It seems just like any other building in the big city, a tall skyscraper with frosted black glass on the exterior and neon blue lighting on the inside. You enter the part corporate building, part hotel and walk towards the reception desk, where a girl is sitting behind it. "How may I help you?" she politely asks, you hand over your membership card to the girl, who gives a nod and a smile, "This way please." She stands up and walks towards one side of the building, you follow her until you reach a door marked 'underground car park' she opens the door and holds it open for you. You walk down the stairs, not to an underground car park, but to a large underground room, with a bare bones feel to the place, smart, polished floorboards and a plain brick wall at the far end of the room was another door, where various figures could be seen wandering around, drinks in hand, some lazing on the dark green leather sofas. To the left was a long counter with a stack of various bottles behind it and to one end another door which led to the supply room. Standing in front of the bar was what appeared to be a girl with long blonde hair and a pair of large buns on the side of her head, dressed in a black suit and a yellow tie. Her name faded into view
RAM: OC
RAM: Hello there, we've been expecting you
RAM gestured towards one of the round, polished wooden tables, surrounded by 4 plain, sturdy wooden chairs.
RAM: My name is RAM, and I'll be your host for this evening, normally my master, the owner of this esteemed establishment would be the one to host you, but unfortunately, he is busy working on another project. You must be our silver membership patron, aside from myself and KT7, everyone else here is of a bronze membership, although Master does have a platinum membership.
As you sit down RAM begins to talk about the history of the establishment.
RAM: This establishment was originally a cellar for the house above it, until the 1930's when it became a speakeasy until the abolition of prohibition. The building was knocked down, and during redevelopment, the area became an alley, during which this cellar was rediscovered, sensing a good oppertunity a group of characters from various media decided to create the Inventory, a social club for characters of all walks of life to play cards, darts and dominos, should those activities ever end up becoming illegal. And while that was not the case, due to financial difficulty the original Inventory ended up closing its doors for good in the late 2000's. And then during the late 2010's when there was further redevelopment, this area became a focal point for new business development, and while digging the foundations, they happened to discover this place, master was able to come to an agreement with the owners of the building, and thus, The New Inventory was created, a social club for various indie characters to escape the hustle and bustle of the various triple A listed celebrity clubs that were popping out all over the place. You might see a few C-listers, if you're lucky you might get to see a B-list celebrity. Now if you want any drinks, you can ask KT over there…
You turn your attention back to the bar where a thin wiry looking robot, with a pair of blonde twintails, and one yellow eye turned to face you with her half robotic features and gave you a wave with her giant metal pincers while giving a huge smile, her name faded into view

RAM: If there is anything else you are having a problem with then just call for me, although be aware, you might get a few surprises in this place. Now then, I'll hand you over to our dealer for tonight.
RAM pointed behind you, you turn around to see a young girl with mesmerising green eyes and a long brown ponytail tied up with a large white ribbon, wearing a brown school uniform, her name faded to view.
Monika: Doki Doki Literature Club
Monika: Or for short, DDLC. So then, it's good to see you again.
You are about to say something, but Monika stops you.
Monika: Yes, I know that we've never met before, I'm referring to the people reading this fanfiction who you represent. It's so good to be able to see you again! I'm guessing this is your first time reading this fanfiction. Sorry, I mean it's your first time in the new Inventory, I'll be your dealer for tonight, and I'll go through the rules with you.
Monika walks over to the other side of the table from you while somehow making a pack of cards appear in her hands.
Monika: The game…is Poker, you'll be dealt 5 cards and you choose which cards to keep and which to swap out, starting from the person on the left of me, the dealer. Now I'll go through the sequence of hands about what hands beat what.
Monika snaps her fingers, and five cards appear in your hand: a 2 of clubs, a 4 of diamonds, a 5 of spades, an 8 of spades and a jack of hearts.
Monika: First off you have the high card, this is literally when you have no choice left, the highest card in you hand, in this case the jack of hearts, you'll probably lose with this hand unless someone else has a lower high card than you, if that makes sense.
Monika snapped her fingers again, this time there was two 2's a 4, a 5 and an 8 in the hand.
Monika: Next up the pair, pretty simple to understand, the higher the better, and they beat a high card
Monika snapped her fingers again, this time there was two 2's, two 7's and a 9
Monika: Next is the two pair, rather simple it's two pairs, highest pair wins, and they beat pairs
She snapped her fingers again, now the cards were three 9's a 2 and a 7.
Monika: Then there is the three of a kind, again, rather simple, three of one type of card, in this case the 9's
Another finger snap, this time the hand was the 3 of diamonds, 4 of clubs, 5 of spades, 6 of diamonds and the 7 of hearts
Monika: The straight, where you have a continual numerical run with any suits of cards, they beat the three of a kind
Another finger snap, now the cards were the 2,4,7,8 and king of hearts.
Monika: A flush beats a straight, where all the cards are the same suit
Monika snapped her finger again, now the hand was the 7 of spades, clubs and hearts and the 9 of spades and diamonds.
Monika: A full house is where you have a three of a kind and a pair in the same hand, the highest three of a kind, wins, they beat flushes.
Monika gave another finger snap, this time the cards were the 3 of spades, diamonds, hearts and clubs and the 6 of clubs.
Monika: This is a four of a kind, rather simple, beats a full house.
Yet another finger snap, now the cards were the 7, 8, 9, 10, and jack of hearts.
Monika: This is a straight flush, where you have a continuous run numerically, and in the same suit.
Monika then snapped her fingers once more, and now the cards were the 10, jack, queen, king and ace of clubs.
Monika: And finally, you have the royal flush, ace to 10 in all the same suits.
Monika snapped her fingers for the last time causing the cards in your hands to disappear.
Monika: I hope, you got all that, as you are the representation of the readers, they'll have to decide for you whether to fold, call, raise or go all in. Folding means to give up, thus losing any money that you betted in that round, call means you have to pay the same amount as the person starting the bidding, raise, means to increase the amount that you pay to call in this round, and all in is where you bet everything on your hand, very rewarding, only if your absolutely certain of pulling it off so be careful. You have one week to decide what action you'll take from the publication of the chapter, or alternatively whatever the first five comments decide. Just to make sure I'll do a quick run down of the different hands that's easier for the readers to understand.

You hand over your £10,000 and Monika gives you some chips.
Monika: I believe that is everything, now then, as you are the first one to the table, you'll get to pick who you face tonight.
Monika snapped her fingers and a clipboard appeared in her hands, she hands the clipboard over to you and you slowly take it from her confused. Reading it, you find it to be the guest list.
Monika: You can pick anyone from this list, they are either in the next room, or are on their way, once you make up your mind regarding the four people you'll face, please tell me and I'll gather them to the table.
And with that Monika walked away from the table and into the next room, you cast your eyes down on the clipboard and decide who you plan to play against tonight:
