staring at the gray wall a figure moved walking slowly down a broken hall that once was a building of scientific discover and torture now a mess to nature . wall crumbled down trees now sprouting through here and there grass and other vegetation growing through out .
this place used to be where UNSC would study things to make for ONI but it has been quite long since they came here. Such a grand place now reduced to rubble's nature plays around in.
taking a deep sign white eyes glowed glancing about their footsteps silent and light on the ground. coming to a stop the figure stood in a mirror that surprisingly remained intact. gently cleaning off the dirt and grim on the mirror the figure studied themselves. he looked like an average human if humans had pale skin that faded into dark void black color at the hands and arms.
his name was void simply as that he used to be human but thanks to the UNSC he's nothing but a monster. he growled softly teeth flexing out into fangs in his mouth. shifting his weight he walked away scanning the place to make sure no debris would fall on himself as he walked deeper into the forest.
a noise caught his interest a noise only a pelican made when landing on ground after a long flight. getting behind a broken wall void looked around the corner studying the scene before him.
from the pelican came out simple human mercenaries that were scouting out for any valuable things to sell off in the black market. "So ever heard the story about this place ?" the blonde male said as he and his partner walked about to check out their surroundings.
"nope not the full story only snippets and parts " the female human with black hair replied as she got down studying the dirt brows knitting seeing old footsteps.
"from what I remember ONI had this place all hushed up no one knew about it. and they made quite impressive stuff here " the male said as he stopped picking up a box shaking it lightly "it was rumored this place was destroyed by something they made that couldn't be controlled." he added as he set the box down "tch ironic they can control hundreds of people and data but not a simple test subject " he scoffed.
"hey I don't hear you laughing " he said glancing over his shoulder to look at his partner only to fall back with a cry of shock. there on the ground unmoving was the body of his partner her head gone just a neck bleeding out.
"you sound like a girl " a corse voice spoke up behind him as sharp claws grabbed his shoulders.
a scream left the man's throat as he was suddenly dragged into an underbrush a sickly snap following after with birds flying out from the trees squawking out in fear.
