Prologue 1: Master Origins
The day was August 15th, 2003. A few people were walking around in Golden Leaf. But that's not where the focus lies. In a 20-foot basement underneath a normal household. Three people were having a conversation in a lab."So all I need to do is pass a final test, huh?" one man said.
"Yes, Jack. You need to kick my daughter's ass." the other man said.
"Ready, Jack? Because I'm not backing down." the woman said.
"Always. Maybe you should consider your chances better, since I had some training with these chakrams." Jack explained.
"Oh, I don't think that will be a problem." Alice said.
Jack held his arms out and created gusts of wind from his hands. From those winds two chakrams formed in his hands and he quickly threw one of them at Alice. She molded the earth to create a shield and pulled out two sets of throwing knives. She dashed across the room at blinding speed, which Jack found weird, since he was training with Alice for five years.
He knew she chose an element that left him with a swiftness advantage, so why was she faster than him? It was this confusion that left him with an opening. A swift kick in the side of his head followed.
"Ow!" Jack yelped.
"Shouldn't have created an opening in your confusion, Jack." Alice mocked.
Jack didn't take that well. He swept her off her feet and jumped 20 feet away. Alice however molded the earth to cushion her fall and threw a set of throwing knives. Jack dodged the knives and used the wind of the knives' momentum to quickly make a run for it.
Alice did not anticipate Jack using the momentum of her knives to run away.
"You're not getting away that easily, Jack!" Alice screamed in anger. This fight was getting to her on a different level than previously possible.
That was the moment Jack knew he fucked up. He had moments when he and Alice were just fooling around and after an hour or three she'd lost her patience. Now it's been 25 minutes.
"Oh, shit. I need to finish this now, or else Alice is gonna kill me regardless..." Jack said. He knew the spot where air would flow into the chamber. He used that spot to create a gust of wind to propel himself towards Alice.
Alice was surprised to say the least. Jack flew towards her at high speed and tackled her to the ground.
"Yield." Jack said.
"I concede, Jack. Good job." Alice replied.
"Congratulations, Jack and Alice. You both performed commendably. You passed your exam." Their teacher said.
"Thanks, Dad." Alice replied.
"I don't know about you, but I need a shower." Jack said.
"Why?" Alice asked.
"I was sweating bullets when I pissed you off, so I'm soaked." Jack replied.
All three of them laughed in Jack's embarrassment.
As Jack and Alice left the house, they saw something extraordinarily weird happen. A crack in space appeared. It grew, and as it grew they could see a hand. The crack in space was wide enough for multiple people to step through. They were... weird, to say the least.
Some people had red skin, hellish tails, and nails that would make Black Panther bow down. Other had animal ears, animal tails or wings that looked like those of a butterfly.
"Well... this couldn't have been stranger. Seems like that shower will have to wait for just a bit." Jack said.
"Go take a shower. I'll handle this." Alice replied, already sick of his shit.
A fairy walked through a crack in space. Her mother was actually the first to do so as she was leading the pack that would flee from a dying world. When the rather large group of fairies emerged she found herself standing in the town square with many faces staring at her.
"Mom, I'm scared." she said.
"Don't worry, Evelyn. I'm sure they are civilized enough not to fight with us." Evelyn's mother replied.
"You're right about that one, actually. We were just staring because this isn't exactly normal in any way, shape or form." Alice said, slowly approaching the group.
Alice's father saw what happened and rushed over.
"Alice, are you alright?" he exclaimed.
"Yeah, Dad. I was just striking up a conversation." Alice explained.
"Wait... Arnold's your dad?" Evelyn asked.
"Why does that shock you?" Alice asked in return.
"Because he never took you on his travels to our realms, apparently." one of the strange creatures said.
"Dad, what do they mean?" Alice asked.
"What they mean is that I have been to their worlds before. I wanted to broaden my horizons, so I crafted a rudimentary way to get somewhere fast." Arnold explained.
"And you didn't want me hurt." Alice theorized.
