Carnival opened to a selected few that formed a small crowd that stood in front of closed entrance after having their tickets punched. Ended up being greeted by Mr. X when he stood before them and welcomed them all this fine evening. Telling them to take a chance to look around the place from the countless rides spread out for one or a pair to enjoy. All kinds of unique games that one could play to earn a prize for themselves or another person they are with. Side features one could attend such as the large aquarium where half human/ fish hybrids were swimming around. Take a look within a tent where odd collection of objects or life forms a waited to be gazed upon by someone(s). All surrounded a some what large tent when strangest of performances were taking place for anyone to view.
What the countless people were allowed to do once a set of twins dressed as white faced clowns opened the entrance. Just a certain group of teens weren't among them since alternatives plans kept them from being among the firsts. One them in the form of a grumpy Ciprian could be found at one of the ticket booths in the middle of a exchange. He was trying to get tickets for a later date when everyone could attend on some other day when they were all free. Which was being granted while asked why his friends and siblings could make it to the opening day. He would have brought up the recently found dead bodies that everyone was being informed about if Miss. Frigoris hadn't interrupted. She whispered something the person in the ticket booth's ear while informing Ciprian to have a good day.
"We hope to see you and every else attending our Carnival." She nods to him.
"Your telling me." He pocketed the new tickets.
Watching him walk a way before the girl could speak to Miss. Frigoris about what a certain mermaid had been going. Bringing up she had gotten out again the night before and didn't come back until a few minutes before Carnival opened. Strange expression of satisfaction plastered on her face worry anyone due species of mermaid she was. Person doing the worrying was Miss. Frigoris in middle of doing some last minute checking on this one mermaid.
"Your going to have to check in with their brother?" The girl looked away from Miss. Frigoris. "I've had a moment to my self since I started my shift."
"I just hope Mehr is in a mood to talk." Miss. Frigoris quietly prayed.
"You and me both?" This girl happily sighed.
OF all the males that works within the traveling Carnival, a six foot male with clear purple eyes with short blonde hair at the top that extends into a long ponytail at the bottom. Sun kissed skin that was covered in rich shades of blue. Came in the form of a functional robes worn over pants with button fly/ hook-n-catch and half length boots. What he under his clothes and strange wrist bracers had most of the women within the Carnival swoon. Just the cold shoulder he was known for giving his fellow Carnival workers during travel times and in between performances.
"You want me to approach him?" The girl asked Miss. Frigoris.
"No, I must do so." Miss. Frigoris turned to leave.
Away from the ticket booth she would walk with her head in the clouds and forgetting about a visit from Veterinary Affairs Council. Came in the form of a casually dressed Saualpite with his son clinging to one of his pants' leg. They could be found on the other side of the ticket booth waiting for who ever was to meet with them. This someone was Miss. Frigoris since Mr. X was handling the press representatives and photographers in his trailer. Leaving her to walk to Saualpite and announce she would be showing him around the carnival.
"Actually I would like to see where your mermaids are and their living arrangements," Saualpite brought up he was here. "I have places to be and very little time."
Not wanting to to start a fuss over their opening day with so many watchful eyes around them, Miss. Frigoris ended up guiding him. She made sure to point out how they followed all the safety guidelines put down by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. How they complied with the safety inspector supervision during his walk through the ride area. Ready to show the report that was given to them that gave them a safe and fare rating. Which Saualpite already showed the copy he got alone with the list of their permits and certificates. All being held together in a plastic sleeve he brought with him as Aegirine pulled at his pants leg wanting to see the mermaids.

