"Alright, let's do this one last time. Because I'm pretty sure that you're getting sick of this. My names Peter Parker, I was bitten by a radioactive spider, and for the last twenty years, I've been the one and only Spider-Man. Iron-Spider doesn't count as Spider-Man! My life started off a little ruff...big time."
Uncle Ben smiled as he ruffled up Peter's hair and were later on standing at the cemetery over two caskets.
"My parents died in a plane crash when I was five years old. Spent most of my life being raised by my Uncle Ben. Then I made the biggest mistake of my life."
A 15 year old Peter is being dropped off at school by his uncle.
"Thanks for the ride, Uncle Ben." Peter thanks his uncle and gets ready to leave when he was stopped.
"Wait a minute, Peter. We need to talk." Ben tells his nephew before he could leave.
"We can talk later, I gotta get to class." Peter tells him, needing to hurry before he's late.
"Well, we can talk now you've still got some time if we hurry. If you let me." Ben tells him and Peter sighed and knew with his new skills he did indeed have time.
"What do we have to talk about?" Peter asks Ben as he stopped teaching for the door.
"Because we haven't talked for so long, I don't even know who you are anymore." Ben tells Peter since he's been acting weird since his trip to Oscorp. "You neglect your chores, you're doing all these strange experiments in your room, you started a fight in school."
"I didn't start that fight, I thought you believed me on that." Peter points out to his uncle. He had no control of these abilities he's been getting recently and one of the school bullies tried fighting him because of an accident.
"You sure finishes it." Ben reminds him since he was actually able to stand up against a person who was stronger than him for once.
"What was I supposed to do, run away?" Peter asks.
"No, you're right, you shouldn't run away, but...Peter, look, you're changing. These are the years when a man changes into the man he's gonna become the rest of his life. Just be careful who you become. I mean, that kid probably deserved what he got. But just because you can fight doesn't mean you always should." Ben explains to Peter.
"I'm not becoming some kind of criminal because I just snapped, I was sick of being beaten up all the time. And I wasn't the only one getting beaten up. So quit worrying about me, okay? I know I'm different, I'm working through some things right now. So stop lecturing me about it, please." Peter tells his uncle.
"I don't mean to lecture, and I don't mean to preach, and I know I'm not your father." Ben tells Peter.
"Then stop pretending you are." Peter states to Ben.
Ben feels hurt because of those words but knows deep down he doesn't really mean it. "Right. I'll meet you here around the regular time, okay?" Ben asks Peter.
Peter looks to his uncle and feels the weight of what he just said and regrets it. But he didn't have time to make it up and he wasn't in the mood to keep talking and just left and Ben drove off.
"I've regretted that argument ever since."
Peter goes through school regularly and waits for Ben outside when the final bell. After waiting some time, Peter decided just to walk him.
When he got to his street in Queens, he saw police cars and an ambulance at his house. He broke into a run and got there in time to see a body bag being wheeled away.
Peter couldn't breathe when he saw the body of his Uncle. A Captain George Stacy came up to him.
"Peter." said George.
"What happened?" Peter asked.
"Peter, this isn't the best time to..."
"What happened?" Peter repeated.
"Someone broke in, he shot Ben and stole the car, we'll get him Pete." George said.
Peter ran from the scene with George being unable to catch up with him due to his abilities. He kept running until he was far enough away from the police, and then started looking for his uncles killer. He also found a jet ski mask in the trash and decided to use that to at least cover his identity.
The man was in Ben's car, not far from Peter's position when he found him. Throwing his costume on in an alley, Parker raced across the rooftops until he spotted his uncle's car. Having lost the police in a traffic jam, the perp hid away in an abandoned warehouse, but he was unaware Spider-Man had followed him.
Small rays of light made bright by the relative darkness bored into the warehouse, but they only accentuated the darkness there. Rage clear in his movements, Peter pounced from the shadows and attacked the criminal without mercy.
He began when he drove his fist into the man's stomach, following up with a backhand that knocked him into a wooden beam and to the ground. Reaching into his pocket, the man turned with his gun raised, but Peter kicked it away, knocking it through the nearest glass window.
The murderer tried to crawl away from his attacker, desperate to get away, but Spider-Man flipped him over and gripped his throat, lifting his body from the ground. As he pinned him against the wall, and Peter brought his fist back, ready to strike the man down, the criminal cried out through winded breaths.
"Wait! You don't have to do this! Just give me a chance!"
Spider-Man tightened his grip. "What about the old man you shot? Did you give him a chance?!"
