This fic is gonna be a neglected Naruto one with him eating a devil fruit and being extremely op, and I mean like S-rank by 14 op, so if you don't like it don't read.

Prologue

October 10th (the day Kyuubi attacks)

Minato Namikaze, the Yondaime Hokage of Konoha, the Yellow Flash, nephew of Tsunade Senju and student of the Toad Sage, Jiraiya was usually a very collected and observant individual, but right now he was freaking out. The reason, his wife Kushina Namikaze, the Red Hot-Blooded Habanero, was currently in labor again after a year. Once again, the Kyuubi was trying to break free, as he focused on maintaining the strength of the seal on her abdomen, while his aunt Tsunade and sister Shizune, delivered the triplets about to be born. They were currently in an undisclosed location, somewhere behind the Hokage Monument, in a dull cave lit with countless candles. His eldest son Menma, who looked exactly like him, was currently cradled in his left arm who watched the pain his mother was under with a sad expression on his face.

"Ahhhh, I'll kill you Minato, you bastard, I have to go through this again because of you. I'LL RIP YOUR BALLS OUT! AHHHHHH!" the red head in labour screamed at her husband who could only chuckle nervously while covering his crotch. Tsunade, Shizune and Biwako, the 3rd Hokage's wife could only watch the scene with an amused expression on their face.

"Kushi darling it will be alright I promise, aren't you excited to meet our babies?" the blonde asked as he tried to ease his wife's worries. It did not work.

"Okay the first of the three is here, it's a boy!" exclaimed an excited Tsunade as she delivered the first baby and handed him off to Shizune. Said baby boy, had vibrant red hair like his mother and azure eyes that could put any ocean to shame. Minato was very excited to meet his 2nd son, but decided to focus on maintaining the seal and glomping him after.

The next one out was a baby girl who like her father had sun kissed blonde hair and amethyst eyes like her mother with 2 whisker marks on each cheek. She would have looked like a carbon copy of Minato had it not been for her whiskers and eye color. They had another girl who looked like an exact replica of her mother. It was clear she had inherited strong Uzumaki traits. Kushina sighed out in relief as it was finally over after gruelling hours of intense pain. Minato also took a deep breath as it took a lot of concentration to maintain the seal from breaking. While Biwako cleaned up the babies and wrapped them up in towels, the other 2 ladies and Minato along with Menma made their way to a panting Kushina who smiled warmly while she gazed at her newborn children.

"So, what have you decided to name your little angels? Who are their godparents? Can I name one? Or better, can I adopt one?" Tsunade asked with intense fervor, and fired one question after another. Minato couldn't help but chuckle at his aunt's antics. After the death of his uncle Dan, in the 3rd Shinobi World War, she had been only a shell of her former self. Even her teammates, Jiraiya and Orochimaru couldn't cheer her up. She only became a little like her former self after his younger sister Shizune stared to apprentice under her, and her granduncle gave her a rather blunt yet comforting speech, on how she was letting Dan's memory down and should instead focus on trying to accomplish his dreams and look after her precious people while she still has some left. This gave her the strength to remain in Konoha and continue her duties at the hospital. Shortly after that she started her medic programme and Minato was hailed as the 4th Hokage beating Orochimaru and Danzo for the position. Despite losing to Minato, Orochimaru didn't have any complaints as this allowed him to travel more and quench his thirst for knowledge and becoming a master of ninjutsu.

"Well, I know what I want to name my son. He is going to be a mama's boy I just know it, so I have decided to name him Naruto 'Maelstrom' Uzumaki Namikaze," Kushina replied with a warm smile on her face. This gesture was reciprocated by everyone.

"I think I'll call my blonde princess, Natsumi Uzumaki Namikaze. Aunt Tsunade would you do us the honor of naming our third child," asked Minato lovingly, instead of his usual stoic voice. This made Tsunade squeal like a fangirl before she went into a thinking stance and clapped her hands when she thought of the perfect name for her grandniece.

She smiled and said, "I have the perfect name for her. Since she looks like a replica of Kushina, I would like to name her after my grandmother Mito." This made everyone very happy, especially Kushina, since Mito-sama had helped her a lot when she had sailed here from Uzushiogakure and comforted her when the news about the Uzumaki's being exterminated by the combined efforts of Kumo, Iwa and Kiri, had reached Konoha. Through unknown reasons the entire island had sealed itself and nobody could enter it after the war, which prevented any intruders from collecting any spoils of war, frustrating many who were a part of the forces.

