Hotaru goes to forks to see her cousin Bella, not knowing that her cousin associates herself with vampires and werewolf's, now the volturi is after Hotaru because of her powers but they won't be able to get her unless they go through the Cullen's and the werewolf's along with Hotaru imprint. (Hotaru was never reborn so she can control everyone's power since she is the scout of destruction, Queen Serenity granted her those powers before the destruction of the moon kingdom).
"Hello", said Hotaru as she answered the phone.
"Hotaru-Chan it's your uncle Charlie…. how are you", he said happily.
"Uncle Charlie, how are you and Bella", said Hotaru happily.
"I'm doing good my dear, listen I know your all the way in Japan and I wouldn't be calling you with this, but can you come and spend some time with Bella…..she has been depressed since her boyfriend broke up with her…she spends her time in her room staring at the wall barely eating or leaving her room….could you please come and see her I beg you", said Charlie sadly.
Hotaru held the phone close to her heart as a single tear rolled down her cheeks, she slowly put the phone back to her ear, "Sure uncle Charlie I'll catch the next flight out to Forks I should be there tomorrow morning", she said sadly.
"Thank you Hotaru so much…you have no idea what this means to me I'll see you tomorrow", said Charlie as he hung up the phone.
Hotaru hung up the phone she walked out of her room to see her family, "I need to leave for Forks, Washington to go see my cousin Bella, apparently her boyfriend broke up with her and she is severely depressed and he wants me to come out there to cheer her up so I will speak to hime and prepare for my flight", she said as her family smiled at her.
"We don't have an enemy right now so I think it's a perfect time for you to go", said Michelle as she stared at her mirror.
"Yeah firefly you should enjoy yourself you deserve it", said Amara as she wrapped her arms around Michelle shoulders.
Trista had a knowing smile on her face, "Go and enjoy yourself, but be careful young one you never know what you might run into", she said walking away.
Hotaru stared after her, knowing that she knows something that she isn't telling her.
Hotaru went back inside of her room and began packing ger bag's for her trip as she did she stopped and thought about her lost love Henry, who was a knight of Saturn and her betrothed, but he died in battle when the moon kingdom fell, she wasn't sure if he got reincarnated by Queen Serenity, she was hoping he did but she wouldn't know where he was or if would remember her and what they have together. She picked up her phone and dialed her princess.
"Hello", said Serena.
"Hello princess", said Hotaru.
"Hotaru-Chan how are you", she said happily.
"I'm good hime, the reason for this call is because I have to go to America primarily Forks, Washington, my uncle Charlie has called and told me that my cousin Bella has become depressed because her boyfriend broke up with her and he wants me to look out for her for awhile and since we don't have an enemy right now I thought, this would be the perfect time to leave", she said quietly.
"Of course, you can leave Hotaru, you don't need my permission to leave, go and take care of your family, if we need you we will call you", she said happily.
"I will princess thank you so much take care I should be back in a few weeks", said Hotaru as she grabbed her luggage and bag.
"I will bye Hotaru", said serena as she hung up the phone.
Hotaru put her phone in her purse and grabbed her charger she rolled her stuff in the living room where she turned to her family and smiled, "Bye everyone I should be back in a few weeks", she said as her family waved at her she nodded as she teleported to the airport bathroom.
Hotaru walked out of the bathroom and headed to the ticket counter to her boarding pass, once she was passed security she sat down in a chair near her gate waiting for her flight to be called.
Forks, Washington
Charlie hung up the phone talking to his niece nobody knew not even his daughter and ex-wife but Charlie wasn't from Earth he is from the planet Saturn where his niece the heir to the throne and Sailor Saturn was supposed to rule but he ended up getting reincarnated after the fall of the moon kingdom but he had all of his memories and power's and he even kept his sword in his closet. His niece wasn't reincarnated she slept after the destruction of the moon kingdom until it was time for her to awaken again.
Charlie sighed as he went upstairs to Bella's room he knocked on the door and he didn't get a response he opened the door and saw her staring at the window not moving, he sighed as he walked up to her and touch her shoulder, "Bella….I can't stand seeing you like this so I called your cousin Hotaru to come stay with us for a few weeks to help you feel better would you like that", he said waiting for a response.
When he didn't get one he sighed as he walked out of her room, he went back downstairs and called his friend Billy Black.
"Hello", said Billy.
"Hey Billy it's Charlie, how are you", said Charlie.
"Charlie, so nice to speak to you I'm good, how is Bella doing feeling any better", he said coolly.