Peter snarled, his fist quaking with anger. "It would be so easy to end your miserable life right now, and I bet nobody would even miss you!" He thought to himself when he saw the fear in his eyes. Peter started to look down and saw a reflection of himself and couldn't believe what he was doing. Finally thinking clearly, he shoved the man's head through the dirty glass, rendering the criminal unconscious. "But...my uncle taught me better than that."
Peter was later on standing over another casket and crying while being comforted by his Aunt May who was now officially his legal guardian.
"That one day changed the course of my life. But it lead me to be the man who I am today. Because whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget those words: 'With great power comes great responsibility.' This is my gift, my curse. Who am I? I'm Spiderman."
"I went to live in Central City and thought that I would be alone. But then I made an amazing friend."
Peter Parker was walking through the halls of his new high school. He had just finished settling in with his Aunt May after his Uncle Ben was murdered and was still trying to juggle his life and his starting career as a superhero.
Peter walked down the hall and almost dropped his school supplies, and immediately tripped and began to try and pick everything up when someone walked over and helped him pick everything up.
The person who helped handed everything back to Peter with a smile. "There ya go, man."
"Thanks." Peter sighed, not having a good day.
"Names Ronnie Raymond." Ronnie introduced himself to him. "Where you trying to go?"
Peter looked at the number system and it was completely insane. "Uh, Room 182."
"Oh, yeah, I know where it is. Come with me." Ronnie said and lead Peter to his room. "Have any more trouble, just come find me."
"I'll be sure to do that." Peter promised as he walked over to his supposed seat and sat down.
"He was the first one to ever learn my secret. I thought."
Peter groaned in agony as he limped towards his and May's home after his first fight with this new guy who named himself Shocker.
His suit was torn, his body was in agonizing pain, and he just wanted to get home and rest, let his healing factor heal him. He made his way up the side of the house and noticed that May was in the kitchen cleaning, seeing he had a chance to make it inside undetected.
Sneaking to the second floor, he slipped his window open and pulled his mask off as he crawled onto the ceiling when he suddenly senses something and dropped from the ceiling to look around before seeing Ronnie was standing next to his bed with a look of shock and horror on his face.
Ronnie was holding a few books and quickly dropped them all at the sight, causing the room to sound like thunder off Peter's wooden floor.
"What was that?" May called from downstairs.
"Nothing!" Peter cried down. "Just us." He then turned back to Ronnie who still had a look of shock on his face.
"You're...you're Spider-Man?!" Ronnie asks in shock.
"No." Peter cried as he took off the shirt of the suit and tossed it. "No, I'm not. This is just a costume."
"You were just on the ceiling, dude!" Ronnie stated as he gestured to the said ceiling.
"No, I wasn't. Dude, what are you even doing here?" Peter asks as he reached down and yanked off his destroyed boots.
"May let me in." Ronnie gestured to the door. "We have a project to work on, remember?"
"You can't just-" Peter was saying when he sensed May was coming and quickly grabbed another shirt and tossed it on as May came up and opened the door.
"Well, I hope you guys are okay with Thai, because dinner has become a disaster." May stated with a laugh. "Everything good up here?"
"Yeah, Ronnie just dropped some books." Peter gestured to his friend, who was still seriously confused. "But Thai. Sounds good."
"Great." May said and left them while looking at Peter's torn pants.
"I slipped and fell." Peter quickly lied.
"Okay..." May guesses as she leaves them and closes the door.
"Wait, she doesn't know?" Ronnie asks Peter.
"Nobody knows, dude. Okay? Nobody on the face of the earth knows who I am..." Peter stated before realizing that's a lie. "...except Batman. But that's because he helped me make that suit." He stated and started thinking some more. "And possibly that John Constantine dude, but that was because everyone turned into werewolves and he helped me. Or I helped him."
"The Batman made you that?" Ronnie asks as he looked at the suit. "Wait, Batman's real!?"
"Listen, Ronnie, you need to keep this a secret." Peter tells Ronnie as he tried to hold his ground.
"A secret?" Ronnie asks. "From May?"
"Well, you know what she's like, man. If she finds out I go out there where people are trying to kill me every night, she's not gonna let me do this anymore." Peter explains to him. "I can't do that to her right now. After everything that's happened to her I...I can't add anything more than she already had on her mind. Please..."
Ronnie sighed and sat down on Peter's bed, trying to keep his mind straight. He ran his hands through his face in order to figure out what to say. "Okay...I promise."
"Thanks, man." Peter sighed as he leaned against the wall.
"Hey, can I try the suit on?" Ronnie asks Peter, causing him to smack his head against the said wall, leaving a small dent.
"We became a team."
