Chapter 1

Jackson laid down on his bed fast asleep. Suddenly, he jolted away and let out a scream.

"Jackson!" Vince hollered, running into the room.

"Sorry," Jackson said.

"Another nightmare?" Vince asked, sitting on Jackson's bed.

"Yeah," Jackson replied.

Vince lied down on top of the covers beside Jackson.

"You don't have to stay," Jackson said.

"I want to," Vince replied. "I've been having nightmares too."

"No," Jackson said. "I meant you don't have to stay in the house with me. It's been a week since the whole Howard thing. Don't you miss living with Tucker?"

"Yeah," Vince replied. "But I've been thinking. It's traditional for the happy couple to wait until after the wedding to move in together once they're engaged."

"Since when are you one for traditions?" Jackson asked.

"I decorate the Christmas tree every year," Vince said.

Vince and Jackson laughed.

"Are you nervous about getting married?" Jackson asked.

"A little," Vince replied. "But I'm mostly excited."

"I'm excited for you too," Jackson said.

"Thanks," Vince said. "That means the world to me."

"Vince?" Jackson asked.

"Yes, Jackson?" Vince asked.

"What do you say we go on a vacation?" Jackson asked. "I mean an actual vacation. Not going halfway across the country just to be put to work."

"Are you ever going to let that go?" Vince asked.

"No," Jackson replied.

"Where should we go?" Vince asked.

"I don't know," Jackson said.

"I have an idea," Vince said.

"We're not going to the Muppet Museum in Mississippi," Jackson said.

"Okay," Vince said. "How about the Selena Museum in Corpus Christi?"

"It's too cold to go to Corpus," Jackson said. "I want to go when I can enjoy the beach."

"Selena Museum," Vince said in a fake pathetic tone.

"How about Disneyland?" Jackson asked.

"Yes!" Vince cheered. "Disneyland!"

"Okay," Jackson said. "Calm down. If you go, do you promise not to fangirl?"

"Yes," Vince replied.

"Okay then," Jackson said. "We're going to Disneyland."
