Have you ever in your life once thought
What led me here, what set of life changing mistakes caused me to get here
Well, it was what our protagonist thought when he was getting eaten alive by hyenas in the wild because of a study
Why did he pick zoology?! He was incredible at chemistry and biology, but noooo, ZOOLOGY WAS A GREAT CHOICE
And now he found himself sitting next to an orange haired child in front of two adults
"Aww, just look at Summer and Lulu together, Jerry" said a pale white skinned woman with blond hair
"They're adorable, Beth" said Jerry with a smile
Beth and Jerry were staring at two children sitting in a crib
Summer Smith, their elder child
And a black haired child, Lorimer Smith, the younger one
Grandchildren of Rick Sanchez and older siblings of Morty Smith
So upon this realization, Lorimer did what any sane person would do in his situation
Cry...a lot
"Oh come on, you didn't even cry when you got out of my stomach" said Beth tiredly as she picked up baby Lorimer before trying to calm him down
Rick and Morty was fun to watch, but not fun to experience
Like the hyenas that ate him alive, the ones watching it happened probably enjoyed it too
And so, with all his mind, Lorimer hoped of a way to get himself as safe as possible from any Ricksy shenanigans

Lorimer learned...a lot about himself since becoming part of the smith family
The good news is that he inherited some of Rick's intelligence. It only happened with the stuff he was good at before he died but he could work with that
He could protect himself
The bad news however
"GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!!!"
Lorimer and Beth were in a pet store and Lorimer wasn't very fond of an animal in the shop
"Lulu, come on, it's not gonna hurt you" said Beth calmly "just look at it"
"DO NOT LULU ME!!! THAT THING IS THE SPAWN OF SATAN HIMSELF! DON'T BELIEVE THAT INNOCENT CHARADE IT IS A DEMON STRAIGHT FROM HELL IN FLUFFY CLOTHING!!! NOW GET IT AWAY FROM ME!!"
"It's a pug, Lorimer, a pug" deadpanned Beth
The bad news was that he had a fear of all dogs, just dogs, no bears, no badgers, just dogs
Hyenas aren't even dogs! It was stupid to fear them
But is he gonna listen to rational thought and deal with his fear in normal healthy way?
Absolutely not!
"NO! Get it away from me or I'm degrading you from mom to Beth!" Said Lorimer angrily
"All this because of a dog?!" Said Beth in confusion
"A dog is the gatekeeper of the underworld!" Said Lorimer angrily
"Greek mythology is not a valid argument! You can't use it to justify your fear of dogs!" Yelled Beth
"Watch me!"
"Well, watch me ground you!" Said Beth angrily
"What?! I didn't do anything! You started this!" Yelled Lorimer
"You fear dogs!"
"That's not a valid argument!"
"AND GREEK MYTHOLOGY IS?!"
"...Fair point, but please get the dog away from me!"
At least he was smart

"Okay, you three, your grandpa is gonna live with us from today" said Beth with a smile "so i expect you guys to treat him nicely, okay?"
"Yeah yeah, whatever" said Summer not caring at all as she stared at her phone
Beth turned to Lorimer who was wearing a grey button shirt with black pants
"I'm gonna try my best" said Lorimer calmly, putting a smile on Beth's face before speaking again "to stay as far away from him as possible"
A frown appeared on Beth's face as soon as she heard that
"I sometimes hate how much you resemble him" said Beth with a frown before turning to Morty
While Beth was talking with Morty, Lorimer decided to go to his room
Once inside, he went and opened a hidden compartment in next to his bed and pulled a out an off looking gun with a vial of purple liquid attached to it, similar to Rick's portal gun. Inside the liquid was an odd looking mushroom
Lorimer took a deep breath as he stared at the gun before speaking
"It's on, Rick"

Before you ask, the gun is not a portal gun. The guy is good at biology, zoology and chemistry
It does something very different
