Season 0; Ep 1

A/N: Sorry for deleting everything an reposting it. This will be the last time I promise. This one is going to be more organized than the last one and this will be the last time I'll do something like this, I promise.

Who am I? You sure you wanna know? The story I'm about to tell isn't for the faint of heart. If someone said it was a happy little tale, if someone told you that I'm just some ordinary guy without a care in this world, they're wrong.

In the visble morning in Gotham City, a bus was driving a set of students and it stopped to show a skinny 14 year-old kid who wore glasses.

Peter Parker, an orphaned kid who lived with his aunt and uncle was waiting for a school bus. As it stopped Peter got in and started to walk down the aisle. But soon someone tripped the said boy and he fell forward with his glasses falling off.

'And I thought this day was going to be bad,' Peter thought.

The bus dropped off the students at Gotham University. As everyone got out the teacher stood in front of the students as he started to talk, "Gotham Academy Freshmen," he said, "No wondering. Proceed direc—" he saw a ball being thrown towards another student and caught it, "Knock it off."

He sighed as he proceeded to talk, "Remember, it is a privilege to be here. We are guests at Gotham University Science Department, so behave accordingly."

As Peter looked around he soon caught sight of a beautiful redhead with blue eyes. Barbara Gordon the girl who was the daughter of Gotham City Police Commissioner. He saw that she was with her group of friends as they started walking towards the Science Department. Peter started to walk with the group as a Rolls Royce pulled up at the curb.

Inside the Royce was a driver and two similar looking men. One was a teenage boy and a businessman who seemed to be the boy's father. Harry and Norman Osborn were approaching Gotham University to drop off Harry at his school field trip.

"Charles, can we drive around the corner please?" Harry asked.

"Why?" Norman asked, "the entrance is right there and we're in one of the most dangerous areas in Gotham."

"Dad these are semi-private school kids," Harry argued, "I'm not showing up to the Field Trip in a Royce."

"Why? Do you want me to trade in my car for a Jetta just because you didn't want to go to every private school I sent you to except for this one?" Norman asked.

"It wasn't for me," Harry said.

"Of course it was, son," Norman said, "don't be ashamed of who you are."

"I'm not ashamed of who I am," Harry said, "it's just…" he started to trail off as he looked ahead away from his father.

"Just what Harry?" Norman wanted to know what his son was thinking as it concerned him.

Harry sighed as he shook his head and said, "Forget it." before opening the door and leaving the car. He started to walk and called out for his friend.

"Pete!" Harry said.

Peter Parker looked at Harry and was happy to see him, "Hey Harry."

As the two reunited, the two started to walk towards their schoolmates, but stopped as they heard a voice call out for Harry.

"Harry!"

The two looked back to see Norman carrying Harry's backpack.

"Won't you be needing this?" Norman asked as he handed Harry his bag.

"Thanks, Dad," Harry said. He soon introduced Peter to Norman, "Uh, Peter may I introduce you to my Father Norman Osborn."

Peter and Norman shook hands as Norman said with a smile, "I heard so much about you."

"Great honor to meet you sir," Peter said.

"Harry tells me you're quite the science guy," Norman said, "you know I'm something of a scientist myself."

"I read all your research on nanotechnology, really impressive stuff," Peter said. Norman was amazed at Peter's pursuit in knowledge as he asked Peter, "And you understood it?"

"Yeah," Peter said, "I wrote a paper on it."

Norman smiled as he said, "Impressive. Your parents must be really proud."

"I live with my aunt and uncle, they are proud," Peter said.

"Hey you two," the teacher said, "Let's move!"

Before the two teens joined, Peter shook Norman's hand one last time, "Nice to meet you."

"Hope to see you again?" Norman asked.

"Of course," Peter said.

As the two teens started to walk towards the University Peter leaned in towards Harry.

"He doesn't seem that bad," Peter said.

"Yeah not if you're a genius," Harry said, "He wanted to meet you all this time, dude. You may be my adoptive brother if you keep it up."

The two started laughing as they finally caught up with the group of students who were entering the Arachnid and Anthropology area of the Gotham University's Science Department. As they were walking to the laboratory, a woman was giving them a tour.

