"Yes, G Gundam fans…" a man announced as he sat on a chair in space… somehow. The raven-haired man wore a pink button down shirt under a burgundy suit and an eye-patch over his right eye and above his mustache. "The story has not arrived at the end. In fact, it's just the beginning." An image of another raven-haired young man emerged, wearing a black spandex suit with a red circle in the middle. He also wore a thick red headband. "For those just tuning in, let me recap: Domon Kasshu was a well respected Gundam pilot who was part of the Shuffle Alliance." A raven-haired boy emerged, wearing a yellow spandex suit with had two lines paralell and across his chest. "Neo China's Sai Saici." Next to emerged was a blue-haired young man with a patch of pink hair. He wore a blue spandex suit with a gold star. "Neo America's Chibodee Crockett." After that was a giant brunette muscular man wearing a green spandex suit and harness connected at the chest. "Neo Russia's Argo Gulfski…" Last was a redhead young man with hair that mimicked an eagles beak. He wore a red spandex suit with a blue sash across the chest and white sleeves for his arms and legs. "…and Neo France's George de Sand. They were the leaders of peace. The Gundam Fight, held in Neo Hong Kong, was a brutal tournament. The final fight involved Domon and his Burning Gundam and Master Asia and his Master Gundam. Of course, this hid the real crisis that involved the Dark Gundam that held Domon's brother, Kyoji. After the Gundam Fight, the crisis ballooned as Ulube Ishikawa, the primary man who framed Domon's father, Dr. Kaizo Kasshu, and murdering his wife, Mikino... He declared war to prove his power, including being imbued with the DG cells. However, thanks to a freed Dr. Kasshu's words, Domon destroyed the Grand Master Gundam and declared his love to Rain Mikamura. Now that you've caught up, I am here to tell you that story continues as a new soul is about to enter." All that was seen was a silhouette of a youth that had something on the shoulder and holding a bill of a baseball cap. "Who is he? How did he get here? How can he play a role for what's to come?" With that, the man swung his suit off. "LET'S GET THIS STARTED!" He ripped the eyepatch from his face and had a microphone on hand. "GUNDAM FIGHT, ALL SET! READY? GO!"

Chapter 1: Pokémon and Gundam! A New Battle Arises!
The sun began to rise on a clinic with a large red "P" in front. Through a window, the sun shone on a raven-haired boy asleep. While he snoozed, a spike ball stood on top. It was a white baby creature wearing an eggshell with red and blue spots. The crown was softly spiked as it jumped up and down on the boy. ("Ash, wake up!") it shrilled. ("Ash, wake up!") The shrills had the boy stirred and found the eggshell creature.
"Togepi?" he groaned as he sat up, wearing a black t-shirt. "What are you doing up so early? And where's Pikachu?" Togepi wasn't bothered about waking Ash from his sleep. Someone else was.
"Togepi!" snapped a girl. Ash and Togepi turned to a redhead girl in a sleeveless t-shirt and denim shorts held up by suspenders. A tuff of her hair was prodded up in a ponytail. She hoisted Togepi from bed. "Don't you know it's rude to wake somebody up like that?" Togepi blinked to the scolding. Ash sighed, thinking Togepi didn't know any better.
"Misty, is Pikachu with Tracey?" he asked.
"No, Nurse Joy's double checking him out," Misty corrected. Ash blinked, startled to the name given.
"I thought Nurse Joy made sure before we clocked out last night," he recalled. At first, all Misty gave was a snorting giggle.
"She did, but I think Nurse Joy has a thing for Pikachu, and not just yours," she hinted. Another sigh came from Ash, but it followed with his giggle.
"That's a relief," he smiled as he shuffled out of bed, wearing green pajama pants. "Well, I'm up and about."
"At least…" muttered Misty. "You're still riding high after Charizard is obeying you, huh?" Ash irked and stood straight up.
"Can you blame me?" he replied. "Ever since helping Melvin and evolving into Charmeleon, Charizard hasn't been on his best behavior. After all, he made me lose in the preliminary round at the Indigo Conference." Misty sighed to the claim.
"That be like if I was competing with Psyduck and he was completely useless!" she compared. Ash gave Misty a smug, sensing her mistake.
"And… how much of an effort have you given Psyduck?" he questioned. That made Misty jump back a step, surprised to be called out for a creature's care or an apparent lack thereof. Ash walked out and to a lobby where a pink-haired young woman in a nurse outfit spotted Ash with five red/white marbles and a yellow mouse with a lightning-shaped tail by her.
"Good morning, Ash!" the pink-haired spotted, the loops of her hair swaying slightly. "I was going to call you on the speakers but I guess this works. Your Pokémon check out." Ash came to the desk and the mouse jumped onto his shoulder, now wearing a blue short-sleeve light jacket over a black t-shirt and denim pants.