Charlie sighed, "Not good I had to call in my niece from Japan to come see about her and she agreed to stay for a few weeks to help her out", he said.
"Your niece? I didn't know you had any sibling's Charlie I thought you were an only child", said a shocked Billy.
Charlie hit himself on the forehead he forgot Billy doesn't know about his heritage he had to come up with a quick story to tell him,"Yeah Billy I had a brother who was a scientist but he lived in Japan with my niece, her name is Hotaru, her mother died in a house fire when she was young so she lived with her father, but her father died a few year's ago, so her guardians and friend's have been taking care of her she is 18 actually a year older then Bella", he said not really telling his niece or his real age since he himself is much older then he looks.
"I'm so sorry to hear that Charlie I didn't know…. you never once talked about him and we all thought you were an only child but you should bring her down to the reservation to meet Jacob when she arrives and bring Bella as well Jacob misses her like crazy", he said looking at his sleeping son.
Charlie smiled," Yeah that's a good idea, she comes in tomorrow we will be down there for sure", he said happily.
"Sound's good my friend I will see you all tomorrow bye Charlie", said Billy as he hung up the phone.
Charlie smiled he knew having his niece here would help Bella recover and hopefully snap her out of this depression.
Hotaru boarded her plane she smiled as she was excited to see her uncle and cousin but she also had a feeling that something good was going to happen to her but she also had a bad feeling about something else but she couldn't put her finger on it. She slowly began falling asleep dreaming about her lost love hoping to see him one day.
"Miss…. miss…. wake up were here", said the flight attendant as she shook Hotaru awake.
Hotaru slowly blinked her eye's open and sat up she looked and saw she was the last passenger onboard, she slowly got up and stretched, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to oversleep", she said quietly.
"That's alright sweetie, I understand let's help you get your thing's", said the flight attendant who grabbed her luggage and carryon bag for her.
Hotaru walked off of the plane and grabbed her thing's from the flight attendant she looked around looking for her uncle she quickly saw him, "Uncle Charlie", she said running up to him hugging him tightly.
"Hotaru-Chan oh my gosh look at you I'm so glad you could make it", said Charlie as he held his niece tightly.
"I've missed you so much Uncle Charlie, it's been so long", said Hotaru as tears rolled down her cheeks.
Charlie let her go as he wiped the tears from her eyes, "You look so much like my brother…. I only wish he was here to see you I assume the prince and princess are doing well", he said smiling.
Hotaru pulled back from her Uncle, "How did you know about them", she said as they began walking out the airport together.
"Of course, I know about them, don't think I don't pay attention to the news about the royal family and sailor scouts remember I'm much older then I look dear…. anyways let's get you home to see Bella hopefully you can snap her out of this daze she is in", he said as they got in his police cruiser and headed to his house.
"How have you been…. how is Japan", said Charlie.
"I'm good everything has been good for us all, Japan is nice, you and Bella should come visit us sometimes…. does Bella know about us…or even you…or about who she is", she said quietly.
Charlie shook her head, "No I haven't told her, I don't think she is ready for that plus I don't think her power's have developed yet, when they do I will tell her all about you and me and about our history until then let's try to get her to cheer up and open up to you", he said as they pulled up to his home where Bella's red truck was still parked outside.
Hotaru opened her door and got out she looked around the neighborhood and notice how quiet it was how green and lush it was despite the cold but she was used to it she looked up at the sky and notice it was cloudy she couldn't even see the sun, she notices it was very cool outside, she knew she wasn't in Japan anymore.
"Let's get you inside kiddo, got some people I want you to meet later on, plus they want to see Bella again", said Charlie who grabbed her thing's as they walked inside the house.
Hotaru walked inside the small two-story house, she smiled as her and Charlie began walking upstairs they soon came upon a door that read Bella on it, Charlie knocked on the door, when he didn't get a response he opened the door and they both walked in to see Bella sitting in her chair staring outside at nothing.
Hotaru rushed into the room and walked in front of Bella, her heart broke for the girl she knew all about lost and heartache but never had someone break up with her to this magnitude.
"Bella…. it's me Hotaru", she said taking the girl's hand which were ice cold.
When Bella didn't respond to Hotaru she turned to her uncle and smiled at him, "I've got this Charlie you can go now we will be down later I promise", she said turning back to a comatose Bella.
Charlie nodded as he walked out of the room, he closed the door and walked away knowing his niece could get Bella to talk.
"Bella can you hear me", she said quietly.
Bella was looking at nothing, she didn't feel anything all she felt was pure loneliness, she wanted Edward back but she didn't understand why he left her, he said he loved her but yet he left her in the woods all alone.
