If I tell you the cards of Yugioh, indeed has magical powers, would you believe it?

I know you may have heard about his before, but trust me, this cards indeed have a power beyond the control… Even if you are holding your cellphone while getting ready for your death by a car crash.

Well, let me introduce myself. My name Caesar, and well the only thing we… I mean, I remember was… I was coming home after another session with the psychologist, her name by what I remember was something similar as Vanilla… Camilla? Danilla, I don't know.

The memories shuffled and there was a blank in some parts of it. I just remember I was playing Duel Links on my cellphone, and I was getting ready to be on tier 20 on the KG to pass the first phase of the championship… I really wanted some UR's of dreams.

Everything was going fine during that day. I even stopped the car at the red light, and I was sure I would give up the duel if the light turned out green. But death comes in unexpected ways… Trust me, I saw a car get out of control and it went straight in my direction. It was so quick I couldn't even have time to react…

The last thing I remember was my cellphone glow a light after looking at the character losing against mine. But… strange… the light about the winning was red instead of white. And then, everything went black.

"Caesar." A voice came nearby my side, making me open my eyes to him. I turned my face off and by my surprise, it appeared a single boy which I never knew about him… Maybe that was a dream, and the tiredness was really welcoming to go back to bed. So why not allow me to do that?

The a little boy once again was trying to call me, and he was even pocking me to make me move from my bed.

"Go away. I'm sleeping." At that moment, the boy nearby my side suddenly jumped into my bed and called my name again.

"Caesar, it's time for your medicine." The little boy was shaking me while I opened my eyes wide open. Then I saw the little boy looking in front of me.

"What? What time is it?" I don't know who the heck was that boy or how did he know about me having to take my medicine. But that was a serious issue.

"It's 9 a.m, and Dr. Vanessa told us to keep you taking your medicine. Today is an important day, so I want you to stay calm and collected, and in any case triggering Russel or Bernard you receive a backlash, I don't want you to have a huge headache or be on time loss, especially today. Today is going to be the finals of the Intercontinental Duel Monsters Championship." The moment the kid said that I looked weirdly at him… Duel Monsters? Like Yu-Gi-Oh? Am I dreaming? Usually, when I am dreaming or in a time loss, I would be at another world inside my mind, in my subconscious… But something is really different. Yeah, it may be a dream, but just to be sure.

I took the pill and gulped with the water over the glass, and then went back to bed.

"CAESAR, you have to get up." The little boy looked really peeved from my sudden action, while I just ignored it until he pinched me. The moment I felt that I looked at him outraged and surprised by the sudden reaction.

"Did you just pinch me?" I got up from the bed and at the moment I got up I realized 2 things… The audacity of this little boy which I would have punched on his face… and the most strange… I thought it was a dream… but the pinch was real… So… it wasn't a dream. "Alright, alright I'm up, now what?"

The boy who was looking at me in a defensive stance, suddenly relaxed while he coughed before telling me.

"Mom said we have to be ready because will take the plane in 3 hours." The boy told something about mom, but why his mother would be interested in calling me… But I don't even know him… I took a glimpse of him, and I looked at some dices as his earrings… Who is this boy? And why does he look so familiar?

"Alright tell her I'm going to take a bath." I shook my head calmly while I saw the boy nodded his head to me and went out of the bedroom… The moment he left I decided to a deep breath and calmly try to rethink of what happened… And find a way to tell them about what happened before their reaction become something out of control…

I looked around and I was amazed about how big this bedroom really was… While being simple as a 1994 technology, I saw a simple computer over a desk and that desk was with a book which seems like a kind of journal, and some colorful dices over the desk, and that dices looked like miniatures of toys and it was strange, yet so familiar.

I went straight over there, and the moment I opened the book, it was indeed a journal. And it was mine. One more question inside of my mind and this was starting to flip me up… So I decided to do the only thing I should do to make my life simple… I took another look over my room, and I noticed something unusual… The posters over the room, the posters look okay, but it was just normal type monsters… and the worse… it was just the weakest monsters. I wouldn't buy a poster of Fortress Guardian Dragon. Heck, a beaver warrior? Seriously? Okay. I will rip off in the future and take some good posters anyway. In the future, I will talk with a graphic designer to create some actual good posters. Like Shiranui Warriors or Aleister, heck I would enjoy it so much if I have the quintet magician.