Flashes of short moments of Peter fighting the Lizard whilst Ronnie was working on a cure in the High School labs.
"An unstoppable duo for years."
Peter sucker punching Rhino with the Shocker's gauntlets who was lying unconscious.
"He was the unsung hero of our team."
Peter was later fighting Taskmaster in the Pentagon.
"Anyways, I saved the city."
Peter putting together his first outfit and then sucker punching Scorpion, sending him flying back flipping in the process.
"And when he got into Star Labs, I got into the next best thing: Mercury Labs."
Peter hasn't been the same after his best friend died. Spider-Man hasn't made an appearance in a while and it seems the city no longer cares or dreadfully worried about what happened to him.
"And when he died, things got weirder, I fell in love."
Peter looks to see Caitlin with her hair brushed down across her shoulder while wearing a beautiful blue dress and his entire mind shuts down.
"What? Something wrong?" Caitlin asks seeing his reaction to her look.
"No. It's...your beautiful." Peter compliments her and she smiles.
"You don't look so bad yourself. You clean yourself up nicely." Caitlin tells him and takes his hand.
Caitlin and Peter kissing on top of STAR Labs.
"Fell in love. Then I saved the city again...and again...and then again. Thought I could take everything that the world could throw my way."
"I then adopted a child in distresses. Frankie Parker."
"Frankie, you have to stop this." Peter tells her and she just now notices him.
"Peter, what's your plan?" Cisco asks him. "Barry can't hold that thing forever."
Peter doesn't respond and just looks to Frankie.
"Frankie isn't here anymore. There's only Magenta." She tells him when Peter sees a new Flash of lightning help Barry.
Peter thinks and realizes Harry listened to his advice and that's Jesse helping him keep the ship from crashing down.
"Looks like we have a minute to talk to ourselves." Peter tells her. "Look, I'm here to help you. Okay, killing your foster father and everyone else inside that hospital isn't going to give you what you need." He states.
"You have no idea what I need!" Frankie/Magenta tells him. "It's not just John I want to get rid of. I want them both gone." She says while trying to bring the tanker down harder.
"Peter, you better hurry. The tankers going down." Harry warns him.
"I know you're still in there, Frankie. I know there is still good in you." Peter tells her, ignoring the others to focus on her. "Listen, I know what it's like to have all this anger inside, thinking the only way to be free of the pain is to cause pain to the one who gave it to you. But it does nothing but make you responsible for the pain." He says remembering when he tried finding his uncles killer.
"How do you know that?" Magenta asks him.
Peter quickly removes his mask to appear to her as a human and not as a hero. "Because I almost did it myself. I lost someone important to me, and I was filled with this anger and hatred.I had the chance at revenge at who took him from me. But I chose to be better, proved that I was stronger by letting him live. Don't let John destroy the good that you have. Be stronger than him." Peter asks of her.
"He said I was weak. That I was pathetic!" Frankie/Magenta states angrily. "He said I was a horrible person." She says while tearing up.
"He's blaming you for what he's caused in his life. He's the bad one here, but that doesn't mean too need to kill him to stop the pain. This isn't because of you." Peter promises her and walks to her slowly, to not anger or scare her.
"I just want him to stop hurting me." Frankie/Magenta say while tears start falling from her eyes.
"This isn't the way to do it, and you know it." Peter says to her. "John never forgave himself for all of his mistakes. That's why he took them out on you. He couldn't face who he really is. He couldn't move forward. But you can do what he could never do. Prove to him you're a good person." He asks her and sees she's thinking of it.
Frankie/Magenta think about what he told her and wonders if he's right.
She thinks for a good while before Peter watches as the ship starts floating away from the hospital and the doors open and everyone rushes out.
Frankie cries and starts apologizing and Peter draws her into a hug.
"It's okay. You're gonna be okay." Peter promises her while holding onto her while stroking her hair to calm her.
Caitlin showing the pregnancy test results.
"Then two little lines changed my life."
Peter's later in the hospital holding his daughter as she rested.
"The twins came. And they were as the same and yet as different as siblings could get. Tommy is a shy but energetic kid. Tina's a chatterbox that you can't shut up. They have my mouth and their mother's intelligence."
Tommy and Tina running around in the backyard with Peter and Caitlin smiling as they played.
"Then Battleworld came, and everything changed again."
Crystal walked over to the two of them and Peter wrapped his arm around both of them and rubbed Crystal's belly.
"Our third child was sorta a surprise. But we love Aster as much as we loved the first two."
As the years went on, Tina and Tommy were shown their powers, and Aster grew up.
