AT WYATT AND SAM'S…
"I missed those rosy cheeks" said Wyatt surprising Sam contemplating herself on the mirror.
"Did I look that bad?" she turned and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Nah, just worried me sick" he gave her a peck on the lips. "Much better this way"
"Oh, well, glad to hear it, cause I plan on staying healthy for a while"
"Promise?"
"Absolutely" she said kissing his neck.
"What you doing now?"
"Taking care of you for a change" she whispered with a smile, kissing down to his shoulders.
"You do know the kids are still awake, right?"
"Aha…" she bit his shoulder playfully. "Which is why I want you to have a nice bath, while I prepare a delicious meal for us… and by that I mean order in (she chuckled), I'llput the kids down for their nap and maybe we can do the unthinkable" she added darkly.
"Yeah?" he smiled caressing from her hips to her bottom. "What would that be?"
"We can actually watch a movie that is not based on a children's cartoon" she opened her mouth in mock shock. Wyatt laughed and kissed her gently on the lips repeatedly.
"That's hot" they both giggled.
"Let's get this show on the road" she kissed him one more time before going to prepare the bath for him, still holding his hand as she opened the tap. "What are you in the mood for?"
"If we're gonna do this, let's do it right"
"Oh, I hear you. Chinese it is!" she said turning to take off his shirt.
"I do believe I can do this myself" he made no effort to resist.
"I know, but sometimes…" she kissed his chest and ran her hands over the back of his pants before pulling them down. "We need to make sure everything's just right" she incorporated to reach his sweet lips once more.
"Have it your way then" he pushed her slowly till her back touched the wall; put his hands on either side of her head and kissed her more intensely. As he started to unbutton her shirt, which was actually one of his, a loud cry interrupted their moment and they both stopped on their tracks panting.
"Feeding time" she kissed him again catching her breath. "I promise after he's done, they're all yours" she smirked as she walked out of the room, holding on to his hand as long as they could until she was well out of reach.
"Order some extra eggrolls, I wanna be able to try them this time"
"Oh gee, not sure that'd be possible, but since you got such a cute butt, I might be able to cut you some slack" Wyatt smiled as he stepped into the tub. Sam walked towards the nursery closing the door to their bedroom behind her.
"Momma" said little Meghan tossing stuffed dolls into the cribs as she came in. There were considerably more of them in Kai's crib than in Angie's, but it was nice to see she had given her some too. Angie sat wide awake examining each of the toys carefully, like a very tiny quality inspector.
"Hey, young lady. Where's your brother, huh? Really? Aren't you sleepy?" she asked as her toddler put her hands together and tilted her tiny head to the side on them. "Well, how bout we give your baby brother some food and then I read you a story, huh?" she said picking up the crying baby. "Would you like that?" Meghan clapped her hands in approval.
"'Tars! Stars!" she yelled to Kai's discomfort who was still crying bloody murder as Sam cradled him, going for the rocking chair, pulling it out from a corner. Meghan had run out of the room and into hers to get her favorite book. She came back a moment later to find Sam setting down to breastfeed her baby brother. "He's hungry" she said caressing his head.
"Yes, he is" said Sam taking the book from her daughter, juggling a now happy baby suckling his meal on one arm. Meghan ran to Angie who had been silently staring at the scene.
"The Stars, Angie! Momma got the stars" she told her little sister. Sam smiled at her daughters with a twinge of hope.
"OK. What are stars?" she started to read. Angie jumped up and down in her crib holding tight with both hands to the rail. Meghan ran to her mother's side to get ready to pull the taps so mommy would read the answers.
After finishing reading the book, Angie had gone down to sleep; Kai's eyes fought to stay open as he was put back on his crib and Meghan rubbed her eyes sleepily. Sam picked her up kissing her cheek as she let her head nod onto her shoulder. She closed the nursery's door as quietly as she could and went next door to find Julian sound asleep.
"OK, missy. Nap time" she said putting her daughter in her crib, pulling the rail up out of sheer habit. If Meghan wanted to get out of bed there was nothing that could really stop her which is why it was the sensible thing to do to convince her to take a nap rather than force her to.
