I lived up to my promise and now...this is going to be something to enjoy while the Owl House season is close to ending and...OH, WHO AM I KIDDING?! WHY DOES EVERY GOOD SHOW HAS TO END SO SOON?! This and Amphibia were a work of art and they had to end too early?! WHY?! *Deep breath* Sorry. I just...I needed to let that out. But I'm still doing the crossover, though. Like I said: I want to watch the rest of the series and see the ideas filling up inside my head. Anyway, I will bring you 3(or probably 4) short stories of my previous work To Love Again and this will be heading towards my other projects I'll be working on. It's going to be a lot because of the fact that I'm working, getting healthy, and other life stuff. But for you guys, I'll keep on making it happen and get it done.

In this story, this will tell about certain events that involve the fall of Belos and a change of hearts to other characters. Usually some stuff that's happening from Season Two and hints of a crossover is needed for a little spoiler. And...I may add a little lemon scene for the two lovely ladies: Eda and Camila. But that's on another site on my profile due to regulations. Oh, I'm planning on making a Steven Universe/The Owl House fanfic showing us Camila's romantic date with Greg Universe and how they've met. Hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Owl House or Gravity Falls as they belong to their respective owners and the songs are not mine except my OC Maya.

Chapter 1: A New Light Of The Blights

{Phora ft. Jhene Aiko - Stars In The Sky}

Luz wasn't speeding much on the staff as she was enjoying the scenic view of the sight below and the stars shining in the sky. The ride was smooth and quiet while things were flowing inside her mind after today's event. Luz was feeling ecstatic to see her former dead friend back to the living and her mami working things out between them again. Her life was hell before Boiling Isles, but it was getting a lot better now that her life is starting right now.

Her train of thought soon paused as she felt something rubbing on her back and purring like a soft kitten. Luz didn't need to figure out that it was her girlfriend snuggling up to her while listening to some songs on Luz's music player. The Latina girl blushed pink with a soft giggle to have such an awesome girlfriend with her during the ride to Blight Manor.

'I wish this moment could last forever. But one day…' Luz thought as her heart was beating steady.

Amity could feel her girlfriend's heartbeat and snuggling more onto her. It was like a sweet lullaby to just be close to the person that gave her a second chance in life. Boiling Isles changed ever since Luz came and people were with joy after she took down Emperor Belos and gain the assistance of Hunter: the former Golden Guard. Although her and Hunter got off on a rough start, they made amends and became friends. It was even crazy that he now became Luz's older brother! In Boiling Isles, anything is possible.

And it was so grand that Luz can stay here and visit her mother Camila since Eda got her magic back and made a new portal to the Human Realm! It was even better that the Noceda family are owners of their own keys to travel through realms.

Amity was happy about her life, but now it was time for her to be home with her family as they arrived at Blight Manor. It was a few feet away from the door and Luz landed them both down on the ground. Luz got off and offers a hand to help Amity down. The staff disappeared as Owlbert perched on Luz's shoulder.

"Good Owlbert. After we head home, I'll bring you a nice treat." Luz said while scratching the palisman on his cheek softly.

"Thanks for the ride, Luz." Amity said while watching a cute moment.

Luz turned to Amity and replied, "No problem! I didn't want you to be out here alone. I know things are peaceful here in the Boiling Isles now, but you can't be too careful."

Amity smiled. "Thanks, but I'll be okay."

"I know, Amity. You're one of the next powerful witches I've known, but I just wanted to make sure you are safe." Luz stated while rubbing her arm.

The Blight girl was touched by this and felt happy to have Luz care for her. Even though her Gay Panics were gone, Amity could feel her cheeks warming up. "I appreciate it. So Luz?"

"Hmm?" Luz hummed.

"Are you still...surprised about what happened today? I mean your best friend is alive and we have new things we haven't even figured out around here. And…" Amity was feeling uneasy asking her girlfriend something irrelevant that made her think about how Luz feels about Maya.

Luz came close to Amity and wanted to know what she was thinking about. She becomes curious as to why Amity would ask something about her best friend. Suddenly, her brain gave her the message and held her girlfriend's left hand. "Amity, there's nothing to worry about. Me and Maya are just friends."

