Six years ago: Game Center Crown

A small arcade on the streets of Abazu-Juban seems like an unassuming place to the normal human. Posters of various games, and even a couple of a man by the name of Mr. Satan, World Savior adorned the walls. Teenagers and Children playing the various arcade games, throwing yen coins in the slot to beat the various challenges. Employees in white shirts and red aprons serving food, drink and smiles to the customers as the atmosphere contained fun, laughter and at times frustration. One would say that losing to a final boss at a Video Game can take the energy out of some people. People continued to eat, play, and generally have a good time not including the occasional disgruntled patron who couldn't beat the challenges of the various racing, adventure, arcade style games, shooting games and other fun distractions which gave the place its revenue. Though many of the patrons did ogle at the picture of the man believed to save the world from some disaster a mere few days ago and as the day passed more and more talked about that man. Even some of the workers got in on the gossip about the hero.

"You know what, we all almost bit the big one," said one of the workers as he was putting money into the register.

"Yeah, but Mr. Satan took care of that giant bug man," another replied as he was preparing a parfait for one of the patrons. The worker handed the parfait to the young couple, who smiled as they shared the dessert with their two spoons.

"I think we should have a holiday dedicated to Mr. Satan," proclaimed one of the young male teens as he looked at the poster. Many more statements praising the man came to the forefront, though there were a couple of detractors who scoffed at the notion of his victory.

"What about the chronic stomach aches!," one boy proclaimed.

"Or the fact that he got smacked into the mountain on world-wide tv!," another said, who looked to be a bit pudgy. The crowd of teenagers got restless at the two people who dare question the validity of the claim and promptly chased them out of the arcade, screaming out as their very lives were threatened. Though ultimately there were no injuries because the speed of the two boys ran from the mob prevented any blows from landing. For the rest of the day, people played the games, praised the hero, and ultimately most of them enjoyed themselves.

The night began to approach and the arcade closed for the evening. The last of the patrons leave and the workers clean up. Since this is Japan, the people take particular pride in their cleanliness and the few staff workers left over clean every inch of the arcade. After a good two hours, the workers leave the Game Center Crown, turn off the lights, and make sure to lock all the doors before leaving for the evening.

However, underneath this seemingly normal little arcade, lied a secret. Two small cats, who somehow broke into the closed business snuck around to one of the arcade cabinets. One of the little felines was a white cat and seemed to act like a lookout while a small black-purple cat leapt onto the cabinet and mashed a few buttons. The cabinet opened up and the two cats went down a secret staircase. The staircase disappeared as the arcade game went back to its original position, leaving no trace for anyone to suspect.

The two cats went inside and the lights turned on as they entered. An elegant and highly advance appearing room appeared as multiple screens lit up around the central terminal. The two cats hopped onto the terminal and pressed only a couple of virtual keys. A title appeared on the central screen, one which looked to spook the felines with crescent moons on their foreheads. The title read, "The Cell Games," which the black-purple cat took a visible gulp.

"Luna, you sure you want to watch this? You've been avoiding this video for some reason," the white cat stated, concerned for his fellow feline.

"Artemis...I know I've been putting this off ….part of me wants to know the truth about what happened after the cameras went off...b-but," Luna said as she started to sob. The white cat went closer to Luna and nuzzled her a little to try and comfort her. The female cat looked at the male with tears all around her eyes. Artemis looked into the eyes of Luna as he tried to see the degree of emotional pain that his compatriot was suffering.

"Is it the little boy?" Artemis asked as he looked into Luna's eyes. The emotional cat nodded as tears flowed a little more down her cheeks.

"It's not fair, asking a small child to bare the burden of the world like that. I just can't seem to bare to see what horrors happened to him on that day. He's not even a Sailor Guardian!" Luna confessed. Artemis nuzzled her a little more and nodded at his fellow cat.

"I'll be here with you Luna. It could be a comfort to the boy knowing that at least some people know the truth about what happened. Even if he wanted to keep this a secret, I'm sure if a few knew the truth, it could be of benefit to him," Artemis said to Luna in earnest. The female cat sucked up some tears that threatened to leave her eyes and nodded in resolution at the white cat. The buttons were pressed by her small paws as she fast forwarded it past the battle with the blond haired man and the man face bug creature, through where the man gave up and handed the responsibility to his son. The video fast forwarded past the assault of the little Cells and a giant androids attempt to blow himself up. Luna kept her emotions in check as the video went forward through the whole fight between the group and the bug-man's blue offspring up to the point where Mr. Satan threw a robot head to the boy and it landed within speaking distance of the boy's feet. The young man with tears around his eyes, much like Luna was just a short time ago, let his surprise show as he looked at the disembodied metal head with the human-like face.