I went straight to the bathroom and decided to take the bath I told I would do...

The hot water passing through my face, while I remained with my eyes closed, made the perfect sensation of reflection of the events passing in my mind.

Firstly I was driving going straight to home, while a car accident made me wake up onto a new world in which there is a boy who knows my name, and knows about Russel and Bernard, so that means he knows everything…

He told me the continental duel monsters championship will happen today, so we would be going take an airplane to go straight to there…

The posters in my bedroom were the weakest monsters which I knew from the first generation of Yu-gi-oh… So that means one thing…

I died and went straight to heaven… or I was isekai on Yu-gi-oh universe… which is the same thing.

I cleaned me while the reflection passed through my mind. So if that means I'm in this universe, which means I have to create a good deck to be respected over this world, because everything is done and respected by one only thing… Card Game…

"Well, watch out world, get ready for the one who went to tier 20 on KoG from duel links, prepare your banlists, because I will straight down destroy anyone who encounters me." I smiled while I turned off the shower, and looked at the mirror in front of me.

I was surprised by my look, I have black hair with 2 straps of blue, in one part of the hair, my eyes were green, and I have a risk in my right eye… Wait, the boy I looked at before… His eyes were green, and he had a risk on his left eye… He is so familiar… who would he…

At the moment I was going to get out of the bathroom.

I heard a call from a female voice.

"Caesar Devlin, you must be quick because Duke and I are waiting for you to take breakfast…"

"DUKE? Devlin?" I shouted internally, while something clicked in my mind. That boy had a red bandana on his head… WHY DIDN'T I NOTICE THAT?

Oh my God, I'm part of the family of the dice duelist master. That's why my room was filled with some dices, it's because the dice monsters weren't launched yet. Which I should say it was pure rip off from Yu-Gi-Oh, but it could have more potential than the carding game.

That's so cool and so annoying at the same time.

Who knew, the one who could make the life of Joey Wheeler and Tristan Taylor a hell would be my brother? Oh, Irony… Why are you so kind of me?

I decided to shrug off these thoughts for a while, while I went straight to my closet, and decided to choose my clothing. It was my favorite combination of colors, blue and black. And the style of my clothing? Wow, letter. I can make really fun quotes over here. Now you are not the only one who had the right to be good on letter pharaoh. I and Nsync were the ones who can do it as well.

I love wearing black and blue. And my bedroom looked really awesome that way.

As I looked at the mirror, it seems strange, usually, the characters of Yugioh had 14 and they looked like they have 19 or 22. And Pegasus who would seem to be 45 he has 24 years old, man. This world is strange, I don't know how old am I.

But those thoughts would be important later, let's see my wallet. I looked over my desk, and surprisingly there was my wallet and for my shock and happiness… My smartphone was there too. AWESOME.

I decided to check up my wallet… And take a look at my ID, which if I have some luck and a bit of money…

"Aha. Jackpot. 100, 200, 300? Wow, this is perfect. Let's see… Caesar Devlin… 16 YEARS OLD?" I went over to the mirror to see my face… I have the same look I had when I had 25 years old in my old life… I was supposed to be older than Pegasus, that doesn't make sense… Now I have 16 years old? I HAVE TO PASS THROUGH PUBERTY AGAIN? I have to finish school once again and then find a job? WHY AM I SO UNLUCKY.

I wanted to curse aloud, but words cannot get out from my mind… If I remember one thing… the only thing… Stupid 4 kids.

"That really destroyed my mood, isn't there something to make my luck better again?" I murmured sadly, after taking down one of the most awful news I could receive, I have to pass my past life nightmare once again… Teenager drama. "Bucking great. Hmm? It seems my friend's creative curses worked… At least I have a way to deal with 4 kids...Well, at least it isn't the manga."

"Now, you" I looked at my cellphone next, which my smile couldn't rise more. "I can't believe you made it through this as well…"

It was a great joy for me to pass time, man I cannot help but have a chance to come back to my tier 20 and beat the crap of all people…

I was excited while I was opening the game… but then I started and...blink…

"No...please… no… everything but that…" I gasped and whispered slowly at the worst news I would ever receive from this world at this moment.

It was the title screen of the game, but the moment I opened it showed one of the things I feared most…

"Save data corrupted… create a new file… No, no, no, please anything but that." I went through the back up from Konami, but the moment I tried to access the website, it showed the title… Konami doesn't exist…

Despair, hollowness, depression, betrayal… Many negative feelings were crossing deep my mind.