Hotaru sighed she wasn't getting anything from Bella she held both of her hands as she closed her eyes and her hands began glowing purple, she hoped this would work.
As Bella sat there she started to feel something warm entering her body she didn't know what it was, she slowly felt some of the darkness slip away and a light was making its way through her she slowly blinked her eye's as they became focused again she looked down and saw her cousin Hotaru in front of her with her hand's glowing purple.
"Ho…. taru…. Chan", said Bella quietly.
Hotaru looked up at her cousin she let go of her hand, as she stood in front of Bella," Bella are you alright", she said gently.
Bella slowly nodded her head, "What are you doing here Hotaru", she said quietly.
Hotaru smiled at her, 'Uncle Charlie called me and told me you needed me…what happened Bella", she said.
Bella knew she couldn't tell her cousin about everything with Edward especially him being a vampire along with his whole family being vampires.
"My boyfriend broke up with me and left me in the woods, he said he loved me but he left me like I was nothing and its hurt's so much Hotaru…. I loved Edward so much even though he has left me here and didn't take me with him…. what's wrong with me Hotaru….", said Bella as tears began rolling down her face.
"Oh, Bella there is nothing wrong with you, it's his lost not yours he was a fool for leaving you…. it's ok dear you can cry all you want I am here for you", she said as she held Bella in her arms as she began crying on her shoulder.
Bella let all of her pain and sorrow out, she finally took a deep breath as she was able to breath again she cried loudly while holding on to Hotaru for dear life, "It hurts Hotaru….so much…. why does it hurt….", she said wishing the pain would go away?
"It's going to hurt for a while, but you will get better I promise you will, I'm going to be right here with you…. now let's get you cleaned up dear Charlie wants to take us out tonight something about going to see a Billy and Jacob", she said helping Bella up as they walked to the bathroom.
Bella nodded as she allowed Hotaru to help her up as they got inside of the bathroom where Hotaru turned on the shower water for Bella.
"You need any help Bella", said Hotaru.
'No Hotaru, I can do it thank you", she said as Hotaru nodded and walked out of the bathroom, she walked downstairs to see her uncle in the kitchen reading a newspaper at the kitchen table.
"Uncle Charlie I got Bella up and she taking a shower right now", she said as Charlie got up and hugged her tightly.
"But how…. what did you say to her", he said as tears rolled down his face.
"I used my healing power's on to her to wake her up from the darkness inside of her mind, she cried and she can finally breath as well it's a slow start but I know Bella will be okay now, she has us now and I won't let her be dragged back into the darkness not ever again", she said hugging him back.
"If Sam, Paul, and Jared hadn't found my baby she could have died", he said letting her go.
"Who are they and how did they find her", she said.
"There boys from the Quileute reservation, Billy had them help me out to look for Bella and they found her in the woods she almost had hypothermia but thank goodness they found my baby girl", he said.
"I will have to thank them", she said as they heard Bella coming downstairs fully dressed looking better then what she did before.
Charlie walked up to Bella he hugged her tightly," Bella thank goodness you're alright I'm, so glad your back I thought I lost you", said Charlie as fresh tears rolled down his face again.
Bella stiffened in his arms she sighed as she took a deep breath she wrapped her arms around her father and cried into his shirt, "I'm fine dad…. really, I am fine Hotaru is helping me out", she said still crying into his shirt.
"I'm so happy Bella you had me scared here I'm so glad to have you back", he said holding her tightly.
After a few minutes passed they both separated wiping their eyes, "Now that we got that out the way let's head down to the reservation Jacob and Billy are waiting for us", he said as both girl's nodded.
"Wait…. I need to bring something to thank the guy's who helped find you Bella", said Hotaru.
Charlie went into the freezer and grabbed a frozen pie, he grabbed apple and cherry pie, he gently put them both into the over he turned to Hotaru and smiled, "Good idea Hotaru it's going to take 30 minutes why don't you girls go out back to get some fresh air", he said as Bella grabbed Hotaru hand and walked her out back.
Hotaru took a deep breath she loved the outdoors more than anyone even more than Amara and she was the scout of the wind she turned to Bella and smiled at her as Bella just stared at her, "Something wrong Bella", she said gently.
"How did you do it, how did your hand's glow purple", she said.
Hotaru smile dropped she sighed as she knew this was going to happen," Bella there is so much I want to tell you but I think your dad should tell you everything first", she said gently.
"My dad…was does my dad have to do with this", she said shocked.
"Charlie…", shouted Hotaru.