"Tars" she said as she rubbed her little eyes over and over.
"Oh, right" Sam reached for the stars lamp and switched it on. Stars reflected round and round in the room at the rhythm of a gentle lullaby. "There. Sweet dreams, my sweet" Sam kissed her daughter's forehead and turned to her son. She caressed his cheek contemplating him as he sucked on his thumb.
She went to the office across the hall and called the Chinese place, ordering some extra egg rolls, smiling as she did so, and then adding those dumplings Wyatt enjoyed so much. Then, she walked back to their bedroom and opened the bathroom door to find Wyatt with a washcloth over his face, clearly having a relaxing moment. He took it off as he heard her come in.
"They down?" he said splashing water over his head. "Honey?"
"Sorry, you said something?" she smiled and nodded as she kept staring at her beautiful husband. She sat on the floor by the tub letting him caress her face with his wet fingers. "Food should be here within the hour, but I think we got a good solid two hours before the munchkins wake up" she made circles in the water trailing up to his chest back and forth. "I love you" she said staring into his eyes. He pulled her closer to him and bent out of the tub to reach for her lips. As their lips parted, they both licked the aftertaste of their touch on each other's mouths, pressing their heads together, their fingers intertwining, letting time pass them by, utterly lost within each other as they had the first time they had been this close back at P3.
"Listen, Chris and Bianca asked us out to the movies on Friday. Wanna go?"
"Sure. It'll be nice to be outta the house for a while" she looked down.
"What?" he lifted her chin. "You think I forgot?" Sam smiled relieved. "On Saturday, I thought maybe we could go dancing to the club, maybe sneak into the backroom again… I'm sure that old cot is still around somewhere" Sam smirked as Wyatt caressed her cheek soaking half her shirt. "Maybe dinner at our old apartment"
"Our first date" she felt as if she were holding a hanger in her mouth.
"Five years and you're still mine. I'm the luckiest man in the world"
"Yeah, well… I don't think the luckiest girl in the world would quite describe how I feel about still having you right here by my side" she hugged his arm to her heart.
After about half an hour of gushing about each other, food arrived and Sam ran down to pay the delivery guy with a definite spring in her step all the way down.
"That was fast" Sam smiled at the young delivery guy whose eyes glowed as he laid eyes on her. He looked suddenly nervous and stammered.
"That'd be… uhm… 34.50 please"
"OK. Let me just get my… here it is!" she said running for her purse on the kitchen counter, rummaging for her HP wallet and waving it enthusiastically in the air as she found it.
"Cool wallet" he smiled staring at the semi-soaked spots on her clothes. He could see patches of her underwear through them. He gulped nervously, but she didn't notice; her eyes still scanning through her wallet.
"Thanks. OK. I got… 40, got any change?" she smiled as she offered him two twenty-dollar bills.
"Umh…" he searched his pockets nervously, staring from her to his own sides.
"It's cool. You can keep the change if you don't. It's worth the tip"
"What is?" he said scanning her up and down as he spoke. "Food's not that great" his tone sarcastic.
"Oh, no. I meant it's kind of an anniversary take-out meal, so… it's worth the extra tip" she smiled widely again thinking of Wyatt waiting for her in their bathroom tub.
"Oh…" the light in his eyes dimmed down as he heard she was married. "Well… happy anniversary and… enjoy the food" he took the money and started to walk away, but turned back. "Thanks, again" he stared at her a second longer and then kept walking to his motorcycle. Sam took the bag upstairs locking the door behind her.
Wyatt was already in the bedroom drying off his hair with a towel, another one wrapped around his waist.
"I think the new delivery guy likes me or maybe it was the 5.50 tip that made him act a little weird" Wyatt smiled and went to hug her as she set down the food on the nightstand.
"Well, 5.50 can put a person right up there with the rich and famous" he kissed her, setting his hands on her hips. "Or…" he cupped his hands around her chin. "You are just too darn beautiful"
"You're biased" she kissed him, wrapping her arms around his waist.
"Maybe a little… but still… you look damn good for a mother of four" he brushed his lips on her forehead, running down to her cheek, planting tender kisses every few inches.