"Oh." The mint-haired witch said softly. "I just thought...that maybe-"

"Nothing like that would ever happen." Luz interrupts her as she continues. "The moment we became friends, Maya always looks out for me when I feel alone or getting bullied. She helped me through parts of my childhood and let me be myself. Maya never judged me, betrayed me, and insulted me about being bisexual. She's one too and thought that I would find that special someone to accept me for who I really am. Maya's like an older sister I'd never had and I loved her since we've been like family."

Amity felt her heart become steady and smiled to know how Luz really feels about Maya. She believed every word Luz said and never knew how happy she was with her friend then and now. Her hand was pulled up as she heard Luz speaking again.

"But that was when I met you, Amity. Although we started off badly, you've managed to grow and began to break out of that shell of yours. The one that made you what you are not. Someone who doesn't have to follow expectations, being perfect, or being a puppet for someone else's ideals. You have been forgiven for the things you've done and worked so hard to become a better person." Luz kissed Amity's left palm and continued her speech. "That night when you loved me back, I was happy and couldn't believe it. I thought to myself that I would never get a chance to be with you, but I was glad that we're a couple and prove to you how much I love you. Amity, I don't know what the future holds for us. But know that I'll be there by your side and make you the happiest witch in Boiling Isles. I just need your approval to do so."

Amity was wiping away tears from that heartfelt speech and nodded her head softly. "I do, Luz. No other person can make me happier than you."

Luz had a gentle smile and felt better to know how Amity will always be with her through a tough journey. "Well, I better get going."

"Yeah," replied Amity. "See you on Monday, Luz." Before she would leave, Amity felt her hand being caressed and turned to see Luz staring at her with a soft smile. "Luz?"

No words were said as the Latina girl pulled Amity in for a kiss. Upon her lips pressed to her girlfriend's, Amity savors the moment and closes her eyes while kissing back. Her arms wrapped around Luz's neck and Luz pulled the mint-haired girl by the waist. Amity's left leg was up and she felt peace. This was everything she wanted.

Luz and Amity parted the kiss and Owlbert knew it was time to go. Upon forming the staff again, Luz got on and waved goodbye to Amity with a small blush. "Te amo, mi hermosa bruja."

Once she flew off, Amity giggled and whispered, "Yo también te amo, mi valiente humana." Although new to speaking a new language, she picked up a few from her girlfriend while hanging out. It came in handy and couldn't wait to see her again at Hexside. Maybe her night was the best thing to ever happen.

But as she turned around, Amity's eyes were wide and her blush was close to making her into a tomato once she thought one thing: 'Oh...farts.'

Right there leaning by the door was none other than Alador Blight as he had on a knowing smirk to see just about everything he saw for a few minutes. He was actually checking up to see if Amity arrived back home before it got dark, but spotted her getting dropped off by Luz. Alador didn't say anything and watched the tender moment from the two once they pulled away from the kiss. And seeing his daughter blushing like that, he quietly chuckled at the reaction.

"Bold move, sister!"

Fate must hate Amity that now her older siblings, Emira and Edric, saw the show and had ideas on how to embarrass her as planned. It was more worse when they plan on telling Viney and Jerbo the romantic scene.

Amity sighed and knew what was going to happen. She shook her head and came up to the house with a small smile. She passed her father and he closed the door.

"I'm guessing you were hanging out with Miss Noceda, huh?" Alador stated. Unlike Odalia, he pronounced Amity's girlfriend correctly and respected her as a person rather than a thing.

"Yes, Father." Amity answered. "Things were good today and she gave me this necklace at the market."

"Hmm. Remarkable." Alador stared in awe as he gazed at its beauty. "It must've cost a lot."

"It was. But she insisted and with the reward money she saved up, it was worth the purchase." Amity said with a soft blush. Suddenly, she felt her left leg getting tugged and looked to see her cat palisman Ghost.

"Aww, hey there!" Amity picked her up and petted her fur. "I miss you, too. Hope you weren't too lonely while I was gone."

Alador answered for her. "Ghost was feeling bored and alone so I had her accompany me to the lab to work on my new Abominations. After that, I made sure she's fed and let her play around with an Abomination in the shape of a cat."