"What is it Hotaru", said Charlie coming out back.
"It's time to tell her…she saw my power's so she is asking question", said Hotaru.
Charlie sighed he knew it was sooner then later he would have to tell Bella the truth, "let's go talk in the house the pies are almost ready", he said as everyone walked back into the house.
Charlie took the pie's out of the oven to let them cool off, they all sat down at the table waiting for someone to speak.
"Bella I am not human nor is Hotaru well were human but not fully human were immortal, before you ask how let me explain…me and Hotaru are from the planet Saturn were not from Earth, Hotaru here is princess and heir to the throne and I am her biological uncle my brother her father died in battle and when she was young and I have been taking care of her to make a long story short, there was a Queen and her name was Serenity and she ruled the moon kingdom, when the moon kingdom got attacked I left Saturn to go defend the kingdom fighting with everything in me because Hotaru is the scout of death and rebirth she could easily destroy a planet….when she used that power everything was destroyed but me and her were put to sleep for over a thousand years until we were awaken in the future but I reverted myself back into a baby and grandma Swan gave birth to me but I had all of my memories I slowed my own transformation down and let myself grow the normal way…but Bella you are half mortal, half immortal you won't reach your half immortality until you turn 18 next month when you do you will stop aging until a thousand years has pass and that is when you will age again…plus Bella you will develop power's since you are a half immortal…I'm not sure what your power or power's will be", said Charlie.
Bella blinked she didn't know what to say, she couldn't believe it she wasn't fully human well right now she is but she was half immortal but it wouldn't kick in until she turned 18 which was next month not only that she was going to develop power's so she never needed Edward to change her she was already going to be half immortal.
"Bella are you alright", said Hotaru taking her hand.
Bella nodded her head, 'I'm fine I just need some time to process this….", she said quietly.
Charlie nodded, "Sure Bella take your time and let us know if you have any questions", he said getting up and putting the pie's in separate containers.
"You girl's ready", he said as both girls nodded as they got up and headed to the police cruiser.
After 20 minutes of driving they pulled up to a red brick house where they saw a tall native boy with long black hair with a cute baby face smiling and waiting for them.
All three of them got out of the cruisers Jacob walked up to them, 'Bella, Charlie nice to see you guy's oh who is this", he said looking at Hotaru.
"This is my niece Hotaru-Chan she is visiting us", said Charlie.
"It's very nice to meet you", Hotaru said bowing to Jacob.
"Uh…. I didn't know you had a niece Charlie it's nice to meet you as well Ho…. tart….ru…. sorry if I said your name wrong", said a sheepish Jacob.
"It's alright I'm from Japan, so a lot of Americans can't say our names right", she said quietly.
"Well let's head inside dad is excited to see you", he said as everybody walked inside of the house.
"Billy your old man how is you", said Charlie tapping Billy on the shoulder.
"Charlie, Bella so nice to see you and who is this lovely young lady", said Billy staring at Hotaru.
"My name is Hotaru-Chan it's nice to meet you Billy-San", she said bowing to Billy.
"She is Japanese Billy so their customs are different then American's where as we hug they bow as a show of respect and you bow back to them", said Charlie.
Billy nodded as he bowed to her, "It's nice to meet you my dear I'm sorry I can't say your name right but over time I will learn how to say it right", he said smiling at her.
"Hi Billy it's nice to see you as well", said a quiet Bella.
"I'm glad your feeling better Bella we were worried about you", he said.
Bella nodded, "I am thanks to Hotaru", she said smiling at her cousin.
"Say Billy-san can you tell me where Sam lives I want to thank him and his friend's for finding my cousin and helping my family out", said Hotaru sweetly.
Billy smiled as he nodded, "Of course my dear, he lives down the street a few houses down from here his wife Emily should be there", he said as Hotaru nodded.
"Charlie, Bella, I will be right back", said Hotaru as she walked out of the house, she walked up to the cruiser as she grabbed the pie's she slowly began making her way down to Sam's house.
When Hotaru got to the last house on the black she saw a lone house that was pushed back more towards the forest she quietly walked up the stairs where she noticed a swing set she knocked on the door, a few second's later a young women with scars going from her right side of her face to her shoulder's with long black hair, she could tell the girl was native American by looking at her.
"Yes, may I help you", said Emily.
"Hello my name is Hotaru Tomoe and my uncle and cousin are Chief Swan and Bella and I understand that your husband Sam and his friends found her in the woods and I wanted to thank them by bringing some pie's as a thank you for finding her", she said gently.
"Oh, I didn't know chief swan had a niece", said Emily.