"BEEEEEP." My iris turned slightly darker green, while I took off my shirt. "BEEP? BEEP, BEEP. F, EEEP. What the hell is going on? WHAT IS THIS PLACE?"

The door slammed wildly, while I looked at an angry woman and an angry boy looking at me.

"RUSSEL ALTER DEVLIN, HOW MANY TIMES I TOLD YOU, TO NOT CURSE IN MY HOUSE?" The woman who looked strangely familiar to me asked me a weird question… Who the Beep is she? Beep? What kind of beeps place is this? Seriously? Even that word?

"Don't know wo…" The moment I was going to say that, I felt a huge danger growing from my spine. "Ma'am."

I changed the world, and it seems the atmosphere around me became lighter… Okay, she is dangerous, like an angry bear mother. But don't know who is she… Wait… Caesar… He must know something… Okay, I will see where this will leads and then wait for Caesar to give me some answers… I looked around, and I saw the place, hu… good a place to stay, anyway, I turned over the woman who was staring at me while she was waiting for something…

"I'm waiting Hussel..."The woman was impatiently waiting for something from me… "Do you want 100 push-ups?"

The moment she said that my eyes went wide open and I erected myself.

But looking at her face, which she nodded satisfied she pointed at the bed which was messed up, maybe Caesar forgot to make the bed, which is really annoying… Just he woke up a few minutes? I was staring at the woman who was looking like an authority who may be someone important to me to know. My mind was still anxious but I could keep myself together and I could calm down my nerves at this moment.

She seems to recognize it because she smiled after I did that.

"That's great to hear you are calmer now. Firstly you will make the bed, then you are going down and take the breakfast quickly, then after we take the car we talk about the sudden exchange. From what Duke told me, Caesar was going to take bath and go take breakfast. But we don't have much time for this. We have to get ready because the plane will be after 3 hours." The ma'am who was dressed casually as a beautiful woman, with long black hair and a collar made by dices made me look at her strangely… She is so strange, but yet familiar, like I should know who she is… She knows me, knows about Melchior, thankfully wasn't Bernard, because he would freak out and his hands wouldn't stop speaking to me and to Caesar when he comes back. Then I received a flicker in my forehead.

"OUCH." I said aloud, while I looked at the woman who was smiling sweetly which give me shrive in my spine… She is the smiling type… Oh, beep. Beep you, stupid beeps.

"You have 10 minutes soldier, you better make it quick, or you will not take breakfast… Now… MARCH." Her harsh scream as an authority, made I snap from my thoughts and went directly to the bed which I ignored her giggling and the door closing…

"Caesar, when I go back, you better have some explanations to me, or I swear to God I will make you spill the beans at the therapist." I murmured to myself, while I checked the corner of that bedroom, which I saw a glimpse of the boy behind me. "What?"

"Russel, what did Caesar do to make you replace him at this exact moment? Like, today is a really important day to us… Today we are going to the Intercontinental Duel Monsters Championship." The boy said behind me while he walked directly over the table nearby my side.

I remained focused on making the bed.

"Alright, the bed is done." I said while I looked at the boy in front of me. "Tell Caesar he is own me one after that."

"What? Did he just got time out just for you to make his bed?" The little boy raised his eyebrow and asked like it was the most absurd thing he ever asked.

"Yeah, I know, that lazy boy needs to work a bit harder." I grinned while I used the coin test over the bed. I launched the coin over the bed which bounced and went straight to my hand. "Perfect."

"Maybe I should make mom make him do more chores." The boy murmured while I grinned after hearing the evilest and most perfect way to punish the boy behind my mind.

"Yeah, that would be nice. Catch yah later boy." I said while the mind became blank after the past ten seconds.

I shook my head trying to process what happened. I looked at the dock which was the most annoying look on his face. I remember part of the conversation deep inside of my mind. I heard the voices, and it was surprising to hear Russel being totally respectful to someone like my new mother.

At the moment Duke was going to say something I said quickly.

"I hit my toes on the corner of the table… again." Usually, I don't like to use the table corner trigger to bring Russel, but I remember one thing straight. Russel hates when it comes about corner hits. He triggered himself some times when it comes to pure rage as my defensive system.

Duke suddenly closed his mouth, and then let out a chuckle.

