Chris McLean, world famous reality TV host, everyone knew him, especially the network's lawyers, they knew him really well. After Pahkitew Island aired, many a lawsuit were filed against the titular host for his reckless actions, child endangerment, nearly letting the final six blow themselves up, and those were just the surface level issues. To say the least, the network couldn't afford to keep Pahkitew Island, so the faux island was put up for auction and sold to make up some of the money lost in the suits.

Fast forward a few years, the Ridonculous Race is the new worldwide phenomenon, with its host Don gaining traction at just the same pace as Chris had. The network was furious with this, as the show had gone as far as to snatch up some of their famed cast members like Owen. Their Total Drama contracts had ended, so they were free to compete as they pleased on other shows, but it still stung nonetheless.

The second season of the Ridonculous Race was now airing, and its popularity was living rent-free in the heads of the executives. They couldn't even try to jumpstart a new Total Drama season with it airing during the summer, the desperation would be too obvious. Quarter 3 was just out of the question, and their own show Fashionista Flip-Flop was tanking in ratings. Quarter 4 was rolling up, and there really only seemed to be one option left to keep the network afloat...

"Yo!" Chris greeted the viewer, standing in a white coat with gray stripes and gray fur lining to keep himself warm. Why layer up? A quick pan out from Chris's face showed that he was standing on a snowy mountain, with only a wooden ski lodge behind him.

The lodge behind Chris was quite... efficient to say the least. There weren't a lot of fancy decorations or nice touch ups to make it look nice, the network was clearly on a budget with selecting this location. "Welcome to the Pahkitew Ski Resort! Our new location for the next season of Total Drama!" Chris introduced the lodge, not quite having let go of the Pahkitew name just yet.

Chris walked closer to the lodge, taking some heavy breaths due to how cold it was, with his breath easily seen even by the camera. "We've spent summers putting teens to the test for the million dollars, but what about the winter? This time around, we'll be spending winter vacation here, and you'll get to see 18 teens duke it out for the cash prize! They'll have to face the harsh and real elements of the snowy wilderness, with only this cabin for shelter!" Chris explained, rubbing his gloved hands together sinisterly.

Someone behind the camera was making a gesture, reminding Chris of something. Chris caught the clue and lightly nodded so it wouldn't be too noticeable. "Of course, all of our contestants this season will be properly taken care of, and will receive some of Chef's finest winter cooking. So who wouldn't want to spend their winter vacation here? They'll make some memories, some friends, and maybe even a million dollars!" Chris added, trying to lighten the tone.

Chris pulled a letter out of his pocket, holding it out for the camera to zoom in on and show the address on it. "We're accepting applications now, so submit your applications and mail them to this address! More information can be found on the website, we hope to see you there! Until then, this is Chris McLean, and I might see you on Total, Drama, Snowscapes!" Chris finished the casting call, and the commercial was over. This first aired during the final four episodes of the Ridonculous Race's second season.

Greetings everyone, if you've gotten this far, this concept might have piqued your interest. I'm taking my first dip into the SYOC scene here, so I hope I can deliver something for you all to take part in and enjoy. The form will be on my profile, and I'm keeping it fairly short since I know I don't need to put every minute detail as something separate. Just fill in each part as best as you can, don't send in busted OCs, and keep it fun.

I'm looking for 18 OCs, so be sure to send an application in my PMs if you're interested. It won't be first come first serve, although sending in earlier is better than later since it's easier to plan around the early ones.

Have a good day to you all, and I'll be back when I have a cast put together!