"I'm from Japan, so I don't come to the states often but when he called me about Bella I had to come right away to make sure she was alright", said Hotaru.
"That's so nice of you oh where are my manner's my name is Emily would you like to come in", said Emily as Hotaru nodded as Emily ushered her inside of her home.
Hotaru walked in and put the pies on the living room table, Emily went into the kitchen and motioned for Hotaru to follow her into the kitchen where Hotaru sat at the kitchen stool.
"Would you like some tea", said Emily.
"Sure, I would love some", said Hotaru.
A few minutes later both girls had warm mugs in front of them. Emily smiled at Hotaru there was something about her that she liked, "So ummmmm…. Ho…. tart….ru…. sorry if I didn't say it right tell me about yourself", she said sheepishly.
"It's alright Emily-Chan I'm from Japan born and raised, my father died year's ago, so my guardians have been taking care of me until I reached 18 but they still take care of me my mom died in a house fire when I was younger so I kind of grew up without my parent's with the exception of Uncle Charlie he came to Japan when he could but him and my guardians were always there for me and I am grateful for them more then ever", she said sweetly.
"I'm so sorry to hear that dear I'm glad you have family to look after you, I'm also glad you came to check on Bella we were really worried about her", said Emily.
"I thank you and your husband and his friend's for finding her when Charlie called I got so worried that something happened to her so I jumped on the first flight out of Japan to come here", she said.
Before another word could be said there were three howls heard close by the house, Emily looked to see if Hotaru was going to react but was shocked when she didn't even flinch or even move she kept drinking her tea as if she didn't hear anything.
"Is that your husband Emily", said Hotaru.
Emily smiled and nodded, "Yes that's him and Paul and Jared they like to sound like animals", she said hoping Hotaru wouldn't ask about the howls she heard.
"Emily…. Oh, I didn't know we were having a guest here", said Sam.
"Sam this is chief swan niece, she is from Japan and Charlie called her about Bella so she came to check on her but she bought you guy's pie's as a thank you for finding her cousin", said Emily.
Hotaru got up and turned to Sam she bowed, "Hello, my name is Hotaru-Chan it's really nice to meet you Sam-san thank you for finding my dear cousin", she said as she stared at Sam.
Sam smiled at her, "Your welcome ummmmm…. Ho…. tart….ru…I'm sorry for saying your name wrong", said Sam walking up to Hotaru.
Hotaru shook her head, "It's alright Sam my name is Japanese anyways as Emily said I bought you and your friend's two pie's as a thank you", she said gently.
Before Sam could say another word two more guy walked inside they stared at Hotaru wondering who she was.
"Paul, Jared, this is chief swan nice she is visiting from Japan to check on Bella, she brought us some pie's as a thank you for finding her", said Sam.
Hotaru bowed to them, "It's nice to meet you Paul-san and Jared-San my name is Hotaru-Chan thank you for finding my cousin Bella I am grateful to all of you", she said sweetly.
Jared bowed to her, "Your welcome Hotaru-Chan", he said.
"Dude why did you bow to her", said Paul.
Jared rolled his eyes, "It's part of their custom's it shows respect and how they greet each other", he said quickly.
When Hotaru looked up her heart stopped there in front of her was her lost love Henry, "Henry", she said quietly not believing she found him let alone to know that he was alive, she almost ran up to him but stood back she didn't know if he remembered her.
When Paul turned to Hotaru and stared at her eye's his world stopped suddenly it was all about her, the cables attaching themselves to her, he didn't see anybody else but her but there was something else he saw, he saw her with a purple royal dress and the symbol of Saturn on her forehead, next thing he saw was her in a sailor fuku with a strong weapon in her hand that she held. Somehow Paul knew this girl but he couldn't remember from where fuck man", he said quietly.
Hotaru blinked, "What was that", she said gently.
Jared and Sam tapped him on each shoulder congratulating him but Paul shook his head, "No…. this isn't happening to me I can't imprint", he said.
"Excuse me but what is imprinting", said Hotaru.
"Paul you need to tell her I need to inform the elders", said Sam.
"Hell, no I won't accept it I don't want this, she is cousin to the leech lover", said an angry Paul.
At hearing something about Bella something in her snapped she turned to Paul, "What did you just call Bella", she said deathly.
Jared and Sam took a step back they felt strong power coming from her, for some reason them and their wolves were scared of her.
"I said she is a leech lover", said Paul challenging her.
Hotaru eyes began glowing purple as it did the power of Uranus wind began suddenly appearing all around her suddenly everything and everyone were being blown everywhere.