"Thanks, Nurse Joy," he praised. "Say, Misty said that you like Pikachu…" Before Ash could continue, Joy brought out a tiara that had the mouse's large pointy ears on it. Ash laughed to the sight of Joy with the ears. "I think I found my favorite oddball Nurse Joy." The compliment had a bashful Joy blushing.
"Much more than my second cousin in Gringy City," she agreed. "By the way, Pikachu..." She lifted Pikachu up and gave the mouse a kiss to the forehead which caused it to squeal joyously. After a laugh, a raven-haired teen boy with a similar headband to Domon's appeared. He wore a teal t-shirt and beige shorts.
"I was wondering when you'd wake up," he voiced. "I have breakfast ready." The mouse squeaked, ready to go for food.
"Pikachu, you and Togepi have your own breakfast," Ash reminded. Pikachu sighed, knowing Ash wanted to eat. As they had milk, toast and fruit, the raven-haired teen brought out a map of islands to Ash, Misty and the creatures.
"So, where do we go now, Tracey?" asked Misty. Looking at the map, a few suggestions came up.
"There's Kumquat Island, which is supposedly housing a Pokémon Gym," Tracey started as he pointed at a large island. "There's also Ascorbia Island over here… and Shamouti Island right here." Ash saw three tiny green spots where Tracey's finger hovered when he named the last island in the middle of the map.
"What about those three islands around Shamouti?" he wondered. Tracey's eyes locked onto the islands in question.
"I'm not sure," he shrugged. "If we go there, we could learn about it." Misty thought Ash would rather go to a different island than one that had a Gym.
"Are you saying that you want to take a break from Pokémon Training?" she questioned. "The Ash Ketchum, the great Pokémon Trainer who can't wait to be a Pokémon Master?" Ash grinned to a comeback against Misty.
"Or Misty Waterflower who would pass off a chance to find Water Pokémon to be a great Water Pokémon Master?" he returned. Misty froze to Ash's retort.
"I knew Ash had a comeback somewhere in him," Tracey determined with a smug. Misty palmed her face in anguish.
"Anyway, I do want to get some training in with Charizard now that he's behaving again before we attack the last Pokémon Gym," Ash plotted.
("I'm ready for it!") squeaked Pikachu. Misty knew Ash wanted to feel the control of Charizard.
"Like I said, he's feeling high after Charizard started listening again," she sighed. Outside, Ash tapped a button on one marble, morphing its size to a ball.
"Charizard, I choose you!" he shouted as threw the ball. What opened was a dual-horned orange lizard with dragon-like wings and a flame lit on the tail. It let out a howl. "Charizard, ready to do some training?" Charizard growled confidently to the idea. It lowered its body before softly growling to Ash. "Oh, you… want me to board you?" Charizard nodded while Misty, Tracey and Togepi watched. "Okay!" Accepting the offer, Ash jumped on the back of Charizard's neck before the lizard flapped its wings and took to the sky. "WHAAAAAAAA-HOOOOOO!" Feeling the flight for the first time, Ash and Pikachu hung on while the others watched.
"I'm glad Charizard's now listening to Ash," Tracey smiled. The flight carried them to a tiny island where apples grew. With one fell swoop, Charizard clawed a few apples before tossing them over its shoulders. In a snap, Ash released his hold on Charizard to catch the apples.
"Nice toss!" he complimented. Ignoring Ash, Charizard saw something in the sky and took flight, startling Ash and Pikachu to which the human pocketed the apples before gripping Charizard again. "Hey! What's going on!? Where are you going!?" Seeing Charizard's sudden change, questions arose.
"Wait!" gawked Misty. "Where's Charizard going!?" Tracey gritted the sight, believing something had gone amiss.
"I guess Charizard's not fully cooperative!" he assumed. Ash and Pikachu held on, the fingers on Ash's finger-less green gloves starting to whiten. Before long, they entered the clouds… and vanished. "Now what!?" No one had an answer. In the clouds, Ash held Charizard between his legs and one hand on the neck while the other hand was on his cap. Pikachu wasn't letting go of Ash's shoulder. Ash saw the clouds shift colors from the sky blue to dampen gray.
"Charizard, what's with you!?" he shouted. While trying to understand Charizard's behavior, the clouds' density thinned, visibility grew and Ash and Pikachu began to look around. "What's going on? And what's up with the weather?"
("Good questions…") squeaked Pikachu. As they circled around a hill, a giant robot emerged from their right. The white robot had blue plates around the arms and red plates on the should guards. It looked like a white shogun. Retractable yellow claws locked to the wrists and jet propulsion wings in the back. ("WHAT THE-!") Ash and Charizard turned to the giant robot, noting the crown of four gold spikes.
