Heyyyy…. How are you?
*Is met with silence*
Ok, ok. I'll admit that I've not been paying attention to Miraculous: Awakening. But you guys, I can multitask. Alright! On with the writing!
Chat Blanc sat on the rooftop, staring out into the dark city of Paris. Beside him, Miss Fortune sat. "Isn't it wonderful?"
Once again, her sharp eyes travelled over him, and he was reminded of the first time he'd met her.
"What?"
She spread her arms wide. "How far we've gone since Hawkmoth came."
Chat Blanc was silent.
"I suppose."
Miss Fortune glanced at him. "Do you remember when we met?" She often read his thoughts.
Chat Blanc nodded. "Yes. You were at the back of the room, all beautiful, and you stole my breath. They told me you were crazy, but I ignored them." She was nodding now. "I came and sat next to you and-"
She stopped him. "And you fell hopelessly in love with me, right?"
He chuckled. "Something like that."
Miss Fortune pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Love you too, kitty."
Chat closed his eyes. "I know. I love you too."
OoOoOoO
Adrien Agreste tentatively edged into the classroom. The teacher stopped mid-sentence to look at Adrien, and she smiled brightly.
"Welcome! Everyone, this is Adrien Agreste and he'll be joining us today!"
Adrien was met with a chorus of hello's.
Mme. Bustier turned to him. "Why don't you tell us something about yourself?"
Adrien stared at his shoes. "My father is Gabriel Agreste. I model for him."
Silence replied to his words, and Mme.Bustier's smile seemed forced now. "Why don't you take a seat, Adrien? You can pick. No seating charts in this class."
Adrien looked up to the room, looking for a seat. In the back of the room, sat a girl. Her black hair was in twin pigtails, and you could just see the haunting red of her eyes under her bangs.
Her head lifted, and the wind was knocked out of Adrien. The world around him slowed as she held his gaze, something unknown sparkling behind her eyes.
Adrien slowly made his way to the seat next to her, but a girl caught his wrist, her glasses sliding down her nose. She pushed them up. "Don't sit next to her." Alya's voice lowered. "She's crazy." Alya's voice level returned to normal. "Everyone knows that." Adrien looked back up at the girl.
Crazy? This sweet girl, who seemed quiet and beautiful? The girl who'd stolen his breath? Alya let go of his arm, watching him carefully. Adrien returned to her.
"Thank you for telling me."
Alya looked relieved, but it faded as Adrien turned on his heel and marched up to the seat next to the girl.
The girl examined him. "Why are you sitting next to me?
Adrien shrugged.
A smile played on the girl's lips. "I wouldn't." She leaned closer. "They say I'm insane."
Adrien stared at her. "I find that hard to believe." He frowned, pretending to be thinking. "But that might be because I'm insane."
The flicker of a smile was now ignited, and she extended her hand. "Marinette."
Adrien shook it. "Adrien.
Marinette tilted her head. "Tell me,Adrien. Just how crazy are you?"
Adrien grinned. "Crazy enough to shake hands with you, apparently. How crazy are you?"
"Crazy enough to let you ruin your image by sitting next to me."
"What image?" He asked innocently.
Marinette tousled his hair. "I think you know."
Adrien leaned forward, so close that her breath ghosted his face. "I don't think I do."
Adrien could see the malicious tint in the deep red of her eyes, and he felt that she meant that she was insane. But didn't he mean that he was insane too?
Her sharp eyes travelled over him grudgingly. "Hm. "
Adrien felt his heart beat a little bit faster.
So. What do you guys think? I want to continue this, but it might just stay a One-Shot. I really don't know at this point. The story line that I was thinking of for this is sooooo good, and I want to continue, but I just don't know.
Bug out!
