"Why are you nervous?" Jamie asked as he drove to the Adams-Foster house. "This is the first time I've really ever introduced a boyfriend. I mean, I've had boyfriends but you're different." Callie replied.
Jamie reached over the console and placed his hand on her thigh. "Everything's gonna be fine. Besides, I already met most of your family. It's gonna be fine." He said reassuringly.
Callie nodded as they pulled into the driveway. Jamie grabbed her hand as they walked up to the front door. Everyone was already home. Callie would have been, but she had a lot of work to do.
"We're here!" Callie announced as she and Jamie stepped into the house. "Hi love!" Stef grinned as she threw her arms around Callie. "Hi mom. Hi mama." Callie smiled, hugging them both back.
"Hi Stef, hi Lena. It's good to see you guys again." Jamie said with a smile. "You too, Jamie." Lena replied, hugging him gently.
"Come on in. Everyone's in the living room." Stef said, leading them in. "Jude!" Callie exclaimed, throwing her arms around her brother. "Hi, Callie. Uh, Jamie, right?" Jude asked, looking at him.
Jamie nodded and shook his hand. "Jesus, you know Jamie." Callie said. "What's up, man?" Jesus asked, dapping him up.
"So you guys are...together?" Jude asked curiously. "Yeah." Callie replied, sitting down on the couch and pulling Jamie down next to her.
"How long have you been seeing each other?" Lena asked. "A little over two months." Callie replied with a nod. "That's great." Stef smiled, happy that her baby girl was finally allowing herself to depend on someone else.
"You both must have a lot in common I bet." Stef said. "Yes, we do." Jamie agreed, squeezing Callie's hand. "How's work going, Cal?" Lena asked.
"Good. Busy." Callie breathed. "Callie works all the time." Mariana said. "I do not." She argued in response. Even Jamie had to lift an eyebrow at that one.
"You never have fun." Mariana said. "That's not true. I have fun with you. And you. And...Malika. I have fun." Callie said, pointing to her boyfriend and sister.
"Uh, we went to an amusement park last week. That's fun." Jamie said, backing up Callie. "See? I do have fun." Callie smirked, sticking her tongue out at Mariana.
"Girls." Lena said with a chuckle.

Later that evening, Jesus, Jude, and Mariana went out. Lena and Stef wanted to get to know Jamie better.
"So, Jamie, how's your family doing?" Lena asked as they sat down for dinner. "They're good." He replied with a nod.
"You're a lawyer too, right?" Stef asked. "I am." Jamie confirmed. "Have you and Callie worked on any cases together?" Lena questioned.
"No. We consult quite a bit, but we really aren't supposed to work together for confidentiality reasons." He explained.
"Hmm." Stef hummed. "Um, I actually recently moved in with Jamie." Callie announced. "Oh. Where-where do you live now?" Lena asked hesitantly.
"Not another Coterie house, don't worry." Callie said with a smile quickly. "I live in an apartment." Jamie said simply.
"It's really nice. The view is incredible." She explained furthermore. "That's good, honey. Good for you." Stef said proudly.
"Well, Jamie, when most of the kids are home, we usually all have a movie night. You are more than welcome to watch with us." Lena said.
"I'd be happy to." Jamie grinned, kissing the side of Callie's head gently.

At around 8pm, the whole family met downstairs In the living room, swathed in pajamas. Callie stole one of Jamie's old Harvard sweatshirts and pulled on a pair of flannel pajamas pants.
"Anyone opposed to Daddy's home? That was Callie's favorite along with all the other kids." Stef asked, turning to Jamie.
Stef put the movie on and turned the lights off. Her and Lena sat next to each other, arms wrapped around each other.
Mariana was next to Jesus and Jude, snuggled up in between her brothers.
And then there was Jamie and Callie. He had his arm around her shoulders, and she was curled into his chest, an arm slung around his abdomen.
It was clear that Callie really liked him. And the way he looked at her made Lena and Stef wonder if this would be a forever thing.
But, the fact that Callie made the first move inviting him to officially meet her family was huge for her.
Maybe it really would be a happy ending.