"Okay, that may answer the question. But now mom would need a full conversation with him next time he would be with her. So you better let him know later." I couldn't help but feel glad, that my usual excuse works over this family. "So, are you ready?"

I looked over Duke's hand, he was holding a mullet, which Kaiba usually hide his cards, but guessing from his character. I have an idea about what he was going to take long.

"I'm ready, but what about this mullet? Are you going to take the dungeon dice monsters with us?" That was an interesting question I had in mind, because it seems to fit the time when Duke would meet Pegasus and the idea of Dungeons of Dice Monsters would fit in, and a few years later Yugi would meet Duke after his duel against Pegasus, which would lead to a huge misunderstanding…

"Yes, the little prototype stage of the 4 versions is ready." Duke smiled like he was excited, wow, he looks different from the day he started on the fiction… Was it because of the fangirls?... Yeah, it was definitely the fangirls.

The something in my mind snapped from the sudden answer…

"4 versions?" I asked while I couldn't figure what he was saying.

"Yeah Caesar. Like, you forgot about what we planned? You said it would be a great idea to surprise Pegasus in showing our 4 types of dice duels to him, that way we would be diverse our duel style and making something more different than actual duel monster card gaming." The way Duke said, actually made sense to me, if I was indeed that brother, I would actually help Duke to make something to save the face of Yugioh culture, because of the abridged joke. "Because you always quote… Just like duel monsters."

I let it out loud laughter, while I could sense Duke was annoyed by the standard abridged joke. He shook his head while he looked over my table.

"Did you finished your prototypes?" he checked the dices over my table curiously. While I may have in mind what I was working on.

"Yeah, it is on the beta version, but I'm sure this will take Pegasus's curiosity. Don't worry about it Duke, Dungeons of Dice Monsters will be a success in comparison to duel monsters." I waved my hand. With all the knowledge I have from the show, it seems the Duke's dice game would be kinda interesting for the people, but sadly in my other world, not many people enjoyed the game… But I may have some questions in mind, like, how would I change the rules of the game if I was just born over this era. And why here? And why me?

My head was giving me a headache since all I got was questions and never answers. And the more answers I have the more questions would appear. So I decided to just move along, that would be the best way.

"Do you really mean it, Caesar?" Duke smiled weekly, while a part of him was indeed anxious. Well, if I was in his situation and never have the knowledge of he was going to receive a contract with Pegasus, I would be in that situation as well. "We worked so hard during the summer, not just us, but Russel and Bernard passed nights with insomnia just to make the design of the archetypes and the rules."

The way Duke looked proud of his work, usually, it's what makes me like the episodes of the Dungeon Dice Monsters.

"Yeah, we did… And now our work will pay off. Let's get down, mom is waiting for us." I took the dices and added on the mullet, making me and Duke ready for the new day.

Pov:

The trip over the car to the airport was talkative and really annoying to Caesar, having to receive a scold from the new mother he just knew over the morning, and he already was scolded down because of the censure created by 4kids on that universe.

"Don't forget to call me using the telephone the moment you got there. All alright, boys?" The mother once again said her goodbyes again to her kids, while they just waved to her before finally going out of the car and leading directly to the airport.

After running for a few minutes, both of them were in time to catch the airplane and let out a good sigh of relief. One step is done, now it was time for crossing the countries and go directly to USA. Now it's time to relax and think about what will happen next.

Making Caesar writes down in his notepad some information about the trip.

1. He was there, after his car accident.

2. He is know Caesar Devlin, even with his alters that means they knew identity over this universe.

3. He know is co-creator of one of the most underrated game spin-off from Yugioh, excluding capsule monsters… Nobody likes that game or show, it was forgotten in his memory.

4. After reading the books, he used all the knowledge of future generations of Yugioh to set the new rules and new summons over dungeons dice monsters. Which he decided to give the name YDDM (Yugioh Dungeon Dice Monsters).

5. Now he is the same day Maximilian Pegasus humiliates Bandit Keith. Making one child win the game with just one card.

6. He has Duel Links, but he now has to create a new account and play again from the beginning.

Just remembering from the 6th fact, Caesar let it out a disappointed sigh, which made Duke take a look at his brother who was looking outside from the window.

"Big Brother." The call made Caesar snaps from his thoughts and look at the boy near him who seemed to be in concern. "What's inside of your mind?"