"WHAT THE HECK IS THAT!?" he gawked. Charizard took the size as a challenge and took a deep breath. "Charizard, no!" Ignoring, Charizard breathed out a heavy flame that scorched the armor of the robot… but when it stopped, there was nothing there: no singe, no melted steel. "Nothing!?" The robot's arms moved to block any other attack. Ash and the creatures steeled themselves.
"Is that a flying dragon?" a voice from inside spoke. Ash and the creatures blinked to what the robot said.
"Is the robot... talking?" replied Ash. "Weird... but it did ask." Steeling himself, he faced the robot. "Charizard's not!" The robot seemed unsure of the response.
"Let me get a better look," he offered before a hatch opened, revealing Domon Kasshu. This gave Ash and the creatures pause, seeing him in that rubbery spandex suit and the rods that were at the joints.
"You are controlling this robot!?" he realized.
"I am," Domon clarified. "Though, I gotta say, for something that's not a dragon, that flame was worthy of one!" Charizard growled softly, accepting the compliment. Then…
"Domon!" a young woman shouted. Everyone looked to the ground to see a young brunette woman in a cyan jacket over a pink blouse and skirt and wearing short boots standing on the ground. "Let's wrap up the session and see the visitor!" Domon heard the woman and nodded.
"Alright!" he yelled down. "Let me power down Burning Gundam!" Domon turned to Ash and the creatures. "You can go and meet Rain while I make sure this is shut down properly!"
"Yeah… sure!" accepted Ash. He patted Charizard in the back of its head. "Let's land and hopefully get some answers." Obeying, Charizard descended slowly before landing and Ash and Pikachu disembarked. The young woman approached Ash and the creatures.
"I know Domon didn't use Burning Gundam on you but are you all okay?" she asked. Ash and Pikachu turned to the woman first.
"We are…" advised Ash. "Charizard just gave us our first ride now that he and I just fell on good terms." The woman blinked to the name as she turned to Charizard.
"So, you're the one belching that flame on Domon's Gundam?" she assumed. Charizard snorted, wishing his flame made a mark of some sort.
"He's still a bit rough but we should be able to work together," Ash warned.
("I still wonder what he saw,") Pikachu thought. Hearing the mouse, the woman gasped. She came to Ash but just to pluck Pikachu from Ash's shoulder. She gave the mouse a big but firm hug.
"Aren't you just so adorable!" she cooed as they nuzzled cheek-to-cheek. Domon appeared again, this time wearing an ivory jacket over a green long-sleeve shirt and dark brown pants.
"Oh, that's what you're interested in, Rain?" teased Domon. Rain giggled, enjoying the company Pikachu gave her.
"But he's so friendly," she smiled. Pikachu spotted a gold ring on Rain's ring finger on her left hand before eyeing one on Domon's left ring finger as well. He turned to his owner.
("Ash, these two have rings!") he squeaked and pointed. Ash and Charizard saw the rings as well.
"Hold on..." he voiced. "Are you two married?" Domon and Rain snickered to Ash's discovery.
"Not yet," Domon denied. "In a few weeks, we will. I'm Domon Kasshu, and this is my fiancée, Dr. Rain Mikamura." Ash and the creatures now understood the two better, engaged but soon-to-be married.
"Well, congratulations!" he praised. "I'm Ash Ketchum. Pikachu and Charizard are two of my Pokémon." Pointing to the creatures, the Pokémon, Domon and Rain seemed to get a picture of who Ash is.
"So, you're Pikachu?" she cooed.
("I am, indeed!") squeaked Pikachu. Suddenly, snorting came from behind Ash. Domon looked to see a white horse with a black mane behind Ash and sniffing him out. Ash quickly turned to the horse. Startled, Ash took a step back while Charizard waited for his owner to make a move.
"Fuunsaiki…" warned Domon. Remembering what was picked up, Ash pulled one of the apples Charizard plucked and offered it the horse. It sniffed before biting into it. Tasting the apple, the horse neighed loudly before lowering its head. Ash believed he earned the horse's trust and petted its head.
"Wow, Fuunsaiki likes Ash!" awed Rain.
("Fuunsaiki?") repeated Pikachu. Domon pawed Fuunsaiki as he turned to Ash.
"Friends at first sight," he joked. "Anyway, how about you join us. I'm sure there's a lot to discuss."
"I bet," Ash agreed as he looked to the sky. Wherever Ash and the Pokémon crossed from, it wasn't visible from his vantage point. They left, now stuck in a new world… but their stay may have value for time to come.