"Exactly." Arnold responded. "I couldn't live with myself if I got you hurt. And I especially wouldn't be able to make this up to your mother." he continued.
"I get how you feel, but your guilt over what happened with Mom is keeping you from spending time with me. I missed you a lot while you were away to these alternate dimensions. I hated that you weren't there when I needed you the most." Alice screamed in anger.
The people stood there shocked at what had happened between Arnold and his daughter. Evelyn was at the verge of tears. A small demon stood in disbelief that the man his people came to know as a good person would willingly exclude the only family left in his life. The fairies were trying to comfort Evelyn, even though she didn't have any connection to them except her mother(she failed soothing her child). The Demi-Humans were all silent. Even the chief's children didn't make a sound.
"All I needed back then was you, Dad. Why did you leave me alone for so long!?" Alice asked.
"Like I said, I didn't want you hurt. These realms have so many different dangers that I only barely survived thanks to the realm's inhabitants." Arnold explained.
"Does that mean that if you took her when you discovered that tech, she would've died?" Jack asked.
"Perceptive, young man." the Demi-Human chief said.
"Though I understand the reason, that doesn't make me forgive you that easy." Alice said.
"I think we need to take time off. Adjust ourselves to the situation." Jack suggested.
Everyone in the vicinity agreed. The Demi-humans, however, decided to seclude themselves from integrating into human society, preferring to live in the forest.
Arnold eventually explained to Jack that Alice was taught in her ways by a friend of his. When he returned from his last adventure 5 years ago, he'd discovered that his friend was MIA and declared dead. He was particularly sad when rumors had spread in the worlds that he went to. He heard from the royals of the fairies that right before they came to Golden Leaf, a person that looked identical to his friend appeared and started to wreck the place. He had a hard time believing that his friend was alive and committing these dimensional war crimes.
Alice listened in from a good distance.
"Why would Juan try to destroy these worlds? The people seem nice." Alice asked.
"I don't know. That's why I want you two to come with me tomorrow in order to capture him and make him reveal what he knows." Arnold explained.
"Are you sure we're up to the task? We just passed our exams, you know." Jack asked.
"You're experienced enough. You two can handle each other at their worst, so why can't you handle a person like me?" Arnold replied.
"Give us the call and we'll be there, Dad." Alice said.
August 16th, 8:35 a.m.
Prime Material Plane
Ancient Temple in the vicinity of Golden Leaf
"Well... cozy place he's got." Jack said.
"It gives me the creeps." Alice replied.
"Get your guard up. we're not alone." Arnold said.
Tens of hundreds of Slimes, Skeletons and Sentient Armors moved out of the rooms inside the temple. Jack was able to throw a chakram at a Skeleton, and as the chakram bounced off of the thing, it disintegrated. The three were able to kill the creatures and began to move up through the levels, encountering King Slimes, Calcium Wreaths and Sentient Juggernaut Armor, with in the middle...
"What are you doing here, Juan? I thought you had died five years ago." Arnold asked.
"Surprise, friend. I was simply adventuring myself." Juan replied.
"What did you find out of those adventures?" Jack asked, his curiosity being triggered.
"I found that every single person I came across was weak like Alice was when I started training her. The very thought of those people thinking they're strong just because they have some form of power over others disgusts me. Which is why I'm making plans to end existence itself, making me the only thing that has ever lived in the past 45 billion years." Juan explained.
"Like hell that'll happen!" Alice screamed.
"Your death will spark the start of my conquest, Alice!" Juan screamed back.
He dashed to her and kicked her in the gut. Arnold responded by initiating a Dragon Ball Z-esque fight with his former friend and colleague.
Alice recovered to find her dad missing from sight. Jack was worried for her safety and she was worried for her dad's life. They were both pissed, so they combined their attacks and took down the monsters standing in their way.
Upon clearing the way, Alice could roughly see her dad fighting with Juan. Punches were being thrown at a lightning-fast pace. But suddenly...
