Disclaimer! I do not own Digimon, Power Rangers, Sailor Moon, X-Men, The Justice League or any of the series that will appear in this story!
Here is some things that have changed from the original story of Digimon Adventure.
1. Taichi Kamiya is actually Tyson DeSantos, the son of Rocky DeSantos.
2. Tyson was the Silver Ranger of the Dino Thunder team.
3. The year is 2006 instead of 1999.
4. Patamon didn't get turned into a Digi-egg after Devimon was defeated, Tyson morphed into his Ranger form and helped Angemon fight Devimon.
5. Tyson didn't digivolve Greymon into Skullgreymon, that was caused by an outside interference that they still don't know about.
6. Pixiemon's training is interrupted by Sailor Knowledge of the Virtue Senshi since he wasn't training them properly.
7. When Tyson and Koromon were sent back to the human world when Etemon was defeated they found Kari walking outside without her parents in sight. When Tyson asks where they were she tells him they went to check on her grandmother who's sick and didn't get someone to watch her. Needless to say Tyson is angry and has Kari come with him to where he and his parents are staying to let them know what's going on.
8. When the group encounter Myotismon for the first time he helps Garudamon fight the vampire Digimon in his Ranger form and almost succeeds in defeating him.
9. The Rangers, X-Men, Avengers and Justice League Members who are in Japan come and help the Digidestined with the situation.
10. This story takes place takes place after the Sailor Moon and Beetleborg stories. I'll try to avoid spoilers, but some spoilers may be revealed.
Anyways, on with the story!
Tyson opens the door to the apartment he and his parents are staying in and is immediately met by the worried look on his mother and fathers face.
"What happened?" Rocky asks his son.
"One of the enemies we were facing is currently roaming Japan in search of an eighth Digidestined." Tyson says with Koromon in his arms.
Sharon curses quietly curses while Rocky goes to get his communicator to make a few calls.
"Who're you contacting?" Asks Tyson.
"Tommy, Kimberly, Natsumi and Demiyah are also in Japan dealing with a family situation. After I let them know what's going on, I'll see which members of the Avengers, Justice League and X-Men are here." Explains Rocky.
Tyson nods his head while Koromon notices something.
"Where's Kari?" Asks the small pink Digimon.
"Her parents came home, so she went back to her apartment." Explains Sharon, who is still unhappy about the situation regarding the Kamiya's
Tyson nods his head, just as unhappy before his father asks him a question.
"Any ideas on who this eighth Digidestined could be?" Rocky asks curiously.
"Well, Koshiro and I suspect that the Eight Digidestined lived at Highton View Terrace in Hikarigoaka 4 years ago." Explains Tyson.
Rocky nods his head before coming to a conclusion.
"Have your team and their parents meet at the Silver Guardians base in Japan. We'll work on a plan from there." Rocky says with Tyson nodding his head in agreement and calling his friends to let them know about the plan.
The next day we see the Digidestined and their families inside the Silver Guardians building in Japan going over the situation.
11 year old Tyson DeSantos came with Agumon and his birth parents Rocky DeSantos and Sharon Firus DeSantos.
11 year old Yamato Ishida came with Gabumon and his father Hiroaki Ishida.
11 year old Sora Takenouchi came with Biyomon and her mother Toshiko Takenouchi.
12 year old Joe Kido came with Gomamon and his mother Jasmine Kido.
10 year old Mimi Tachikawa came with Palmon and her parents Keisuke and Satoe Tachikawa.
10 year old Koshiro Izumi came with Tentomon and his adoptive parents Kasami and Kae Izumi.
Finally 9 year old Takeru Takashi came with Patamon and his mother Natsuko Takashi.
The families were gathered to discuss what was going on and needless to say, many of them were experiencing different emotions.
The main emotions they were feeling were shock, anger and concern.
The parents were shocked that their kids were chosen, angry at the Kamiya parents for what they did to Tyson and concerned for their children's safety.
However this is when a revelation takes place.
"So the Digital World has called upon a new group of Digidestined?" Jasmine says worried for her son's life once the evil in the Digital World was defeated.
"Looks like it, I have to wonder why our team wasn't called in, we did stop Daemon." Hiroaki says questioning the logic in the plan
"This gets shocked looks from everyone."
"You're a Digidestined?" Yamato asks in surprise.
"It was a long time ago, back in 1993." Explains Jasmine.
That's when Rocky begins asking them questions.
"Where is the rest of your team, I ask because we may need their help in the future.
Hiroaki sighs before answering.
"Hiroaki Hida is currently in a coma at a hospital, his partner was a Ryudamon. Tony Stark is as you guessed, in America running a company. His partner was a Solarmon. I haven't heard from Spencer Damon in years, apparenty he's involved in some kind of project, his partner is a Liollmon.
"What about you two, who were your partners?" Rocky asks.
"I had a Gabumon as a partner." Says Hiroaki.
"My partner was a Shakomon." Says Jasmine.
"So you were part of the original Digidestined that saved the Digital World a long time ago.
Hiroaki and Jasmine shake their heads.
"No, there was a team before us that protected the Digital World from a threat known as-" Jamsine begins before she was cut off by Natsumi.
" The Dark Masters and the year was 1989. I know and it wasn't a pretty situation." Natsumi says, revealing that she herself was one of the first Digidestined.
"You're one of the chosen who fought Apocalymon!" Hiroaki says in shock.
Natsumi nods her head before explaing that one of her teammates, Maki Himekawa had lost her partner when he sacrificed himself to get their partners up to the Mega level.
"Who else was part of your group?" Jasmine asks curiously.
"It was me, my husband Ryo/Kasai, Daigo Nishijima, Maki Himekawa and Leo Corbett." Explains, making a few Rangers eyes widen.
"Leo's a Digidestined?!" Rocky says with wide eyes.
"Yeah, you know him?" Natsumi asks.
"He's the Red Galaxy Ranger." Explains Tommy
With that now revealed the group of people decide to head home, with Rocky planning on Contacting Tony Stark and Leo Corbett to let them know about the situation. Before that though Demiyah turns to Tyson.
"Tyson, I'd like to take a look at your Digivice. Is that ok with you?" Asks Demiyah.
"Sure, but please don't break it." Tyson says giving his Digivice to Demiyah to look over.
"Got it, I'll have it back to you by tomorrow." Demiyah says.
With that everyone went home.
Meanwhile Myotismon is giving out copies of the Crest of Light to his henchmen to search for the Eighth Child.
"With these copy crests we will be able to locate the Eighth Child." Myotismon says with a cold grin on his face.
His henchman Demidevimon, Wizardmon, and Gatomon along with his other followers begin searching for the Eight Child.
However, Wizardmon isn't loyal to Myotismon and plans on helping the Digidestined take down Myotismon and reuniting Gatomon with her partner, whoever they are.
Little does anyone realize that the Eighth Child is Kari Kamiya and that she just may be the one to bring Myotismon down.