"There are 32 known species of spider in the world," the woman said, "they are in the order aranay."

As they were further in the lab Peter was amazed at the microscope. Harry was curious about it as well.

"Do you know what kind of microscope it is?" Harry asked.

"Electron microscope," Peter said.

"It seems pretty advanced," Harry said.

"It's THE most advanced one in the eastern seaboard," Peter said, "developed by Wayne Enterprises and given to Gotham University."

"Do you think it rivals LexCorps'?" Harry asked.

"No," Peter said as the two continued to listen to the woman.

"Arachnids from all 3 groups possess varying strength which help them in their constant search for food," the woman said. The group soon stopped at one cage while showing a spider, "For example, the Delena spider family sparassidae. Has the ability to jump to catch its prey."

Peter took out his digital camera, "Is it okay for the school paper?"

The woman nodded as Peter took a good photo of the Delena Spider and started to move on with the group.

"Next we have the Net Web Spider," the woman said, "spins an intricate shape whose strands have a tensile strength proportionate to the type of high tension wire of a bridge building."

Peter was about to take a photo but was bumped by someone. Harry noticed that and got angry, "Leave him alone."

"Or what?"

"Or his Father will fire your Father," Flash Thompson said as he soon grabbed Harry's collar, "what's Daddy gonna do, sue me?"

The teacher soon caught wind of this and stopped the scuffle, "What is going on? The next person who talks will fail this course. I'm not kidding."

As the woman was talking the teacher told the students to catch up with the group.

"This grass spider hunts using a set of reflexes with nerve conduction velocities so fast that some researchers believe that it borders on precognition," the woman said, "an early awareness of danger, a Spider-Sense."

While she was explaining, Peter and Harry were looking at the mini cages and saw a spider.

"Look at that spider," Harry said.

"Some spiders," Peter said, "change color so they can blend in with their environment, it's a defense mechanism."

"Kinda like chameleons," Harry said. Peter nodded as they started to keep up with the group.

"Over 5 extraneous years," the woman said, "some of Project Cadmus's researchers have created cross-species spiders creating a new spider for us to research and gather data on."

As the woman continued to talk Peter was walking up to the glass to see the genetic super-spiders. There were supposed to be 15, but 14 were present.

"Excuse me," Barbara said, which slightly startled Peter as she was beside him, "there's 14."

"Sorry?" the woman said.

"One's missing," Barbara said.

Peter agreed as the women looked into the empty cage.

"I guess the researchers are working on that one," the woman said. As the group of students were continuing, Peter was looking at the spiders and soon looked at Barbara.

"Hi," Peter said, "may I take your picture, I need one with a student in it?"

Barbara nodded, "Of course."

"Awesome."

"Where do you want me?" Barbara asked, "over here?" she asked as she got to the side.

"Yeah," Peter said, "yeah, that's great."

"Don't make me look ugly," Barbara said while laughing.

Peter said, "That's impossible."

He soon started taking some of Barbara's shots as Peter looked at the photos and liked how they turned out.

Peter looked at Barbara and gave her a grateful smile, "Thanks."

Barbara nodded as she walked off, but as soon as she joined her friends, Peter felt something bite him which left him yelping in pain. Peter soon saw a spider on the floor crawling away and looked at his hand to see it was a spider bite.

"C'mon Peter," Harry said. Peter nodded as he followed Harry.

In Oscorp industries there was a demonstration of someone testing a glider and exo-suit.

"We've solved the horizon glide," Mendel Stromm said, "and the Multi-G balance issues."

"I've already seen the glider!" General Wade Eiling said, "that's not what I'm here for."

Norman and his assistant were walking in as he saw the Military officers.

"General Eiling, good to see you," Norman said, "Mr. Balkan, Mr. Fargas."

"Norman," a man in a wheelchair greeted him with a smile.

"Mr. Osbron."

"Always a pleasure to have our board of directors pay us a little visit," Norman said as he approached everyone spectating.

"I want to see the progress report on Human Performance enhancers," Eiling requested.

"We tried vapor inhalation on rodent subjects," Stromm said, "they showed an 800% increase in strength."

"That's excellent," Norman said.