{SMASH!}
Arnold was laying on the ground.
Alice ran over to her dad.
"Dad! Please, don't leave me!" Alice cried. Jack tried to comfort her, but she shoved him away.
"Don't cry, Alice. I knew my time was coming. I didn't expect it to be this soon, though..." Arnold coughed.
"How can I continue without you!?" Alice screamed. Arnold simply pointed at Jack. It was clear that Arnold wanted Jack to protect her.
"You know what to do... Find others and teach them your craft..." Arnold said softly.
Those were his last words.
Blood loss and instant organ failure upon impact were the cause of death.
The rest of the year was hard for Alice. She tried to move on, but it was hard. She couldn't stop blaming herself for his death. In that time, she started living with Jack, keeping her own house as a vacation home until January 1st, 2004. Jack told his parents he would be living with Alice in her house. This was like a feral punch to the gut for Alice. Living in her home permanently and being reminded of her dead parents every single day.
What Alice didn't know was that her parents' ghosts were watching over her. Her mother, Quinn, had a depressed expression to see her child like this. She also knew that this wouldn't be the last time they saw her. With that, the visage of Alice's parents disappeared.

Prime Material Plane
Golden Leaf Residential District
Evelyn didn't know what she was expecting. Jack had texted her to come over. Considering her birthday was unknown, she decided to pick a random day from the calendar for convenience to government officials.
"What's up, dude?" she asked.
"I'm good. Happy birthday, by the way." Jack responded.
"Why did you want to see me?" Evelyn asked.
"Well... to be honest, I wanted to catch up. But I think Alice wants to talk with you." Jack admitted.
"For the love of... She needs to stop blaming herself for what happened. It's tearing our friendship apart." Evelyn said angrily.
"I heard that. But that's not what I wanted to talk to you about." Alice said.
Jack and Evelyn were now both intrigued.
"Would you like to become one of us, Evelyn?" Alice asked.
"Sure. currently I've got nothing better to do aside from babysitting, so..." Evelyn said.
Jack and Alice were excited, but Jack suspected an ulterior motive. Once they were alone he decided to confront her.
"What's your plan?" Jack asked.
"I'm creating an army to confront Juan." Alice said. Something in the back of Jack's mind clicked.
"No, you're not. Not on my watch." Jack retorted.
"Why not?" Alice asked in return.
"Are you out of your mind!? You're only going to kill yourself at this rate!" Jack yelled.
Alice snapped. She started crying out of nowhere. This conversation reminded her of the countless arguments she had with her dad. She ran to her room and went to sleep.
"Great." Jack said sarcastically. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and texted Evelyn. He got outside, locked the door and went to the fountain where Evelyn liked to just sit by the fountain and stare.
Later that night, Jack and Evelyn were talking by the fountain in the middle of the residential district.
"Wait, what!?" Evelyn yelled.
"Yeah. I don't want her to literally follow in her father's footsteps." Jack explained.
"Well... we can both explain the situation and persuade her to do otherwise." Evelyn theorized.
"Sorry this kind of ruined your birthday." Jack apologized.
"No worries. Last year was worse." Evelyn said, laughing it off.
December 16th 2004, 1:55 p.m.
Prime Material Plane
Golden Leaf, Alice's House's Basement
It's been about eight months since Evelyn started her training with Jack and Alice. In that time she discovered something her kind was able to do since birth. Jack and Alice were setting up the final exam Evelyn would have, which was a fight against holograms of themselves.
She started altering her molecular structure to that of water, controlling her movement for the first two holograms. The final two were more of a pickle however. They kept dodging water every time Evelyn moved, so Evelyn changed her molecular structure back to that of a human and summoned two identical shotguns from water streams. It clearly caught the holograms off guard, since Evelyn shot a bullet in each head successfully.
"Congratulations, Evelyn. You... almost passed." Jack said.
"I'm still not done!?" Evelyn said.
"You have to have a codename, silly." Alice deadpanned.
