A/N - Disclaimer: I do not own either Wicked or Terminator. Those belong to much smarter people than myself.

This is one of those stories that I started a long time ago. Life got in the way and it sat for a long time. I came across it recently and was trying to decide if I should just generate it or finish it. As you can guess, I chose the latter. While this story is still WIP, the first half is complete and I've decided to start posting the first few chapters. Each chapter is going to vary in length - some short, some long.

I won't be posting updates on a regular schedule but I promise to update.

I am going to be completely honest here: this story is dark. It's a story about a Terminator in the Wicked Musicverse. To give some context: don't think about the more recent Terminator movies - I'm going back to the feeling of the original movie made in 1984. While a fantastic movie, it is a dark film. That's the feel for this story.

THIS IS YOUR ONE AND ONLY WARNING: While I've tried to be sensitive in my descriptions to not be too graphic, there WILL be descriptions of violence and death in this story. It also means there will be character deaths - ALL CHARACTERS ARE FAIR GAME! Please be prepared for the possibly of MAJOR character death!

(When I shared part of a chapter with The Ultimate Queen of Cliffies a long time ago, her reply was …(and I quote)…

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!")

I have not classed this as a crossover as I have written a completely different backstory to fit inside the Wicked canon. I've even created a trailer for the story:

There's also an opening title for this story:

The evening sun set on what seemed to be another ordinary day in the Gillikins bringing about the end of another Saturday. In the liveliest part of the city of UpTown, various people walked along the streets taking in the sights and sounds. People stood and watched as street entertainers and other assorted buskers kept crowds entertained; other people walked to various restaurants or pubs to partake in their various gastronomic feasts. Yet others made their way to the local theaters to take in an evening show.

A young couple walked along the bustling street; each of them holding hands as the breathed the evening air and took in the activity around them. Walking hand in hand along the sidewalk, ignoring the carriages that passed them by on the street beside them or the clomping of horse hooves.

"It's a beautiful night tonight," the young lady noted.

"Yeah," her husband sighed contently as he pulled her closer. "You couldn't ask for a better spring day. Say, what do you think of going to that new restaurant…"

His words fell silent as his young wife looked ahead of them.

"Hey, what's that?"

Looking ahead, the young man saw what his wife was pointing to: a series of clouds rolled across the sky, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. It was a strange sight, especially since the sky was clear only a few seconds ago and there wasn't any forecast of rain.

The couple noticed the wind started picking up, moving from a gentle breeze to a more sustained wind.

"That's a strange storm, don't you think?" the young man asked his wife. Some of the people around them started to notice as well and a slight murmur rose amongst the growing crowd.

The young woman nodded in agreement. "Yes it is. I've never seen that before."

Off in the distance, lighting flashed in various directions.

The poor young woman grew worried. "I think we should get inside."

"I think so too," her husband replied. And with that, the couple made their way to a nearby restaurant.

However, in the outskirts of UpTown, the wind grew in intensity as more lightning bolts filled the air, picking up in frequency and intensity. In amongst the tumult, a strange sphere like object appeared on the ground, growing in size as the wind and lightning grew to their fullest ferocity.

Then, at the height of the tumult, the wind and lightning stopped and the sphere disappeared.

In its place, crouched down on the ground, was a man - a rather large man with short brown hair and brown eyes. His body was covered with muscles exhibiting his strength.

He was completely naked.

Standing up, the man looked around as he tried to get his bearings. He face bore no emotion. Not even the state of his undress seemed to bother him.

He noticed the lights of a city in the distance. Turning towards the lights, he walked the empty country road, heading towards the capital city of UpTown. A cool breeze blew across his naked body, but he did not shiver; he cared not about the cool temperatures.

Nothing would interfere with his mission.

As he approached the outskirts of the city, he saw three young men walking towards him; each of them were dressed in a green jacket and pants with gold material woven therein - possibly a military uniform. From the way they were walking, each of them appeared inebriated.

One of them pointed towards him. "Whoa, dudes. Check this guy out!"

As he stopped in front of the three young soldiers, the strange man looked them over and noticed something about one of them…

The three men stopped in shock at the naked man walking towards them. One of them jokingly commented, "Nice night for a walk, isn't it?"

In a flat voice, the naked man replied, "Yes…nice night for a walk."

Laughing, another one joked, "Let me guess…it's laundry day and nothing's clean."

"Nothing clean," the man simply repeated flatly.

Bursting out laughing again, the three young men dismissed this strange man. "I think this guy's a few pints short of a keg," one of them commented.

However, they stopped laughing when the man turned to the gentleman who matched his build and commanded:

"Your clothes…give them to me. Now."

The three men were taken aback by the naked man's sudden command and looked at each other in shock, completely silenced by the audacity of this strange man's request. It took a few moments for his request to sink in…

…then, they burst out laughing at the absurdity of it all.

The young man replied back in a sarcastic tone, "No, because you forgot to say please."

Without warning, the naked man lashed out, grabbing the man by the throat. Each of his friends jumped back in shock as the naked man flicked his wrist. A horrible cracking sound filled the air and he let go of the now lifeless man, watching the body collapse to the ground.

