A/N: Here's the start of my Spider-Man season 2 story, taking place a few months after the last season ended.

Please read and review?

In New York City, on a September afternoon, both Spider-Man and Ghost Spider were sitting against the wall of a tall building in Brooklyn, looking at parts of the city. It had been just over two months since the battle on the George Washington Bridge with the Green Goblin, which resulted in him getting amnesia, which hopefully meant, he wouldn't be coming back ever.

"City's pretty quiet today." Ghost Spider noted.

"Sure is." Spider-Man agreed. "I hope it is for the next few days, since school starts again."

It was true, as they'd be back at High School in about five days, to start their Junior Year.

"Well, at least nothing happened on my birthday." Ghost Spider sighed, as she'd turned 16 only a week after the battle.

"Yeah, and the first one we celebrated as a couple." Spider-Man said, touching her shoulder.

"And we'll celebrate yours together as well next year." Ghost Spider teased, putting her hand on his chin.

They both turned around and began to climb up the side of the building, before their Spider-Senses tingled.

"Huh?" Spider-Man muttered.

"You too?" Ghost Spider asked.

They both turned around and looked around, but could see anything.

"Okay, there has to be something going on." Spider-Man said. "Our Spider-Senses don't go off for nothing."

They both kept looking around, before Spider-Man gasped.

"You've got to be kidding me?!" he gasped.

"Huh?" Ghost Spider muttered.

She turned to him, then looked over his shoulder, and saw none other that the Black Widow Spider Slayer.

"The Black Widow?!" Ghost Spider exclaimed.

They both jumped off the wall as it shot cables from its bottom, then they both landed on a smaller building's rooftop.

"I thought we destroyed that thing months ago?!" Ghost Spider questioned.

"So did I!" Spider-Man assured. "Someone must've rebuilt it!"

They both turned as Black Widow landed in front of them, then they shot webs from both hands, which wrapped all around its legs, trapping it. It's pincers then lit up like a pair of blowing torches, then it lowered its head and cut through the webs.

"You don't think Prof. Smythe's still alive, do you?" Ghost Spider asked.

"It's possible." Spider-Man said.

He turned around slightly, and saw a tower with two relay dishes on it, shooting sonic waves out.

"That's it. Follow me." Spider-Man said.

He turned and ran towards the tower, then Ghost Spider followed him, before they began to climb up it.

"This oughta sizzle your circuits." Spider-Man joked, aiming one of the dishes at Black Widow.

Black Widow moved along the rooftop, before the sonic waves hit it, shorting it out.

"Impressive." Ghost Spider commented, whacking her partner's arm playfully.

"Thanks. We'd better check this out." Spider-Man said.

The tower then began to shake just as their Spider-Senses tingled, making them both wobble.

"Huh?" they muttered.

They both looked down, and saw another Spider Slayer below them - this one being larger than the Black Widow, a light blue colour, and resembled a Tarantula, with a missile launcher and cannon near its head.

"Another Spider Slayer?!" Spider-Man exclaimed.

"Oh, just what we need!" Ghost Spider groaned sarcastically. "And this one's bigger!"

The Tarantula kept shaking the tower, causing both Spiders to fall off it and down a building.

"Oh, boy! Not good!" Ghost Spider gulped.

"Time to glide, partner." Spider-Man said.

Ghost Spider nodded, before they spread their arms out, then glided down towards the street on their gilder wings. They soon landed in the street, just outside a café, where people were sitting, who spotted them, along with a waiter.

"Sorry about that, folks." Ghost Spider apologised.

"Yeah, go back to your meals." Spider-Man said.

"Look out!" a man yelled, pointing behind them.

Both Spiders turned around as Tarantula flew down off the building on jetpacks from its belly, then landed in the street.

"Ah! Let's go!" a woman panicked.

Everyone got up and ran off, as Tarantula aimed at the Spiders, who turned to each other.

"Take the left side." Spider-Man said.

"Right!" Ghost Spider understood.

They both jumped up and stuck to a building on either side of the street - Spider-Man the right, Ghost Spider the left. Spider-Man then shot a web from his right hand, and swung over it, before taking a Spider Tracer from his belt.

"I don't know who built you, but thanks to this little bug, we're gonna follow you wherever you go." he said, dropping the tracer, which stuck to Tarantula's back.