"Right. Well, for that matter... Let's go back to my roots. call me Fae." Evelyn said.
All three of them went to go get food, as Evelyn got really hungry after her exam.
They didn't know Juan was planning the biggest move in history.
December 16th 2004, 10 p.m.
Beyond the Veil of Death and Beyond the Veil of Time and Space
Golden Leaf, Ancient Temple
Juan walked to an altar in the middle of the largest room in the temple. He activated a box he found on an excavation site.
"Heed me, Raven Queen. Open the doorway of the impossible for me, so I can start my plan to rewrite history itself!" Juan yelled.
At his command, several cracks opened to reveal some places with beautiful landscapes with trees shaped like blocks, ancient structures, the interior of a battleship. One crack only revealed a black space with several people inside.
"Hello there, brothers and sisters of chaos." Juan spoke.
"What do you want?" one of the women spoke.
"You see, Saya. Your histories haven't been too kind. Some of you have died fighting your sworn enemies, others deceived their way to their deaths." Juan explained. A scarlet-haired woman simply scoffed when she felt she was being called out.
"I offer you a second chance for chaos. I will release the deceased people in their respective worlds." Juan explained before being cut off by a man with scraggly, blue hair and a hand over his face.
"What do you expect us to do when that's over?" he asked.
"That's simple, Shigaraki. Create as much chaos as discreetly as possible. I will give the call when the next phase begins." Juan continued.
A very round man with comically long legs was skeptical, however.
"What about alternate dimensions running close to mine?" he asked.
"I believe you have a robot you can use for blackmail, Ivo. Or should I say... Dr. Eggman?" Juan asked in response.
"I like this plan. I'm in." Eggman said delighted.
All the people Juan had recruited had agreed to his plan. He finally broke reality to revive all of the deceased villains. Heaven, Hell, the Prime Material Plane, other dimensions and other times experienced the same ripple. The reality-breaking ripple could even be felt in another multiverse, reviving the worst person to ever live there, Keyblade Master Xehanort.
"Let the extermination begin..." Juan said before laughing maniacally.
Episode End
As you can see, we already have a lot of stuff going down in the first prologue. To start with how things are noted.
Every time the people are at another place at one point in time there will always be a notion of the date and time of day, followed by what Plane the characters currently inhabit and the place they're at in that Plane.
Next is the notion of sound effects. every sound effect that isn't a word(trust me, this will become apparent in the tokusatsu episodes) is going to be encased in curly brackets.
Finally, in this Episode there are canon events and abilities to the universe that can be explained away in the story.
Fairies can change their molecular structure to match any element that physically exists. They cannot make their body like pure light or pure darkness. We'll touch on the Demon race and Demi-Human race later in the set of prologue.
Alice's mother passed away when Alice had just turned 3, and considering Arnold would constantly leave to other Planes of existence until Juan went MIA, she was alone for most of her childhood.
Jack is very concerned about other's well-being. He's kind of like the overprotective dad character in this story.
The reason Evelyn, Jack and Alice chose their respective element to wield was different for each of them. For Jack, he chose the wind because he likes to live as free as possible while respecting the laws and morals he was taught. Alice chose earth because she strongly perceives things in order to ground her to the present. This proves difficult since she has one of the forms in the autistic spectrum. Evelyn simply chose water because the water fountain in the middle of the Residential District fascinated her when she arrived. If you looked at her, it would look like a child that just experienced their first Disney movie.
Anyway, the next chapter, which is called Breaking Point, will kick you in the feels even more, so prepare thyself as i prepare myself not to cry while writing it.
Another side note, almost every original character comes from a different country, so Dutch characters will speak English, characters from the Americas will speak English and a little bit of Spanish the way Mexican people speak Spanish, Australians will speak English with a little bit of Australian dialect words sprinkled in, Japanese characters will have Japanese sentences mixed in with their English speech and the only two Egyptian characters are bilingual in every language the other characters speak.