"Things were a bit...different with Aster. He was the most like me when I was a kid. Constantly scared, a bit scrawnier than his siblings...and if that weren't bad enough, he didn't gain abilities like his siblings. When he was born, we tested him, and he didn't have any signs of a metahuman gene or mutant genome. The working theory is that when you have two mutants...you know...then there's a cancellation between the two genomes. When we had the twins, Caitlin was the element that allowed them to have our conjoined powers no problem. Without it, it seems you don't get any."
Aster was in the kitchen, taking a pill handed to him from Caitlin.
"And then there were the voices. He said he heard a voice louder than normal people in his head. Like there's someone whispering in his ear all the time. We've got things under control...we just wonder for how long."
Central City:
"Alright, let's start from the beginning. My name's Tommy Snow-Parker, and for the last four years, I've been the one and only Winter-Spider. Pretty sure you know the rest."
Tommy and Tina were sitting next to one another after learning they have powers with their parents in front of them.
"With great power, comes great responsibility."
"I've been trying to live up to my father's legacy, but it's a little hard when your father's Spider-Man, one of the greatest heroes in the world, and also Peter Parker, the creator of Parker Industries, and winner of like ten different Nobel Prizes. I mean, me and my sister have one, and we graduated high school and university faster than any of our friends at twelve. But coming onto thirteen, it's just hard to-"
"What are you doing?" Tina asked as she suddenly barges into Tommy's room.
Tommy jolt in his desk chair, knocking over his cup of pens and pencils in the process. Tommy sigh before he bent down to pick them up. He could almost picture the amused smile on her face as she covers her mouth to hide her chuckle.
"Can you please knock!?" Tommy glare at her over his shoulder as he place the cup back in its place as he could hear Tina make her way towards him.
"Why? What were you doing?" Tina asked with a snarky smile and walked over towards her brother's computer when he slammed it shut.
"None of your business." Tommy stated as he tried to push her out of his room, only for her to quickly shoot a web and yank the laptop towards her. "Hey!"
"Alright, let's start from the beginning." Tina started reading what he was typing.
"Tina!" Tommy cried as he makes two tight fists and yanked the computer out of her hands.
"What is that? Your diary?" She asks as he placed the laptop on his desk.
"No! Just leave it alone." Tommy tried to change the subject even though he knows she'll keep pestering him about it.
"It is, isn't it?" She continues to smirk that signature smirk of hers and Tommy scowled and begin to fidget with his hands while a small mist formed on his hand. "Mom said it's time to come down for breakfast!"
She blurts before he got the feeling she was about to walk out of the room. It was risky but Tommy felt he had to teach her a lesson. He freezes the flooring in front of the door the second she finishes her sentence.
Tina ran, trying to make her way out before her brother had time to do something, but she missed her senses going off and just ended up slipping and landing on her butt with a thump.
"Tommy!" Tina cried as she got up and stared down at her brother
Tommy was bending over as he begin to crack up. He couldn't even begin to describe how hilarious that small moment was for himself.
"You started it!" Tommy stated as he wiped the tears from his eyes with his thumb.
"All because I took a peek at your stupid diary!?" Tina asks in an annoyed tone. She rolls her light brown eyes before she looks anywhere else.
"If you must know, it's a journal." Tommy clarified her before offering his hand. "Let's just go eat breakfast." She frowns at him before she takes it and he pulled her up. He then smelled the sweet aroma of his Dad's favorite maple syrup as they walk down the carpeted stairs. "So we're having pancakes?"
Tina snarled and scolded the back of her brother's head and knew she was going to get him back for that.
Aster Frost-Parker, the son of Crystal and Peter, was awoken from the constant noise from his siblings and groaned as he got out of his bed and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"Morning, sunshine."
Aster sighed when he heard that voice in his head, it being a constant pain in the morning. He immediately got up and walked over to his desk where he has his pills laid out and opened a water bottle he kept nearby to take them.
"You know, maybe you should stop taking those pills."
"One of these days, you'll be a forgotten memory." Aster sighed as he shoved the pill into his mouth and took a chug of water to swallow it. "Sadly, that day isn't coming any time soon."
"Trust me. You'll slip up one of these days."
"Please, just shut up." Aster pleaded as he walked over to get ready to go to school.
"Yep. That's me. Aster Frost-Parker. Son of the Queen of Ice, and the original hero of Central City. And if that wasn't bad enough, I'm the only member of this family who doesn't have a unique ability, or even any abilities."
He then finished getting changed and the voice quieted down and he grabbed his bag on the way out. As he made his way down the hall, Tommy, his older brother, ran past and ruffled his head.