As the family was chatting, they failed to notice a distortion in the air behind them, near the bed where the triplets were placed. Suddenly out of a swirl in the air, a man wearing a black cloak and orange spiral mask walked out and slashed Biwako's back with a kunai and grabbed the nearest baby which happened to be Naruto. As Biwako fell to the floor with a loud thud and screamed out, all the others in the room were alerted of the new presence between them.

"Biwako obasan!" Tsunade screamed out, watching the wife of her sensei writhing in agony on the floor, while a masked freak held a bloodied kunai to baby Naruto's neck who started to cry out loud due to being moved so suddenly.

'How the hell did he get in here and past my seals? And where are the Anbu I stationed outside?' thought Minato as he watched helplessly as his son was in the hands of someone who could be potentially extremely dangerous.

"Naru-chan! What do you want you bastard!?" screamed a Kushina, who had already started shedding tears as she watched the fate of her newborn son in the hands of a lunatic.

"That's simple, I want you Jinchuriki. So, I kindly ask for the rest of you to step aside or your son dies at the ripe age of 10 minutes," stated the masked intruder as everyone's eyes widened, since Kushina's status as a jinchuriki was known only to a select few in the village. Tsunade tried to move and get Naruto of the man's grasp but stopped after taking a step when she saw the freak push the kunai closer to Naruto's neck.

"Now let's everyone calm down and talk this through like adults," Minato tried to stall so he could user his hiraishin and get his baby out of this situation.

"You should take your own advice Hokage I am perfectly calm so do not worry about me. Now I hate repeating myself so mover away from the Jinchuriki otherwise you will lose your son," the man said as Naruto's cries got louder. This made Kushina cry even more as she saw her son in pain.

All of a sudden, the man tossed Naruto in the air and Minato quickly leaped forward and caught his son, while Tsunade sprinted towards a dying Biwako and Shizune moved to check on the other kids, with Menma in her arms sleeping peacefully.

As Minato made sure his son was safe, who had stopped crying and was looking at his father with a stunned expression on his face, but let out a happy giggle when he saw his father smile. Minato was broken out of his stupor when he saw a few explosive tags attached to the back of his son's blanket. As he threw the blanket away from his son and teleported the two of them to his safe house, he saw the man disappearing along with a still crying Kushina into a swirl that appeared out of thin air and carried them both somewhere.

Minato's Safe House, somewhere outside the village

Minato flashed to one of his safe houses and slid down the floor and cradled his son in his arms to prevent him from being hit anywhere. He halted in front of a bed and slowly put his son down on the bed, who he now noticed, had fallen asleep somewhere amidst this whole fiasco. As he watched his son's chest rise and fall steadily, he started to think back on the events that took place and his mind began to formulate plans to deal with all kinds of scenarios that could possibly occur and how was he going to save both his wife and village.

After making sure his son was safe, he made his way back to the cave where his other children were, with Tsunade and Shizune.

"How is Biwako, Tsunade obasan? Will she make it?" the village leader asked with remorse evident in his voice.

The aged woman looked at him with a grim expression before continuing," She'll live Minato, but her spine was damaged by the slash and she has severe nerve damage as well, she may not be able to walk again but she will live. I have tried healing her to the best of my abilities and removed any bacteria that could have entered her system so you don't have to worry. How is Naruto and where you able to locate Kushina?"

"I haven't been able to locate her yet, something is blocking me from flashing next to her. Her ring does have a hiraishin seal. Maybe it is the masked man's influence? I need to go after them, meanwhile please take my children to the Namikaze Mansi- "stopped Minato as he heard rumbling in the distance, along with a malicious presence that could be felt throughout the village. He had an idea who or what it was and the hate filled roar that would have made anyone pass out just confirmed his suspicion.

'Kyuubi.' Each and every one present in Konoha thought the same thing.

The village

It was just another peaceful night for the villagers who were enjoying themselves with their families, when they heard an inhuman roar that caused most of the civilians and many shinobi to fall down to their knees. All of them looked out of their windows and saw a sight they will never forget, the Kyuubi no Kitsune, the King of all the Bijuu, was at their doorstep and was destroying what they all worked hard to make. The shinobi all began gathering up their gear and fled towards the battlefield in an attempt to minimize or stop the Kyuubi's rampage, until their hokages joined the battlefield

While the shinobi forces were subduing the beast, Minato was trying to capture the masked man, who is responsible for all this. He knew that the Kyuubi would never attack anything or anyone until its antagonized, so to see him wrecking the village made Minato realize that he is under a genjutsu and a really powerful one at that, if it can subdue the the Strongest Bijuu the world knows of.