"Gohan, let it go. Drop your restraints. I know you are gentle, and do not like to hurt others. It is not a sin to fight for the right cause. You have the strength, my scanners sensed it. There are those which words alone will not reach. Cell is such a being." said the metal head.

"Blech, I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm going to do this my way," Cell replied with a sinister smile, enjoying everything he had done to try to coax the power out of the boy. The robot head said one last statement to the young lad.

"Protect the life that I loved," and a moment later the head was crushed by the foot of the bio android.

"Yet another fighter you could've saved," Cell said in a matter of fact tone. Gohan paused for a moment, but that length of time was short lived as a primal scream pierced the air. The earth quaked as the boy began to change. His hair now stood straight up, his muscled bulged ever so slightly as the energy flowed through the boy. It seemed that young Gohan even grew a couple of inches as the result of this power up, which sent dust and debris flying everywhere.

Luna and Artemis looked at the scene in awe as the dust settled. Worldwide TV cameras were out of course due to this power up, but the highly advanced computers and whatever cameras went with them must've been protected by some sort of powerful magic because what stood in front of the two moon cats was a fully pissed off ten year old with bio-electricity sparking all around him and his golden aura. Whatever tears that were there disappeared from the pressure that the boy was emitting. All other fighters stop in their tracks as they look at the now fully powered Gohan, with a certain green skinned fighter even uttering out the boy's name in amazement.

Cell was astonished at first, but then began to laugh at his pre-teen opponent. He even mentioned something about how Gohan wouldn't beat him by simply powering up, but all of that bravado left him the moment Gohan walked up to Cell and snatched the small bag out of his hand. Cell reached for the bag, but the young boy seemed to disappear and then reappear in front of one of the little blue Cell Jrs. The little creature grinned at Gohan and tried to attack, but the boy simply side stepped it and brutally decapitated the creature to the astonishment of all of the adults at the scene and the two cats watching the fight.

"How did he..." was all that Artemis could utter out as the headless Cell Jr went down and then his whole body explode since all its life force left its body. The cats also heard one of the grown up men, the one with the widows peak hairstyle, mention something on how they spent all that time fighting those little Cells only for Gohan to kill one with one hit. Another of the fighters, the one with the wildest of blond hair, praised the little fighter. The statement did garner a smile from Luna, as she was somewhat relieved that the fight was not going Cell's way at the moment.

Gohan looked over his shoulder at what he would target next. Two Cell Jrs, who were in close proximity to a small bald fighter who was face down onto the ground. The boy went to the two little Cells in a flash, surprising nearly everyone.

"But how," said the widows peak haired fighter.

"He did it right! He increased his strength without loosing speed!" the wild haired blond fighter mentioned.

The two little Cells looked to be scared of the young boy, but both found their nerve as one of them lifted up the bald headed man and put one hand to his neck. The little Cell grew out his fingernails suddenly, as a threatening gesture that he was going to kill his victim if Gohan went closer. Gohan extended his hand out, as if to say he was about to blast the two of them.

"Do it Gohan, forget about me!" urged the weakened fighter. One of the little Cells saw the hand and used it as a signal to get out of there. The other Cell continued his threatening gesture, but after Gohan lowered his hand, the Cell dropped his victim and went up into the air. The creature threw a couple of blasts at the boy, neither of which did anything to the young fighter. The boy appeared right above the little attacker, then at the ground near the green skinned fighter to set the bald one down and then behind the little monster. Cell Jr number two turned around only to eat a hard kicked to the gut, which caused him to explode into nothingness from the sheer force. The remaining five Cell Juniors surround the boy, much to the delight of their creator.

"Let's see how you do against all five of them!" boasted Cell as the boys were ready to jump the Super Saiyan 2. Without hesitation, the five little terrors charged the boy. The boy dodged their attacks as if they were way too slow and countered with his own strikes. One of those creatures was not so lucky as the last strike caught him in the gut, causing him to disappear. The other Cell Juniors backed away for a bit before one of them got brave and tried to attack him from behind. Gohan threw up his senzu bag at the same time the others tried to jump in, only to be knocked to their backsides by the boy. The boy put his hands in the air and pushed the remaining four little terrors away as if to show his superiority.