Way Aegirine puffed up his cheeks had Miss. Frigoris stating he looked like a puffer fish before asking if he wanted a candied apple. Which got her a head nod and had her going to the near by food stand and taking the ones that were already made. Frigoris got back up to her full height and ended up returning to her task. Not like Saualpite cared either way since he was just happy his son was having a good time while in his care. Since the sight seeing care to an end when they now stood in front of a large tent with rising waves prints throughout the cloth. Saualpite with his son would end up entering at their own risk with no one to standing outside to greet and show them in. Large transparent fins from dorsal and anal on upper/ lower area of her scale covered waist line to caudal fin at the end. All twirled around in water and had Aegirine running toward the glass to look at the woman swimming around.
"Daddy! Daddy!" Aegirine happily yelled. "Mermaid. Meramid."
"Don't tap on the glass and quiet down," Saualpite instructed his son. "I don't want you scaring her."
"She wouldn't notice him since she's deaf and half blind from inbreeding within our clan," A voice made came from back end of the tent. "Time like this is when she swims around unless next show."
introductions ended following with man fastening clasps of his robes collar when he came into Saualpite's viewing range. Making sure to state he was Mehr and only male incharge of his MANY sisters until this carnival moved to it's next location. Out back tending to personal manners that didn't need further explanation when red stains appeared on his robe. Got worst when this Mehr's complexion got paler before he swayed in place as he took a step forward. To only stop when he needed to catch his breath before sinking down to his knees as blood stain got worse and bigger.
"Mister?" Aegirine asked out of worry. "Is everything ok?"
"Aegirine! Go find Miss. Frigoris and I'll tend to Mr. Mehr," Saualpite took hold of the situation.
Off his son went as the mermaid floating around ended up knocking on the glass of the tank from her side to see what was happening. What she was little boy drop his candied apple as he ran out of the tent scared out his mind just yelling. As the human adult male drop to the floor beside her brother and out into a position where he undid her brother's sash belt and robe, to reveal a toned torso of developed muscle of tighten pectorals and carved abs. Covered in elongated, repeated wound. They came in the form of long slashes and started out shallow on both ends with deep center. Blood that was started to pour out had Saualpite worried that Mehr's aorta may have been nicked.

Not caring once about getting covered in blood when sounds of foot steps outside tent's entrance got louder.

Mr. X kept the damage to the keeper of the mermaids from the press that was wandering the Carnival grounds then with him. Blame for what happen to Mehr could solely be placed on the one sister that was now missing from group. A rebellious, female Waviren that was youngest of her sisters and not wanting to follow her brother's rules. Who attacked her own brother out of angry for being confronted about the recent deaths that appeared in the news. Bleedy mess she left him in as a form of distraction had allowed her to run a way without being caught. Happen when she was able to steal bus fare she needed from a few pockets when help needed for Mehr's wounds came. She got far, far, far a way when her brother ended up being taken to the nearest ICU of a hospital for treatment. Blood plasma was used over a transfusion since they couldn't figure out what his blood type actually was. Being that Aquatic beings have different blood types that vary from humans when explained by Actinolite and Ahenobarbus. Actually treatment of his wounds didn't need much since the inflicted slashes took a day to close up.
Just where he was going to stay was the questions since the Carnival since Dr. Saeko Mizuno refused to let him return there. Stating a noisy and loud place was a improper place for him to stay and mend. She asked around for a place big enough for him to live and heal that wouldn't stress him. Ami and Zoisite had limited space with their apartment with Amelie was still living with them. Makoto and Nephrite also had limited space in their apartment with Mako still living with themk, despite the huge mansion Nephrite owned under his Masato Sanjouin Aliase. Minako and Kunzite had a extra room after Hiddenite moved out to be with Ammar for a kiddie pool. Fear of having mother Minako and Mina playing nurse made was a automatic no from Mehr. Only opition they had was Hikawa Shrine and empty buldings on the grounds. Which excited great- Grandpa Hino to the point he offerered spare room in his family's own house.

Was all that took to get Saualpite to borrow Ben's car and pick up Mehr from the hospital with his son in the back seat. Mehr happily took the front seat dressed completely different in tailored jeans, button polo shirt, and members only jacket. His taste in foot wear hadn't changed since he still wore his ornate boots that were calf length and seem to fit. Who was pulling on a sweater after running his fingers through his freshly washed hair left Saualpite speechless.
"I hope my belongings made it to your dwellings?" Mehr's rich tone had Saualpite ready to say yes.
"...great-great- grandson arranged your things to be put into your own room." Aegirine did the talking for him.
Saualpite ended up pointing to the seat belt that Mehr needed to put on before he started to drive was much needed. That happened before he started up the engine and ended up the taking the long drive back home out of sheer nervous. Leaving Mehr to take a conference call with Dann and his half- brothers on the subject of his sister and who she was. "Not what I already told Ben and Sir Kunzite." Mehr recalled their visits.
While he sort time under Dr. Saeko Mizuno's care when his wounds were treated and treatments with blood plasma thorugh out a week. He was visited for information he could give on his run a way of a sister and filled in what she done. Which he couldn't stomach when shown pictures of the first couple she killed and the ones she tried to feed from. Left him with out much of a appitate during the first few days he was bed ridden and unable to move around.
"We have to get going." Angel pointed out the time.
Hanging up only made Mehr recline in his seat with look of worry dancing across his face to the point he looked out the window. Forming a fist with one of his hands at the building angry toward trouble his sister was going to bring them. Would tighten if Saualpite didn't end up taking that hand with his own when he stopped at a light to calm Mehr.