He landed near Ghost Spider on the other side of the street, just as Tarantula fired a missile at them both.

"Look out!" Ghost Spider yelled, pushing Spider-Man away.

The missile hit the area near her, which sent out a bunch of green gas, making her dizzy.

"Oh! Can't...breath!" she coughed.

She then passed out and began to fall from the building.

"Ghostie!" Spider-Man cried.

He jumped off the wall and shot a web from his left hand, then swung towards her, catching her as she fell. He then shot another web from his left hand, then swung down towards the ground, then he put her down, and checked her pulse.

"Phew, she's okay." he sighed. "It was just sleeping gas."

He turned around and stared at Tarantula, who stared at him.

"I barely stopped the Black Widow with Ghost." Spider-Man thought. "How am I gonna stop this creep?"

He turned around as he heard a noise, and saw Black Widow landing behind him.

"The Black Widow's back!" Spider-Man exclaimed. "Oh, how can I fight two Spider Slayers by myself at once?"

He turned back as Tarantula fired a ray from its cannon, but missed and hit the top of lamppost behind him, which then froze up and shattered.

"A freeze ray?" Spider-Man gasped. "Oh, that's enough to give me arachnophobia."

He looked around, just as Ghost Spider raised her head up.

"Uh!" she moaned. "Wh-what's going on?"

"We've got double trouble." Spider-Man said, helping her up.

Tarantula then shot its freeze cannon, hitting both Spiders in the chest.

"UGH!" they moaned, as ice came onto them.

Black Widow then shot its cables at them both of them, just as Ghost Spider fell unconscious, still not recovered from the sleeping gas, before it hit Spider-Man's back.

"Uh!" he yelped, the ice on his falling off.

Black Widow then began to retract its cable and pull him towards itself.

"If Ghost and myself get outta this one, we're gonna need to follow you too." he thought, turning to it.

He took a Spider Tracer from his belt, then put it on Black Widow's cable, just before he got close to it. Tarantula then fired a missile at him, which hit the ground near him and Black Widow, sending out sleeping gas, making him cough, before he passed out.

Soon, the Black Widow and the Tarantula flew towards the Kingpin's skyscraper, still carrying the Spiders, as a large hanger door lowered itself down. Both Spider Slayers then entered the skyscraper, then the hanger door closed behind them both, as they put both Spiders down on a table each.

"Oh!" they moaned.

The tables then strapped them both down, putting sliver gauntlets over both their forearms, while metal restraints went over their chests.

"Excellent." a voice said. "Just excellent."

Both Spiders woke up slightly, and saw Hammerhead standing in front of them.

"Hammerhead?!" Spider-Man exclaimed. "So you're behind this?!"

"Sort of, bug." Hammerhead smirked. "But I didn't build these things."

"Then who did?" Ghost Spider snarled, trying to get free.

"I did, and don't bother trying to break free. It's a metal that doesn't break easily." a voice said.

"Who said that?" Ghost Spider demanded.

"I did." the voice smirked.

Both Spiders turned left, as Alister Symthe came out of the shadows, sitting in his hover chair.

"You? Weren't you at that warehouse months ago when we destroyed the original Black Widow?" Spider-Man inquired.

"Right, web-head." Alister said. "And now, you two are gonna pay for what you've done."

"What are you talking talking about?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Both of you web-slingers killed my Father, and now you're gonna pay!" Alister snarled.

He pressed buttons on a keyboard on his hover chair, then a bomb lowered itself down between the Spiders.

"Father? You mean, that Symthe guy from the warehouse?" Spider-Man questioned.

"Bingo." Alister answered. "When the warehouse blew up, my Father perished it there, and it's your fault it blew up. His only dream was to see my walk again, which you both shattered that day!"

"Excuse me, but your Father attacked us with a Spider Slayer!" Spider-Man recalled.

"Yeah! We had to defend ourselves!" Ghost Spider added.

"Well, you could've at least tried to save him when the warehouse exploded." Alister snarled.

"We thought he escaped!" Ghost Spider swore. "Honest!"

"Well, he didn't." Alister snarled.

The bomb then attached itself to the restraints on the Spiders forearms - Spider-Man's left, Ghost Spider's right.

