Author's note
Dear readers,
Although this story has been uploaded in the original CSI section, it's actually more in line with the reboot CSI: Vegas. I do plan however to bring back other "old" characters to meet the new ones. In my mind, this story takes place half way through (or even at the end) of season 1. Which is challenging because I have no idea how the new characters are behaving.
Further more, English is my second language, and even though I am pretty good at it, there still might some mistakes noticeable. At this moment, I don't have a beta for it and I don't have time to actively search for one (something to do with two jobs -not that I need them, but hey, it spices up life- and studying screenplay writing -that's one of the jobs-). So, even though I posted the first chapter of this new fan fiction, I really have no idea when I'll be able to update. Please bear with me if updates have a long in between period.
That said, I hope you will enjoy this story and let me know what you think of it.