Aegirine practically cheered for his father showing affection toward someone for the first time with a big smile on his face. Was what stopped Saualpite from further interacting with Mehr on the rest of the way to the Hikawa Shrine. ToldMehr that this human was attracted to him and opened the door to a future the mermen was ready to pry open.
"You should know, once a merman finds his mate," Mehr stated. "He does know stray nor does he find comfort in another. Your lucky we didn't meet in the water since you have turned into merman if your accepted love at first sight with me."
"That's just a legend." Saualpite corrected him.
"So your people know of this?" Mehr was impressed.
"Called fairy tales." Aegirine squealed.
Mehr had to know more about these fairy tales of merman that they told him about when the car was pulling up. His answer came in the form of Aegirine getting out of his car seat to exit the car all by himself to get passenger side. Where tried to reach up for the handle of Mehr's door with limited success since his height and reach range was constricted. Leaving him to try until the door was opened from the inside and had Aegirine scooping the boy up. Saualpite tried to hurry out of the car and tell Mehr that his son was just fine walking the rest of the way. Just he got caught up in his belt and bumped his head on the car's ceiling when he hurried to quickly to get out. Leaving Mehr to take Aegirine back to the shrine's grounds while time was taken fro him to properly exit the car. Which meant being left alone to do so while owner of the car and his newly adopted child came walking from shrine.
Ben thought it was amusing when he saw Saualpite roll out of the driver's seat as Kaze asked about his friend being alright. What the kid got was a pat on the head from Ben before being allowed to run a head and help Saualpite to his feet. Which took place within a few minutes and surprised Saualpite when he took Kaze's little hand to stand up. Making sure to tightly clenched the keys in his other hand when he fulled exited the car and spotted Ben staring at him. Which had him closing the up the car after carefully slamming that door and following Kaze back over to Ben.
"Thanks for the loaner and is hot air head?" Saualpite asked about Alecjo. "Being that last time I saw him, he was adjusting to being a dad."
"Currently with your family's old storage house with your Great- Grandpa Hino," Ben took his keys from Saualpite. "Seeing if there is anything from when your were Kaze's age we could use."
Saualpite ended up remembering some old clothes and maybe a few toys his mother most of packed away some where. Couldn't place his finger on where these items were currently being kept within his family's house or the main shrine. Placed sides when he felt his mind go blank and start to fill with a far-reaching falsetto with underlining feminine hum. Started out quiet when he was complied to turn his head toward a unwanted guest with flowing hair and dressed maturely. He eyes were just stared at him and Ben the whole she stood a few feet a way from Ben's car with arms raised. Way her hands were positioned before her torso as her hands looked like she was holding an instrument within them. Her fingers were carefully moving on these invisible holes this non- existed instrument must have had. Just no tune came from the way her had moved the tips of her fingers to a soundless song.
Seemed to follow the song that was playing along with the minds of Ben and Saualpite with a scared Kaze hiding behind Ben. His father and his friend completely froze up and weren't responding to his calls to their attention when he tugged. Tears started to well up in his eyes as the current of air that swirled around the shrine become redirected by him. This change was noticed by Alecjo when he was still out of the storage house with a few boxes in his arms. Were put down on the ground when he figured someone was messing with his family when he heard same tune in his head. He ignored the unwanted song that started to empty everyone of his thoughts and told Great- grandfather Hino he would be back, and how he was needed by his family. A toward someone having the nerve to harm his child and Ben what had him sprinting a way from the entrance of storage house. To the parking space as fast as he could humanly go without looking like a super human doing so.
"Gale Force Wall." He channeled that building rage and the air his son had redirected toward that area, to form a wall between the Waviren and them. Making sure the heavy blow back was her side of the wall then theirs when current picked up. Allowed him to pick up his son within his arms as Ben and Saualpite were free.
"Why does it feel like I was just in Dream?" Ben looked at Saualpite.
"You were sewn into a trance by her," knight Stella Gale glares at the Waviren. "Go sing that tune into pillow sweet heart."
Kaze's tears were ended when Ben showed he was alright as he was taken from knight Stella Gale's arms by him in a careful manner. Assured by that scary lady was going to get blasted far a way from here by knight Stella Gale. Who cracked his knuckles of his gloved hands with kiss after sharing a kiss on the corner of his lips that had Saualpite gulping.
"Take Kaze and Saualpite out the range of the parking lot," knight Stella Gale advice Ben. "i am not playing nice."