"And what's this for?" Spider-Man asked.

"This thing, is a powerful explosive bomb, which is set to detonate in one hour." Alister explained. "Once it blows, you'll both go up with it, avenging my Father for what you did! And while that happens, I'll have my Spider Slayers go after your friends."

"Friends?" Ghost Spider questioned. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh, by friends, he means people in the city." Hammerhead smirked. "Like Jonah Jameson and Capt. Stacy. They'll create havoc all over the city while you two get blown to pieces. And there's nothing you can do about it!"

He laughed evilly as he turned around and walked away.

"How can you work for someone like him, Symthe?" Ghost Spider frowned.

"Because he helped me get this hover chair." Alister smirked, as he turned it around and moved away. "My Spider Slayers are going to dump you in the city, and then they begin wrecking havoc in the city."

The Tarantula fired a missile at the Spiders, which hit the ground near them, then a bunch of sleeping gas came out of it.

"Guess we're...gonna get...more to sleep tonight than...usual." Spider-Man said, before they fell asleep.

Later, the Tarantula flew though the city, before dumping both Spiders on a rooftop, and then it flew off.

"Oh, my head." Spider-Man said. "You okay?"

"Yeah... What happened?" Ghost Spider asked, as they got up.

"We were hit by sleeping gas." Spider-Man recalled. "Must've made us fall asleep."

"Okay. We've gotta stop those Spider Slayers before they cause damage to the city." Ghost Spider realized.

She and Spider both looked at the bomb, seeing they had 45 minutes and 19 seconds to do so.

"And we've only got just over 45 minutes to do so." Ghost Spider said.

Spider-Man took out his Spider Tracer, and saw two blips on it, telling him where the Black Widow and the Tarantula were.

"Uh! Hey, be careful!" Ghost Spider complained.

"Ghost, until we figure out how to get this bomb off, we'll have to put up with it." Spider-Man reasoned. "It's strapped to us, remember."

"Okay." Ghost Spider sighed. "Guess this means we'll have to swing with one of us being carried by the other."

Spider-Man nodded, then grabbed her slightly, and put her under his arm, before he began swinging off.

A little later, at the edge of Central Park, a bunch of people were sitting on benches and talking to each other. Among them as Flash Thompson and his girlfriend Liz Allen, who had their arms around each other, just as they spotted Gloria Grant coming towards them.

"Hey, guys. Everything okay?" she asked.

"We're fine, Glory." Liz assured. "Nothing's wrong."

"You seem to be happier than normal?" Gloria noted.

"Yeah. She was gonna tell me before you showed up." Flash said.

"Well, what is it, Liz?" Gloria asked.

"Well, I'm really happy because my brother's been realized from Juvie." Liz explained.

"Mark?" Flash questioned.

"Well, that's great." Gloria said, sitting beside Liz. "Just in time for the school year."

"I know." Liz said. "But, due to his time there, he'll have to repeat his last year."

"I was gonna say, I thought he'd left?" Flash said.

"Well, he would've if he hadn't...you know?" Liz said.

A loud noise made the three of them look up, seeing birds flying away from a tree.

"Huh?" Gloria muttered.

They all got up as other people all around looked around the park.

"What's going on?" a man in running clothes questioned.

The noise got louder, then a woman looked up and spotted the Black Widow.

"Look!" she cried, pointing up.

Everyone looked up, then some backed away, and then the Black Widow landed near them all.

"What the?" Liz exclaimed. "What is that thing?!"

"I don't know, but it doesn't look good!" Flash panicked.

The Black Widow began moving around, making people turn and run away, before it turned to Flash, Liz and Gloria.

"Run!" Flash yelled.

He took Liz's hand and they they ran off to their left, as Gloria turned right and ran in the other direction. It then shot its cables at her, hitting her legs and tripping her up.

"AH!" she moaned, hitting the path.

Black Widow began retracting its cable, pulling her towards her.

"NO! NOOO!" Gloria cried.

Flash and Liz turned around and saw what was happening.

"Glory!" Liz cried.

"What's that thing think he's doing?!" Flash panicked.

Several other people stopped and turned as Gloria got dragged closer to the Black Widow, her clothes tearing slightly as they did.

"Oh, Mom's gonna kill me!" she groaned.

