~A New Day~
Today was the first day of many coming to this school, while for myself, this institute was in a different country. Originally I was from America, where the town was average, pleasant, and straightforward, but now I live in Japan. Everything that I have ever known is now halfway across the world, along with the people I care for.
The only good thing about coming to Japan is that I have already lived here once before. My family moved here when I was about five years old then left when I was around twelve. This is my home away from home, and I am thrilled to be back but, now I have to go to a stupid rich school. This place was not where I wanted to finish up these years but, I made a deal.
The majority of the student body is full of children whose parents are elite and wealthy. I do admit that I now fall into this category as well. Father is a businessman that owns many sports bars/stores around the globe, while Mother works as a nurse and part-time writer. The only difference between the other children and myself is that I was not born rich or live in a mansion. My family has only risen in the past five years.
Now the status of my family did not help me get into this place. Instead, my father and I made a deal that I would only go to the school if I passed the entrance exam. Sadly I passed with flying colors and ended up qualifying so, my plan backfired. So here I am, the newest student of this snobby rich school.
Walking up to the towering iron gates guards of this picturesque view. The tall buildings loom behind the enclosure that few can enter. *This place is enormous…are those pink bricks for the structures?*walking through the gate, I take in the view along the cobbled path. With the buildings growing *Never in my life have I seen so much pink in one place. Well, other than the bedroom of my cousin*my heart drops, and my stomach tightens *Shit…I am going to get lost here, I know it*.
Turning my head to the right, I see a group of girls wearing those puffy yellow dresses gossiping. While in the opposite direction, I witness a group of jock-like guys in periwinkle suits who seem to be shouting *Wow…at least the uniform for the males looks nice. Note to self; Thank dad for convincing the chairman into allowing me to wear my outfit* tilting my head down as my hair fell, covering my face.
Focusing on my simple black flats as my hands play with the hem of my sky blue, knee-length pleated skirt. A classic white button-up short-sleeved shirt was tucked in with threes buttons at the top undone with no necktie insight. A wolf necklace and choker with Yin dangling (the dark one of the Yin-Yang symbols) lay in its place.
Taking a breath, I began walking towards the main building as I readjusted my backpack when the area became quiet and full of hush whispers. Lifting my head, I see all the students in the perimeter with their gaze on me for a split second before diverting to another place *Yep, this is High School. Here is the gossip, now where is the drama* chuckling as I walk up the stairs.
Reaching the giant pink doors, I grabbed one of the shiny handles pulling it open with ease. Slowly stepping into the new path ahead of me. Entering the building as the doors closed and onto my new adventure.
