Ninja Steel: Continuing The Power

I did not want to do a Power Rangers fic. But after watching this series on Netflix, I thought otherwise.

Actor Booboo Stewart from Disney's Descendants is my OC Sahir.

Tea Hartford stood in front of the abandon farmhouse. "What happened here?" She asked, looking around in awe and shock.

Chip Thorn stood next to her. "I don't know." He said with a shake of his head, then moved to look around the place. "But it's clear that whoever lived here was forced to leave."

Tea frowned. "Like being evicted?" She asked the red head.

Chip was currently running a hand down the wall near the front door. "I highly doubt the bank did any of this."

"Where's Avril?" Tea asked, running up to him. "She was here, right?"

Chip nodded. "Yeah, she was here." He turns to look out towards the woods.

Suddenly they here movement from inside the house, the two turn towards the door. Tea takes a step backwards and falls off the porch when her foot missed the first step.

Before Tea or Chip could do anything, the front door opened to reveal a man with long brown hair.

"Sahir!" Chip gasped, dropping his fighting stance. "Don't scare us like that!"

Sahir smirks. "Sorry. It's good to see you Chip." He walks over to Tea and holds out his hand for her. "And a pleasure to see you again, my dear." He said with a smile.

Tea returned the smile, quickly taking his offered hand and let's him pull her up. "I'm glad it's just you."

Sahir turns to Chip. "The Prism is missing." He informs.

Chip's eyes grow. "What? Then that means." He trails off, as Sahir nods.

"The Nexus Stars are gone."

"Avril!" Tea gasped, Chip shook his head rapidly.

"No! I don't believe that, she wouldn't move the Prism unless she had too." The red head insisted.

"Hotaru was here." Sahir said as he reached into the pocket of his jeans and pulled out a necklace with a sun and moon pendant, but the pendant is broken.

Tea instantly burst into tears as she took the broken pendant and held it in both her hands.

"Do you know what happened to her?" Chip asked Sahir. "Can you sense her?"

"I cannot." He said with a shake of his head. "She stopped using magic long ago."

Tea tried to wipe her tears, but they kept sliding down her cheeks. "This can't be another dead end." She said brokenly.

Chip walked over to her and wrapped his arm around her, pulling her in for a side hug and she clung to him tightly as she let her tears fall.

"I will not give up hope on Hotaru." Sahir refused with a firm shake of his head. "She saved my family and me. I owe her!"

Chip pulled away from Tea. "I have to inform Nick and the others." He pulled out his mystic morpher and flipped it open. "Nick, come in."

Nick's voice came through. "Chip! Did you find her?"

Tea grabbed the mystic morpher from the red head. "She's not here."

"This is troubling news." Udonna's voice spoke next.

Sahir walked up to Tea's side. "And it gets worse."

"Worse?" Nick demanded. "How?"

"The Prism is missing." Sahir answered. "Along with the Nexus Stars."

"That." Nick started with a hesitent voice. "That's bad."

"We must remain calm." Udonna informs. "Sahir, please come to Briarwood as soon as you can. Chip please take Tea back into the city of Summer Cove."

"But we have to keep looking!" Tea protested, clutching Chip's mystic morpher with both hands. "Udonna, please." She begs.

"No one is giving up." Udonna told her calmly but firmly. "Now, I believe you have a new school to attend."

Tea wiped her tears. "Yes ma'am."

Udonna looked at the home that rested in front of her. She took a deep breath she forced herself to walk up the sidewalk, up the porch and knocked on the door.

After a few minutes, the door opened to reveal Daggeron. "Udonna." He greeted, and she smiled.

"Hello Daggeron, do you mind if we talk outside?"

Suddenly Kaylynn walked up to Daggeron's side. "If this is about Avril, I want to know too." Her voice begged.

Udonna hesitated. "Ok." She caved.

Daggeron opened the door wider, and now the three are sitting down inside the living room.

"Have you found Avril?" Kaylynn asked hopefully.

Udonna paused. "We did find a break through." She began.

"And?" Daggeron encouraged.

"Her aura lead us to the city of Summer Cove." Udonna started slowly. "But." She stopped herself, making Kaylynn hug her husband's arm tightly. "I fear that that is where the trail ends."

Kaylynn shakes her head, before standing and quickly flees the room and runs upstairs.

Daggeron and Udonna then hear a door slam.

"I'm sorry." Udonna apologizes sadly. "I did mean to upset her."

"It's alright." Daggeron said. "There's no trace of Hotaru at all?"

Udonna held up a little bag. "Sahir found this." She laid it in her lap, before she opened it to reveal Avril's broken necklace.

Daggeron paled. "No." He whispered.

"He cannot sense her." Udonna added, then stood up. "I should leave." She held out Avril's broken necklace to Daggeron. "Again. I really wish there was better news to give."

Daggeron walked into the master bedroom to find Kaylynn lying on the bed, hugging her pillow.

He walked over to the bed and sat down. "Kaylynn, my love." He gently placed a hand on her waist.

She moved and shifted to sit up. "We should move to Summer Cove." She said. "That is where Tea is now at. And I would feel better if she stayed with us, her family instead of stranger."

Daggeron gently patted her arm. "If that is what you wish."

"If that is where our daughter was last seen, then yes. That is where I want to be." Kaylynn decides.