She turned to the Black Widow and gasped.

"Look!" a man yelled.

Everyone looked up, as Spider-Man and Ghost Spider swung towards the Black Widow.

"Looks like we got here just in time." Spider-Man said, as they landed on Black Widow's back.

"Why they so close like that?" Liz questioned.

"They've been linked together somehow!" Flash noted, spotting the bomb attached to them.

"AGH!" Gloria cried.

"Hang on, Gloria." Ghost Spider said.

Black Widow began powering up lasers from its pincers.

"Lasers? That's it!" Spider-Man said. "I know how to get us free."

"Let's do it then." Ghost Spider said.

Spider-Man lowered his left arm down, pulling Ghost Spider with him, then moved her arm to where Black Widow's right pincer was, breaking the strap holding her to the bomb.

"Whoa!" she yelped, falling onto the ground.

She then got up slightly and freed Gloria from the cable, as Spider-Man looked around, and spotted a crane nearby on the street outside.

"Prefect." he smirked.

He shot a web towards it, then pulled the handle towards him, then put it on Black Widow's back left leg.

"You okay?" Ghost Spider asked, helping Gloria up.

"Yeah." Gloria said. "Thanks."

"You better get outta here." Ghost Spider advised. "That thing is dangerous."

"You don't have to tell me twice." Gloria said, before she turned and ran off.

Ghost Spider turned and ran towards Black Widow, as Spider-Man jumped towards the crane.

"Ghost, keep it busy!" he yelled.

"Right!" Ghost Spider understood, holding her thumb up.

Black Widow turned to her, then she back flipped away as it tried to whack her with its front right leg.

Spider-Man then got into the crane, then moved it around, pulling Black Widow away from.

"I hope no one wants to see my exterminator card." Spider-Man hoped.

He turned around the crane around quickly, sending Black Widow towards a nearby building, hitting it, before it crashed onto the ground, knocking it out cold.

"Now that has got to have stopped it." Spider-Man said, getting out of the crane.

He turned to Ghost Spider as she ran towards him, while all the citizens stared at them.

"All right!" Flash whooped.

"Whoo!" a few men whooped.

Both Spiders then turned to them, as Flash, Liz and Gloria ran towards them.

"Look, we've gotta go." Ghost Spider said. "There's still another of those creeps to deal with."

"You mean there's more than one?" Gloria gasped.

"Yep." Ghost Spider said.

"Look, can you let the Police know about them, 'cause we're in a hurry?" Spider-Man explained.

"Sure." Flash smiled. "You got it, Spidey."

"Thanks." Spider-Man said.

He and Ghost Spider jumped up and swung away, as Flash took out his phone, and dialled 9-1-1.

"Uh, why didn't we get the bomb off you as well?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Didn't have time." Spider-Man replied. "Not with that other Spider Slayer out there."

"Oh... Well, we better be quick then." Ghost Spider reasoned.

They turned left into the city as she took out her Spider Tracker, seeing two blips. One was close by - but she knew that was the Black Widow - while the other was in the top left corner.

"Follow me!" she said, turning left.

"Right behind you." Spider-Man said.

A little later, in Times Square, Harry Osborn and Mary Jane Watson both came out of a movie theatre, along with other people, then began walking down the street.

"That was a great movie." Mary Jane said, wrapping her arm around Harry.

"I know." Harry agreed.

"Pity Peter and Gwen couldn't join us." Mary Jane sighed.

"Hey, at least we've had three double-dates this summer." Harry reasoned. "And since school starts again next week, it might be a while before we can again."

"True. True." Mary Jane sighed. "It's kinda a shame that Peter's job prevented us from having more. I really would've liked that."

"I know, me too." Harry said.

They both stopped near a crossing and looked up at the neon signs all around, which lit up the square, as well as the street lights. They both then began to cross the street with other people, when they heard a noise.

"Do you hear that?" Harry asked.

"Yeah, I do." Mary Jane said.

They both looked around, before a woman yelped.

"Look!" she cried, pointing up.

Everyone looked up, before spotting the Tarantula, which then landed in the middle of the square.

"What's that?!" a man yelped, backing away.

"Come on!" Harry said, grabbing Mary Jane's hand.

He turned and led them both away, as more people began to run off.

"AHH!" several screamed.