"Any side effects?" Eiling asked.

"In one trial, yes," Stromm said, he wanted to go on to explain, but Norman stopped him.

"It was an aberration," Norman said, "all other tests have been successful."

"And the one that wasn't?"

"Violence, aggression," Stromm listed, "and insanity."

"And what do you recommend?" Eiling asked.

"That was only one test," Norman said, before looking at the general, "with the exception of Dr. Stromm our entire staff certifies the product for human testing."

"Stromm?"

"We need to take the whole line back to formula," he said.

Norman was concerned as he said, "Back to formula?"

"Dr. Osborn," Eiling said, "I'm going to be straightforward with you. I've never supported your program. We have my predecessor to thank for that."

"Norman," a board of director said, "the General gave the go-ahead to S.T.A.R Labs to build a prototype of their exoskeleton design. They test in two weeks."

"If your performance enhancers don't have a successful human trial by that date," Eiling said, "I'm going to pull your funding and give it to them."

In the residential area of Gotham an old man was fixing a light bulb.

"And the lord said let there be light," he said, "and viola, there is light! 40 soft growing watts of it."

"Good boy," an elderly woman said, "God will be thrilled. Just don't fall on your ass."

"I'm already on my ass May," the old man said, "when a planned senior electrician is laid off after 35 years what else would you call it. I am on my ass."

"Hand that dish, Ben," May said while pointing, "the green one."

The old man known as Ben walked to grab the green bowl and hand it to May.

"Corporations are downsizing the people and increasing their profits," Ben said.

"Ben, you'll get another job somewhere," May said, "and you shouldn't being saying about all corporatoins. If it weren't for the Wayne Scholarship, Peter wouldn't be able to attend Gotham Academy."

"You're right about that," Ben said as he grabbed a newspaper that contained job openings on the main headline it said that despite Batman being off-world with the Justice League, Crime is still at a low rate for the first time in decades, "Well let's see what we have here. Computer salesman, computer engineer, computer analyst, my gosh even computers need analysts these days. May I'm 68 years old, I'm too old for computers and I have a family to provide for."

Aunt May smiled as she brought a pot of food over to the dining table. She soon embraced Ben, "I love you and Peter loves you. You're the most responsible man I've ever known. We've been down and out before, but somehow we pull through."

They heard the door open and saw Peter enter the door.

"Hey sweetie," May greeted her nephew Peter back home, "You're just in time for dinner."

"Hey how are you doing, bud," Ben asked, "how was the trip?"

Peter hung his jacket on a rack as he said, "I don't feel great, I'm going to sleep."

"You don't want a bite," May asked.

"No thanks, had a bit," Peter said as he went up stairs.

"Did you get some pictures?" Ben asked.

"Uhh, yeah," Peter said, "I'm sorry but I really need to sleep."

When Peter entered his room he started to feel cold and his skin was pale. He started to fall on his bed as he started to grab his blanket and started to wrap himself around it to keep him warm. He slowly started to fade out of consciousness as he slept through the night.

It was nighttime in Oscorp. Norman and Dr. Stromm was in the lab doing a human trial for the performance enhancers. Norman took out a vial and put it in an advanced humidifier.

"Dr. Osborn please," Mendel was begging Norman to stop and just wait, "the performance enhancers just aren't ready. The data doesn't justify this test and I'm asking you for the last time, we can't do this."

Norman was typing some data as he said, "Don't be a coward. Risks are a part of Laboratory Science."

"Look, let me reschedule," Stromm said, "with a proper medical staff and a volunteer. If you just give me two weeks."

Norman approached a laying surface as he took off his coats and shirts.

"Two weeks?" Norman asked, "In two weeks the contract would have lost the contract to S.T.A.R. Labs and Oscorp will be more dead than LexCorp. Sometimes you gotta do things yourself. Hand me the promochlorin perosine. It will begin the catalization when the vapor hits the bloodstream."

Mendell did as he was told and handed Norman the vial.