"He pushed them away with nothing but his energy," remarked the widows peak haired man people knew as Vegeta.

"And look at him, he's perfectly calm, it's as if he hasn't warmed up yet," remarked the wild haired man.

The green-skinned fighter went down and lifted up the blond haired man in the orange gi. The one in the orange gi managed to smile a little despite his fatigue.

"Are you ok, Goku?" the alien asked.

"Yeah," the man replied just before Piccolo lifted him off the ground and let the man brace himself onto him,"He's gonna do it Piccolo, I told you so." The green man growled in response, perhaps giving away some hope that Goku was not wrong about the boy, and then mentioned Gohan's name in astonishment.

Two of Gohan's opponents broke off and charged up more powerful attacks. One threw a disk of energy, which Gohan dodged easily by going upwards. The other little Cell put two fingers on its head and fired a corkscrew shaped beam, while another cupped its own hands and chanted 'Kamehameha' before firing a beam. Not waiting for the results, those same one's went up a little higher and both did a triangle shape with their hands.

"Tri-Beam Ha!"

The two fired their beams and after the smoke cleared it was shown that Gohan took no damage. Gohan fired out several beams out of his body as his opponents tried to clear the area. Two beams struck two little Cells, to which Gohan snuffed one of those particular ones out with a body splitting uppercut to the torso. The other stricken Cell landed on the ground, only to have the golden-haired child behind him. The boy drove his foot underground before throwing a kick, which snuffed that little Cell Jr. into nothingness. A split second later Gohan flew past the two remaining Cell Jrs and snuffed them out with a kick to the torso on number 6, and a right cross to the head of number 7.

Cell stood their with his arms crossed, gritting his teeth in frustration at the failure of his spawn to do anything to Gohan. The boy stood in front of Cell with bioelectricity sparking off of him as if to wait for the green creature to attack.

"Pass these around Trunks!" ordered Gohan as he threw the bag of senzu beans toward him. The wild haired boy caught the bag with one hand.

"Sure," Trunks replied before going to a few of the fighters to give them a bean. The teenager, at least that's what Luna had deduced, powered down to his normal form with lavender hair before landing near the short, bald one.

"Hey Krillen, you ok?" Trunks asked without getting a reply," don't worry, i'll fix you right up."

The lavender haired boy placed the small bean into the seemingly knocked out fighter. After a second for the bean to register into the man's brain, the little man chewed on the bean. His injuries were instantly healed and he got up under his own power. Trunks gave the other two fighters, another spiky haired fighter and another fighter who had three eyes.

"T-Trunks," Krillen stammered out," Gohan is.."

"I know, he's incredible isn't he?" Trunks replied to Krillen. The other two got back to their feet as Trunks and Krillen spoke. The four of them couldn't believe what they saw with the young boy. It was as if the little boy suddenly became a man right in front of them. Tien uttered out something to that sentiment as they continued to watch him.

"I think we should get out of here. I'll give Dad, Piccolo and Goku a senzu bean. Then we leave this to Gohan," Trunks suggested. The other one's didn't argue as they distanced themselves, while Trunks gave the three others the magic, healing beans. Piccolo looked at the young boy that he had trained at four years old, alongside the boy's father, who couldn't help but smile a bit at what Gohan had become.

Gohan and Cell decided to get the fight on proper at what looked like an all out blitz at each other. Cell was throwing a flurry of strikes in earnest, only for Gohan to dodge every single one. Gohan reciprocated with throwing a few of his own, to which Cell did the same. Those that could follow the fight however, noticed that Gohan didn't seem to put as much effort as Cell into hitting him. One would say those particular strikes were so that Gohan could get his timing down if nothing else. The two of them were punching each others fists and feet were clashing against each other, sonic booms accompanying each collision.

Goku and the other non-humans of the group watched as the fight went on right above their heads. Piccolo, in particular, had an epiphany as the two fought. This revelation had something to do with the strategy of the previous fight before Gohan was given the task of fighting Cell. Looking at Goku, a little glare escaped the eye of the green-skinned one.

"You knew you couldn't win, you fought first so that Gohan could see how Cell moves, didn't you Goku," Piccolo deduced toward the older blond warrior. Goku grinned a little in response, indicating that his friend was correct. After a moment, the battle ensued which was a battle of colliding fists again. More sonic booms followed before Gohan flashed in front of a couple of goofy dressed pro wrestler looking fighters. Cell thought he had Gohan and yelled out 'You're mine' as he went to strike Gohan. Only thing that Cell connected with was the ground, and his only result was a small, shallow hole. Cell looked up and saw Gohan with the costumed fighters, the cameraman with no camera and the TV host with no microphone. Gohan dropped the group onto the ground and just looked down at Cell, like he was just a bug. The boy then lowered himself to the ground. Cell, at first was angry, but then gave a smirk to his opponent.