The Tarantula then moved forward and knocked over a lamppost, then squashed two cars with its legs, before it turned and began chasing Harry and Mary Jane.

Nearby, Spider-Man and Ghost Spider landed on a rooftop in the square, then stared down at Tarantula.

"There it is!" Ghost Spider said, pointing at it. "And it's chasing Harry and M.J.!"

"Oh, boy." Spider-Man said, before looking at the bomb, seeing there was still 27 minutes before it blew. "We've got less than half-an-hour before this thing blows."

"Well, let's go then!" Ghost Spider said.

They both jumped off the rooftop, then swung down towards the square.

Mary Jane turned around as Tarantula began to gain on them.

"It's coming after us!" she cried.

Harry turned around slightly, just as a web wrapped around Tarantula's legs on either side.

"Huh?" he muttered.

He and Mary Jane stopped and turned around, just as Spider-Man and Ghost Spider landed in front of them.

"Get outta here!" Ghost Spider yelled, turning to them. "We've got this!"

"Right." Mary Jane said, before grabbing Harry's hand. "Come on, dear."

Harry turned around before they both ran off.

Ghost Spider turned back to Tarantula, which then tried to stab both her and Spider-Man with its front right leg, but missed as they dodged. It then tried to whack them again, hitting Spider-Man's chest, but he wrapped his hands around its foot.

"This thing might be stronger than us, but it's not smarter." Spider-Man said.

Ghost Spider turned and saw box full of high-voltage on a building nearby.

"Gotcha." she said, holding her thumb up, seeing his plan.

She moved over to the box as Spider-Man let go of Tarantula's leg, then he jumped over it and ran off.

"Hey, over here, you big bully!" Ghost Spider yelled, turning to it.

Tarantula turned to her, then moved towards her.

"That's it, come here?" Ghost Spider muttered.

Tarantula then tried to stab her with its front right foot, but she grabbed it, then turned around and rammed it into the power box, before she jumped away. Electricity began to flow through Tarantula's body, before it shorted out.

"Shocking." she commented.

"You can say that again?" Spider-Man said. "Come on!"

They both turned and jumped up, then began swinging away.

Further down the street, Harry and Mary Jane had stopped running and were leaning against a wall, staring at Tarantula.

"I'm glad they stopped that thing." Mary Jane sighed, panting.

"Same here." Harry panted. "I just wonder who built it, and why it attacked us."

"That's something we may never know." Mary Jane sighed.

Meanwhile, in the Kingpin's skyscraper, a bunch of machines had been building a third Spider Slayer. Only this one, was bigger than both the Black Widow and the Tarantula combined, was lime green, and resembled a scorpion. The machines then pulled apart as Alister approached it on his hover chair.

"My master work is done." he smirked evilly, pressing buttons on his keyboard.

The Scorpion powered up and moved off, as the hanger door lowered itself, then it walked out onto the edge of it. Its engines them powered up, then it lifted off and flew away, right past the George Washington Bridge.

It soon landed in a harbour, making the workers turn and run, as it landed on the walkway. It then approached a warehouse and smashed right through it, destroying it.

On a rooftop nearby, both Spiders stared down at it.

"Whoa. That is one big Spider Slayer." Ghost Spider admitted.

"More like Scorpion Slayer." Spider-Man corrected.

"True. But you have to admit, it's bigger than the previous two." Ghost Spider said.

"I know. And according to this, we just under 15 minutes to stop it before it blows." Spider-Man said, looking at the bomb.

"Let's go then." Ghost Spider said.

They both jumped off the roof, and began swinging after the Scorpion, which began firing lasers from its mouth, destroying warehouses all over, before they both landed on top of it.

"That's enough of that, big guy!" Spider-Man snarled.

Ghost Spider turned and saw some people trapped under some rubble.

"I'll be right back!" she said, jumping off Scorpion's back.

Spider-Man then jumped off as his Spider-Sense tingled, allowing him to dodge as Scorpion tried to hit him with his tail.

In the Kingpin's skyscraper, Alister was watching Spider-Man and Ghost Spider on a monitor screen.

"What? How'd they get free?!" he exclaimed.

He then looked at his panel on his hover chair, then began pressing buttons on it.

"I guess there's only one way to stop them before they bomb explodes." he snarled.