"40,000 years of evolution and we've barely tapped the vastness of human potential," Norman said as he drank the hold thing and put it away. He got on the belt when Dr. Stromm put on the restraints. After that Mendell went to the computer that controlled the belt and typed on it to make it go in an upright position inside a chamber that closed right away. As it went upright Stromm commenced the vapor inhalation and saw the vapor encasing the chamber Norman was in. Stromm couldn't see what was happening to Norman for a good few seconds and looked at the computer to see Norman's vitals and it showed his physicality improving exponentially. But he soon looked at a heart rate monitor to see that Norman's BPM was increasing.

He soon noticed that Norman was thrashing around and was concerned. While led to Mendell venting the gas chamber and after the vapors were all gone, Norman flatlined. Mendell got into the chamber to try to help the dead Norman. He started doing chest compression and looked to the heart rate monitor to see a steady rate.

But soon saw a wild looking Norman who was strangling him. The now deranged man brought Stromm closer to him as he asked, "Back the formula?" before throwing the lab assistant into a monitor with chemicals spilling on him and the computer exploding. Norman soon pounced out of his chamber and roared.

Peter woke up and got up from his bed to get his glasses. He put them on and noticed that his vision with them on was blurry. So he took them off and saw his reflection perfectly without them. He put his glasses up one last time just to confirm and his suspicions were correct.

"Weird," Peter said as he put them away.

Peter was about to turn but noticed his physique. The pants that used to be oversized were now fitting him. He put on some height and a few pounds while at it. He had a well-toned body and started to flex his muscle as Aunt May knocked on his door.

"Peter?" May asked through the door.

"Yeah?"

"Are you alright?"

"Uhh, I'm fine," Peter said, but he wasn't thinking that. He felt awesome. He was taller and was extremely fit.

"Are you better this morning, any change?" Aunt May asked.

"Yep," Peter said while looking at himself in the mirror with a big smile on his face, "big change."

"Well hurry up," May said, "you're going to be late."

"Right," Peter said while putting on his school uniform. As he was putting on his clothes, he saw Barbara getting ready for school, but he knew that he had to get ready for school so he put on his clothes and went down the stairs with energy, scaring Aunt May and relieving Uncle Ben.

"I thought you were sick," Ben said.

"I'm okay now," Peter said, "I feel a lot better."

Peter went to get his backpack and said goodbye to his aunt and uncle.

"Hey Michelangelo," Ben said, "we're painting the kitchen right after school, got it?"

Peter put on his sweater while he said, "Sure thing Uncle Ben, don't start without me."

"And don't start up with me," Ben said while giving Peter a thumbs up.

This led to Peter smiling as he left the house. As Peter got out of the house he saw Barbara in the car with her Dad as they drove off to school which led to Peter walking to his stop and going to school.

In a penthouse where Harry and Norman were staying in, Harry was walking down the hall and noticed that Norman was laying on the floor. Out of instinct Harry ran to his Dad.

"Dad!"

Norman started to wake up as he noticed his son was checking on him.

"What are you doing on the floor?" Harry asked.

"I don't know," Norman said while trying to remember.

"Have you been here all night?" Harry asked.

"Last night I was…" Norman looked at Harry, terrified, "I don't remember."

"Mr. Osbron," his assistant went to Norman as she said, "Dr. Stromm is dead."

Norman was in shock, "What?"

"GCPD found his body in the lab," the assistant said, "he's been murdered sir."

"What are you talking about?" Norman asked.

"And the flight suit and the glider," she said, "it's been stolen."

In the Gotham Academy, Peter was sitting eating his school lunch while listening to some music to pass the time. He looked around and saw Barbara walking towards her group of friends. As she passed by Peter he felt his head buzz strongly.

In that moment, Barbara slipped on a wet patch and Peter caught her and brought her up with him as he caught her tray first, an apple, carton of milk, a sandwich and a salad on top of the carton. Barbara saw Peter's reflexes and was amazed.

"Great reflexes," Barbara said, "Thanks."

"Of course," Peter said as he let go of her and handed her her tray.

Barbara looked at Peter, "You got green eyes. I didn't notice without your glasses, did you get contacts?"

"S-Sort of," Peter said.

Barbar smiled, "See you around Peter."

As she walked off Peter sat down and rested his hand on the tray. It was sticking on his hand and he tried to shake it off and as it did it hit someone on the back of the head. The person got up and it turned out to be Flash.