"I haven't shown you my true power yet," Cell then started focusing his ki and pushing his internal ki higher and higher.

"I've waited for you to turn it up," Gohan replies as Cell pushes his power. After a few minutes, which made many people scared that the world was about to end, Cell stops his pushing and puts back on his confident smirk.

"Impressed boy," taunted Cell.

"Is that all you got," Gohan replied, completely unimpressed by Cell's display. The reply was a rather quick punch to Gohan's face. The speed of the hit caught the boy flush on the cheek and moved the upper part of his body back a bit. To everyone else's surprise however, Gohan didn't seem fazed by the hit. Cell gathered his nerve and went to throw a second punch, but he never got the chance to land the hit. As he drew back, Gohan's fist instantaneously crashed onto his midsection, which seemed to take all the air out of the android. Gohan removed his fist from deep into his opponents belly. Cell gathered himself a bit before Gohan suddenly hit Cell with a hard uppercut. The force made the fighter do a backflip and land on his feet. The bug man couldn't hide the damage as he staggered before going down onto his knees, doubled over in extreme pain. Luna and Artemis both were cheering the boy on as he landed both shots.

"There ya go kid, show that bug man who's boss!" shouted Artemis at the screen as he did not like Cell one bit. Luna laughed a bit at her fellow cat's excitement.

"It seems little Gohan has a fan in you Artemis," Luna pointed out as she couldn't hold back her excitement as well.

"Well you know what, that Cell has terrorized the world for far too long. I'm just glad that someone could step up to him without the help of the unawakened guardians," Artemis replied, pointing out that none of the Sailor Senshi have been found yet.

"That boy is proof that not everyone needs Guardian Powers to do what's right," Luna pointed out before the two cats decided to watch the rest of the fight.

Cell regrouped as he looked at Gohan. The boy started walking slowly toward the android, who didn't like that one bit. The bug man flew toward the boy and started throwing kicks toward his head. Gohan blocked each and every one of them, each kick not moving him an inch. Cell stopped the futile gesture only to receive a kick to the face in return. Cell flew back several feet before landing on the ground, digging up the dirt as he slid several more feet. Cell stood up and froze in fear as Gohan resume his walk toward him. Desperate, the android leapt into the air and distanced himself a good bit from the battle.

"He's running away?" Artemis asked. His question would soon be answered though when Cell stopped in the air and cupped his hands.

"Actually it looks like he's charging up an attack," Luna pointed out, then both cats freaked out when it looked like the energy ball increased rapidly and Cell laughed maniacally.

"Ka me ha me..Dodge this brat and the Earth will die! Go to Hell brat HA!" Cell roared as he brought his hands forward and fired a rather large beam of light. The sky was dark with a glow of cobalt blue as the beam went toward Gohan and the planet. While everyone else seemed to be freaking out or at least flabbergasted, the boy remained eerily calm.

"Ka me ha me," he chanted, not even bothering to cup his hands until the last moment. In one quick motion he brought his hands forward and shot his own powerful ki beam, pushing against Cell's rather effortlessly. The two beams hurled toward the monster and swallowed him before he could do anything. The light went into the atmosphere and traveled through space. The result left behind was gruesome to say the least. The android was missing a leg, an arm, about half his upper body and the two points off of the top of his head. Cell gritted his teeth as he was probably feeling extreme pain, as one tends to do when missing body parts. A couple of seconds and a Gohan smirk later, the creature regenerated the damage, but was panting like he was catching his breath.

The group dug out of the ocean of sand and dirt that was left behind by the beam clash. As everyone attempted to dust themselves off, Goku looked over at Gohan and took a deep breath. The elder blond fighter felt that this fight should reach it's conclusion any moment now as it was proven that Cell was clearly outclassed.

"Gohan, finish him! You have the power! Destroy him!" Goku urged his son. Gohan turned his head toward his father's direction.

"I don't think it's suffered enough!" shouted Gohan startling the cats watching the screen and the group at large. Luna in particular was in shock, not expecting such a grim statement to come out of a small boy. The video was paused by her just so that she could process what happened. Artemis nudged Luna, as if to get her attention.