"You bastard!" one of them cried, charging the stranger and punching him in the face. However, he cried out in pain as the bones in his hand shattered. In an instant, the strange man grabbed his attacker throwing him against the wall of a large tree. He cried out again in pain only to have the strange man descend on him. In an instant, the stranger punched the young man in ribs, cracking several bones. While the young soldier fought for air, the stranger grabbed his neck and snapped it like a twig.

It was then that this strange, naked man then heard a click of a gun.

"Don't move!"

Turning, the stranger looked that the weapon intensely…

Analysis…Merwin Oz six-shot pistol. Probability of damage…minimal. Proceed…

He marched towards the solder. The young man stood with his weapon drawn pointing at the advancing stranger. "Stop, or I'll shoot!" he commanded though his voice and hands were shaky. When he saw the man wasn't stopping, he fired his shot…

…but it didn't stop the approaching stranger. He fired again the second shot didn't have any effect. Before the young man knew it, the stranger was already upon him.

In an instant, the young solder was dead.

In the silence that followed, the naked man took great care in cleaning himself as best as possible, tearing pieces of cloth from the other uniforms to cover his wounds. He then set about removing the clothes from the first man, putting them on as soon as he got them off of the deceased soldier. Once he was dressed, he made his way into town using another road to avoid any of the authorities for now. He cared not for the devastation he left behind.

He was only focused on completing his mission.

First, he had to clean up.

Then, he needed to search for the tools he needed.

"C'mon, Glin. It's time to get up."

Elphaba Thropp shook her pink roommate from her slumber as Sunday morning graced Shiz University. Galinda rolled over, putting her head under her pillow. "I don't wanna…it's too early," she complained.

Placing her hands on her hips, Elphaba noted, "If I remember correctly, you told me to get you up early so you could pass your sorcery exam tomorrow. Remember?"

"No, I don't remember," the blonde moaned as she slowly emerged from underneath her pillow. "There's no way I would even entertain the idea of being awake before…". She quickly glanced at her alarm clock. "Six thirty?" she shrieked. Then, she dramatically threw herself back onto her bed. "It's too early! Why, in Oz, would I ever want to be up that early?"

Suddenly, her green roommate replied in a voice imitating the blonde: "Oh, Elphie! I'm so worried about the exam on Monday! Horrible Morrible is sure to fail me! I really, really need your help! Can you help me study and practice this weekend? I swear I'll do whatever it takes…even if it means getting up early…"

"Fine," the blonde huffed sitting up and pushing away the mass of blonde curls covering her eyes. "Ok, Elphie. I'm up. I'm not awake but I'm up."

The green woman was already getting her books together when she replied, "That's why I recommend stopping for breakfast and coffee before we begin."

"Yeah, lots of coffee," Galinda complained as she shuffled into the bathroom and closed the door behind her.

The early morning sun was in the sky as the strange visitor walked towards his destination. His efforts to search the city were successful and he was able to find exactly what he was looking for - not only the location of his first destination, but also the means of completing his mission. Now, holding the fruits of his search under his coat, he made his way to the front door of a rather large house. He knocked loudly and waited until somebody opened the door.

The woman of the house ran down he stairs quickly tying her pink robe over her nightgown. She was silently cursing the person who was pounding on their door at such an early hour. As she approached the door, a maid quickly ran up beside her.

"I'm sorry, madam. I'm running behind in the kitchen and I missed the knock on the door. "

"It's ok," the woman replied with a smile. "I'm here. I'll get it." And with that, the maid nodded and returned to her duties.

Turning back towards the door, the woman opened it and saw a strange man standing there.

"Can I help you?" she asked, irritated by the early wake-up.

Little did this woman know was that was the last thing she would ever say.

He walked over the lifeless bodies of the owners of the house, killing any of the servants who resided there. It took longer than he wanted it to, but in the end, they were all dead. Now infiltration was complete, he set about the task to look for any information about his primary targets. He had to move fast - even though his weapon was suppressed, somebody was sure to have heard the gunshots and would alert the authorities. He wandered upstairs, inspecting the bedrooms, tearing apart the furniture in the master bedroom. He opened up the drawers of each of the night tables and dressers therein, not finding any new information. However, after entering another bedroom, he noticed a pamphlet on the dresser.

Realizing the relevance of the pamphlet, the strange man took it with him.

With that, the man left the home, closing the door behind him. Watching the street before him, it appeared as if nobody had heard the maid's scream or any of the other commotion inside the house.

Good.

That left him time to find transportation to reach his next destination: there was one more place he had to go to before searching out his target.

Walking towards the stables located on the property, he found a number of horses boarded inside along with a carriage.

Perfect.

With any luck, and with the horses and carriage, he could make it to his next destination by the morning.

A/N: Fun fact - a suppressed gun will not go "pfft" like they do in the movies. A bullet fired from a gun can be generate noise around 150-165db. The noise of a gunshot is made up of a few things: the ignition of the propellant (gunpowder), the expulsion of the gasses of this ignition, and the sonic boom a bullet makes because it travels faster than the speed of sound. A suppressor can only make the gas dispersal more gradual, thus removing the sound of the gas expulsion. However, that only removes 30db of the overall sound of the "gunshot" so the two remaining factors still make 120-135db of sound. Even if you use sub-sonic ammo instead of super-sonic, the noise would still be quite loud. Hence, the concern of our antagonist that the noise of gunfire could still be heard.