"Parker?"

"Oh shit," Peter said as he got up and walked away.

As Peter was walking down the hall he felt his head buzz. It all led to him dodging a punch from Flash.

"You think you're funny don't ya, Parker?" Flash asked.

"Flash, it was just an accident," a girl said.

"My fist broke your teeth, that's the accident," Flash said.

"I don't wanna fight you," Peter said.

"I wouldn't want to fight me either," Flash said as he got in a boxing orthodox stance. He threw a jab at Peter who dodged it with ease. Flash decided to throw another on, but got more frustrated as Peter dodged it with ease. So because of that Flash threw a hook which led to Peter doing a limbo and turning around.

Barbara and Harry ran down to see what was happening. The two noticed that someone was about to attack Peter from behind, but as the second attacker was coming from behind Peter did a backflip over him.

"He's all yours man," the second attacker said. Flash got angry and shoved him away as he attacked Peter with a jab, a hook, and then an uppercut, but all became fruitless as Peter dodged them all and did a front kick that sent Flash flying back a few meters.

After the fight Barbara and Peter looked at Peter.

"Peter, that was amazing!" Harry said in amazement.

Peter was scared and started to run out and went into an alleyway. In that alley he looked at the hand where the spider bit him days ago and saw it was healed. He soon turned his hand around and then at the wall. He put one hand on and then another as he started to slowly crawl up the wall like a human spider. He didn't notice how high he was climbing until he looked down and started to whoop in excitement as he got on the roof. He decided to do a full-sprint and found out he was able to run incredibly fast and wasn't tired yet and as he saw the edge of the rooftop he jumped and did a front flip. He soon landed on another rooftop and did a roll. Words cannot describe the feeling he was experiencing in the moment as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop in Gotham City and crawled up some of them which led to him running up the wall.

As he was jumping off of the last roof he flicked his wrist out, thinking he was able to spin webs, but saw that he didn't and started to fall.

"AHHHHHHH!"

*THUD*

Peter fell into a dumpster and soon crawled out of it. He felt a sharp pain on his back muscle as he got out of the dumpster.

"Oh, that hurts," Peter said as he started to walk back home while massaging his back.

When Peter got back home it was really late at night, he opened the door and saw that it was quiet as he saw a part of the kitchen was already painted. Peter cursed at himself as he knew he forgot about the chore he was going to do. Peter soon saw a note.

-Michelangelo! Meatloaf and veggies in the oven!-

After he ate his dinner, Peter decided to take out the trash and saw Barbara sitting outside. Barbara heard noise and saw Peter.

"Peter," Barbara said, "are you okay? You freaked us out."

"Sorry," Peter said, "is Flash okay?"

"He's just happy you didn't break any bones in his body," Barbara said.

Peter nodded as Barbara walked towards Peter.

"Do you have any plans during the summer?" Barbara asked.

"Yeah actually," Peter started to say, "I'm about staying over at Harry's during that time and getting a summer job. What about you?"

"Well," Barbara said, "I'm thinking about taking summer courses at Gotham University and doing some Cybersecurity courses."

Peter nodded as he liked Barbara's plan, but before they could talk an older man came out. James Gordon, the commissioner of GCPD and the one who works with Batman, saw her and Peter talking.

"Barbara," Jim said, "it's time to head inside the house."

Barbara nodded as she got in, but not without saying goodnight to Peter who said it back. Jim had Barbara go in first and looked at Peter who waved at him.

"Have a goodnight, commissioner," Peter said as he got in.

"You too."

Peter was about to walk into his house and—

"Peter."

Peter stopped as Jim gave him a smirk, "It's Jim." Peter nodded as he entered his room and went on his phone to call Harry.

"Hey Pete," Harry said, "what's up?"

"Can I come over?" Peter asked.

"Sure," Harry said through the line, "I'll see you then."

A/N: Thanks for reading, Peter's Spider-Man suit is the cover picture and he will have this suit until season 4. This is an introductory arc to how Peter became Spider-Man and how he joins the team, if you couldn't tell, the intro arc is based of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 1, but very loosely as you can tell by some character changes and new scenes.
