Chapter 1 Digidestined of Darkness

The digital world a place where Digimon live, the Digimon as the name implies they are digital monsters but they are more than that.

At a forest was a young man around 17 years old lying down on the ground, he has black jacket and red shirt, he's wearing jeans and black boots with spurs. He has black hair and he opens his eyes to reveal they were red.

"Hey buddy."He looks at a tree to see a Impmon looking down at him from a branch."How long are we going to do something cool?"

"When something happens we shall go."He said.

"Or your just lazy."He looks to the side to see a girl his age looking at him with a smile, she has short hair wearing pink shirt and brown pants.

"Kari."He said.

This is Kari Kamiya and she is his girlfriend.

"Must you always be teasing me."He said.

"Of course... Judai."She smiles at him.

He gets up and he said:"Well let's see what we can do."

Gatomon came and said:"Good since she wanted you to take her out."

Impmon jumps to they're side but then they felt a energy as Baihumon appeared.

"Baihumon!"They got surprised.

"Young digidestined, I need of your aid."He said.

"What do you request?"Judai asked.

"We want you to go to a world that will be doomed should it not be stopped, you must work with the one called the Shield Hero and help him on his journey."

"I see."He looks at Kari who nodded."Then we'll do it."

"Good luck then digidestined."Baihumon then makes a portal making them go inside it.

When they arrived they saw a open field with a medieval city in the distance.

"So this is the place."Kari said.

Judai noticed this stats appear at his vision making it remind him of games.

They heard fighting and they went to see a guy with a green cloak wielding a shield, at his side was a demi human girl and they were fighting against bandits.

"That must be him."Gatomon said.

"Then let us help him."Judai said.

"Master Naofumi."The girl said.

"Just hold on."Naofumi said.

"Bada Boom!"Then a fire blast hits many away surprising the duo and then Gatomon came down and punches many of the bandits away.

"What?"Naofumi got surprised and he then saw Judai and Kari go up to them with they're partners at they're side."Who are you two?"

"I am Judai and this is Kari, along with out partners Impmon and Gatomon."Judai said.

Naofumi got confused, they're names are japanese, like him."Why are your names from Japan?"

"Because we're from Japan."Kari said.

"Yeah obvious ain't it."Impmon smirks surprising the duo.

"It talked."Raphtalia said.

"I am not an it!"Impmon got mad.

"So what is he?"Naofumi said.

"They are known as Digimon, but they're are more than just digital monsters."Judai said.

"Digital monsters."Naofumi got confused.

"Theres a time and place to explain, more so with these bandits and possible spies."Judai said.

"He's very careful."Kari said.

"Okay I know a place."Naofumi said.

They went foward and Kari looks at Judai and said:"Doesn't this remind you how we first met?"

He looks at her and he remembers.

Flashback

At a desert area the fortress of the so called digimon Emperor was now getting destroyed, a battle was happening Kimeramon and Magnamon.

"I will control Kimeramon."Emperor said."I am the one that controls the dark digivice!"

"That is debatable."He heard a voice.

"Who's there?!"He looks around.

The other digidestined also heared that and a younger Kari was there.

Then next to the emperor a portal appeared and from it came a younger Judai with Impmon.

"Who are you?!"Emperor demanded.

"I am Judai, the digidestined of darkness."He said.

"He's the digidestined of darkness!"TK said.

"Yes."Judai takes out a digivice that was a mix of the Dark Digivice top and Fusion Loader body with it being black and red."This is the true dark digivice, that only I possess, I was chosen to be the true user of darkness."

Emperor grunts and then chuckles."Well I still have Kimeramon, I'll have him destroy you and get that digivice."

Kimeramon flies up and looks at them.

"How long are you going to pretend... Devimon?"Judai looks at Kimeramon.

"What?!"The other digidestined said.

He then laughs."Very impressive digidestined of darkness."Emperor was shaking in fear."But I must ask is that Impmon my other half?"

Impmon was a little nervous looking at him.

"That Impmon is Devimon's other half."TK said.

"So what, i'll grow stronger and surpass even you, I'll even be the Digimon King!"Impmon said.

"Good, that's what I expected, very well digidestined of darkness I'll give your partner his other half and you can have this Kimeramon."Devimon said.

"What?!"Emperor said.

The darkness comes out of Kimeramon and goes inside of Impmon making him scream, then Judai lifts his digivice making Kimeramon glow and it goes inside it.

Judai then checks on Impmon who was glowing."Are you alright?"

"Yeah."He grunts.

"This can't be."Emperor was shaking."Give back Kimeramon!"

"Or what your highness?"Judai smirks making him flinch."You don't have anything now, your useless, your true partner is right here and you prefer to play King."Wormon was watching.

"But I think I know the reason."Judai then grabs the emperor by his neck.

"Ken!"Wormon said.

Judai lifts him up and then extracts a dark seed from him.

"I see."Judai drops him."Milleniummon's dark seed, it was such a powerful Digimon that you even created it."

"What?"Ken looks at him.

"Don't you remember, you fought Milleniummon a long time with another person, a seed would have infected the other one if you didn't pushed him getting it instead, it's own power corrupts the targets which is why your so evil, but the funny thing is that Milleniummon was a fusion of both Kimeramon and Machinedramon."

"Machinedramon!"Kari said.

"But how is that possible?"Davis said.

"I was told a rift in time opened bringing the destroyed data of Kimeramon to the past when the original digidestined defeated Machinedramon making them both fuse, so it's your fault Ken that that Digimon existed."Judai said shocking him.

Judai then absorbs the seed and said:"Only the true digidestined of darkness may have his power, I cannot be corrupted as I am darkness."

He then looks up and said:"But now the destiny I've been given with the digidestined of light will begin soon."

TK came out and said:"Your evil, Kari will kill you monster!"

"Darkness is not evil, those that abuse the darkness are evil, my destiny is not to fight her but to marry her."Judai said.

"What?!"They said with Kari blushing.

"It's not something that I wanted but it's simply how the world works, the law of balance, one cannot exist without the other, it's why we're destined to be together."He makes a x with light and darkness using his fingers."But I will not force her, instead i'll win her heart."He jumps off the fortress with Impmon, then he uses his digivice to summon Kimeramon and he let's then ride on it.

They then flied away with the digidestined exiting the place to watch them.

Kari stares at Judai and wonders if what he said is true.

Flashback ends

It did become true as she loves him back, he was happy when she did, Judai gotten much stronger with the seeds power as he was the digidestined of darkness so he can control it.

Note:Yeah it's another Rising Shield Hero story but I couldn't resist making this one, I always wonder why there isn't one with Digimon so I'm doing it myself.
