Brand new crossover story idea for me to try, hoping it works out well, anyway, enjoy. Note that this is merely a preview and I cannot say when the story will continue.

Episode 1: Chapter 1
The persistent buzz of the alarm clock was enough to rouse the sixteen year old girl from slumber. With a yawn she pulled herself up from her bed and quickly went about her morning routine, pulling on her usual clothing, after making sure she was ready and that her jeans and T-shirt were sufficient she pulled on her sneakers and glanced up at the mirror, her reflection stared back. A short girl, being only five foot one but she had a toned athletic build that still retained some noteworthy curves, her curly hair was dark brown almost black and she had caramel skin and golden-brown eyes. She had just made up her mind and finished fashioning her hair into small twin ponytails where there came a knock at her bedroom door and a female voice called out.
"Clementine, are you ready yet, you don't want to be late, dear."
Clementine smiled. "Yeah mom, I'm ready, I'm coming."
With that she grabbed her bag and left the room, hurrying downstairs to join the rest of her family for breakfast. She joined them at the table smiling, it was an interesting family she had, none of them were actually related by blood, and yet they were so close it clearly didn't matter. First was Lee Everett, head of the family, Clementine's adoptive father. He was a tall middle-aged man with a strong build, light brown skin, short black hair and a beard with some flecks of grey and black eyes. He was dressed smartly for his job as a university lecturer.
Just sitting at the table, across from him, was his wife, Carley, a pretty woman, a few years younger than Lee with shoulder length brown hair; brown eyes and fair skin, she was slender and also dressed smartly, in her case for her job as a reporter. The final member of the household was five year old Alvin Jr or 'AJ' as he was affectionately known. He had been adopted by Lee and Carley, at Clementine's pleading, after the untimely death of his parents, Alvin Lockett Sr. and Rebecca Lockett.
He grinned up at Clem, a typical excitable five year old with light brown skin, brown afro hair with matching brown eyes, skinny but still having some baby fat, like Clem he wore a more casual style of clothing.
Enjoying breakfast with her family Clementine stood up along with them once done and the dishes were put to the sink.
"Alright, let's get going AJ." Carley said. "I'll drop you off."
AJ nodded. "Okay, see you later Clem."
Clem smiled and the two hugged. "You take care goofball."
Carley would be passing AJ's school on her way to work so it made sense for her to drop him off. Leaving the house themselves, Clem turned to Lee.
"Well, I'll see you later too, dad."
Lee nodded. "Yeah. Clem, um. I've been meaning to ask, is everything okay, you've been acting strange lately."
Clementine instantly tensed, biting her lip. "Um, yeah...everything's fine."
The moment the words left her lips she hated them, they were a lie. If there was one thing she hated more than anything it was lying to her family, but she had to. She had a secret that she couldn't dare let them know about, for their own safety after all. In fact, as far as she was aware, only three other people knew of her secret and she aimed to keep it that way.
"See...that statement, everything's fine...it's very popular for deflecting uncomfortable topics that you don't wanna discuss." Lee said gently. "I'm just trying to look out for you Clem. When I was younger...your age and even past it, into my twenties. I made a lot of mistakes, did a lot of things that I'm not proud of...I just want you to understand, if you need anything, you can always talk to me. I'll listen, I'll help."
"I...thanks Lee." Clementine replied gratefully. "But it's true, I'm fine."
Lee just nodded slowly and watched as Clementine hurried to get on the school bus which arrived, before heading to his car and going to work, ready for the morning New York traffic.
Once on the bus Clem made her way down the aisle towards a seat near the back. Sitting down she grinned at the occupant of the next seat.
"Hey, morning."
"Morning Clem." The boy greeted her cheerfully.
Said boy was Clementine's best friend, Gabriel Garcia, a year older than her and certainly much taller with short messy brown hair, brown eyes and tanned skin from his Cuban heritage, a toned athletic build and a laid back, casual style which he accented with an orange beanie.
"You better at least wash that regularly." Clem quipped. "I mean you wear it practically every day."
Gabe just laughed. "Could say the same about you and your hat."
Clem just scoffed, tugging the brim of her blue and white cap. They sat in silence for a while before Gabe looked around furtively and leaned closer.
"So…" He began, speaking quieter. "Have you heard anything from Peter?"
Clem shook her head. "No, but according to the news everything's been going fine. Still, I'm expecting him and MJ to call tonight."
Gabe nodded before settling back and resuming a somewhat normal talk which Clem reciprocated. The reason for him lowering his voice was simple, it was connected to Clementine's secret and Gabe was one of the three who knew, the other two being the ones they mentioned, Peter Parker and Mary-Jane Watson.
It had happened quite by accident but she had got to know the pair of them when, in an effort to be proactive and help the local community, Clem started volunteering at a local F.E.A.S.T. shelter and met them there. Then came the part where she was bitten by some weird spider and the resulting powers that had come from it. Feeling she could trust him, she had confessed the truth to Peter, only to learn that he knew exactly what she was talking about, since he was in fact none other than the costumed hero that Clem had always admired, Spider-Man.
Since then Clem had trained with Pete to learn how to control and master her powers and to follow in his footsteps, this led to MJ finding out the truth and then, once she could be sure he could be trusted to keep it to himself, Clem had told Gabe. Now Gabe helped her whenever she was doing her work as Spider-Girl, acting a mission control so to speak. Things had become a lot more intense for Clem now, since Pete and MJ were currently away, meaning she had to protect New York by herself. But she felt things were going well so far.
Now as she stepped off the bus she had to face the real challenge of her day, going through school and keeping her secret in the process.
