare instance that we avoid raiding the garden at the farm. Until months later, we decided to raid the farm, with Katie and myself, as it was our first raid.

Months passed, my sister and I were able to go on solo patrols. As a big brother, I prefer to look after her, until she's ready to go on solo patrol by herself. We were tasked to track any signs of elil. Apparently, we were managed to find a few scents and paw-prints of them: ranging from foxes to badgers. However, the tracks doesn't seem to be heading towards our warren. So it was easy to say, we're safe from predators.

One day, Katie found some strange footprints that it was out of the ordinary. It was a size of a footprint that I wasn't expecting to see sometime.

"Human footprints!" Katie informed me.

I studied and examined the footprints. It was almost fresh, as if they were scouting or searching for something. I would normally receive notice from Sonya Blade and her fellow warriors, if they were coming to visit us or they were around.

"Is it Sonya's?" Katie asked me.

"Doesn't seem like it. We would've been told, if she was around or someone else that we know." I answered. "Perhaps it's best to inform Hazel. Afterwards, see if Sonya have any acknowledgements of patrolling around these parts."

"It wouldn't be Far-"

"No." I solemnly had to interrupt her. We never wanted to hear or mention Farid's name. It was best that we had to leave it behind.

"I'm sorry, Thomas." she looked down, as if I shamed her.

"Don't be." I patted her shoulder. "That's why we agreed to never speak or hear his name again. We have to look on ahead to the future. As Hyzenthlay, Captain Holly, and the others would wanted us to."

"And Mom and Dad." Katie added to include our deceased parents.

I smiled and nodded. "Exactly." In minutes, we morphed ourselves back into our human forms. "Well, we better return back to the warren. Another dibs of flayrah and Bluebell's storytelling tonight, and we both know Hyzenthlay would not want us late for dinner and story."

"Yes, Thomas." She smiled, as we started heading for home. "I race you to the hill!"

I chuckled, as she got a head start. "Not if I reach there first!"

The two of us were more inseparable than ever. I was able to devote my time with Katie and looking after her. We were near to the steep, as I was able to catch up with her. However, she was getting to be very fast every day. It was she, taking the win for this evening's race.

"Made it!" she cheered.

"You did!" I commended her, while panting. "Now, your brother's legs are getting tired. Let's just walk up together."

We both had our laughs, as we climbed up the down. The sun was already at the set, as the evening is about to approach. However, we knew that we're always in time for dinner and Bluebell's story time. When we got up to the top, we could still see our beech tree still standing tall and proud. We would normally see rabbits hopping inside for flayrah. However, no one was out and about. Perhaps they were already inside, getting prepared for dinner. The two of us headed inside the warren and began to head our way for The Honeycomb. During our walk, there was silence.

Not a single sound of life. Even Katie thought it was strange.

"Thomas, where is everybody? They would be here."

"Just stay close to me, Katie." I instructed. "I do have a strange feeling that something isn't right."

We started to walk slowly. Not a single voice was heard. Neither Bluebell's storytelling or hearing Hazel's call for everyone to gather. I began to sniff around. Apparently, there were unrecognized scent that is not normal here.

Thomas! Behind you!

I heard Bigwig's voice. However, I turned around to see a buck charging at me. He pounced on me, but I was able to roll him to the ground. With a snap on it's neck. Katie and I turned to see injured Bigwig was near the entrance of The Honeycomb.

"We have been raided! I already sent out a buck to send a distress message to Campion-rah of Efrafa!" Bigwig informed us.

"What happened?! Where's everyone else?!" I questioned him.

Bigwig lowered his head. "They're with Frith."

"What?" Katie in shocked.

"A band of Owsla bucks and humans that we encountered raided our warren. We put a good fight, but they overcome us."

"Where's Hyzenthlay?" I asked him, as I promised Captain Holly to look after her.

"The last I saw her, was near her burrow in hiding."

"Than we must find her and get her out of here, along with any other survivors." I considered, as I was about to take lead for the chamber.

"Don't go there!" Bigwig attempt to stop me.

