There's been some recent controversy in the literary community as of late. Alan Wake, who went missing and was presumed dead for over a decade, seems to have plans to release four new novels in the next two months. Sources say that his publishers are baffled by the sudden appearance of these new manuscripts but insist that they are not a hoax.
Barry Wheeler, Wake's former manager, had this to say:
"I saw the manuscripts themselves and I can confirm a hundred and ten percent that the handwriting belongs to my old buddy Alan. Do I think he's alive? Well, I think anything is possible these days. That being said, as he's technically not alive right now according to the law, Myself and Alice have agreed to publish them posthumously, with all royalties from them going to resources for those struggling with their mental health."
The manuscripts in question will be published under their working titles: Departure, Invitation, Return, and Control. We will release more information as the story unfolds.