"Wow, thanks. At least she's happy." Amity replied as she put Ghost down.

"Not as much as how much we want to hear about your day, Mittens."

Amity and Alador turn to see Emira and Edric coming down the hallway with smiles on their faces. Even though they like to tease their little sister, they got along better after the family felt free from a certain person's rulings. They lessened their prankings and excelled at Hexside that the teachers were dumbfounded by their behavior.

"Already told Jerbo and Viney about what happened tonight?" Amity asked.

"We thought about it, but we decided to give you a break." Emira said.

"Seems like Luz is doing a great job at making you happy." Edric added. "Although I'm curious as to what you were up to. I thought you would browse around the market and come back."

"Well...there was a slight problem that happened over there." Amity rubbed her arm nervously.

"I can tell." Alador stated while stroking his chin. "One of the guards told me that you and Luz stopped some Slitherbeasts from attacking Steve and anyone else."

"That part was true, but something else happened. It's best if you all sit down for this."

The Blight family looked at her with questionable looks; they were wondering what else would be going on when Amity was at the market. They were in the living room to hear Amity's story. Soon after, she explained how she and Luz took out the first Slitherbeast and had to lead the other out of town. Amity got to the part where the second one was killed by a Darkenian wolf and introduced Luz's friend who came back from the dead.

"A Darkenian Wolf, huh? I think Viney showed me a picture of them one time. They're rumored to be extinct." Emira said.

"One survived and it befriended Maya. And for Luz's old friend, she's been here way before Luz got to Boiling Isles." Amity added.

Edric hummed. "Before Luz? I wonder how Belos didn't recognize or hear about it."

"Probably in hiding and didn't want no one to figure out how she was the only human here." Alador said with an intrigued look. "But befriending an extinct beast is truly something."

"Tell me about it." Amity sighed. "Anyway, things were well and we were just hanging out at the Owl House to talk about random stuff."

"Got anything for tomorrow?" Emira asked.

"Nah. Me and Luz are having a relaxing day. She has to do some stuff with the Owl Lady and I'll meet her up on Monday." Amity replied.

"Okay then. I was wondering if you would like to have a day with me and Viney tomorrow afternoon. Viney was spotting some wild creatures by the shoreline and we needed to see how well they are since some poachers were hunting them." Emira offered.

Amity thought about it and it would be nice to discover some new things around to see if it can lead to more on the Darkenian Wolves for Maya. "Hmm. Sure, I don't mind. Just as long as we don't make a mess of things. What about you, Edric?"

"I'm hanging with Jerbo and Barcus to study more magic." Edric answered. "I need to learn more illusions so I can achieve something more."

"Seems fair. Say, how about bringing Willow along as well?" Emira suggested.

"Don't know if she wants to…"

Alador was just watching the scene and felt something inside his bile sac to watch his children getting along without teasing each other or being a little distant. Thinking about how he was in the past, he felt a little guilty to believe how he barely had time for the other since he was too focused on working with Abomination weapons for Blight Industries. Alador was lucky that the twins would welcome him with open arms again. But Amity...that's a different story.

His actions for having his young daughter go through so much just so she can get approval of him and Odalia while making sure she joins the Emperor's Coven. But ever since Darius, former leader of Abomination, and Kikimora took over the company, Alador was livid and his work was confiscated. It was even worse when Odalia sold her own family out for power. Maybe it was that moment that he was so focused on his work that his kids were important to protect. Especially Amity.

'I owe her this much. She nearly went a different path and I neglected her happiness and childhood just so she can be the next Odalia Maverick. One day, I hope Amity could find it in her heart to forgive me. Even if I don't deserve it.' Alador thought sadly after knowing his mistakes. He snapped out of it after hearing the Blight siblings were done discussing their plans for tomorrow.

"It seems that we have plans figured out. I'm sleeping in early." Edric said.

"Same here. We better do the same, Mittens. Also, make sure to call Willow if she wants to join." Emira stated.

"I'll see what I can do." Amity replied as the children got up to leave the room. Once the twins left, she stopped and turned to see her father not moving out of the chair. "Are you coming, Father?"

