Author Note: I decided to rewrite all of my Revolution stories and make them longer. I know that I wrote at least three of the Revolution stories. I took down We can make it work, we can be happy and Escape plan.
Chapter 1
Katie walked into the master bedroom to find Bass already for the party that he was throwing for his men. She knew about the girls that Bass had with him when he went on the business trips but wanted to overcome that for their families. She did not want to go to the party due to the fact that one of his men gives her the creeps.
"Bass, I do not want to go to this party." Katie said to her husband as she sat on the bed.
"Katie, we are not going to go through this again. Like I said before, we need to be a united front with my men and you know this." Bass revealed to her as he turned to her.
"I need you to hear me out on this. One of your men freak me out and I just don't want to be around him. I need you to protect me from him and the way that the world is now. We both know that it was hard for me when my brother and Rachel took the kids and ran away." Katie said to him.
"Katie, you know that I would do anything to make sure that you stay safe. I promised both of your brothers that I would do anything in my power to keep you safe ever since the power went out. Ever since the power went out, I have kept that promised because I knew anyone would have killed you." Bass revealed to her as he sat on the bed infront of her. "But I need you to come with me to this party."
"I hope that you realize what an ass you are sometimes." Katie said as she got off the bed and headed into the bathroom as Bass went out of the room.
Meanwhile, Bass had just walked out of the room to find one of his men standing there so he vented about the fight that he just had with Katie. Bass walked away from his men. He was hoping that his man would convice his wife to come to the party but little did he know what was really going to happen.
Katie had just walked out of the bathroom to find the man closing the door.
"You do not want to to do this." She said to him but it was too late since there was nothing that she could do to stop him from raping him. When he was done, he left the room. Just ten minutes later, Miles came walking into the room. "No, not again. You can tell Bass that I will go to the party."
"What are you talking about? What happen?" Miles asked his sister as he walked closer. "Hey, it's okay. I am going to give you this blanket. I need you to tell me what happen. We are going to try to get you out of here if you want me too. I am leaving Bass and this whole place."
"I can't go." She said to her brother.
"What do you mean that you can't go? I am your brother. We are going to find Ben and the kids." Miles revealed to his sister.
"I can't leave Bass because I am pregnant. We both know that Bass will find us and kill me if I ran." She said to her brother.
"I can keep you safe." Miles responded to her. "I can keep the baby safe too. We both know that he killed Rachel. He is not safe to be around. You have until tonight to let me know what you have decided."
"Miles, one of your men raped me. He is one of Bass's favorite men and he attacked me after I told Bass that I did not want to go." Katie revealed to her brother.
"I gonna kill him." Miles revealed to his sister.
"You can't kill Bass. I don't want to see him hurt." Katie revealed to her brother as she went into the bathroom to take a shower. Miles had left the room and found one of the men that he trusted.
"I don't want you leave my sister's door until I come back with Bass. Do not let anyone in the room." Miles ordered the man.
"Okay." the man said to Miles as he watched him walked away. He knew that the man had went to far.
Katie was in the bathroom taking a shower. She knew that she needed to figure out what to do with the fact that she was just raped by one of her husband's men and then her brother wanted her to leave her husband. She was not paying any attention to the fact that her brother and husband walked into the room.
Meanwhile, Bass was flirting with one of the girls when Miles came walking into the room.
"Are you kidding me?" Miles said to Bass. "Your wife is upset and you are down here flirting with another girl."
"What do you mean that my wife is upset?" Bass asked his brother in law. "We had a fight and I left when she was fine."
"No Bass, my sister is not fine. She was raped by one of our men because you told him about the fight." Miles revealed to him.
"I need to hear it from her." Bass said as he started to run upstairs to find out what is going on.
Back upstairs, Bass walked into the bedroom with Miles in tow. He saw his wife sitting on the bed crying.
"Katie, are you okay?" Bass asked his wife. He felt like a jerk about this.
"No, I am not okay. Just because we had a fight and you had to chat about it with your best friend. He came into our room and raped me." Katie revealed to her husband.