"A little boy, doing the job of a grownup," Artemis pointed out to Luna. The female cat's sadness seemed to return.

"Artemis….I just hope that this doesn't cost him dearly," Luna replied before taking a deep breath. After around ten seconds or so Luna unpaused the video, hoping that her statement rang true.

Cell screamed mightily at the boy and began to push his power, to the point of bulking up to a grotesque degree. The more monstrous form slammed himself onto the ground, his feet shaking the earth for a split second. Cell had enough and threw a punch at Gohan in a blind rage. The boy dodge the strike effortlessly as well as many other attempts to punch and kick the boy with all his strength. Gohan kicked the power weighted Cell back down to the ground, causing one of his eyes to bulge and him to convulse despite landing on his feet. After a moment, little Gohan flew into Cell and landed a hard flying kick straight into the gut, causing the Android to convulse and drool even more. The damage was so extensive that the monster began to feel something coming up into his throat. Cell put his hands to his mouth, as if to contain whatever threatened to be vomited out of him, but could not as slowly something began to come out of that same orifice. Cell regurgitated something that was covered in saliva and the creature's own purple blood.

What came out of it was something that astonished the group and make the two cats even more nauseous than they already were at the sight of the wrecked android. Artemis even wanted to see if they had bags to throw up in before ultimately the urge subsided. The two cats paused the video and saw that what was lying there was in fact a young blond woman. She looked to not be much older than what the cats considered the typical starting age for a Sailor Guardian.

"Ok I have questions….many, many questions….and probably a lot more questions on top of that," Artemis stated, clearly freaked out about the whole situation.

"Artemis settle down! I have questions too and they will probably never be answered!" Luna replied trying to calm her friend down. Truth be told, Luna had probably just as many things she wanted to ask, but she knew that she had to continue watching this video. Luna then moved the picture around and saw that Cell had changed because of this action. Gone was the strangely human face on a muscular, slender like bug man and what replaced him was someone more bulky with no nose, big white eyes and a much bigger mouth.

"Looks like little Gohan made him devolve into some sort of a more bestial, base form," Artemis surmised after he had calmed down a bit. Luna pressed a button and the fight continued to play out.

Gohan walked over toward semi-perfect Cell. The boy had made the decision to go in for the kill. The devolved being was frozen in fear as the boy got closer. Fear turned into desperation however as Cell began to power up. He pushed his ki until he grew in size. The android however began to swell into a monstrously bottom heavy fat monster. Soon Cell became a swollen, round ball of a bug man as he laughed in glee. Gohan gritted his teeth and was ready to attack.

"No, no little Gohan. One touch might set me off. Then the Earth and all life on it will be destroyed! Let's call this game a draw!" bragged Cell as he was bound and determined to take everyone with him in death. Gohan soon realized his folly and sank to his hands and knees.

"Damn it all! Why didn't I just finish it!" Gohan howled as he slammed his fist into the ground and tears streamed down his face. For all he knew the Earth was doomed because of his arrogance. A small boy with the weight of the world on his shoulders and he felt that he had failed. Luna wept for the boy as she would not wish this type of thing even on her worst enemy. As Gohan continued to lament, Goku appeared very close to Cell and placed his hand on him.

"Gohan, you did me proud son. You gave it your best," Goku simply said with a smile to his son. Gohan was frozen as he locked eyes with his father. The father placed two fingers on his own forehead and the boy instantly knew what was about to happen.

"Goodbye son," Goku said with no regrets as he disappeared with the swollen android. Gohan knew instantly as he screamed for his father to come back. Gohan cried harder and harder as he felt because of him that his father sacrificed himself. Gohan slammed his fist more into the ground as he shouted at how stupid he felt that he was and how much he failed. Krillen went over to the lamenting boy and knelt to his level for a short embrace.

"Gohan, it's ok. Let it all out," Krillen urged as holding grief on the inside can be toxic to anyone with an ounce of feelings. The boy stood up and rejoined the others, along with a powered down Vegeta. The boy went back into his Super Saiyan form. Krillen took it upon himself to bring the regurgitated girl with him as he joined group were comforting each other and offering support to young Gohan as none of them blamed the boy for what happened.

Luna's tears flowed as she saw what happened. The boy lost his father, and blame himself on what happened. Artemis nudge Luna to try to comfort her once again. The white cat placed a paw on her shoulder as she cried.

"It's not fair to ask a boy to do a man's job," Luna said.