(Central Park)

Flash, Liz, Gloria and other people all stared at the Black Widow, along with a few Cops - including Lt. Jean DeWolff.

"I'm glad that thing's harmless now." Liz shuddered. "It gives me the creeps."

"Same here." Gloria agreed.

Two Policemen approached Black Widow carefully, before its eyes lit up.

"What?" Lt. DeWolff gasped.

The Police all backed away, as Black Widow fired its bottom rockets and flew off, and then it flew away from the park.

"I thought you kids said Spider-Man and Ghost Spider defeated that thing?" Lt. DeWolff inquired, turning to Flash, Liz and Gloria.

"They did." Flash assured. "Someone must've reactivated it."

(Times Square)

Harry, Mary Jane and other people all stared at Tarantula, as six Cops - including Lt. Yuri Watanabe - all approached it.

"Be careful, men. It might still be dangerous." the Lt. advised.

Tarantula's eyes then lit up, as its pincers moved, then everyone backed away as it rocketed off into the air, before it shot away from the square.

"Well, that answers that question." the Lt. sighed, annoyed.

"I wonder where it's going?" Mary Jane questioned.

"Probably back to where it came from." Harry hoped.

"Ryan, Cartwright, secure the area!" Lt. Watanabe ordered.

"Yes, ma'am!" the two Officers said, saluting.

Back at the harbour, Spider-Man turned to the Scorpion, as Ghost Spider helped a man up.

"You all need to get outta here!" she said, turning to the others.

"But Bob's still inside!" a man argued.

"Alright, I'll get him, but you've got to leave afterwards." Ghost Spider explained.

"You got it." the man understood.

Ghost Spider turned and dived into the ruined warehouse, as Spider-Man shot a web at Scorpion's face, blinding it.

"That should hold him for a while." he hoped.

Scorpion began stumbling around, just as Ghost Spider came shooting out of the ruined warehouse, carrying Bob over his shoulder.

"Bob!" the man gasped.

Ghost Spider ran towards him with Bob over her shoulder, before she put Bob in his arms.

"He's got a broken leg, so you'll have to carry him." she explained.

"Understood." the man nodded. "Hang in there, buddy."

He turned around and ran off with Bob, as Ghost Spider turned to the Scorpion, which then ribbed the web off its eyes with its left claw arm.

"Okay, not what I had in mind." Spider-Man gulped, backing away.

Scorpion then stopped and stared at both Spiders, when Ghost Spider looked up and spotted Tarantula and Black Widow.

"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me?!" she exclaimed.

She and Spider-Man backed away some more, before Tarantula landed on Scorpion's back, then the Black Widow landed on its back, then Scorpion's tail went over Black Widow's back.

"Like fighting one by itself wasn't bad enough!" Spider-Man complained.

"We'd better fall back and rethink this." Ghost Spider said.

"Agreed." Spider-Man said.

They both turned around, then jumped up and swung away, just as the Spider Slayers fried their lasers, all missing them both.

"Phew, that was close." Ghost Spider sighed.

They both swung towards one of the warehouses - this one slightly damaged from earlier - then dived inside it from a broken window. They both then glided down towards the floor, then landed on it.

"Okay, we've got two problems: Those Spider Slayers, and that bomb." Ghost Spider said.

"I know, but how-" Spider-Man began.

He looked around slightly, and spotted a tank full of liquid oxygen on his left.

"I think I know how to kill both those birds with one stone." he smirked.

"What you got in mind?" Ghost Spider asked.

"Just follow me." Spider-Man said.

They both ran towards the liquid oxygen tank, then Ghost Spider saw what he had in mind.

"I get it. We get the bomb off you, then plant it on Smythe's toys, and it blows them up instead of us." she said.

"Bingo." Spider-Man said.

He put his arm under the tank's tap, then turned it, sending cold liquid oxygen onto the strap around the bomb, freezing it.

"Allow me?" Ghost Spider teased.

She pulled on the bomb, snapping the strap off Spider-Man, then she looked at the time.

"We've got just over five minutes left before this thing goes up." she explained.

"Good thing we're near the river then." Spider-Man said. "All we have to do, is lure it to the bridge.

"Right." Ghost Spider nodded.