'The only one who has ever subdued the Kyuubi with the mokuton or adamantine sealing chains was… but it can't be him, he died almost half a century ago. But there is no other explanation. He slipped past my barrier and anbu guards, and passed through the village's defenses undetected,' thought Minato as he dodged another barrage of kunai from his opponent. "Are you Uchiha Madara?" he asked.

"I guess they don't call you a genius for nothing, Yondaime," the man responded as he took of his hood. (the rest of the fight is the same as the one in canon so im not gonna waste my time writing that)

With the Kyuubi

As soon as he felt that the influence of the cursed eyes of those thieves had been wiped off, he began to turn back, but the Konoha ninja continued to attack him. After Hiruzen Sarutobi had joined them in battle along with the Monkey King, Enma the shinobis were even more motivated to save their home and began to fight with even more vigour than before. Hiruzen continued to attack the Kyuubi with his adamantine staff, while the ninjas fired one jutsu after another relentlessly at the beast. When they thought that the fight was tipping in their favour, the Kyuubi opened it mouth and gave off a bloodthirsty roar, as its mouth began to glow orange. The ones who saw this quickly began weaving hand signs for the mud wall jutsu. As a torrent of vermillion flames rushed out of the beast's mouth every shinobi present shouted, "Earth Style: Mud wall!"

A second later numerous walls rose out of the earth and began forming a protective wall in front of them to slow down or even stop the incoming attack, but much to their dismay the flames cut through the walls like a hot knife through butter.

"EVERYBODY GET DOWN OR GET AWAY FROM ITS PATH!" Hiruzen shouted by using chakra to increase the amplitude of his voice. When it seemed like all hope was lost everyone heard a few words that made them feel extremely nostalgic and delighted, knowing who had joined the battlefield.

"Water Style: Water Severing Wave," all of them heard and turned around to see the man who saved their lives once again, by extinguishing the flames of apocalypse. Yes people, Tobirama Senju, the Nidaime Hokage, had joined them on the field. Despite being over 70 years old, Tobirama still looked like he was in his late 40's much like Hiruzen who was around 53 years old. Longevity and body strength of a pure Senju was no joke, and he was the prime example of it.

"Saru why is the Kyuubi attacking the village and where the hell is Minato right now? Did Kushina's seal break?" the aged ex-hokage asked stoically.

"We have no idea sensei, he hasn't been spotted, but from what I heard from Tsunade, a man entered the hideout where she was giving birth and threatened to kill one of their sons if Minato didn't move away from Kushina. He is the one most likely responsible for this.

Plus, something doesn't add up. The Kyuubi had never expressed any hostility towards Konoha before so why is it attacking now? Even the way it appeared and its change in behaviour made it seem like-."

"Like it was summoned here against its will and ordered to cause damage by a third party," Tobirama continued with narrowed eyes, with a grim expression on his face, almost as if he knew who was the third party involved. Both of them were cut short of their musings when they saw the Kyuubi prepare a bijuudama. All of them began weaving hand signs to shield themselves when the kyuubi disappeared in a yellow flash. They all let out a sigh of relief as they knew that the Yellow Flash of Konoha had come to their rescue.

With Minato

He teleported the kyuubi to the outskirts of Hi no Kuni, somewhere in a clearing. He trapped the fox in a kage level barrier and flashed back to Kushina and the kids as he knew that only children of Uzumaki heritage were capable of containing the bijuu's chakra safely and access it whenever they desired.

"Kushi-chan I am splitting the Kyuubi's chakra into 3 parts using an alternate version of the Shiki Fuijin, and using the 8 Trigrams Seal I'll seal it within our children. The consciousness of the Kyuubi will be sealed 3 ways as well, this way each one of our children will be able to use 3 tails worth of chakra without going completely out of control. I want you to hold it down using your chains alongside Gamabunta-sama," Minato said as he summoned Gamabunta over the nine-tailed beast.

"Are you sure Minato-kun, we don't even know whether the seal will work or not," Kushina panted out as she bound the Kyuubi using her gold chains. The fact that she was still alive even after the bijuu was forced out of her is a miracle in itself.

"I know Kushi-chan but it's for the betterment of the village."