When I walked into the chamber... it's what I considered a bloodbath. I saw the invaders lying on the ground dead, while some of our rabbits dead as well. I noticed one of the rabbits nearby... it was Bluebell. The poor buck was thrashed and left to bled. His eyes was closed, as his fur were tarnished.

"Oh Bluebell..." I reached for him and place my hand upon him.

Katie saw him lifeless. She was about to scream, but Bigwig covered her mouth. "Shh! There are few still in there, searching for survivors."

"Than we must find them, before the raiders do!" I exclaimed.

The three of us began to search for any signs of survivors. From tunnel to tunnel, burrow to burrow, we still have found no luck of any survivors. I became increasingly worried to fearing that we may be the last ones.

"THOMAS!" Katie screamed out of fright. Bigwig and I came to her. She was bursting into tears from the sight of the burrow. We were staring at the sight of a massacre! I saw Hyzenthlay's body was badly beaten, even Bigwig noticed that bucks were on top of her... apparently she was raped, before death. Shaken... it was starting to feel like Afghanistan was coming back to me. I than saw Hazel's body was lying on the ground, with his throat slit. Fiver... he was barely alive, as he was holding on what is left of him.

"Fiver!" Bigwig rushed over to him. "Brother, what happened?!"

Katie and I came to him as well. He was able to speak, but weakly. "The sorcerer... from our dreams. He returned with his own army... I..."

"Fiver?" I tried to keep him conscious.

"He's looking for you, Thomas... and Katie. The marks of a elil... they're..." Fiver than slipped away from life.

"Fiver... no." Bigwig became distraught. Katie cried, as she buried her face in Bigwig's fur. My hands become shaken from disbelief and tragic irony. My rabbit animality seems to be fading, as my wolf is emerging. I could hear invaders are surrounding the burrow.

I turned around and rage took over me, when I saw my enemies. My combat knife was with me, as I upholstered it. My body was took control, as I began combatting with those bucks and human invaders. My knife lunges into their chest and heads, as well performing slashes and slices. I cannot recall how many I have fought, but it was bloodbath.

After minutes of slaughtering of my enemies, I found myself outside of the warren. I felt like I woke up from a bloody rage. Even suffered an injury that was close to impaling the mark on my shoulder. I realized that Katie and Bigwig were missing.

"Katie! Bigwig!" I called for them. There was no answer. I continued to call for them and wandered around the warren's entrances... but no luck of finding them.

Thomas. I turned around to see someone that Fiver mentioned from our dreams. "Why, Thomas... don't you remember me?" It was Shang Tsung! However, his appearance and voice was different. It wasn't the same Shang Tsung that we encountered. However, I than remember it was the same one in my dream.

"SHANG TSUNG!" I was ready to charge at him, until I noticed he was restraining Bigwig. "Bigwig!"

"You attempt to strike me, you'll kill this rabbit instead." the sorcerer spoke.

"Thomas... kill this... hraka!" Bigwig was being choked. Shang Tsung started to use his magic that caused me to groan in pain from the mark. I screamed, as I fell to the ground. "Thomas!"

"Apparently, your human is too weak to save you." Shang Tsung taunted.

"He has more heart and soul, than you, you embleer-" Bigwig's voiced began to gurgle from entry wound that the sorcerer has done. Bigwig's body dropped to the ground to see something was impaled into him.

"BIGWIG!"

Shang Tsung wiped the blood from his hands. "Now that rabbit won't be able to interrupt me again."

"YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL KILL YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH!"

"Our fight will come... until you stepped upon my realm." He was starting to vanish into a portal behind him.

"COME BACK HERE AND FIGHT!" I slowly walked, until I fell next to Bigwig.

Once until we meet again and face combat... your warren's souls are mine... until you win!

"NOOOOO!" I screamed, as everyone's souls were being taken.

"You could win this, son." Bigwig gurgled, as his soul was being taken. "Find a way... to free us..." Once his soul was taken, he drops dead.

Tears fell from my eyes, as I screamed in pain and in sorrow. I reached towards Bigwig's body and buried my face in tears and blood. All unexpectedly, I fell out from being conscious.