Alador shook his head. "I just need a minute alone. You go ahead and do what you want."

Amity was curious as to what made him sound like that, but she followed his wishes and went to her room to talk to Willow. Alador took the time to look at the family portrait behind him to see the Blight family together. However, one face was removed and never again reminded about that moment when Odalia betrayed her own family. All so she could kill the human that changed Amity.

Flashback

Boiling Isles became a battleground when the Day of Unity began. Witches and demons were running amok and chaos was going around to start anew. Emperor Belos and the Coven Leaders were launching a full-scale takeover to capture anyone who gets in his way. Blight Enterprise was one of the first to rule as Darius and Kikimora had all of Alador's inventions turned against him and the Blight family. Every last one was designed in their own basic defense protocol that Kikimora had evil minds tinker with them.

However, Odalia was able to make a deal as she wanted nothing more but to please Belos by doing the impossible of taking down one certain human. Amity was outraged that her own mother would do something so heinous to kill Luz for no reason. Odalia stated that she blamed the human for tainting the Blight name by changing Amity into someone weak and powerless while rebelling against her own parents. Alador said nothing as he and the twins were captured by the Abomitons and other soldiers. Odalia was enraged by Amity's tone after hearing her daughter saying that she'd rather be a witch outcast than a Blight.

The older Blight had enough and slapped Amity across the face, sliding her right close to Alador and the twins. Edric and Emira called out to their sister as she was being held up by one of the guards. Alador was beyond shocked that Odalia, his own wife, would hurt her own child like that! In fact, his mind started to open up about what was going on with his family. His work was always important and made sure to leave a good impression for Blight Industries and Belos himself. But as the years went by, his interaction with the kids was distant and barely cared for what they did.

Amity was different as she was the top student at Hexside to obtain good grades. She was giving awards and recognition to honor the family name. It was then said that she might be able to be part of the Emperor's Coven. It was a proud achievement and Alador was feeling great about Amity making it for a brighter future. But...at what cost? While looking deeper inside his mind, he basically followed Odalia to the idea of Amity not getting distracted and wanting their daughter to make a name for herself and the company.

First: It started with forbidding Amity to be friends with Willow or things could happen to her family. Next: She was forced to take Abomination classes and follow up on basic instructions on perfecting them. Then: Replacing Willow with random friends and hearing that the poor girl was getting bullied by them, including Amity. And finally: Forcing her to keep excellent scores and be the next 'Perfect Blight'. Realizing what was now happening, Alador felt guilt and sorrow to know how much his own daughter was hurt on the inside. Never seeing a happy smile, no longer working things out with Willow, becoming feared by her peers, and...being the next Odalia Maverick! He felt like a fool for not being there for the kids and neglecting them out of his life.

He could hear the sobs of his daughter as she was looking at Odalia with sadness and anger. The older woman didn't plan on looking at Amity and freed Alador from his binds. Kikimora left to finish some business as Darius stayed with Odalia to prepare for the human's arrival. Alador knew this was wrong; all so his wife could kill Luz and break Amity again. He had no choice but to walk towards Odalia and see their children locked away somewhere in the house. Before he would face them, he heard something that broke him inside.

"Alador...Odalia...you're dead to me. I have no parents anymore."

The children were gone and Odalia smirked at her work. But for Alador...he lost Amity and the twins. Unable to say anything, he went back to the basement and avoided the battle to come.

Upon hearing the battle, Luz showed up and demands Odalia to tell her where Amity is. Nothing was answered except for when Luz evaded an attack by an Abomiton. It formed a pendulum blade and started swinging around towards the human. Luz was defending herself when two Abominations were about to surround her. Thinking quickly, she used her own glyphs of ice and fire to strike back and shatter one of the two. But suddenly, the Abomaton struck her with a fist and caused her to slam right to the wall.

Although she felt pain, Luz was quick enough to avoid another hit. Darius decided to depart from the massacre as he left the human's demise to Odalia's hands. She was feeling joy inside to see how a human's insides would look while being crushed.

"Now, I will make sure that Amity learns her place when I kill this filth of a human." Odalia smirked as she snapped her fingers to launch another attack.