"Are you serious? You are going to accuse him of raping you when I trust him with keeping you safe." Bass defended his actions.
"Bass, it's the truth. He walked out of the room right as I came to check on her." Miles said to him.
"We need to find him and get some answers." Bass revealed to him. "I will be right back and I need you to stay here."
Katie watched as her husband got off the bed and walked out of the room with Miles. She knew that Miles would have someone, he trusted, stay with her. Bass was able to find the man that raped his wife and walked right up to him and punch him in the face.
"How dare you touch my wife!" He yelled at him. Miles could tell that Bass was pissed and he just step back and watched Bass hit him. The fact was that if Miles got involoved with it, he might killed him for attacking his sister.
"I am sorry for doing what was needed to keep her in line." The man revealed to his boss.
"Stay away from my wife. If I find out that you come near her again. I will kill you with my bare hands." Bass warned him before walking away. Bass walked back into the room to find Katie just coming out of the bathroom from getting sick. Katie knew that she needed to tell Bass about the baby since she was starting to bleed. She was only ten weeks pregnant with their first child.
"Are you going to tell me about what is going on?" Bass asked his wife as he rushed to her side.
"I started bleeding right after you and Miles left to go confront him about what he did but it looks like he did more than that." Katie said to her husband.
"What do you mean?" Bass asked her. He was a little bit confused about what was going on.
"I am pretty sure that I am losing the baby." Katie revealed to her husband. She looked over at Miles to find that he was upset about it.
"Listen to me, I promised that I did not know that he was going to do that to you. I am going to go find the doctor to see if there is anything that we can do to save the baby." Bass said before going to get the doctor but it was too late for them and their child.
Miles ended up following Bass when he left the room. He knew that Bass was going to go find the man that attacked his wife and killed his baby.
"Miles, you should get back to Katie. I am just going to kill the man that cost me my child." Bass revealed to him.
"You and I both know that I am not going to leave you alone. Bass, you are forgetting that I know you." Miles revealed to his friend. "Plus, I know that my sister needs you right now."
"What is going on now Boss?" He asked him right as Miles and Bass came walking into the room. The guy did not see it coming when Bass had hit him again.
"You son of a bitch." Bass said before hitting him again before Miles had managed to stop him. "Let me go Miles."
"What is wrong with you? He is one of our best men." Miles said to him. "There is another way to handle this."
"He killed my baby. I don't care if he is one of our best men. I want him dead tonight for what he did to Katie and my child." Bass revealed to him as the other man started to laugh about what Bass had just said. "Why are you laughing?
"She told you that she was pregnant? She is lying to you about that." The man revealed to both Bass and Miles.
"Now you have gone to far. My sister is not a liar." Miles said as he pulled out the gun and shot the man. Katie had heard the shot go off from the room. She knew that either Miles or Bass had killed her attacker. Bass and Miles walked back into the room as she sat down on the bed.
"Hey, it's going to be okay. He won't be a problem for anyone. He is gone." Bass revealed to his wife. Bass was not playing any attention to Miles. Katie looked over to her brother to find that he had pulled a gun on Bass.
"What are you doing Miles?" Katie asked her brother. Bass stood up to make sure that Katie was not going to be in the line of fire.
"Miles, listen to me. Put the gun down and we can work through whatever is going on with you and me." Bass revealed to his brother-in-law.
"No, we can't. Bass, you killed a whole family on my birthday because they were rebels." Miles responded to his sister.
"Miles, they set off a bomb that nearly killed you and me." Bass responded to his friend. Katie knew that her husband was trying to defend what he did. "We both know that I needed to send them a message that they could not try to hurt us and get away with it."
Before Katie could try to convice her brother not to shot him, she hear a shot go off. Miles ran out of the room.
"What are you going to do?" Katie asked her husband.
"I am going to find and kill your brother." Bass revealed to her. He knew that this was going to be hard for her but knew that this was going to be important to him and hope that she would support him on this.