"Well, I was anemic for a while, so I kinda cheated" he laughed, his lips muffled against her skin. She searched for his lips, staring at them longingly. She couldn't bring herself to believe she had been kissing them for five years now and would be happily doing it for the rest of her life. He pulled her head to his lips, making her stand on tiptoe. Then, without another word he carried her to the bed as the towel fell unceremoniously on the floor as he laid his body next to her.
He unbuttoned her shirt using a single hand, biding his time. She caressed his face still completely lost in his eyes, deep into hers. She could feel the brush of his fingertips against her skin as he undressed her. He bent to kiss her lips, his hand squeezing her hips, sliding her pajama bottoms slowly down her legs.
Sam sat up and pulled her shirt off her shoulders, leaning on him, kissing every bit of his face as she could before turning to his mouth. His taste overwhelming in her mouth, running lusciously through her. Wyatt straightened up to unhook her brassiere, taking a moment to contemplate his beloved. Even when he had first laid eyes on her, thinking she was the most beautiful thing in the world, couldn't compare to how beautiful she was to him at this very moment.
He sunk into her chest as her hands ran up his hair. She sat on top of him allowing his touch to reach every bit of her body, igniting every inch beyond delight, knowing she would never want anybody to ever touch her like he was. The air got increasingly harder to take in and soon the two lovers were deep in each other's bodies as much as they were in their hearts every moment of their existence.
His hands ran up and down her back, pressing random points on their way. Her hands running from his face down to his shoulders where she kissed him, pressing her lips, savoring his skin; feeling how his own kisses reached the inside of her neck when she did so.
Wyatt pushed her lovingly to the bed, where he caressed her every curve. Smiling, he sunk himself into her once again, his lips parting hers as they devoured each other in pleasure. Their fingers found each other on the sheets, tangling together. Each moment their lips were apart, their eyes met saying everything they couldn't put into words. This wasn't like the first time, it was infinitely better, so much, at one point they just held each other tight afraid to let go. They breathed each other's breaths, closed their eyes, blissfully sensing every bit of their skin against each other…
Friday came all too soon for everybody, Leo had been working long hours on the restaurant's kitchen, making sure every bit of it was as Piper had always dreamt of. Meanwhile, Piper and the sisters dealt with every possible detail for the party. Cake was gonna be delivered a little late which made Piper grunt a bit more than needed into the Bakery's phone, but she wasn't gonna let anything ruin this day for her son. She was well beyond convinced he had earned it all the way. Chris was organizing all the battle strategy to keep things under control without the need of his brother. Bianca had been patrolling the underground on and off, making sure nothing big was cooking which didn't seem to be at the moment.
"Ready for tonight?" said Chris leaning on the kitchen counter as Sam sliced and diced some fruit for the kids. She nodded, smiling as she kept her eyes down. "OK. Cool" he turned around supporting his weight on his elbows on the counter now. "Tell me they're not watching that show again" Sam laughed at his comment.
"Well, if you wanna try and turn it off, be my guest"
"Alright" he said sick of watching the same show and apparently episode every single time he came over. He walked into the living room and took the remote. "Wanna see what else is on?" he asked playfully.
"Bubba, Bubba" clapped the tiny crew.
"I know, I know, but let's just… give it a rest" he said grabbing the remote from the couch and switching the show. Big mistake. Angela began pouting threatening to cry. "Oh, sweetie. I'm sorry, look…" he said climbing down the couch to sit by her side, clicking a random cartoon. "Isn't this one better?" Angie's tears began to run down her little face. "Don't cry, look. That one's funny too!" he fake-laughed and tried bouncing her into a better mood.
However, just as Angie seemed like she might be settling down, Meghan started to throw a full-blown tantrum. She started tucking on Chris' shirt, taking the remote from him only to offer it back pointed to the TV set. "Bubba, Bubba, Bubbaaaaaaaaaaa!" she started screaming at his inaction. Julian sat there pouting himself in silence, throwing sad looks at his uncle, which made his insides turn with guilt. Meghan's yelling woke little Kai who started screaming at the top of his lungs making his uncle Chris wish he could have his mother's ability to freeze such chaos.