Luz was feeling tired, but kept on going strong to find Amity. Another set of Abominations were heading her way and she kept using more ice glyphs to stop them. They broke free and followed after her on the second floor. She felt pain on her side as she leaned on the wall for support. She looks behind her and sees two Abominations attacking with more goo. Luz managed to dodge them as the place was getting destroyed. Suddenly, a spike came from the floor and aimed directly at Luz.

"AHH!" She screamed and blocked it with the last ice glyph. But the floor was riddled with more spikes as Luz activated her vine glyph to swing away from the trap. Although she made it to the other side, Luz didn't get a chance to look at the hammer slamming right to her lower torso.

The pain was intense and it had gotten her to feel a broken rib. Luz spat out a bit of blood and gazed at the Abomiton soldier in front of her. Its hand morphed into a hand and grabbed her by the collar of her hoodie and on the wall. Luz was struggling, but stopped to hear footsteps.

"Pathetic." Odalia came up to her with an evil smirk and felt proud of her work. "A human living in Boiling Isles and thinking she could be a witch? How pitiful that you've managed to survive this long without getting eaten or killed."

"Why? W-Why are you doing...t-this?! Why side with Belos?! H-He's going...to destroy everything!" Luz stammered while trying to break free.

"Nonsense! While the Day of Unity is at hand, I will make sure that Blight Enterprises will succeed onto new heights! With much more profitable gains, my weapons and more arsenals will lead to riches beyond my wildest dreams!" Odalia laughed at the idea of becoming more powerful in the Emperor's Coven.

"But what about your family?! What about Amity?!" Luz shouted.

Odalia looked back at Luz with a sneer on her face as she approached her. "My family? The family that YOU mettled your business in? The family YOU made turn against me?! And the fact that Amity has been tainted by YOU speaking to her! Once an excellent student with high expectations until you showed up and made her slack on her studies!" Odalia had her hand on Luz's lower face to get her to look closer. "I was a laughingstock in front of investors and the Coven leaders to see how my greatest achievement has crumbled into something USELESS!"

As the older Blight let go, Luz retorts. "Amity's not useless; she's her own person with her own future and goals! You were just pushing her too much and she nearly lost herself because of you! She's just a child and you care less about her and more about your image!"

"The problem about that is the fact that a foolish human would dare mock me and ruin everything I've ever worked for! Edric and Emira were not even close to making the family better with their damn pranks and disobeying me! But Amity...she was just lucky to be born."

Luz was shocked by that statement , but frowned to look at the sadistic woman. "You know what, Odalia? It's sad that you've sold out your own family just to get rich and rule for your own image. And an evil woman like you should be happy to have amazing children! What kind of mother are you?! I thought you would change and rebel against Belos! But I was wrong and you are nothing but a-"

Luz was silent when a fist connected to her face right to her jaw. And another hit to the injured stomach. Her cries of pain were loud enough inside the mansion to hear as Odalia had enough of the Latina girl. Her emotions were neutral and didn't want Luz to speak more.

"I had enough filth like you. Maybe I'm doing both Realms a favor by killing an outcast failure like yourself." Odalia's words stung Luz as she felt a tear coming down her face from the insult and the punch. "It's time to end this. Abomiton...end that human."

Abomiton followed the order directly and formed a spike. It was pointing at Luz and she was defenseless without any glyphs on her. Odalia smirked and got ready to snap her fingers to end Luz's life.

"Well, human, any last words?" She asked. But before she would snap her fingers…

"STAY AWAY FROM MY LUZ, YOU BITCH!"

A fireball was lauched at the Abomiton and caused it to loosen its grip on Luz. Odalia got out of the way and saw her destructive weapon turning into melting goo as the fire was spreading quickly. The older Blight looked at where the fireball was made and gasped in horror to see Amity and the twins in the hallway.

"WHAT?! HOW DID YOU-?!" Her words were silent as she noticed how her daughter was forming into something menacing. Her eyes were now gold and her hair went down with something forming all over her body. It covered her in Abomination goo and her hands were forming into blades.

"Hell awaits you for making our lives A LIVING NIGHTMARE!" Amity's voice became menacing while staring at her with rage.