"Hey, Asteroid!" Tommy greeted as he leaped over his head and crawled on the ceiling whilst Aster dodged a blast of ice from Tina.
"Get over here, you coward!" Tina cried as she chased after Tommy while blasting ice at the ceiling. "Hey, Aster." She said calmly before her eyes glow blue again. "Tommy!"
"I'm used to my crazy siblings showing off their powers, but it'd be nice if they remember that their youngest sibling doesn't have powers. All I have is some psychiatric problems. And that's a pain all together."
Aster made it down the stairs where he saw that all of their parents were already down at the table.
"Let me guess, Tina did something to upset Tommy, Tommy retaliated, and now they're fighting in the halls?" Peter took a guess on what's happening upstairs with the shouting.
"Yep." Aster sighed as he walked over and took a seat just when their replication of the Star Wars droid: BB-8 came over and rubbed his head against Aster like a cat wanting attention. "Hey, Buddy."
"Kids! Come on down, or you Gotta get going!" Caitlin cried up the stairs.
"Uh, speaking of which, I gotta get going" Peter said as he got up and picked up his bag to have something to work on while he waited. "I have a meeting with a new intern who is showing up at the labs after that, so I have my hands full today."
"Yes, and I need to go, have that appointment with the class I'll be teaching over the summer." Caitlin said as she saw she also needs to go.
"And I'll be heading over to see Patty for some girl time." Frost told them her day plan.
"Great. We've all got plans before we're stuck with everyone for the summer." Peter said with a sigh as he packed his bag. "Kids! You're gonna leave without breakfast if you don't hurry!"
"So it looks like this is where I'm supposed to give you the whole intro thing, so to start off, you need to believe everything I say. Because every part of it is going to sound insane. My name is Dawn Allen. And I'm the fastest woman alive. You see that blur?"
A flash of blue and red lightning tear through the streets, quickly followed by orange and red lighting right behind her. In speedster time, Dawn was smiling, her goggles she was wearing with an orange tint keeping the wind from her eyes. Looking back, she looked and saw that Barry Allen, her father, was chasing after her with a smile on both of their faces.
"Yeah, that's me. Being chased down by my dad. Not as bad as it sounds, I'm just winning a bet. A bet made by my mom and father that I'd be able to outrace him. A life with very little crime due to all of these superheroes is pretty impressive. And also extremely boring when you're the next generation. I grew up around the guardians of Central City with Tommy and Tina. Or the Double Ts as we call them."
Dawn's suit is outlined yellow from her arms, all the way down her hips and even her pants and boots were the same. The inner of her suit was more of a bright blue, making a lightning outline on both sides of her suit and bright orange pants and the same blue color boots. The mask she wears covers her eyes and ears, as she doesn't really have a way to cover up her long flowing blonde hair without cutting it.
Dawn kept on racing through the streets and quickly made a sharp turn, losing her dad in the process, but he caught up by phasing thought the walls and immediately beats her.
"People call me Velocity. And every day, I hope that one day I can live up to the legacy of the Flash...but I've got a long way to go before I'm anywhere close to it."
"Looks like it proves it. I'm still the fastest." Barry commented with a smile.
"Yeah, yeah." Dawn sighed in defeat. "Hey, I'm hungry. Race ya home!" She stated and quickly raced back home to at least beat her dad there.
Barry laughed and loved how she always thinks she can beat him, and just allows her to have this one. "Alright." He then sped off and quickly followed Dawn home.
Once the two of them made it to their home, Patty was putting together Dawn's bag for her last day of school.
"Hey, guys. How was the run?" Patty asked them cheerfully.
"Dad beat me. Again." Dawn sighed in defeat.
"Aw, sorry, honey. But I bet you'll beat him one day." Patty tried to lift her spirits. "And hey, no wining, it's almost summer!"
"Yeah, I guess." Dawn sighed. "Although I find it strange that Tina and Tommy are already graduates."
"Well, they took after their parents." Barry shrugged. "When you're raised by a worldwide physicist and a M.D. bioengineer, you're bound to be skipping a few grades."
"Fair." Dawn guessed.
Meanwhile, right off the coast of Central City, a Super-Liner truck was driving down and just reached the outskirts of the city when the driver opened the door, revealing a young slim, olive-skinned teenage girl with brown eyes and medium-length brown hair, though she wore a hijab to cover her head.
"This is it." The driver told the girl as she woke up and climbed out of the truck.
The girl got out, not understanding what she's doing on the outskirts of the city and got out of the truck. But she didn't speak much English, so she couldn't ask why he did before he got back in and began driving off, leaving her to walk the rest of the way.