Caesar knowing the character behind Duke from the episodes from the show he watched since from his childhood, knew he couldn't tell him about the truth about he came from another universe, with advanced technology… And inside of his heart, not just him, but both his alters agreed with the same thought… They couldn't let the future mess with the present as it is…

Looking at the new dices on his hands and the rule book's he and his alters created with Duke, there was one thing which could make not just Duke worried, but Caesar worried as well…

He couldn't tell about his disappointment to play Duel Links again, but that doesn't mean he didn't worry about the new present he is…

Sighing again, Caesar looked at Duke again, while they were flying high at the airplane. While people were talking, enjoying their time over the plane, and even some parents were on a trip to the USA with their babies on their side. Yeah, a typical plane flight like always.

"What if Pegasus decided to implement our duel system to duel monsters card game?" That question is a positive outcome which would be instantaneous if they make it too good to be true. "I mean… we created the Synchro and XYZ system to our dices. What if he likes this idea so much and wanted to add it to his card game?"

Duke heard his question while he was still confused about the point.

"That would be… good?" Duke is still trying to process the point of his brother, while a snap of the fingers calling his attention came directly from Caesar. He usually snaps his fingers to call someone's attention when they are not getting it.

"Duke, I'm serious… What would be to Dungeons of Dice Monsters if our handicaps summons would be copied and paste to Duel Monsters? Wouldn't that makes in the end the joke I told you every day… Just like…" The worried tone coming from his voice made a good point straight to his brother, which followed his point and concluded his sentence...

"Duel Monsters…" Duke finally got the point of his brother and that thought was indeed powerful… They wanted to be invested by Maximilian Pegasus and be part of the Illusions Company and be share holders, but still having their own game loved in the entire world… What would happen if all their work would be implemented in other game and the joke would be always the same?

All the years of project, design, rules… Would become nothing again…

"Exactly… We need to find a way to Pegasus be part of our project, but we need to patent our summons for at most 50 years." Caesar said seriously while his brother looked at him in confusion.

"Why 50 years?" Duke enjoyed the idea of creating a patent, but 50 years? Why that many years thought?

"Simple, I want to be retired after 45 years, and let my kids and your kids decided the future of the dice monsters. Let the kids learn by their experience, while me. I want to be on top of whatever game would be. I want to retire and be rich as soon as possible but still be big as Maximilian Pegasus too." Deep inside of his mind, Caesar knew one important thing, he wanted to be a pro duelist, but he could be just like Kaiba, an entrepreneur while he can expend money enjoying his life, playing cards, having a good life. Who said he couldn't be a great dice player and a great Yugioh gamer as well? It's selfish? Yes, it is… But it's the dream of Caesar.

Duke looked at his brother in awe, like always knowing the right things to say to himself, and always knows what his objectives and dreams would be…

"Hey Caesar…" Duke decided to step aside from the problem and decided to give a new idea.

"Yeah?" Caesar looked to his brother who seemed with an idea on his head.

"I was thinking maybe we should make a good game store in the city and share our games over there." And then it came the idea of the episode after the Duel Island.

"So it was before episode one anyway. Everything seemed to be fitting, piece by piece on the backstage." Caesar thought inside of his mind, while he nodded to himself.

"So Do you want to make a game store? I have to say, it's pretty ambitious…" Caesar raised his eyebrow, while Duke looked a bit insecure with the idea, but then he heard Caesar chuckling while smiled. "We already are risking one thing, we are crossing the countries, just to meet the opportunity of our lives. Let's take a shot."

The moment Caesar said that Duke smiled proudly with himself and with a both handshakes, they sealed the fate of what would be one of the most humiliating episodes for Joe Wheeler.

"It will be difficult to convince Pegasus to not take our games and mix with duel monsters. But if I know much about his character… maybe we have a chance for him to listen to us and convince him to accept one thing in return. Duke, do you think he will like the Architype idea?" Caesar was thinking what would be something to bait Pegasus in to sign a contract with them… But one thing Caesar knows about Pegasus. He will read his mind, so he would need to convince him by 2 ways… Give a bigger deal, and… be part of the duel island to convince him to accept the deal.

Duke remained a bit awkward with the idea about giving up one of their ideas, but it seemed fair to both of them, which they hesitantly have to accept.

"Then it's seated then. I hope everything will be okay." Both of them said at the same time while praying deep in their hearts the trip would be a good day for both of them and hoping a great destiny is waiting for them.