Odalia snarled and snapped her fingers to bring forth more Abominations. All to do her biddings, but failed as Amity wasn't hesitant to kill them as she slowly took them out one by one. 'What is she doing?! How did she become so strong?!'

"You are a disgrace as a mother, Odalia!" Amity snarled while cutting one Abomination down. "A mother was suppose to love their children!" She slashed two more, causing Odalia to stumble back. "Cherish them, inspire them, show them happiness, and comfort when you're feeling down!" Amity took down another, but had an Abomiton soldier in front of her. She wasn't having none of that and made a scythe. "I was too blind and stupid to follow your expectations that I sacrificed EVERYTHING because of you!" Amity started slicing up the legs. "I severed my friendship with Willow…" Next came the right arm. "Bullied her and others along the way…" Then the other arm. "Having my childhood taken from me and forcing me to dye my hair to look like the fucking bitch you are!" And finally: the entire body.

The Abomiton was destroyed and Odalia was filled with horror to look into the eyes of Death from her daughter as she was close to the ledge that was smashed open. "Amity...n-now calm down. W-We can talk about this!"

"After what you did to Luz...you've lost your chance to talk!" Amity raised her scythe in the air and stared at her ex-mother's eyes.

"No…" Odalia whispered softly.

"Now...YOU DIE-"

"Amity..!"

Amity stopped the weapon close to Odalia's head and looked to see Luz getting support from Edric and Emira. The scythe disappeared and Amity rushed over to tend to Luz. "Luz! Are you okay? You shouldn't be standing!"

"I...I-I didn't want you...t-to hurt her...because of me. You're better than that." Luz gritted her teeth after a sharp pain struck her.

As the Blight siblings help out Luz, Odalia thought it was the perfect moment to take them down at once! From her left back pocket, she pulled out an amulet that emits dark green energy and pointed directly at them. "YOU BRATS!"

Everyone looked at her direction and Emira stared in horror at the amulet. "Is that the-?!"

"Why, yes! It's the Amulet of Serpentra: One of the Emperor's Coven's finest treasures! Knowing how you three betrayed me, I guess I'll see my mistakes erased from existence!" Odalia cackled evilly while her kids were speechless. "Once you get hit with this, you'll be petrified in a matter of seconds! I always wanted some ornaments in the garden!"

"Mother! Why are you doing this?!" Edric shouted. "What have we ever done to you?!"

Odalia barked back. "What have you done?! Nothing but being a useless bunch of trash I called children! Being failures and pranksters for not living up to the Blight name! And the more I think about it, I was enraged to see nothing going my way and I was laughed at for it! You two rejects share the same brain of a hollow echo mouse! Including the fact that you two are dating the same sex! How disgusting and filthy! But...the only regret I had in my life...was having Amity born in this world!"

Amity felt her heart just shattered from what her former mother said. It was painful to hear those words that her Abomination form dissolved and left her normal again.

"I guess I was wrong to have you live. You were nothing but an accident that should've gotten rid of inside me. A weak example of life itself and a disgrace to the Blight name. And now, it's time I correct it!" Odalia activated the amulet and prepared to fire at the teens. "Go to Hell, you rejects!"

The moment it was fired, something was flown into that direction. A giant mirror was in front of the teens and reflected back to Odalia.

"WHAT THE-?!"

The blast struck her and she was starting to stir from the attack. However, Odalia heard crackling as the blast got her in the stomach and started to form stone!

"No! No, no, no, no! Impossible! How did-" She looked at the children with an angry look! "What have you bastards done to me?!"

Luz and the others were speechless to say anything until a pair of footsteps came up to them. Upon the arrival, it was Alador with the same expression, but a serious look.

"Dad?!" Edric and Emira spoke at the same time. Amity was shocked and confused at the same time.

"ALADOR?! What is the meaning of this?!" Odalia shouted while slowly getting petrified.

While walking towards her, Alador spotted the amulet and picked it up. He observed its ability and sighed deeply. "I have been neglecting my kids too long, Odalia. The only person who've lost their way in the Blight name is you."