They both jumped out of the warehouse, then landed on the rooftop of another.

"It's over there!" Ghost Spider said, pointing at the Spider Slayers.

"Hey, over here?!" Spider-Man yelled.

The Spider Slayers turned to the Spiders.

"Bet you can't catch us?!" Ghost Spider dared.

She and Spider-Man tuned and began to swing off towards the George Washington Bridge.

Scorpion's rockets boosted the Spider Slayers up, then they began to fly after them.

Both Spiders kept swinging towards the bridge, then once they were close to it, they saw no traffic on it.

Scorpion fired its lasers at them both, before they stuck to one of the towers, then began to climb up it. Once at the top, they both ran along the top of it, then stopped and turned as the Spider Slayers rose up on their right.

"Hey, big guy, let's play tag." Spider-Man joked. "You're it!"

He and Ghost Spider turned and jumped off the bridge as the Spider Slayers fired at them, but all missed. They all looked around, seeing no sign of either web-head, then they moved back off the bridge. Unbeknownst to them, both Spiders were hanging onto the supports beneath the top of the bridge, and above its opening, then they appeared beneath the Spiders, looking around.

"Prefect. Just the right spot." Spider-Man said, staring at them. "I'll handle this."

"Right." Ghost Spider said, handing him the bomb.

Spider-Man jumped down and landed on Black Widow's head, making the Spider Slayers move to shake him off.

"As Ben Grimm would say; It's cobbling time!" he yelled.

He then planted the bomb on the Black Widow's shoulder, then he jumped off it.

Ghost Spider grabbed him as the jump was too far, then she pulled him up onto the bridge's support. They both then turned to the Spider Slayers, before the bomb exploded. The bomb completely destroyed the Black Widow, as well as Scorpion's tail and most of Tarantula, then they fell down into the Hudson River.

"Phew, we did it." Ghost Spider sighed.

"Yeah. I just hope Smythe doesn't try and build more of these things." Spider-Man said.

They both turned and began swinging away from the bridge.

Meanwhile, Alister was looking though his binoculars from the hanger door of the Kingpin's skyscraper, seeing smoke coming from the Hudson River, where his machines had fallen.

"My machines?!" he frowned.

He put his binoculars down, then turned his hover chair around.

"My beautiful machines?!" he cursed.

The hanger door began to close behind him, as Wilson Fisk, A.K.A: the Kingpin, approached him.

"A deal's a deal, Smythe!" Kingpin snarled. "You promised me, you'd destroy those web-heads, and you failed! You now work for me until you do!"

He turned around and walked off, as Alister turned around, then he put his hands together.

"What am I going to do to kill those wall-crawling menaces?!" he snarled. "Rest assured, Father, I will avenge you no matter how long it takes."

A little later, both Spider-Man and Ghost Spider sat on a rooftop, looking down at the city exhausted.

"What a night?" Spider-Man said, as they leaned against each other.

"I know." Ghost Spider sighed. "I feel like my suit's torn."

She ripped open part of her left arm, as the thread was ruined from all the fighting.

"I know what you mean." Spider-Man said, ribbing open part of his left shoulder area. "Same with mine. Not to mention we're batted and bruised."

"And we're both pretty exhausted from all that fighting." Ghost Spider sighed, yawning. "I just wanna go home and go to bed now."

"So do I." Spider-Man sighed.

He checked his watch, and saw it was 9:45pm.

"We've got 15 minutes to get back before curfew's over." he said.

"I guess we better go then." Ghost Spider said, getting to her feet.

"Yeah." Spider-Man agreed.

He got to his feet, then they both raised their masks to their noses, before kissing each other briefly.

"I'll see you tomorrow, hopefully." Spider-Man said, as they parted.

"Part of me actually wants to lie in tomorrow." Ghost Spider admitted. "I wouldn't be surprised if I collapse as soon as I get to my bedroom."

"As long as it's on your bed instead of the floor." Spider-Man joked.

"Oh, you." Ghost Spider teased.

They kissed each other again, then parted and turned to the city.

A/N: I'd just thought I'd let you know, that it won't be until season 3 when I start adding in more Web-Warriors, although I do have a few team-ups planned for this season with other Marvel Heroes. That doesn't mean however, that their civilian identities won't appear in this season, 'cause they might.
