Hey y'all! Welcome to Home for the Holidays! I decided, with Christmas coming up, I want to write a holiday story! This little idea popped into my head the other day and I just had to write this story!

Disclaimer: Glamrock Freddy and Gregory all belong to Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool Studios. Gregory's mom belongs to me (there's no info on her, so I am writing how I think she might look and such)

Warnings: Fluff, mild swearing in later chapters

Gregory watched as the show came to an end, a frown on his face. Fazbear Entertainment hadn't had time to repair the other animatronics in time for opening after their week of maintenance, so they had stuck Glamrock Freddy on stage with temporary bandmates in the forms of an indigo rabbit, a white fox, and blue wolf. The company explained to customers that the other animatronics had a bad week off and needed a bit more time for repairs, though Gregory knew the truth. Thankfully, the whole Glitchtrap and Vanny incident was done and over with, but Gregory now had a new worry.

Gregory knew very well that today was the last day before the month-long holiday season for the pizzaplex. During this time, employees were generally allowed to time off to be with their families, even with the mechanics coming in a few days to work on the original band members. However, Gregory also knew that, because the temporary band members were just that, temporary, he also knew that once the doors closed that Glamrock Freddy would be all alone during the holidays since the temporary animatronics would be shut down and reset back to their original purposes. Gregory didn't want his best friend to be all alone, especially during the time of year that was supposed to be super happy.

As Gregory watched the band interact with the other kids and families, he got an idea. He knew it would probably get him in big trouble if anyone found out, but it was the only thing he could think of to make sure the animatronic bear wouldn't be spending the holidays by himself. Gregory looked around, then made his way to the gift shop near the mall's entrance hall. Once inside he quickly made his way to the clothes section and began looking through the clothes there, picking out a pair of sweatpants and an extra large hoodie. When he brought the items to the register the cashier raised an eyebrow.

"I think these are a bit big for you kiddo….." she said, smiling. Gregory smiled nervously, though he tried to hide his nervousness. "Oh, uh, they're not for me..… they're for my dad..… He grew up with the original restaurants, so he asked if I could get him something from the pizzaplex since he couldn't really get anything from back then..…." he lied, despite his father having not been in his life for some time. "Ah, a Christmas gift! Good choices! It's supposed to get much colder, so these sweats and this hoodie will definitely provide your dad with some warmth! They're super soft too!" the cashier said, smiling widely as she rang up the clothing.

"That'll be 23 dollars and fifty cents!" she said, placing them into a bag. Gregory dug into his pockets and pulled out the money, thankful his mother always made sure to give him enough money for whenever he went to the pizzaplex. The cashier took the money and gave him the clothes and receipt. "Happy holidays!" she said, waving as he left. Gregory waved back, then quickly made his way to the green rooms. He knew the animatronics would be there now that the show was over, so he hurried to Glamrock Freddy's room and smiled when he saw the bear in there. He entered and waited for the other kids to eventually leave before approaching the animatronic. The bear turned and smiled upon seeing the boy, kneeling to his level.

"Gregory! How are you?" he asked, his deep voice gaining a softer tone since it was just him and Gregory in the room. "Hi Freddy! I'm good! Um..…." the brown-haired boy looked at the bag in his hands. "Is something wrong?" asked Glamrock Freddy, his expression turning to worry. "Well….. The holidays are coming up, and I don't want you to be alone during them… so, I was thinking you could come spend the holidays with me!" said Gregory, gesturing to the bag. The bear raised an eyebrow, his eyes widening when Gregory pulls out the hoodie. The animatronic's tanzanite-colored eyes quickly glanced around.

"Gregory, I can't sneak out-" he said, his voice lowering to be similar to a whisper. "Please Freddy! I don't want you to spend to holidays here all alone!" Gregory begged, pouting a bit. The bear sighed, shaking his head as he closed his eyes. He quickly looked around again, then turned back to the 10-year-old in front of him. "You're a bad influence on me Gregory..…. alright, but we must wait until almost closing…. The green rooms are one of the first places the security guards check when making sure no customers are hiding..…. I have to make sure they see me entering the back areas from my green room before we can even attempt to leave…" he said, chuckling at the big grin that appeared on Gregory's face.

"Right! I'll be waiting for you by the restrooms by the entrance!" said Gregory, hugging the bear before running off. Glamrock Freddy chuckled again, then gleefully greeted the other kids that came in to see him. He knew what Gregory was planning could be somewhat dangerous, but at the same time he couldn't say no to the young brunette, especially after the trauma the boy had been through. Besides, he had never been outside the mall, so he was curious about what is was like. He got excited thinking about it, but kept it under control so the employees wouldn't get suspicious.