"Oye, gaki do whatever you are doing quickly, I won't be able to hold him down for much," Gamabunta shouted, clearly not enjoying sitting on the strongest bijuu, with a bleeding gash over his right eye.

As soon as he heard that Minato quickly weaved the signs for the Reaper Death Seal but added a few more, making it function differently. As soon as the Shinigami appeared, he requested the god of death to split the chakra evenly and seal it within his children, Menma, Mito and Natsumi. After the whole ordeal, it was time for the moment of truth.

'I hope it works otherwise Kushina will have to raise our children alone,' thought a distressed Minato as he watched the Shinigami extend his hand forward but, instead of going through him it sailed over him and extended towards the prison beside the T&I department, where criminals were imprisoned for serious offences, like missing nins. He watched as the hand of the death god extended forward and retracted just as quickly but this time a human soul was stationed within their hand. He watched as the death god swallowed the person whole, and breathed out a sigh of relief since his plan has worked.

Minato, with the help of Kushina had altered the seal a bit, which resulted in the Shinigami taking the soul of anyone the summoner had marked with a special seal instead of them. He had already marked a few people who were stationed to be executed in the week before Kushina went into labour, hoping to avoid something like this if complications arose during the delivery.

He went on ahead and hugged Kushina and his children and sighed. It was finally over.

A few hours later, Namikaze Household

"Gaki I knew you were a genius, but surviving the Reaper Death Seal, that's a new level of genius. I have never been more proud to call you my student before," stated Jiraiya the Toad Sage as he sipped on some sake. As soon as the word about the Kyuubi attack had gone out, both the toad and snake sannin's had returned as fast as possible.

"I concur. Minato, I must say I feel happy losing the seat of the hokage to you. Well done my friend," Orochimaru congratulated as he watched little Naruto trying to catch his sword, The Kusanagi in his tiny hands and watched on as a smirk adorned his face, showing his amusement. Minato had flashed to where Naruto was as soon as he had returned home with Kushina and the kids. He was surprised to see him up and trying to take the hiraishin kunai on the wall beside him but struggle miserably. He wished he had a camera to capture the pouting face of his new-born son, that had the power to swoon any lady with its cuteness.

Kushina was now asleep as she had faced severe chakra exhaustion and even with Tsunade's medical treatment she couldn't even stand straight now. The kids who he had sealed the kyuubi into were asleep as well. The sandaime had quickly made his way to the hospital after congratulating Minato on the birth of his kids, to stand by his injured wife's side and support her the best he could since there was a good chance she would never be able to walk on her own now, due to the injuries she sustained.

"Minato, I want you to tell me everything about what happened between the stranger and you," inquired Tobirama, who wanted to confirm his suspicions regarding the stranger's identity. So, Minato recited the entire tale from what happened in the hideout to the moment of sealing.

"I can strongly say that the man who is responsible for this wasn't Madara Uchiha. He would never mask his face; he was too arrogant for that. But this is a matter of grave concern. We need to monitor the Uchiha clan's actions now and need to uncover this masked bastard's identity," spoke Tobirama with a serious expression on his face after listening to what Minato said. Over the years he had started to ease up on the Uchiha clan, but if they had any part in this incident, he would gladly remind them why the Senju were feared throughout the Elemental Nations.

All the sannin and the hokage nodded at his words, along with Naruto who also had a serious expression on his face as well, pretty similar to Tobirama's which made everyone chuckle at the redhead's actions. Just then an anbu with a dog mask appeared and said, "Hokage-sama the civilians and shinobi alike are waiting to hear from you. Would you like them to wait?"

"No Kakashi tell them I'll be there in a few moments with the sannin and Nidaime-sama. Send a summon out to Sandaime-sama as well. Tell them to wait patiently till then and get the anbu to calculate how much damage has occurred to the village and number of casualties. If possible, get them to secure the bodies as well, it will help their families," Mianto replied and the anbu agent disappeared via a shunshin.

As the adults got up and made their way towards Minato who ruffled his son's hair one last time before tucking him in beside his mother and siblings. He smiled as his son yawned and drifted off into dreamland, before he flashed away to the hokage office with the rest of the people who were present there.

Things were going to be different now and everyone knew it. However, nothing comes without consequences, especially not a deal with death, and Minato and Kushina were going to learn it the hard way.

So here you have it the first chapter of this story. This my first fanfiction and I know its short, but I'm not used to writing long stories so forgive me. This is just the prologue; I'll upload the 1st chapter in the next two weeks since I have a few tests during the month.
