Tales of gallant heroes, evil villians, and fairy-tale princesses have all been heard and told throughout the known world. Yet this is only the beginning. There are more adventures, more journeys, villains more powerful and ancient than the next, secrets and long-lost realms, and new heroes, who have their own stories to be told. It is time, for the tale of stories to be told.

Prologue

He grabbed the soft quill and a small container of ink. It was about to begin. His greatest task, and the culmination of years, decades, maybe even centuries of work. It would be long, certainly, and hard, that was a given, but in the end, he thought it would be worth it.

The room was dark, lit only by a few candles burning in the twilight. But such things did not deter him. Nothing could deter him. It was about to begin. He dipped the quill in the ink and grabbed the stretched-out piles of paper and leathered books before him. He paused right before he began writing; if he started, there would be no going back. They, unaware of even their destiny or what would happen would rise up and begin their journey, completely oblivious of the grand scheme of things to come, while the Other-One was plotting his return. His hands shook with the weight of what would happen. But it did not matter. It was about to begin. With new resolve, he began to write in soft manner, words that been the start of many stories before, and words that beckoned the universe to watch and beheld this knew tale "Once upon a time…." It had begun.

Yes, it might be only a little bit, but it is a start. There is a lot more that I hope to keep adding on. And yes, it is held within the Disney Princesses canon, but with my own ideas and worldbuilding and characters. Essentially, it takes place after all the original Disney movies, with new and old characters, new villains, and a whole lot more. Hope you enjoy!