Soon his ears twitched as the speakers around the mall crackled to life. "Attention mall visitors! Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex is now closing. Please make your way to the front of the building where you will be given novelty glasses, a voucher for one free soda refill, and where you will sign a document releasing us of all liability for any harm or theft of personal goods that happened during your visit! Have a great night and we hope to see you again tomorrow!" the voice announced as the lights began shutting off, leaving only the security lights on. Freddy rolled his eyes at the stupid legal talk in the announcement, but he waved farewell to the kids and waited a few minutes as the security guards began making their rounds, entering the back area once the guard that searched his green room gave him the all clear.

Freddy quickly made his way through the maze or tunnels and back rooms, eventually managing to sneak through a door and enter the bathrooms near the front of the mall without being seen. Gregory was waiting for him and grinned when he entered, quickly taking out the clothes and helping him into them. They got the pants on with no issues, but when Gregory got the hoodie out they came to their first problem. "Shoot! Even with this being the right size, I don't think it'll fit over your shoulder pads!" the brunette said, frowning as he looked at the bright red shoulder pads the bear was sporting.

Glamrock Freddy glanced at his shoulder pads, then shocked Gregory by easily removing them. "The mechanics made them removable in case repairs are needed… as well as cleaning purposes… we can place them in your bag, that way if the entrance guards check it it'll have a bit of weight in it..…" the bear suggested, handing the pads to Gregory while he himself pulled on the hoodie. Gregory held the shoulder pads, surprised by how light they felt. They still had a good bit of weight to them, but they were much lighter than he expected and felt like they were made of some sort of alloy instead of full metal. The brown-eyed boy put them into his bag and looked up at his friend, smiling as Freddy pulled up the hood to cover his ears and put on the mask that came with the hoodie, as the hoodie was a special winter piece the company made.

Gregory looked his friend up and down, doing a double take as he realized they had run into another problem…. Or, rather, two problems. "Uh… Freddy…" said the brown-eyed male, frowning.

Glamrock Freddy followed the brunette's eyes, looking down at his feet, which were completely exposed while the rest of him was covered with the black hoodie and pants. "Oh…. Well that's a problem..….." he said, mentioning the obvious. The gift shop would be closed by now, and even then no shoe would fit over the bear's large feet; they had gotten lucky enough with the sweatpants and hoodie. Glamrock Freddy knew that if they didn't find a way to cover his feet, they would be immediately discovered.

He looked around, trying to find something they can use. "What are we going to do Freddy?" asked Gregory, looking around as well. He had to get to the entrance with Freddy or they would be locked in. the bear thought a moment, then snapped his fingers as a thought came to him. "Gregory, there should be extra trash bags in that janitorial cabinet. The janitors never lock it for some reason, so we can use a couple of those bags to cover my feet!" said the bear, smiling under the mask. Gregory looked over at the cabinet. It was high up, so any normal person couldn't reach it without a ladder. Glamrock Freddy helped him open the cabinet and get the bags, helping the younger male tie them around his feet so they were covered.

"Alright, let's go…" said the orange and beige bear, following Gregory out of the bathroom and to the doors. Thankfully, there were still many people heading to the exit, so they fell into the crowd and acted as normal as possible. When they reach the doors they're stopped by the employee that was there. "Did you two have a great time here at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex?" the employee asked, smiling as he handed Gregory a glass and voucher. "Yeah, it was fun!" said Gregory, frowning when the employee brought out the legal disclaimer. "Sir, I'm a kid… I can't sign that..….." he said, looking back up at the employee. "Oh, I know silly! Your dad can!" the employee said, gesturing to Glamrock Freddy, who had his hands in the pockets of the hoodie to hide them.

"Uh, he's not my dad..…." said Gregory, though he immediately regretted it when the employee's face changed to a look of concern and suspicion. "Really now?" the older male asked, studying Glamrock Freddy closely. "He's my uncle!" said Gregory quickly, coming up with what he hoped was a believable excuse. He then looked around and gestured the employee closer, whispering when the employee leaned down. "He's not from around here and can't read English, so I don't think it would be right for him to sign something he can't read….." Gregory said, making up a story on the spot. The employee looked at him, then Glamrock Freddy, then back at him and put the paper away.

"Normally we have to have everyone sign, but I'll make an exception this time..… hope you two have a great night!" said the employee, waving as Gregory thanked him and left with Glamrock Freddy. "Was that necessary?" asked the bear, glancing back at the doors. "I had to come up with something! If I didn't, they would've found out it was you and forced you to stay!" said Gregory, looking around the parking lot before spotting the bus. "Come on!" said Gregory, running to the bus with the bear. They made it before the bus could close the doors and got on, Gregory putting in money for Glamrock Freddy and then sitting in the back with him. "We'll be home soon….. for now, we can just relax….." the brunette said, stretching. Glamrock Freddy nodded and looked out the window, watching as the bus left the pizzplex parking lot and ventured into the unknown.