"I know Luna. Even the best of warriors can sometimes feel they have everything under control, only to lose it by chance. I bet Gohan never knew that Cell could be capable of self destruction," Artemis said.

"I know Artemis, its just that…." Luna couldn't even finish her sentence as a beam came out of nowhere and struck the one known as Trunks in the chest. The boy fell silent with a six inch hole where his sternum and heart used to be. Maniacal laughter filled the air as power surged from the spot where the shot was fired. The dust cleared to reveal Cell in his perfect form, complete with his own bio-electric aura. Gohan immediately went into Super Saiyan 2 and readied himself to at least avenge his father's death.

Vegeta watched as his son fell. Flabbergasted, his shock turned into rage. Vegeta powered up to the max that he could at the moment, turned back into a Super Saiyan and charged towards Cell. The bug man scowled, as if he was offended that the saiyan would do such a thing. Vegeta fired a beam, which made contact. The Prince didn't even wait and then went on a beam shooting frenzy. Vegeta then laid down some threats and went into another beam throwing tirade at the android. The man took a breath only for Cell to come out of the dust cloud and swat him extra hard onto the ground, completely incapacitating Vegeta. Unconsciousness would not take Vegeta, leaving him to suffer agonizing pain.

"Say hello to Goku in Other World. Then again you are probably going to hell," Cell said as he fired a blast to finish the prince. All of the sudden Gohan flew in front of the blast, it catching him on the shoulder and knocking him down. Gohan stood up, only to have no use in his dangling left arm.

"S...sorry Gohan…." Vegeta apologized, much to the shock of the young saiyan," I'm just in the way."

"Vegeta," Gohan said to him before turning his attention to the powered up Cell. Cell laughed at the state of both saiyans as he felt that he was now the one with the upper hand.

"Well look at the mighty Gohan. Down an arm and dumb enough to save that worthless prince. I wonder how he feels knowing that I snuffed the life out of his baby boy!" Cell bragged as he felt his new power flow. Gohan took a deep breath and began to power up. Cell scoffed at Gohan's attempt to resist despite having only one arm.

"Well, looks like you want to go down in a Blaze of Glory! Ok consider it my final gift to you Gohan! A warriors death! Along with your entire world!" shouted Cell as he cupped his hands, brought them to his body and began to charge up a very powerful beam. Gohan brought back his one good arm and began charging his beam. Vegeta was able to muster up enough strength to fly away as the two combatants fired their powerful attacks.

The beams clashed, creating an energy dome where they met. The struggle was long and mighty as Cell pushed his power to take control, only for Gohan to push back and bring it to even. Cell however could feel the boy's power fade and the android gave one final push. He felt that Gohan was about to be destroyed as Cell began to overtake him. An energy blast hit Cell from behind however, breaking the concentration of the bio android. Cell looked over and it was the wounded Vegeta, keeping himself in the air and panting heavily. Gohan realized that was his chance and poured his full power into his attack. The sudden rush of power was too much for the android as Gohan walked toward him, pushing the beam more and more into the monster. The power of both beams crashed into Cell, causing him to be utterly destroyed. Screaming out into oblivion was Cell as his body disintegrated into nothingness.

Gohan watched as the blast went out into space and collapsed from exhaustion. The boy went back into his normal, black haired form as he rolled over to his back. Panting and laughing could be heard from the victorious little fighter as he completed his task. Luna decided to stop the video then and there. Nothing else to her was important after the battle ended.

"Who would've thought Luna? A little boy saved the world from that creature," Artemis pointed out.

"And yet the populace gives that loudmouth Hercule Satan credit. I swear these people would rather bury their head inside their damn capsules rather than face the truth!" Luna scowled

"I know Luna, and I don't think the world's people are ready for powerful heroes like him. They probably won't be ready when we find the guardians. Think about it, that oaf taking credit could allow people like Gohan and Sailor Moon to work in the shadows and live normal lives outside saving the world. There may be a time where the populace will be ready for the truth, but I don't think that time will come for at least another 1000 years," Artemis replied. Luna nodded in agreement. The female cat then had this to say about young Gohan.

"I would at least like the opportunity to thank him one day. Maybe someday, when we find the Guardians, he will be a powerful ally. We won't force him to help, we at least owe him that much."

A/N: Ok that prologue is done. I thought I would never finish it. I might've paraphrased the Cell Games some, but I hope at least I did it some justice. Thank you for reading and any feedback will always be appreciated.