Odalia was flabbergasted at her husband's response as she stood back. She was near the ledge and the drop might be close to 10 or 20 feet. "Alador...y-you can't possibly be serious right now! Power, money, and respect: tools that will make us invincible in all of Boiling Isles! And we can prove that we are the power couple to Belos and he can help us with anything in the world! We don't need those bastard children; we can have each other and start a better and perfect family! They mean nothing and that filthy human can join them! Please, Alador, join me and we'll rule this place with an iron fist! Please, I beg of you. Do the right thing." She pulled out her hand and had on a gentle smile to have her husband trust her on the idea.

Alador looked back at the teens and noticed how scared they are to see him holding the amulet. They were thinking he would turn on his own kids for power and serve Belos for the Day of Unity. Alador saw his daughter and spotted tears in her eyes from Odalia's insult. Just looking at her made his heart crushed to see the younger version of Amity going through hell and losing her innocence through verbal abuse, painful training, and isolating herself from the world. This was all he could take. Alador made his choice and turned to Odalia to say one thing:

"No."

He activated the amulet and shot at Odalia with full blast. It made her fall from the ledge, screaming as she was petrified at a faster rate. Her voice was silenced and…

[SFX: Smash!]

...The petrified body was shatted to pieces. It was done: Odalia Maverick was dead.

No words were made and Alador came up to the teens. Never had they imagined what the male Blight did and thought it was a trick. But seeing how the amulet worked and the crash was real, their former mother was gone! Once then, Alador came up to Luz to see her injuries. She stood back a little and his children were ready to defend her.

"It's fine. I need to heal her." Alador reassured them.

"Heal? But, dad-" Edric was cut off when a blue light was glowing in Alador's left hand. He went up to Luz and pressed his hand on her injuries. Suddenly, Luz could feel a slight pain on her abdomen, but it was getting healed up quickly. Once he was done, Luz tried moving her body a bit to now feel nothing hurt.

Luz looked at Alador with a surprising look and said, "Thank you…"

Alador slightly nodded and gave Amity the amulet. "Go stop Belos. But Kikimora is going to be a problem so it's best if you take her down first. Find her army, you'll find that little demon."

While Amity was still lost in her thoughts about what happened, Luz nodded her head and said, "Let's go, everyone."

Hearing that, Emira and Edric followed Luz as Amity stayed for a bit. The young Blight was staring at her father while he did the same. So many emotions to describe how they're feeling and so much to explain over the history they had with each other. Years of neglect and distance towards another and this was those moments where they could finally let their true feelings show. But it wasn't that time yet and Amity put away the amulet. She didn't bother tying her hair up as she left her dad alone while going after Luz.

No words spoken and Alador took a ring off of his finger. He went over to the ledge to look down and see the remains of his stoned ex-wife. Alador tossed the ring over and took a deep breath of relief to see the smoke rising from Bonesburough to the crimson sky.

End Flashback

Alador wasn't proud of what he did over the years and made terrible mistakes. But what he never regrets was having the kids in his life. Throughout the times he was focusing on his work, he never had the chance to bond with them and see how everything was for them. He didn't even mind them dating people of the same sex and their partners were kind to them. Even Amity got her wish and dated the human Luz. As long as his kids are happy, so was he and Alador loved it.

He decided to see what Amity was up to and check if she needed anything. Upon arriving at her room, he could hear her talking to someone on the crystal ball. Alador took a peek and spotted his daughter talking to her former best friend Willow. But the Plant Witch wasn't alone as she was held by someone who was from the Bard Coven. He believes it was Skara and overheard that Willow and Skara are dating, earning a soft squeal from Amity.

Seeing her this happy was enough to have his heart skip a beat. Alador was not going to spy on his daughter and let her be. Still, he would have to talk to her soon and find ways to bond one day. Did I forget to mention that these short stories are going to be having dark themes? No? Well, they are! But it will turn out for the better once you hear what happened during the Day of Unity. Still dealing with the hiatus, but it's cool! Anyway, the next one will be how Hunter and Maya met. We'll get to Eda's story soon and how Camila's conversation with Greg is going. There will be an epilogue special once this is over and the crossover will surely begin! Later!
