Hello and welcome, fellow FF7 fans. This ist my first longer work of (fan)fiction. I hope that you like this longfic (✿◠‿◠). It's not nearly done, so feel free to follow/like to not miss future updates.

Spoiler warning

This fanfic roughly follows the Before Crisis and Crisis Core stories, though I took some liberties with regards to the actual timelines. Beware that this fanfic may contain spoilers for those of you who did not play Before Crisis. Although it is currently unknown which parts of Before Crisis will be canon for the FF7 remake, beware that this fic may spoil one or two surprises that Square has planned in the future parts of the remake, particulary regarding the reason for and nature of Rufus Shinra's extended absence prior to the FF7 main game that has been hinted at in both the original game and the remake, which are, as far as I know, not commonly known within the FF7 fanbase. Though this is just speculation on my part, obviously.
